Boston Dog Company: what do users think?
Kenz Rogers: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,Value
Emma Kahn: They're only still in business because their customers can't speak
Michael Brown: Boston Dog Co has capitalized on a market, where people don't want to spend much on their dogs and real estate is really expensive. There is not much competition and it is a super unregulated industry. My partner and I are the doting, gay parents of a lovely lab rescued from the Bible Belt. Here is our take after our first day:Pros:- Some staff seem to be very capable dog handlers. Very knowledgeable evaluation on day one. Day two drop off went smoothly, even though the separation was not easy on my dog.- Convenient locations- Humane facilities (yes, the bar is in fact that low)Cons:- Some pretty uninformed dog handlers (shouting at a barking dog, only reinforces the barking) and some pretty unenthusiastic staff. I had questions about how my dogs first day went and I was rushed out the door, even though I came at a slow point in the day.- Unclear terms... I didn't get a tour of the space and it is unclear from the website what some of the services even are.- The public, human used spaces are dirty. Given that I didn't get a tour of the part of the facility the animals are kept in means that my imagination is filling in the gaps.Verdict: I am skeptical that this will be our forever daycare but we will give it a few more tries. They are not horrible, but I am pretty sure I can find something that would work better for our family.
Ishani Batuwantudave: I am having such a difficult time getting in touch with someone at the North Cambridge location. I received an email for a temperament test I replied and haven’t heard back yet since May 23rd.
Glenda Naff Jaswal: Great place for my Jack!
Carmina Cavazos: The staff is very amiable and serviceable. Attentive and nice. They take good care of all dogs. My dog Penny comes home happy and energized every time she goes to doggy daycare.
John Maguire: Fantastic and caring staff, you can be confident your dog will be safe and exhausted afterwards

Boston Dog Company: what do users think?
Jake Rother: Convenient locations and most staff seemed solid and caring however, other staff members seemed indifferent or not caring at all about dogs. Charged me $40 for 2 hours when the hourly sign clearly stated otherwise. Was told dogs were taken on walks and outside often however, upon picking my dogs up they clearly hadn't been out at all as they rushed to the nearest tree to pee as soon as possible. No pictures or updates on dogs and you can't even call the individual locations to get updates? We have been to various dog daycare places around the country with our 2 dogs. This has been our worst experience yet, will be looking elsewhere.
Elissa Harel Ryan: Staff here extremely unfriendly. Needed to come THREE times and PAY to have our dog approved. We have moved many times and our dog has been to many daycares - I fully agree with an interview process - but ONE is sufficient. Three is excessive and inconvenient. They are inflexible, not nice, and discourage the dogs from playing and barking. We went there once when we moved to the neighborhood, had a terrible experience and never went back in 4 years despite living around the corner. I have never had such a terrible doggie daycare experience.
Rob Winter: We used Boston Dog for daycare for almost a year, and their boarding service once. This was our experience:- No information given when we picked up our dog each day. No reports on behavior, or photos- They advertise being next to the park, and that each dog receives walks every day. I know for a fact that most dogs use the restroom in their play area, and are not taken outside- No training, whatsoever. Training is advertised here; however it was never offered- After a year, our dog had an “incident” and was “no longer welcome”, we tried and failed to receive a single report on what happened, and were denied any photo or video of the incident- During boarding, received zero updates or information whatsoever- Over one year, we saw the staff turn over 100% three times- The only positive here is the convenient location.
Abduala Ben Mahmoud: Unfriendly staff
Justin Chapman: Professional, caring, and dedicated! Love this place, and all those that work there!
Jeansun Lee: I moved to East Cambridge about 6 months and felt very lucky at the time that Boston Dog Company was so close. Each of my experiences at this place has been pretty bad, unfortunately. When I first entered the store, I asked about their walking services and a staff member told me she didn't know and to go to the website - who does this!?!? TRAIN YOUR STAFF or at least put in the effort to learn what the company you work for offers. And another thing - this has happened to me so many times I can't even count - every time I went in to purchase treats for my dog the prices of the said treats would change drastically and different staff members would charge me different rates for the item. For example, I told staff that what she charged me $3.50 for a treat last week was suddenly marked $9.99. This is just one example - this happens far too often. I feel like the staff here are not trained well nor engaged with their work. To top it off, everyone is on a different page. I am super disappointed with this place, and I don't even board my dog here for daycare!
nanette ciano: Went in to by a dog harness and was treated to friendly and expert service.
