Tom R: Lovely little shop, my partner is from Mexico and we come here to get our mangonada fix and Oaxaca cheese! Lots of sauces and Latin ingredients.
Ashley Acuna: This is a very small market (2 aisles) that include cleaning supplies, kitchen items, food (dry foods, canned food, chips, snacks and Central American pastries. A lot of items are not priced so chips were between $3-4 and there is a $.20 bag fee.
Timothy Meeker: Totally hidden gem on Harvard Ave, with excellent selection of both shelf stable and refrigerated goods. They cover all of your bases from seldom seen imports of Latin candy & condiments to fresh queso fresco and particularly Honduran cheeses. A great selection of tortillas and similar. The prices are all extremely fair, and the owner was very friendly. The only downside is the produce, a lot of which was overripe or brown - though for the small space and specialty fare I don't really fault them for it. Definitely coming again!

The lady behind the counter pulled the little tip jar and my pound cake box under the plastic partition thing as soon as I said, "hello, I'd like to buy this." I feel very offended, I feel like crying because of this and I might never go back.

Asbeidy “SmallBizLAFoodie” Solano: As a Californian, this place has all the essential Latin American goods. You can get essential spices for Latin American dishes, quick meats to cook, a variety of cheeses, and even a little bit of essential produce (e.g. tomatoes, cilantro, squash, and more). A great place for Latin American snacks and bread too! Being in Boston as a Mexican American made me a little sad until I ran into this place...feels like a little piece of home.

Roxana Garcia Caro: This store is clean, organized, and has a wide range of Latin food. You can also pay with credit card unlike other small Latin stores. I highly recommend it.

Jonathan White: Usually very crowded with long lines. It shouldn’t be hard to add more self-checkout registers… This is simply disrespectful to your customers. If you get anything from the hot bar, it gets plain cold by the time you check out. Moreover, the cashiers are the slowest ones I have seen at a whole foods.

Elias D: Honestly I drive the 10 minutes to this one instead of the Brighton one within waking distance on weekends because I have the privilege of having a car. The reasons being: there is always ample parking, it is never as crowded, there is always more selection of food, they sell wine & beer, and they have a deli worker who really knows how to slice prosciutto well.Prices are typical of whole foods. The store is very clean and the staff always friendly & patient with folks. There are only about 3 self checkout machines here but the wait is never too long.

lucio castilla: Great place to get discs for empanandas LaSalteña!! They were very helpful in the phone giving me the information of which types of discs they had, and in the store to pick the best empananda tapas. Highly recommend!

I’ve seen this place growing from a very small place with limited selections to a full-blown neighborhood market with a variety of goods and services. Tarakaram Gollamudi: Nice variety of stuff available. I needed cheese for pizza went there as it was the only option. The staff helped me pick some cheese which he said very similar to Mozzarella. I highly doubted him but with no option tried his suggestion. The cheese worked very well.They also carry most of the groceries CVS carries and all are cheaper than the CVS next door. They have a lot of options for vegetarians too.

Jocelynn Holland: So I ordered from the app store market and I said 2:00 to 6:00 it is now an hour and a half late I called them up three times in the first two times they put me on hold for 30 minutes to an hour.... The second time when the manager finally picked up I asked him where my order was and he said no one ever picked it up well if no one ever picked it up why didn't you call me or call the company to find out why that's not happening I called them and I live chat and said where is my order and they said that to deliver is going to be on its way find out they never picked it up.... I had to run down to the convenience store just to buy mac and cheese so my kid could eat tonight cuz this groceries for tonight.... I don't suggest anyone ordering from the app... And I think this is the last time I'm going to shop at Star market because I've always had problems with them the one in Porter the seafood guy is extremely rude and doesn't care about cross-contamination.... If my order does not come in tonight's then I'm going to call corporate and talk to them to get my refund my full refund and I'm going to take my business elsewhere to whole foods or stop & shop....

Adam West: Absolutely some of the worst store management I've experienced in the area. No one ever knows what's going on when you ask for help, the produce is often way past it's prime and prices are not competitive. Recommend you find an alternative whenever you can.
