Shetina: The new manager in family dollar is so rude i had 4 dollars in dimes and he refused to take them i dont care if i came in the store with a hundred penny's he had no right to do that i was hurt i couldn't buy what i needed its called family dollar for a reason and change is acceptable i will be reporting him!! I told him he was rude and he said so I'm the manager and I'm not taking your change.
Evelyn Schau: I like the Family Dollar. It's a great go to spot for health, beauty, kitchen stuff .They even have selection of food and a bit of clothing too . Prices are good. The store is always worth taking a walk through. My last visit I found cute wind chimes.

DONNA VITALI: My experience at the West Roxbury Centre Street branch was not pleasant. Women was on the phone with her friend through the ringing of my order. At the end 115.00 is what I spent. I asked her if she got my 5.00 coupon. She said she did not see it and couldn't do anything about it. She was very rude in front of others and I walked out. They lost a 115.00 sale.

I witnessed him kick out a senior citizen from the store because he left items on the counter to get a forgotten item. He yelled at the man in front of customers and kicked him out. No longer shopping there.

average dayz: I Was told I couldn't shop with my bag. I didn't feel comfortable leaving my fresh baked goods on the floor. Let alone on the front for anyone to step on or take. Your store should provide a place for bags to be held. I think the policy assumes your shoppers are thieves. Its not the greatest message for your business. I am not impressed with the customer service. The clerk was combative and gave the impression he didn't care. He was slumped over the register on his phone. Not the best first impression, as i walking inside the door. I've shopped many times inside this store. I have never been treated so poorly and for him to say he was the assistant manager really surprised me. Such actions would not be approved by management.

The associate ( the African American. ) Was extremely rude, I felt very dissapointed after listened the coments he made about other costumer, was very descrimanatory. When I asked for something he respond in a very nasty way, for a moment he made me feel like he want to have a fisical encounter. I will never go back there. Hopefully the manager staff do something with this individual, other costumer feel the same way I do..

Bou Bouz: Today I visited this location and i will never return again. I'm getting ready for Christmas so I decided to get my gift for my family here. I noticed the toys said buy one get the second half off. So i was thrilled I spent a good 45 minutes looking through the toys and finally made my decision. I went up to the register and the total came to full price I asked for a manger the manger told me that was last week's price and i told him if the sign is up you have to honor it. He had one of the associates remove the sales sign before I went back to check. I was extremely angry and he didn't care he said sorry its not there. One of the worse family dollars I've ever been too maybe 6 workers there and no one knows what they are doing. That manger should be fired he is horrible costumer service and sets a really bad image for the store. I will never ever return there they should be ashamed. I called the district manger he apologized and asked me to return to honor my price but i won't ever be returning. Don't ever go to this store and if you do make sure you take a picture of the sale incase you run into the same encounter I did. They should be ashamed the worst associate messy disorganized store and one of the worse mangers I ever encountered in my life.

Taneshia Chambers: I went here yesterday to reload a prepaid debit card that Ipurchased from family dollar last year which I used to pay my bills. I asked the male cashier at register 3, if I could reload my card. The cashier told me "oh well my manager said we can't do that anymore". I said "excuse me, why can't you reload this card, when clearly family dollar sells these cards" they had a whole bunch of prepaid debit cards for sale at the registers. Then I said "how are you selling these cards to customers, and you can't load them". Then he said " my manager changed the policy on reloading the prepaid debit cards. I know that's a lie, because I've reloaded my card at other family dollars. I will be contacting the corporate office , and the City Of Boston about this location. Because that's false advertising, and you can't offer a product and not complete a service to activate the product which is reloading prepaid debit cards which they sell and advertise which stores etc you can go too. Family dollars is a participating partner with these companies and their refusing to assist customers with items sold at there stores. What makes it worst is this is the first time I've been put the house in 30+ days since knee surgery in March.

The young guy with a ponytail said “ THE MANAGER SAID ITS OKAY TO CLOSE EARLY”Manager: If you want to close the store early please update the store hours online and outside the store.

Breezy G: This is a quick stop hit or miss store. I don't go here very often in the year for this reason because you are more likely to miss than hit. I would not recommend this store if your badly in need of something in particular. I would say for passing time take a stop in and walk around, you'll probably pass on what you see or pickup some sort of nick-nack. I went in for a particular item for my bathrooms (I have purchased at this store before) but it was not there or out of stock. The cashier was not friendly and I felt bad for the one gentlemen stocking alone. It seem as though there was only these two staff in the store besides the few customers.

x. slpv: this place is absolutely disgusting. I usually go buy at this family dollar because it’s more affordable and it’s also near my school. Let me just say, that when you want to go to checkout you have to wait for about 5-10 minutes at most. The employees are so rude, and there’s also boxes around the store too. And let me not get started with this one Arab employee who’s always at the front desk. She is beyond rude, each time I walk inside of family dollar and she checks me out, she just gives me attitude. Like as it was my fault she still works there 🙄. And it’d also be nice of her to probably hand me the bag, instead of me grabbing it from her. If I would give this place a half star review I would’ve!

