A. Makela: I got a chicken quesadilla for lunch and it was delicious. the chips and salsa were pretty doggone good too! Service was tops, with attention to detail.

Alejandro Nuñez-Jimenez: Delicious and abundant food in a friendly atmosphere with lots to choose from. The best was the table guacamole, prepared in front of you with a fresh avocado and on a volcanic bowl. Steak fajitas were good and great quantity. My friends had tacos that also looked yummy (but, to my taste, a bit less Mexican than the fajitas). I had a michelada which was good but not great. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Prices were fair. There's an outdoor seating area with quite a few spots and many more indoor. Overall, a good, uncomplicated option.Vegetarian options: They have some vegetarian options but not many.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp access.

Martha Gutierrez: As a CA native I had high expectations, Corazón de Frida met them all. From the guacamole to the birria tacos, it was all delicious. The horchata ice cream and churros with cajeta are a must. The margaritas are the real deal. Corazón de Frida is the best Mexican food I’ve had in the Boston area.

Kelly: I came for brunch on an early Saturday, and it was pretty empty. I got the horchata French toast, and it was delicious and very sweet. I was pleasantly surprised, but I think the other items on the menu were a little lackluster. The hash and eggs, and the huevos rancheros weren’t as great. And the abuelita hot chocolate was not authentic at all, it tasted like straight up milk and no chocolate. I think the menu for brunch is quite small, with not much variety.

Mark Miller: Things have changed for the better. We arrived during a slow part of the day. Had the chicharron, soup, and fish tacos. The fish batter was oily, but the flavor was fantastic for everything. So much better than the last time we visited many years ago. Quick friendly service. Jea Kim: Great casual Mexican restaurant with great food and service.Recently came here for dinner after work. Olé seemed like a typical Mexican restaurant, so I initally didn't have high expectations. Yet, most of the menus we ordered were fantastic and the portions were also good for the price.Topped with crispy braised pork belly, chicharron was an excellent bite to start off our meal. The fried fish in the fish tacos was also perfectly crispy, but it would've tasted better with more jicama slaws. Carne asada came out like an American steak with Mexican sides, but this was my favorite of the meal. Not only was the meat very tender, but also the guac and the jalisco salsa added interesting flavors to the meat.Either you're looking for a place for a casual hangout or a delicious Mexican food, I highly recommend trying them out.

Tariro Taruvinga: It's rare that when I have review on Doordash, I look for the page to do further review. This is the first place in America where food is packed with flavor. I ordered the steak burrito and it was amazing. Today I ordered the chicken burrito and churros and it was worth every penny plus. There is so much love packed in the food. I could not recommend enough.

I enjoy their ability to bring to this area, at least to my taste, a welcome attempt in authentic Mexican cuisine. And, beyond this, they are delivering effective Tex-Mex. I am a fan for their ability to deliver this somewhat rare set of products in Boston, and their focus on presentation even at 1 AM.Furthermore, now, I am impressed with their decision to introduce the heat variability. Extra hot is certainly extra hot and flavorful. What a great establishment. Fantastic flautas.

Kylee Christensen: I usually don’t leave reviews, but we had such a poor experience. Firstly we sat a table that was meant for about 12 people and they put another family at the other end (there were only 2 of us-why were we seated there?). The service was really really poor no one came over for 10 minutes, and then when our waitress finally came she dropped waters and left again. The food was not good. My tacos were slimy. What was good was the chips and guac, and my margarita. When we went to pay watch out 20% is already included in the bill so we ended up tipping way more than 20% which our waitress didn’t deserve. I think if you are going here take advantage of the patio chips and guac, and drinks don’t get the food and expect little to no service.

You can’t ever go wrong with their guac it’s the absolute best. Runner up is their chicken torta which is massive and full of flavor & extra crispy. I made sure to call since I am doing a one hour drive to enjoy this traditional drink and called few other places and they said they didn't have it. The guy confirmed it and we drove over and it was raining but we're looking forward to it. When we arrived we ordered our food then when we went to order the drink the same guy who answered the phone said they didn't have it. I said but I just spoke to you and you said you had it and he said sorry not no. He didn't offer to make it or anything else. This is crazy 🤣 it is on the menu they confirmed it on the phone but when I go to order it it is not there. Very disappointed and would not come back just because of the service and not caring or giving out the right information.

Went back to ask for more food and they said it’d be extra. I said but they normally give so much more and they just said ya well they’re smaller now. Felipe’s across the street is better all-around.

Imani Majied: Mex is not a place I would go back to for food. The ceviche had way more liquid than fish. The food fell flat overall. On the other hand, the rooftop vibe is nice and I imagine it’s a great place to watch a game and have a drink with friends. Nice staff too! If you want a good meal, however, the quality of food / drinks isn’t really worth the money.
Phillip Tran: Cocktails are great and reasonably priced but the food was more expensive than it was worth.The corn tortillas of the tacos had an unappealing texture that was somewhat leathery (but you won't know the difference if you're drunk lol).Regardless, the service was great and friendly. Ralph Beentjes: We weren’t expecting to find such a great Mexican here, simply because we weren’t looking. We walked by it and saw the cool bar and then the upstairs rooftop and had to try it out. The sun was great upstairs, excellent service and the food was great. Chips&salsa on point (always our first test!) and the drinks were delicious. We loved it!
Mary Carmona: Had brunch here yesterday for the first time and it probably won't be my last. We were there as soon as it opened(11am) and had our choice of seating. This place has 3 FLOORS y'all! Top floor is a small cute rooftop with a fireplace. Of course we chose to sit up there. I had a margarita(never too early) and huevos rancheros. They were both good. Everyone liked their food. Only thing was service was a little slow. Make sure you have time and patience when you go.
Ben S: I’ve been to Mex a few times but last night was the best because I met Molly who was managing the upstairs. She was doing it all! Celebrating the parties with sparklers, sitting people down, bringing out food, making sure the fire was comfortable for everyone around it…. She made it such a great experience!

Jessica Lee: I came here with a party of seven and sat on the upper level, where multiple people in my party complained of the loud music. The volume was not decreased (which I understand; it was a Saturday night) but what disappointed me was the manager inaccessibility and overall response to those complaints, as little effort was made to accommodate them. One of our dishes with a special instruction was made incorrectly and had to be redone. Besides this, wait time and food/drink quality were standard—nothing above and beyond. I ordered the sushi taco and was neither impressed nor disappointed. Therefore, the higher prices were not worth the overall mediocrity and I probably wouldn't go out of my way to dine here.

Momo Tran: The queso con chorizo was delicious as well as the torta milanesa. If you do not have a great spice tolerance, I would not recommend the torta milanesa since it was really spicy but so delicious. I do not recommend the beef birria tacos though. It was pretty flavorless even with the consume. I would come back but not get the birria tacos again.

My perspective definitely changed when I started to work there on the weekends and started going to the bar. Pay wasn’t great. Training was not clear at all. Also some staff members were inappropriate towards other coworkers, led to them leaving. Also at the bar, staff members could be a bit more eloquent in explaining themselves. Because when you tell someone that you aren’t checking their ID to see if their over 21+ that can be confusing. They rejected to serve me. Thankfully another bartender explained to me how the regulations work and was able to serve me a drink.

Dragan Lazin: Really good food. No complaints about the food. I will say that if you’ve never been here before things appear a bit chaotic. The person taking my order couldn’t understand me very well, and he didn’t let on that there was a language barrier on his side. He just kinda ignored me at some point, so I had to nag.