Sophie Miller: Definitely for calm dogs who aren’t really trying to play much or get energy out so wasn’t a fit for my high energy golden. But super nice staff and would be good for low energy dogs
Alexander Brown: Great daycare but sub-par rules, our dog passed all of their socialization tests but we were required to bring her 4 times a month. So after moving and getting new jobs, we missed a couple times so they said we had to make the missed visits up next month! They are too strict.
Jeff Rodowicz: Bailey always comes home happy and exhausted! We are so happy we found this place!
Tom Crowley: Our dog is happy to go there in the morning, safe when she is there and tired when she comes home. Could not recommend it more.
Dan S: Awesome staff!!!
Kevin Lin: I have used Boston Dog Company for months now, and my 1 year old hound LOVES it there. The staff is AMAZING and whenever I have any questions about food, exercise or even my dogs health they are always there to answer my questions. Vader my dog goes to daycare about 4 days a week and loves to play with all of the other dogs whether big or small. The play area is very well monitored and there is always someone in the pen with them, staff is always interacting with them, and adjusting to make sure that none of the dogs get hurt. I would highly recommend this day care to anyone who is looking for a safe, reliable place to send they're dog during the day.Like I said the staff is great they are all extremely knowledgeable about foods, treats, toys, vitamins and supplements, as well as many other products that they carry in store. They have a great selection of high quality food for both dogs and cats. They also offer boarding, and are extremely fairly priced. Staff here is great, they listen, answer all of your questions, and take pride in making sure all of the dogs are well taken care of
A GOOGLE USER: Excellent facility...My Dog enjoyed his visit. Love the atmosphere. They are friendly and helpful, they offer all the services I need at good prices, my dog is always happy when she comes home. Thank you!!
Deepika K: I am sure they are wonderful but do we have to pay and how much?
Guido Stein: I have been using Boston dog for a couple of months. I bring my poodle mix there at 7am and pick up around 6 pm. When my guy arrives there are smiles all around and he's happy as a clam right away. The few minutes after drop off, watching my guy greet the other dogs and staff fill me with great joy and pride.Anyhow, it's a great, clean, and friendly place where dogs play all day.I love that they post photos of dogs on Facebook daily. The cost is comparable to other places in the area with the same amenities. The location is very convenient for people commuting from Somerville to lynn. The staff is friendly, although setting up the initial interview required a little persistence on my part.I highly recommend this place.

Crate Escape: what do users think?
sophia helverson: Thank you Crate Escape, for being the best home-away-from-home for my pup. He is always well-cared for and absolutely loves it here.
Elizabeth Zeldin: I have taken two generations of dogs to Crate Escape Too and it has been a wonderful experience for my dogs and a worry-free way for me to leave my dogs with other similar sized dogs in a safe environment with varied activities. The staff is great at making the dogs comfortable and making the store as convenient as possible for pet owners. My bichon Hockney becomes excited as soon as he gets close to Crate Escape and rushes in to begin his days there.
Emily Hudson: My dog absolutely loves it here! And from my experience all dogs do.
Philip Rizzuto: Excellent care. The place is well staffed and the employees are extremely friendly and accommodating. The dogs seem very relaxed and at ease. One caveat, the app they use to register your dog is difficult to navigate. I bought a package of 30 days, but occasionally I got charged as if I didn't have a package because of some flaw in the app system. They refunded me no problem, but just FYI if you choose to use their service.
Boston guy: I use to love the place and the people who worked there, and always suggested it to others that had dogs. But not anymore… they no longer seem to be customer focused. I was a customer for a couple of years until Covid. When I wanted to start being my lab again it took over two months to get an appointment for my retriever to get a reevaluation to attend again. My dog was approved in “5” minutes but not allowed to stay. There’s where more dogs in one pen then I had ever seen and it was crowed. Another pen had a lot less dogs and look more comfortable. Sadly, Crate Escape has lost me as a customer, and more important as a champion for referrals.
