Milio G: Nice and quick working people here.Truckers driving 53'ers beware! Make sure to slide your tandems all the way up before starting your route to here. You can only approach the building facing Eastward on Kirkland. You'll have to maneuver through college kids and tight corners to get here facing the right way. They'll load you and unload you within 45 min. But leaving is no easy task, either. Good luck and be prepared to break a few questionable laws when approaching with 40k lbs of dry ice to this place. You'll know you're at the right spot when you're facing the NoTrucks sign next to a No Parking Zone and blocking the fire hydrant from being accessed.

David Blauch: Acme Ice is fantastic! In particular, I worked with Tom, who is extraordinarily helpful in all details. Definitely recommend.

Frank Gillett: I stopped here to pick up dry ice to deal with rats!You find the rat burrow, and put a bunch of dry ice down it then cover it up.Acme sells a 6 pound box of dry ice taped up clothes closed and safe to carry for $17.Skip the ice machine at the corner and go to the little work shed at the back when they are open. They prefer credit card payment and don’t take cash.
L_2: Acme Ice has provided my company with Dry Ice for years. They are always willing to make changes with orders to suit our needs. Very responsive group, friendly and efficient. We recently needed regular ice due to our ice machine going down, and they added it to our regular delivery, NO problem. Would highly recommend them! Thank you for being a wonderful 5 star company!

Misha: Dry ice blocks and crushed drink ice only. The dry ice is no good for a cooler and the other ice is too thin/crushed for anything other than cooling drinks.

He went above and beyond to deliver dry ice to our restaurants in the midst of a very large power outage in the North of Boston. When every other retailer was out of supply, ACME came to our rescue. Mike Rushton: Their business hours are 7am till 5pm Monday through Saturday and 8am till 4pm on Sunday. They have a regular ice dispenser available 24/7. Other than the business hours being consistently wrong/confusing on this listing, they are very helpful and good at what they do.

He is very understanding for our needs for dry ice that we need for my daughters cold caps that prevent hair loss during chemo. Peter M.: Despicable. Completely. Listed open till 6pm. When you call the number for this business no one answers. Then you get a call from someone that assumes you know it is the dry ice company calling back from a different number. I drove 27 miles to come here. The guy on the phone told me they left at 5pm, 6pm is when they close.When asked how much I needed and told him 20lbs he hung up. Apparently one customer buying 20lbs is not enough for him to speak to you. No apologies for wasting your time driving to their business but they closed early. Nothing. Completely disgusted, with how I was treated over the phone. I can only imagine the way they treat people in person. Ever heard that a little kindness goes a long way? Apparently not.
Zach Hirschtritt: Perhaps not the cheapest in town, but for food-grade dry ice open all hours, cannot be beat. They're super fast and friendly and take credit card right in their little booth. Can't ask for much more.

Ariel Brodsky: Michael and Joe are awesome to work with. They delivered way outside of their normal radius for an event that requested (demanded) clear ice. Mike was super quick to respond to any and all my questions, and super communicative about delivery. The ice it self is top notch, super clear, slow to melt, and packed with care. Highly recommend!

b diamond: Wicked Clear Ice is amazing! It’s hard to believe ice could make such a difference in my cocktails. My wife was so kind to order some for Father’s Day. The Old Fashion with Wicked Clear I had before eating brisket cooked on my smoker made it a great day. The clear ice lasts so much longer and has no gas or impurities. My son enjoyed one of the big collins clear cube with a seltzer and lemonade. Oh, and Michael the owner delivered the ice and is Wicked friendly.

Jon Langbert: This was my first visit and the lady helping us, who I think is the owner, was super friendly and patient. Took her time to explain the process, which is a bit involved. Bottom line: I got the sugar-free mint and chocolate with peanut butter on top and it was really good. I never would have known it was sugar-free. 100% I’ll be back.
John Anderson: Came here with my family. Staff was very kind to us. Allergen lists very clearly laid out. My wife and kids enjoyed the regular base and I had the vegan one. We all liked the taste of our ice cream, and it’s always fun watching a little liquid nitrogen floating through the air. Expensive but hey, for a treat, it’s worth it. Would highly recommend!
Jack Ross: Amazing ice cream. It's a little more soft and dense than regular ice cream, it's hard to describe but I highly recommend. I had the Birthday Cake Capacitor with regular cream which was great, strong flavors and the toppings were great too. I highly recommend.
Mike Farkas: My partner and I went in today for the first time. The two employees were very friendly and gave us some history on the shop and chain when we asked. I ordered an Italian ice, which was super refreshing. My partner got a smoothie, which he enjoyed as it was made with real fruit. We will definitely go back soon to try the ice cream!

Christy Dennison: They’re very nice but they use only artificial flavors. I got a strawberry and it tasted like cough syrup. I couldn’t finish it. They are weirdly opaque about their bases (the “vegan” base is “almond milk swirl”. What. Why not just use almond milk). Other places use frozen fruit and normal milk/oatmilk etc. Will not be going back.

Michael Williams: Nothing like messing up something as simple as ice. I will be making sure I don't buy ice where you sell your ice! Ridiculous! It's always either complete blocks of powder/crushed or so solid it's a brick... It's a simple solution... Care about your customers that pay for it. Toooooooo much weight in the freezer from stacking so high and partially melted and then refrozen causes these issues. I know your answer will be generic. However, most likely careless delivery drivers and the push of a product at your clients stores cause this. So, I'll just stop buying your ice... Problem solved

Julie Miguel: OMG incredible customer service!!! I own a resteraunt in RI and my walk in went down on a Sunday . They were the closest place open on a Sunday but it was 11:15 and they close at 12:00. I thought I was 45 minutes away and called, the gentleman that answered the phone agreed to stay an extra 1/2 hour just so I could buy dry ice. Upon mapping it I realized I was an hour and 1/2 away. I called back to thank him and tell him that it wasn't going to work..2 minutes later he calls me with a solution....I got my ice and saved hundreds of dollars of food!!!!!! Roy Young: We had a power outage at our Smokey Bones restaurant in Tyngsboro, MA on the fourth of July holiday weekend. As the Regional Facilities Manager, I called a couple of companies looking for emergency dry ice delivery and got answering machines. Bob at Lake Boone not only answered the phone, he happily delivered 500 pounds of dry ice to Smokey Bones in less than two hours. Above and beyond that, his team set the dry ice throughout three walk-in coolers and a walk-in freezer all for a reasonable price. They really saved the day for us! I wish they were a national company, but I know I can count on them for my restaurants in that area.
