Matt White: How has Pammy's not been written up for James Beard yet? Decor 10/10, menu is constantly evolving with fresh takes, and wine pairings continue to impress after 20/30 visits? SpectacularVegetarian options: Lots of good gluten free and veg options on the menu.
Ava French: The bar manager Rob created a fantastic cocktail program hands down.Pammy's is a must-visit restaurant in Cambridge that truly lives up to the hype. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. The decor is chic and contemporary, with an open kitchen that allows you to watch the chefs in action. But it's the food that really steals the show at Pammy's. The menu is a creative blend of Italian and New American cuisine, with each dish crafted with care and attention to detail. The pasta dishes are a standout, with homemade noodles that are perfectly cooked and paired with delicious sauces and toppings. The seafood dishes are also exceptional, with fresh and flavorful ingredients that are expertly prepared. One of the standout features of Pammy's is the friendly and attentive staff. They are always happy to offer recommendations and suggestions, and they truly make you feel like a valued guest. The wine list is also impressive, with a variety of options to suit every taste and budget.Overall, Pammy's is a five-star restaurant that is not to be missed. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and a beautiful atmosphere make it a standout in Cambridge's vibrant dining scene. Whether you're looking for a romantic date spot or a place to celebrate a special occasion, Pammy's is sure to impress.
Laura Botero: Great food, chic vibe, a piece of Italian trattoria in Cambridge.
Gcc C: Fantastic cocktails and food! Friendly bar tender. Busy restaurant but I can see why it's busy!

Isabella Kuhl: I’ll start by saying the ambiance was fantastic. It felt link an intimate dinner party despite being a fairly well sized restaurant. They have a real fireplace that someone came around to stoke. The wait staff was super friendly and attentive and the drinks were fantastic. As for the food, it was mediocre enough that here I am trying to dissuade others from wasting their money. You could tell everything was made with fancy, fresh ingredients but the flavor combinations just didn’t work. It tasted like the owner wanted to justify the $75 per person price tag by just putting together anything expensive they could find. We tried the crudo, kale dish, lumache, venison, short rib, and affogato. A lot of dishes had Asian influences but it honestly just didn’t work. The flavor combinations were so off - we picked apart basically every dish because individually the ingredients were fresh and unique but together it was bizarre and unflattering. I wasn’t amazed with anything; even the affogato (just ice cream and espresso) was mediocre. The ice cream was bland and the espresso was watery. We had a hard time getting through all the dishes both because it was a solid amount of food but mostly because we didn’t want to finish. If you’re curious and have $75 per person to blow, then give it a shot. Otherwise, if you want a fine dining experience that has tasty food that you’ll want to finish every bite, try Uni.
Nolan Shapiro: Amazing food! Pammy’s had been on my list for about a year now, and I’m so glad that I finally checked the box. You could taste the freshness of the food, and I loved the chef’s take on all the dishes— they were familiar but had unique twists. The service was friendly and not overbearing, but I thought the timing of the dishes coming out felt slightly odd. I opted for some of the smaller dishes (scallop crudo, smelt fried oysters, maitakes) and did leave hungry but that’s my own fault :) Our table got every dessert, and each was nice, though my favorite were the chocolate moose cake and apples!! Overall, would definitely recommend and hope to go back soon (and get larger dishes)
Kevin George: Did the prix fixe menu. Good amount of food, solid service, great ambiance. The food was a little too daring for our likes at times but definitely prepared well and displaced nicelyRecommended dishes Lumache …More
Howard Phillips: Wonderful atmosphere, and excellent food with unique variations on Italian and other types, and really friendly service too.Recommended dishes Duck Breast, Pork Milanese, Veal Bruschetta, Lumache …More
Joe R: It was our first time here, and everything was outstanding! Each dish was a masterpiece, and the staff was top notch. I wouldn't hesitate to suggest this place to anyone and everyone. Thank you so much for the amazing experience, we are very much looking forward to our next visit!
Sarah Kaier: Phenomenal.

Bambara Cambridge: what do users think?
michele harper: I had the wings they were great.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
J W G: Had breakfast there, while staying in the hotel. The waitress ignored us for about 10 min though we were the only in the queue waiting to be seated. We decided to take a seat ourselves. After another 10 min the lady who was to clean the tables brought us the menu. Also the cutlery was dirty.