Marnie Klein: The staff at the Crate Escape are unbelievably patient with scheduling and so friendly!!
M. Grace Hinrichs: The best part of my dog’s week is when she gets picked up by the shuttle service. She loves it here.
Jalil Farid: Positive:Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness
Nate Bourgoin: The best doggie daycare
Neil Judell: Great place, awesome daycare and boarding
Scott Kobetis: Best doggie day care around.
Kathryn G: Our two year old doodle is afraid of everything, but he LOVES his time at Crate Escape Too. He races in the door, knowing just what is expected of him. The staff are just great -- organized, kind, friendly to dog and humans alike. Can't say enough good things. This is a small dog daycare -- Crate Escape in Belmont is much bigger -- the size is perfect for our dog.
Wayne Tan: This used to be my go to doggy daycare. Since I've moved out of Cambridge, I occasionally brought my dog here on one off cases. The customer service of the current staff has completely gone off the cliff and they cannot communicate clearly, sending me on multiple hour long commutes between my house and here without letting me know that they wouldn't accept my dog due to their own schedule conflicts. I trusted my dog with their previous employees completely, but unfortunately cannot say the same given my experience recently. I would not recommend this specific Crate Escape location to anyone.
Sarah Flores: I wanted to like this place! Photos from online and initial thoughts walking into the place were all good. Staff at front desk were very friendly as well. That is where the positive ends though.Inside is one large space, dogs are separated by fences, like for backyards, and so it is VERY loud. The staff who came out to bring our dogs in for an evaluation said not one word to us or the dogs. It was very disconcerting. While waiting there we saw them just unleash dogs right inside the door and send them to walk themselves to the right gate. Same for pick up. Dogs just put outside the gate and trusted to walk the halls to the door. Many times there were multiple loose dogs in the hallway, from different groups/rooms. Not a positive experience. We have dealt with a few other doggy daycares before our move to the area and were very surprised peope gave this place good reviews. Needless to say we never went back.
Anu Gopala: The best! My dog has been going there for 5 years and loves it! Friendly staff!
Paige Stewart: My Millie has been going here for 4 plus years. She loves it here...They are very kind to her ....
Justin Sweeney: The best dog daycare around, the staff is fantastic and our dog loves it here!!!
Gaylen Morgan: Crate has been great for all three of my dogs. They feel right at home. The Care givers are careful about the dogs they take and how they care for them. Their van service is a great convenience. I also buy dog food there. Great selection.
Mandy: i am disabled and have never been treated with such inhumanity. in less than 5 minutes they almost seriously injured my little dog, gave me the runaround regarding boarding, and then in the final hour cancelled just as i am about to leave the country for life-saving treatments for an incurable disease. shame on these people. i wouldn't trust them with a specialty breed anyway. the manager never returned my phone call and never offered an apology after admitting they made a mistake (but not owning up to all of them). never again. so disappointed. we had always had such good experiences here before i was disabled.
Tony Lovell: This little place is a local gem we often rely on for "Doggy Day Care". They have a fair assortment of toys and chews and foods, but the thoughtful care the young, attentive workers offer to the dogs (35 pounds and under only, here ... larger allowed at the Belmont location) instils confidence that our dog will find the time exciting and leave her quite tired.Call ahead to make a reservation. They often are booked solid.

Hygge: what do users think?
Edward Mostone: Professional staff
Jared Domínguez: Who let the dogs out?
Ariana: Huge yard, great for active puppers!
Claudia Chaves Villarreal: Best dumplings in town
Jorge I. Sandoval: I'm sorry, but my dog came back with a huge TICK on poor lil tale. I don't know what kind of dogs they have there, but I don't want mine getting limestone disease. You've been warned!
Paul R: Excellent service but I couldn't find the entrance and I think one of the managers barked at me.
Nicholas Wilton: Staff are friendly. Socialism is rampant and unfettered.
