Steven Weinstein: This is the first 1 star revue I have ever writtenThis station lists as having Western Union 24 hrs. I was in Newton at 1 am 20 min away and logically called to be sure this option was definitely available before making the trip over. I tried calling several times with no answer. With very few options to help a friend in distress I took the ride over. They were open alright, and not busy at all. They did not offer Western Union, and the guy was pretty rude about it. I called the number on the website to check it, and it rang in the store. I had originally called 4 times before leaving Newton. The a@@-h%^e working didn’t bother to answer the phone. It would have been nice if he had, saving me time to put towards another option to help my stranded friend.To the owner:This guy costs you a lot of money. No one came to the pumps, before, during or when I was leaving, not more than 1 person in the store at a time either, often zero patrons. For a very well located 24 hour station with reasonable pricing this is quite surprising! You don’t have to work every hour yourself, or put up with this type of customer service that is killing your volume. And we the public don’t have to put up with his callus service either. There are better people out there for another dollar or two an hour, 20 dollars a shift - 25 with taxes. Tough choices ahead for you,And btw fantastic location and designed space. Has a retro feel to it, not shoo-bop, but visually comfortable and understated. A nice oasis. Please send this guy and others like him to the back of a warehouse where they belong. At least until they decide for themselves that it feels better to care about others, and work accordingly. There’s always hope, but I wouldn’t recommend paying the price he is costing you until that day comes.

Barry Duval: Got off of Rt 2 and stopped here to put air in my tire, as I heard noise while driving. Notice that I have a screw hole in my tire. Spoke with Tony, the mechanic, he stopped working on the car he was on and came out, took my tire off and plugged it for me right away. While putting the tire back on, noticed there were bubbles on the back side. He called a local tire shop, got me a new tire and a good price. I was over 50 miles from home and wasn't about to drive home on a tire with bubbles. Tony went out of his way and was incredibly helpful. I would definitely recommend this station.

(For lack of better words.)I'm not going to attempt to hypothesize what the actual operating hours are, so please keep in mind that "Updated 2 weeks ago by owner. " and "Open 24 hours" or "Open 24 /7" on Google Maps, on the same page, may just be wishful thinking or a very big problem, depending on your individual situation.

Jillian Casey: I just got an inspection here today. Everyone that worked here was really friendly and welcoming. The inspection was fast and efficient. The man who I spoke with after my inspection was super helpful. He explained that my car may need a new battery soon, but was not pushy about me getting it done that day or at their location. He gave me tips on the best battery to get and gave me options for where I could get it. He politely answered all of my questions. I will definitely be back to get my battery replaced and for future inspections :)

At least half of the pumps are broken on any given day.They also upcharge on inspection stickers, stating that they have to 'change a lightbulb' and giving you the higher bill without letting you dispute it. From other reviews here, it's clear that this happens regularly.

They charged .03 cent gas $30 snacks. It should be other way around. Now, my credit card company believes that I bought $30 of snacks and 3 cents of gas.

After having some unfortunate situations with other mechanics in the area where I was definitely scammed, a friend recommended I go here and see Nate and his team, and I could not recommend them enough. They have always been so honest and respectful, and I truly feel like they are looking out for the customers best interest - For example, I brought a car in for repairs and was told it would be a lot of money to fix and that it might be best to put this money towards a new car purchase. At first I was willing to just spend the money to fix the car, but they then had an honest conversation with me that it would not be worth it for me and I would most likely have to put in a lot of extra money to maintain the vehicle, and encouraged me to take some time to think about it. They could have easily taken my money, and I am so grateful for their honesty, kindness and advice. Additionally, they have always been so flexible and go above and beyond - Nate even looked at a car I was looking at purchasing and gave me suggestions of what to ask the seller, and Robello (I hope I’m spelling his name correctly!) took the time to help me remove my ski rack!They are all so kind and the best there is!

Sees it was an easy fix and sends me on my way. Service station there has always been great as well. Please stop here if your by fresh pond and need gas or service.

They replaced a headlamp for me which required a large unexpected amount of work and charged me the minimum. It was nice being able to wander off to Whole Foods while my car was getting work. Seemed very odd I only asked for $5- just enough to get home and I can always tell on my car if I put even $5 in the tank on the meter but there was less gas shown on meter and kept going down farther on my drive home and I was not given or offered a receipt.