Linda Barlaam: We had a private event at Bambara and we highly recommend. We were seated in a lovely private area of the restaurant. The food was delicious. Shout out to Andres our server for an outstanding job. We started with the wings and calamari. We appreciated that the calamari cooked to perfection with a delicious sauce. The beet salad, salmon and hanger steak were all amazing and the portions were quite large. The creme brulee and chocolate dipped fruit made for lovely ending to what was a terrific meal. We highly recommend this restaurant for your private celebrations!
Brent Stansbury: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Claire Walker: I had 4 meals here. All were great. The menu was restricted due to a staff event the first night, even so, the kitchen made an exception to serve some excellent oysters. Breakfasts were tasty and very generous. I had a classic one day and a salmon bagel the second day. The only thing I would say is that a little more cream cheese would have been good for the bagel. The lobster roll was generous and well cooked. I really liked the hot or cold option.
David Clements Jr.: Great location, and the food was amazingFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Fried Calamari …More
Andrea Perez: Nov 2022, Chef Adam Resnick kindly brought the dish out himself and I proceeded to enjoy one of the most delicious meals of my life! I wish I knew what this dish was called, it was special for charity so I am unable to find it on the menu. Everything we ordered was so yummy! Sauce for the oysters, burger, fries, etc. The tostones were perfect, the sauce was perfect, I wish I could be transported back!
Court Noyes: Bambara is the epitome of approachable 6 Fine Dining with Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, and Peter (our Server) is the best when it comes to amazing expert recommendations and knowledgeable insights into the different dishes on the menu. I highly recommend both the swordfish and the steak and my partner and I both thoroughly enjoyed the oysters and the clam chowder to start.I also want to remind people that oysters are two for $3 between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., and while we did not take advantage of this since we ate later in the evening on Valentine's Day, the oysters were still amazing. Fresh and local from Barnstable! The sides are generous, and we enjoyed the fingerling potatoes delicata squash anymore taking some of the sides home. The food is elevated, customizable and also quite delicious. If you are in the area, whether it be at MIT just across the river in Boston, for passing through the area, I highly recommend asking for Peter at them Bambara restaurant. When you call you may get John, who I believe is one of the managers, and handles everything deftly making all dinner and hotel guests feel welcome.Hot tip: ask for one of the booths! Very romantic if you are looking for that.Drinks are sublime - ask about the Old Fashioned and also the bartender's favorites.Oh and don't skip when it comes to dessert! Creme brulee bananas over a chocolate mousse with oatmeal cookies finished off the evening - elevated presentation and delicious!Don't think twice - just make a reservation or walk in and know you are in for a great night!!Vegetarian options: Many optionsKid-friendliness: The team is ready to assist families.Parking: Parking through Kimpton Marlowe Hotel. $25-$45Wheelchair accessibility: YesDietary restrictions: Every item (as far as I know) can be customized.
Sam Childs: Food was great, and bartender was very friendly – great drinks!
Rosa “Foodie with a boodie” Moniz: Went to Bambara for s Bdy brunch. 21 of us, think they forgot we were coming. Not ready for us at all. Once we sat took 30 mins just to get coffee. Beautiful hotel thoughFood: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Pradeep BN: You get what you pay for? Not here. Got fruits with mold, rude staff, also asked for gluten free bread, got a bread full of gluten
Mary B: What a lovely restaurant! Stopped here on our way to the science museum and didn't regret it. The food was incredible-- you could really tell the head chef and kitchen staff are artists. Everything tasted as good as it looked (which was consistently beautiful). Drinks were good-- highly recommend the pesto arancini, they were mind blowing.
Herm Trepesch: Great vibe
Christopher Lawrence: Great ambiance. Table attendant Katherine was very helpful and welcoming. Great spot to grab a quality breakfast/brunch. Flavors were amazing. Breakfast sandwich and oatmeal were our favorites.
Ezekiel Waisel: Food and service was excellent. Decided to try this place on date night and every option we had was delicious. Ate the hummus plate, pesto arancini, and salmon entree
Silpa Das: Nice place for a team dinner
James Francis: Vegetarian options: Healthy.Parking: Easy valet parking . . Friendly service.
Barbara Shoplock: Close, Convenient and great for that reason. Pasta was wonderful! The rest was just ok...
