Marc: When asked by a friend how the food was, "Love in a bowl" was the first thing that came to mind.Absolutely incredible.
Tian Zhao: Our first visit since its relocation from Allston. Grilled hokke (atka mackerel) was too salty, and fried beef tongue was a bit overcooked. The others were pretty good. Would recommend fried oysters, chicken namban, and yakitori.
Jiayu Shi: I really enjoyed the food at this restaurant and plan to come back often. However, I've noticed that like some restaurants in Boston, the waiter swipes your card in front of you at checkout and asks you to enter the tip in front of them. The minimum tip amount is set at 18% of the total price after tax, with tipping options of 18%, 20%, and 22%. Personally, I don't appreciate this type of behavior from restaurants and it makes me uncomfortable.
Ryan Wetzel: We've gone out to the new hot spots all over and come to realize, some of the absolute best are the staples that have been around for the long haul. Varied menu from yakitori to sashimi to noodles, you won't find better Japanese food in Boston. Prices are reasonable and solid selection of Japanese beers and sake. Took me 20 years to find this gem and will definitely be back.

Bella Wang: Okonomiyaki was tasty. I’m not a connoisseur but it was satisfying. I’m mostly reviewing this so I can remind myself never to order the sushi again. It’s terrible and not fresh. It came out last because I think they were defrosting it. Rice was soggy and unseasoned too.

C Calm: I used to like this place. Unfortunately last time I was there, while several tables were empty, they didn’t give us a table. The tables weren’t reserved either. They seemed to hope a larger part comes and take them. I really think the waiter was not respectful enough. We left. Lydia Chew: A slightly upscale sushi spot. It's in Kendall Square, so be aware that parking will likely be tough to find.We ordered the veggie gyoza (6 pieces) and agedashi tofu (3 pieces) as appetizers. The gyoza was pan-seared to perfection and just the right level of crispy. It also came with a single cherry tomato, which was interesting. The agedashi tofu was sitting in a boat of sauce but was still a bit plain.We also ordered the volcano maki (4 pieces) and golden gate maki (6 pieces). The presentation on the volcano maki was great; the tobiko and spicy mayo sauce help make it a pretty colorful dish. The flavor is also significantly affected by the spicy mayo. On the other hand, the golden gate maki appears a bit more muted. The salmon wasn't very fatty so it's a bit plain by itself (without sauce), but I thought it was very good when paired with soy sauce and wasabi.Service was fine; I usually make a judgement based on how many times my water is refilled (which was twice here).Pictures were taken after we started eating, but you can see what parts of the dishes look like.

On a Saturday night, I visited, and I was really pleased with everything I tasted, including the meal, beverages, and the professional service. The Such a Diva Martini, Spicy Citrus Fizz, and Strawberry Paloma were the beverages we had—the latter of which was my favorite! We split the Seared Sake Toro, Hot Hamachi Roll, and Regular Sushi for dinner (Seared Salmon Belly). Fresh and excellent food was everywhere. We had the Mochi dessert to end. Jane Hannah: A wonderful, elegant Japanese restaurant is Fuji! Both the Tempura Moriawase and the Shrimp Tempura that I ordered were excellent. The miso soup side dish was also among the best soups I've ever had in Cambridge. Another interesting and excellent alcoholic beverage was the Lychee Sake. Although the prices are a touch high, you will undoubtedly receive a high-quality lunch. A special thanks goes out to the DJ. The retro music enhanced the positive atmosphere.