I find the dollar store here, and in Framingham, to be well-organized, and run by really good people. The goods move quickly, so don't be bothered by others reloading the shelves. The pricing is refreshing.
The Joker: Went here and I swear I was profiled for my age. I’m 14 and I was walking around grabbing snacks. I reached into my bag to count my money and verify I had the money to pay. I walked around a bit more and this women very sternly approaches me. She’s a mixed woman with black hair and tells me that I need to leave. Now I’m with my friend and my first thought was if I was being loud. She tells me that she saw me reaching in my bag while my friend was whispering in my ear. He was, but only because he was messing around like what teens do! So I was given the option to pay for what I had and when I skied if I could just finish what I was looking at she quickly said no now pay. At that point I just wanted to get out. Probably never going back there. Worst part is they lost a good customer.

Winston Biscuit: On Monday 5/21/18 at 6pm my husband and I arrived at family dollar. At the time of our arrival 2 other people arrived too. The woman went to go in and the door was locked. Before any of us were able to react the worked waved us away while yelling we are closed. There were no signs stating that they would be closing early or that they were closed. All the lights were on. My husband asked why they were closed and this set the worker off!! He came storming over to the door unlocked it and starting yelling “ closed go away. Not telling why!” My husband then asked for the mans name and he again yelled” closed. Go away. Not giving name” my husband annoyed at this point then asked again and the man got inches from my husbands face and started screaming while waving his finger in my husbands face “ don’t you talk about my mother no one talks about my mother” we were all a little stunned. While trying to hold in my laughter I explained to the man no one even mentioned his mother. He then started to scream at me. We started to walk away and he opened the door again and said “ ok shop” so I start to walk over and he’s Yelling that I’m on camera and he’s calling the cops. I told him I’m glad it is all on camera so when I come to speak to his manager he will see how his employee treated not 1 but three customers very badly. I will be going in to speak to the manager tomorrow about the pure disrespect of his employee and how extremely unprofessional he was. The other woman there gave us her phone number for the manager to contact her. The manager is a sweetheart but this employee was on another level of rude!

Wendy Sanchez: Customer service here is the worst, twice I’ve come past 8am opening time and the store has been closed. There was an incident where they had placed some items under the wrong price and instead of apologizing they get angry with you like you did something wrong. Terrible customer service.

James Ellis: I brought 2 balloons at 2.13, went to my car and one balloon blew away from the tape, the string was still in my hand. Went back inside, they made me buy another balloon and said it's my fault cause it happened outside. Talk to the manager and he said the same thing. I will never come to that store again or recommend it. Very bad business and customer service....

Vidade Rateau: Normally customer service is distant but a few days ago my daughter and I were disrespected by the manager. We thought we left a bag at the store and approached the manager who was our cashier and asked if we left it there. He rudely said no and said that he would have to check the cameras. He acted like we really drove all the way back to steal $5 worth of productS from him. After he checked the cameras, he said that we owed him an apology. He showed us the footage and told us next time not to waste his time. I get it we made a mistake but his attitude was disrespectful from the very beginning. Color profiling at its finest. Never shopping here again and we reported him to the corporate office.

Darian Lachance: Service dog handlers beware: staff is untrained on ADA-given rights and unpleasant about it. I don't expect much to be done tbh I mean it's a chain dollar store but informing fellow handlers nonetheless to go in mentally prepared for an altercation.

Crow Stevenson: The store itself is fine but it smells so, so bad in here. Like if someone ate three pounds of mothballs and then died. I can’t go in here without feeling like I’m going to throw up because of that sweet, sweet mothball stank. I suggest perhaps wearing a plague mask filled with some nice herbs if you’re going to go in.
Walsh Plumbing Heating & Cooling: 4 stars considering where you are, bring your own bags until at least, May 2022. Good store for dry goods, cleaning products, and construction work clothes. Children under 8 clothes / shoes, any age sleep attire. Occasionally has dairy products. Lately, they rarely have bags for your items. B.y.o.b. You can check the app for coupons. Don't expect much. They have the lowest price as it is.
Alexzander Mercier: Cheap prices and an organized store IS one thing, however mediocre customer service is another. The employees were little help to pointing me out where certain items were because of it. 3 out of 5 at best.

Susan Harris: Unfortunately I would never shop in that store again store number 10253 Lynn Massachusetts receipt and product I was asked to throw and dispose of product I will be contacting manufacturers as well it stained my teeth the counter the sink and the store manager told me the item when I returned for $1.40 refund that the item was not expired and there was nothing he could do to help me he said all of those products stain which is false. Contrary to their Return Policy and having the ORIGINAL STORE RECEIPT. Store manager is not aware of the return policy and is clueless as far as operations are concerned.