Cathy Low: Excellent service. My dog felt very pampered. The only downside is that there is no air conditioning on the first floor which is a bit stiffling during the day.
Emily L: Fantastic space, A+ hosts.
John Aleman: The place has a very fancy door!
Kevin Carney: My pup got a beautiful hot stone massage. It really mellowed her out for the entire week. And her keratin treatment made her fur so soft and shiny she was the envy of all the other dogs at the park.
Laila Wahedi: Warm and friendly. Spot couldn't stop yipping about it for days. High end dog accommodation.
Keith Stern: I've been around a lot of dog hostels in my long life, but never did I imagine a place like hygge hostel for dogs. The food is plentiful, and the politics are progressive. The accommodations are lavish. Each mutt gets a room with a view. I wish I were a dog.
Cat Thu Nguyen Huu: One of the dogs that stay here frequently is a top-class philosopher. He and his minions convinced me to work for the cause of dog-kind. A+ experience, would bring dogs here again.
Kathy Wu: Disappointing. I brought my dog Steven in for reiki therapy but was rejected service on account of their strict No Shirt No Shoes, No Service policy. If you bother coming, make sure your dog is fully clothed.
Hyunjeong Bell: lots of friendly dragons to play with the dogs. they also do reiki for pets here. if your dog's chakras are all messed up make sure you take em here for an energy-balancing petting sesh.

Elliot's House LLC - HQ 1: what do users think?
Angela Cunningham: Tried to reach out by phone and several times over email to see about getting my dog in daycare, but no one has returned my inquiries.
Leanne Dwyer: I was pleased with Elliot's House services at first - the online system was easy to use and the phone Meet & Greet was detailed and professional. However, I scheduled 3 visits - a Friday evening, Saturday morning, and Saturday evening - but no one came on the Saturday evening...One of my cats takes medication in the evening for a heart condition, and luckily he is okay, but I won't be using Elliot's House service again. I can't risk my cat's health.
Ryan Osborne: Excellent service for furry friends! We’ve always received friendly, reliable service for our cat while out of town.
dave di: Too expensive and they mislead their prices
Michelle Barczykowski: My very tired Pepper had a great time boarding with all her doggie friends this week! We love Elliot's House for all their great care and services. Day care has been amazingly helpful to my family. No need to keep her crated up at home for a long day, waiting for a walk because Pepper can spend the day playing instead.
Michael Johnston: This is a picture of a very tired cattle dog and it is very hard to get a cattle dog tired but everyday that she attends daycare at Elliot's House in Somerville, she comes home just like this, TIRED! Every day that we pull up out front, she goes crazy, she loves this place and she loves the people that work here. The staff are such wonderful people and really seem to enjoy the animals and their job. I love the Instagram photos that they post throughout the day and my wife and I love to sit and watch them when we get home and boy do we laugh. So creative. I was really nervous about leaving my pup someplace and checked out a lot of places and am very glad we landed here. If you are out there looking for a quality day care provider for your pup/dog, here it is!!!!!
Turner Smith: We have used Elliot's House for dog walking, grooming, and boarding for years and could not be happier. They are responsible, trustworthy, and so good with our pups. The dogs always come back from boarding exhausted and happy. And Elliot's House has gone above and beyond to help us in other situations, like stopping by to check on things when we were out of town. We would recommend them to anyone we know!
Ali Jackson: Elliot's House goes above and beyond to help their customers! We used them all the time when we lived in Somerville, and missed them when we moved out to the suburbs. We hadn't been to them in a while, but when we were in a last minute bind for boarding, they bent over backwards to help us, taking our dog super last minute and accommodating our pick up drop off requests. Would definitely recommend!
Liz Weiler: Elliot’s House provides dependable and personalized service. I am so happy that we found them when we moved into the city. Our senior pugs have been lovingly care for and Elliot House has accommodated their elderly needs. Highly recommend!!
Lauren Scott: Easy to book, easy to change the schedule; you can access your own calendar at any time to make sure that is accurate. I love this feature.Very reliable and nice walkers (I've met 3 on their team)Thanks Elliot's House!