Christian Hill: Great oysters, salmon with succotash and service - not overpriced at all
Ben Ashman: booth seat was sunken in, piece of vegetable on the seat, table sticky, air control bad on a hot day, soup not good, drink too strong, pasta ok
Andrew and Renee Seaman: The service was really slow and we had to wait 15 minutes to get in and there was only 5 tables full

Brian Garner: The servers are great, the bartenders are amazing (especially Swirvy, Will and Zach). You can order and amazing dish while having a great array of beers at your hand. It’s an amazing atmosphere with good people!
Martin Schumacher: Wir waren im Rahmen einer Veranstaltung im Private Room und hatten ein festes Menü. Das Essen war ziemlich lecker und die Bedienung sehr freundlich.
Latoya Wilson: I enjoyed the salmon sandwich just wish the salmon itself had a little more seasoning.Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Alycia Dell'Orfano: Wanted to make a few post-wedding edits:Never got a follow up from the venue asking for feedback or to pick up remaining items they forgot to give us. I had feedback and would have really appreciated a follow up. In their defense I didn’t follow up again to pick up the items because I live far and was on a long honeymoon/ over it.It was hot in there and the bathroom was not well ventilated. Be sure to discuss this and have fans or see if they updated the ventilation or something. (This was May 2022). No area to breastfeed, my friend was told she needed to go somewhere else or use the bathroom stall. Not everything got put out- super minor detail but write down instructions very specifically and discuss them on wedding prep calls. For example, I added glass hand sanitizer bottles last minute thinking they would put them out on the tables but we never discussed it. This never happened despite writing a note with them) and I never got the bottles. (Nor did I go back again for them). The venue itself got steamy and I shared this and they said there was nothing I can do. I got a bit more direct in my concern with people dancing in the heat (open windows did not help) and suddenly air came on and it cooled off. I was happy about that!Hire a wedding planner in addition to working with them. They were excellent to work with but having an advocate independent from the venue would have been so so helpful. It rained on my wedding so we had to have it to the left of the restaurant under the tent. The tent being there was amazing (no additional cost) however my dress got destroyed along with the veil. There was nothing on the ground protecting it and it had got wet from the rain through the day. It was painful to realize when I got to the top of the aisle, I would have had someone at least hold my veil.Other than that we were happy with the venue, the food was delicious and we had a wonderful wedding - people loved how different the venue was. I would recommend Commonwealth but take some of that feedback into account.Initial review:My fiancé and I had our tasting here and we’re blown away and can’t wait to host our wedding at Commonwealth this spring. The Chef was so sweet, passionate and clearly knows his stuff… very very talented. The general manager and bar tender also were spot on, kind, thoughtful, and genuine. Solid drink selection and the specialty cocktails were soo good. The vibe at Commonwealth is great. It has an upscale but laid back atmosphere and you can tell the staff loves what they do and where they work. Highly recommend! Delicious!
Christopher Fernandes: Excellent cuisine; everything just tastes great. The designated dieter in the group might buy fish at a steakhouse, but not at the Commonwealth! Some restaurants offer unappealing items on their menu because customers order them. Every item on the menu is a hit, similar to a Best Of album. Disclaimer: Don't take my word for it; go have some food and see for yourself that the cool owner and his family are great.
Malcolm Mayfield: I really enjoyed my time here. I went with a group of about 12 and everything went well. It was one of our more fun outings. Everything was great and tasted great. I got the iron steak and it was good and high quality.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Alona K: Visited this bar for an event. Overall, the food was good (especially, chicken bacon ranch flatbread pizza and Buffalo chicken wings), the service was also good (we had a few staff members tending our group), the atmosphere was relaxingFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Mark Karas: Fun spot... loud but expected. Good selection of beverages and whiskeyFood: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Alissa Orr: We are here on a Friday night-no wait and super low key. They had a good variety of cocktails and they were all tasty. We shared a bunch of apps and then ordered some mains too.Everything was well done with good flavor. Fries were crispy. Salads were fresh and crisp. The ravioli was creamy and decadent.
Inian Parthasarathy: Food: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5More
Ben Garfield: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Carla Welechuk Kowski: Great food and fun atmosphere. Service was a touch slow cause we were sitting outside which isn’t full service so we just had to go inside to place orders, which was fine.
Dmitry L: Delicious pastrami sandwich!
DJ Matthew: Great food and drinks. The staff was super friendly and nice.
Kate DiMaio: We were here for a wedding. It made a great venue, the food was delicious and they served some signature cocktails for the bride and groom as well as a good selection of everything else. Staff was helpful and accommodating. Also - they had fun glasses for some drinks!
Eileen Morris: Friendly awesome team working here!
