Nainika s: Not sure what kind of electrolysis is going on here. Spent around $500 and all the hair just grew back after 6 weeks after my last visit and it was about twice as painful as every other electrolysis place I’ve been to. I switched providers and couldn’t be happier. I also always felt unwelcome to be a customer - I had to miss my first appointment due to a work meeting and I paid in full. Shouldn’t have been an issue as they received full funds for the same amount of time and didn’t have to find a replacement client. Second time I had to miss an appointment I tried calling 4 times and got sent to voicemail, and then tried texting a number which apparently is automated only and got a text about how I “habitually missed” appointments. After that I stopped going and all the hair grew back.

Inna Lynn: Image Care refused me treatment because I am transgender.The person who answered the phone when I called told me that they do treat transgender clients, booked an appintment for me, and advised me to pay ahead of time to get a discount. When I arrived the technician excused herself and came back a minute later with the owner. The owner told me that they would not treat me. She said that their refusal to treat transgender patients was because "they might say that are going through these changes but no really be." When I asked her why that should matter to them she informed me that is mattered "because they might attack us." She then told me to leave.

Louise began by evaluating my needs then outling my suggested treatment plan, explaining thoroughly the process. Kim C: Decided to start going to Louise Devin around March 2018. When I came for my first appointment she was very assertive and somewhat dismissive but decided to give them a chance. There were times during my electrolysis treatment she was very forceful holding my face down to perform the electrolysis treatments , but again I continued to ignore these signs as I really wanted to obtain results. Then there was another incident of her canceling my appointment through their online scheduling system, so I rebooked my appointment, which she later said she thought she was canceling another clients appointment with the same name..? Yea sure! Then there was another situation in which Devin canceled my appt again the day before my appointment with little to regard to how much this was an inconvenience. At this point I was upset I had seen her several times and have never given her any issues, in fact all always tried to be friendly, it became clear that Devin has a problem with servicing women of color. So I would suggest to women of color to stay away and not spend our hard earned money on folks that don't deserve it.

I called Camille to set up a consultation and she was very sweet and pointed to charts and everything while explaining the process. Everything she said completely matched what my doctor was saying and I knew I was in good hands. So far electrolysis with Camille is less painful than tweezing or waxing but it also helps she explains what she's about to do and will make small talk with you to distract you from any discomfort. I'm so glad to have found her!