V Soileau: Elliot's House provided outstanding care to our two fur babies. I received pictures via text with a nice message on how our doggies were doing each day. I will definitely be using their services again.
Jennifer Buynitzky: I've been using Elliott's for a couple of months - since I got my new Bassett hound, Eugene, in December last year. They have been great with daily walks, pet sitting and kennel services. I really appreciate the text messages with a picture on the day's a walker comes to take him out for some exercise. It's wonderful to get those pictures while I'm in crazy meetings at work!
Rebecca Greenblum: Shemish has come out of her shell since she has been a part of Elliot’s house
Cindy S.: I have a bullie who has stayed at Elliot's house twice while we were away. I have nothing but good things to say! Our little potato loves going there and is treated like family! I will continue to use their services.
HH N: Kaito loves being picked up to go to daycare! He looks out the window from the 12th floor for the van... After daycare, we can tell that he has dissipated energy playing with his buds, allowing for him to act very civilized and content when we return home from work. We're happy that he's happy.
Jamster: Personable and very accommodating. Treats pets will, and even sends you pictures during the dog walk!! Love!!
KEMS Com: $140 for pet grooming service on a standard poodle when the quote was $130. Pick up and drop off service I wasn't aware of until the night before. I would have rather dropped him off so I could meet the groomer and see the facilities. My dog is afraid of crates but none of the employees told me he would be created most of the time. He came back looking like a labradoodle and not a standard poodle cut.Would not recommend this grooming service for a large dog. I used the dog walking service and it was ok.
Francisco Diaz: Don't waste your time and money on these incompetent people. My dog went for a "trial boarding" then they tried to charge me and say that my dog was not fit for their program because he dug a hole in their apparently amazing 7000 sq foot outdoor area where dogs can play and be dogs...
Judith M: I've been using Elliot's House since we moved to Somerville in January, and I'm so happy we found them! Their dog walkers are wonderful and my lab, George, absolutely adores them. The dog walkers always send the sweetest text updates (with photos!) - it's so comforting to receive them at work, knowing George is being taken care of and having a blast. The staff is absolutely lovely, and Valerie - who I've corresponded with multiple times, sometimes to cancel dog walks last minute - is incredibly kind and helpful. One of my favorite aspects of Elliot's House is how easy it is to set up a dog walk (or any other service you might need). Once you create an account, you can easily set it up on their website. They even have a calendar set up so you can see who's walking your dog on what day and time.I would highly recommend checking out Elliot House! They're trustworthy, responsive, accommodating - what more do you need?
Misael Phillip: Excellent service. Love These guys. They love my puppy also. I gave them A+++++.Elliot's house is best for walking, boarding, pet sitting and grooming. You can trust Elliot's House for your beloved Pet. Highly recommended...
Julie B: This is the spot! The workers at Elliot House love your pet as their own. This is a multi-service pet place that walks, boards, and just really pampers your pets. All the employees love animals so much and the constant instagram and Facebook updates allow you to feel connected to your fur babies even when they aren't with you. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place.

Big Dog Walkin': what do users think?
Sarah Higgins: Our girl loves going to Big Dog to play with her friends and the great people who look after her. We love how attentive the staff is. It makes my day when the staff sends messages and pics on how our pup's day is going, even if we don't message them first!
Rob H: We have had an amazing run with Big Dog Walk-in’ for 8+ years and counting! Our dog, Finley, absolutely loves going to the shop (at least that what he seems to be telling us), and the team there is so wonderful. The overnights at the shop are an amazing service to cover when we are traveling. Finley seems to be telling us he loves those, too!
Olvina K-S: We have been taking our Pom there ever since we got him and it’s been 5 years now. The only crate free Dog Day Care in closest locations to us I know. They take you dog out every two hours, you can also request a Dog Park Trip for additional cost. However as many places they have a cancellation and late fee policy, which is normal, since there’s no available park trip spots left sometimes. Cinnamon loves coming there! And we are happy he is enjoying it.
Diamond Tigney: Since becoming a client of BDW a year ago, my dog Phife and I have benefited in some of the best ways. I always know he’s safe and having a good time at school because of the great communication and pictures from staff throughout the day. It was obvious to me how much the staff loved and paid close attention to him even as brand new clients. After several months of being happy with the services provided at BDW, I decided that I wanted to experience some of the joy my pup was experiencing everyday by coming on board as a staff member. I love the fact that I get to love on adorable dogs all day. I still leave Phife at daycare and overnight boarding even when I’m not scheduled to work. I can always rest knowing that my little guy is being taken care of by caring people who genuinely love him and all the other dogs.
Ellen E. Thompson: My dog’s face tells you everything you need to know. He loves it, we love it, great communication and photo updates, convenient hours, and reasonable prices (esp. If you buy bulk packages, the credits never expire)BTW if you’re on the fence because of one-star reviews - I took the time to read them all, some are from accounts that only have one star (always suspicious) and some others are coordinated takedowns (from people who have never visited the facility). There are a couple that are worth reading and seem to have merit, but I’m glad I wasn’t scared off by low google ratings. Will update if anything changes but otherwise we are very happy customers!
Jessica Louise: I took my dog here for 5 months and would never recommend it to anyone. Extremely overpriced for what the size & quality of the facility is. They false advertise. When I went for the first time I was told there’s a small dog room and a large dog room. Nope. They don’t even divide the dogs into any groups in any way. Which isn’t too big of a deal if it wasn’t for the fact that the back room is not big at all. And on top of that there are way too many dogs there for how small the room is. They pack so many dogs into a room that’s not an acceptable size with no outdoor area. They also allow (or rather encourage) dogs to go to the bathroom INSIDE and act like it’s ok. Very bad environment if you are training a dog it will reinforce negative/bad behavior that you’re trying to stop. The price for a full day here is higher than GOOD doggy daycares that have massive rooms with outdoor areas. The owner is not nice and doesn’t care about his employees. I have watched more than 6 employees quit within my time going there.
Rob F: BDW is just fantastic. My dog has bad separation anxiety after COVID, but BDW is a comfortable place for him while I'm at work. He really loves some of the staff, and they all seem to really care about their dog clients. I absolutely recommend them.
Ananth Ravi Kumar: Amazing daycare! Our dog loves the place and all the people who work there. Can't recommend them highly enough.
Mark Zak: Our dog has be coming to Big Dog Walkin' since she was a puppy. It's now 1.5 years later, and she still loves going. The team at Big Dog Walkin' know her by name and always provide an update when we pick her up. Their communication is really good and we highly recommend this place.
Mackenzie Halter: Absolutely loving our experience with big dog walkin! After a terrible experience with another doggie daycare (seriously please never think about sending your dog to Elliots House in Sommerville!), Big Dog Walkin was the best find for us. Our dog LOVES it here, is always excited to come, and the staff is so kind and sweet. They knew our dog by name after the first day, called during our first day to give us a pup-date, and have great hours (and weekend hours!!). We send our pup here at least twice a week and he absolutely loves it. Cannot recommend more!
Jack Stallman: Owners of the Lost DogThe morning of April 26th my girlfriend Olivia and I dropped off our year and a half old dog Maya at Big Dog Walkin. I went to pick her up at 1pm and was greeted with “Hi. Uhhh, we have a bit of a situation, Maya has gotten loose. But don’t worry we have people out there right now looking for her!”. This was the first time I was being notified of the incident as I was not contacted when it occurred. I can only assume this is because the staff hoped to find and return her to daycare before I arrived so they could act as if nothing even happened.Upon hearing the news about our missing girl, Olivia and I immediately took to every social media platform, contacted every local authority, animal control, printed and hung fliers over a 5-mile radius, and coordinated a search party of family and friends. What did Big Dog Walkin do? Absolutely nothing. They claimed to have filed a report with the police, but when we called to see if there had been any updates or sightings of Maya no such report had even been filed. The staff said they had been hanging fliers and organizing search parties of their own, but we never saw a single flier or met a single staff member during our search for Maya. Maya was missing for a full 24 hours. She spent the night wandering the streets alone, in the rain, and scared. Olivia and I searched all night for her. Big Dog Walkin stopped “looking” as soon as their last staff member left at 7:15 PM. The only reason we were eventually able to recover her was due to the tremendous support of the Brookline and Brighton communities, our families and friends, and the local police departments. After finally returning home with Maya, we received an “apology” from the owner of the daycare. He blamed Maya for the incident, failed to take any accountability for the sheer uselessness of his staff, and even had the audacity to ask us to come back as customers. Our account with Big Dog Walkin was then deactivated without our knowledge. I have archived my correspondence with the owner and am happy to share it with anyone who is interested. Please feel free to reach out to me directly.Olivia and I had to take Maya to the emergency clinic to treat the injuries she sustained while being lost. Her paws were raw and blistered, and her nails had been ground down to the quick from running for 24 hours straight on the hard concrete sidewalks of Brookline. Did Big Dog Walkin offer to pay the vet bill? No. They did however offer us a free bath and nail trimming. What’s even worse is that this isn’t the first dog they have lost! I beg you, please do not send your dog here. The staff are incompetent, and the owner could not care less about your pet. This is the worst daycare I have ever encountered and the best thing they could do is close their doors to remove any possibility of something like this happening to another dog owner.
Jeff McGloin: Wow! My Maizie girl loves this staff! Very professional, kind and trustworthy. Big dog walkin’ is def the go to place in Boston for your pet! Highly recommend!Sometimes I sit here and think about how I never ever want to leave Maizie girl; I wish I could take her everywhere with me. But then I say Jeff, calm down… there are places that will provide that same loving and caring atmosphere as I do! And we found that place with big dog walkin’. Keep up the great work!
Calvin Cestari: This business should be closed for how they handled losing my friend's dog this week! Imagine going to pick your dog up and being told "Oh, her? Yeah, she got away. We're so sorry!" UNACCEPTABLE! I don't know how these people sleep at night. If you care about your dog do NOT trust them with these people. Irresponsible and shameful.
Karlie Rubin: The worst dog day care of them all! Do not send your dog here! They lost our friends dog and did not report or contact the parents until they showed up! I have heard countless horror stories of dogs getting sick, being mistreated and being left outside during a thunderstorm. They do not care about your dog please do not send your pups here!!!!
James Symes: My pup Buddy loved his stay at Big Dog Walkin! The place was clean and staff was very nice. Will definitely use them again in the future!
Andie Stallman: The worst doggy daycare ive encountered. A dog went missing for 24 hours after it escaped under their care due to reckless and inattentive staff. Horrific and unacceptable. The place should be shut down.
Dany Bassous: Horrible horrible service and day care. Lost my friends dog and handled it poorly and the apology was worse…
Rob Connell: Rude staff, they used a spray bottle on my puppy without my consent. They also told me less than 12 hours before a regular scheduled visit that my 8 month old puppy could no longer attend daycare because he was intact (despite us providing documentation that this was at our veterinarian’s orders). Do NOT send your dog here.
Kelley Klubek: Horrible, terrible, irresponsible place. Do not bring your dog here! They do not care about dogs in the slightest and they should be ashamed of themselves. If you care about your dogs, find another daycare that won’t mistreat/abuse/lose them. Literally any other daycare in Boston would be the better choice.
Holly Spehar: They literally LOST our neighbor's dog while she wasat daycare and did not even contact her parents whenit occurred. They only notified them when they cameto pick her up!!! They also did not help in the searchAT ALL nor did they post anything on their Instagramto elicit community support. While this is by far theworst and most irresponsible thing they've done, it isunfortunately, not the first bad thing I've heard aboutthis place (most notably leaving another neighbor'sdog out in a thunderstorm so he was soaked whenhis parents came to get him). I took my dog thereonce, as a puppy, and something about the place justdidn't sit right with me. I would highly discourage ever sending your dog there.
Jordan Leonard: Big dog walking has been great for my puppy! The staff is so nice and very welcoming! They take such good care of him! Ziggy always comes home tired and happy!
