Charles Ro Supply Co.: what do users think?
Jane Nehring: Vast selection, good service.
David & Lori Knight: Awesome store, great experience
Eliot Scher: Charles Ro is the BEST dealer going. I have been buying there for twenty five years. Ask for Butch. Totally reliable.
Emma Doyle: Cool store, definitely visit if you're interested in getting started with Lionel Trains.
Jim Frisk: DO NOT BUY FROM CHARLES RO. I made a pre-order from them over a year ago, then canceled shortly afterwards. Much to my surprise, i received an email shipping notification for the order. I responded within minutes saying i had canceled the order and to not ship! About 1-2 days later i got an email response "order already shipped". Then it was shipped to the wrong address. When i finally got the package, i sent it back to CHARLES RO since i did not want it as i had canceled the order months ago. I didnt even open the box. Then CHARLES RO had the nerve to charge me a 15 percent restocking fee for THEIR mistake. AVOID CHARLES RO, they have the WORST customer service. Period.
Michael and Steve: Great variety of train accessories in stock.
chandler jeremiah: Great place, large selection to pick from.
Rob Fournier: Absolutely incredible store. We were flying out of Boston later in the day and stopped by on our way to the airport. The layout was not running as it was a weekday but when they heard we were from out of town they invited us upstairs and started the layout for my kids to watch. Great people and a selection that was unbelievable. They had great prices and a lot of stuff you usually only see in a catalog!
Dan calidonna: Love this store staff is friendly
Maksim Miano: I like tren
Mbta Ghost: Brought an engine in for repair and they lost it…..
Karl Wagner: Great slections lots of items instock
Aleksey Magno: I happen to go into this store finally after discovering it online and it is one of the greatest model train stores ever. Amazing selection of g scale trains from USA trains and some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Definitely going back and I am telling everyone that I know who is into model trains about it
Emil Cepeda: Absolutely wonderful experience here! If you are a model railroad enthusiast this is the place to buy your stuff from. I have attached a few pictures of what I purchased but while I was browsing the employees were kind enough to take various things out of the display cases and run them on a small bit of demo track for me as I was looking around. They were all very friendly and answered any questions that I had! The price for the entire set was below what bachmann themselves recommended per the book that they gave to me said which reassured me that I paid a very competitive price for this! Definitely recommend!!
frubes frubes: Largest electric train store in America. Staffed by friendly and knowledgeable staff. When Uncle Charlie passed away, he left his self-made tribute to the American success story on good hands.
Sheila Wood: I have been wanting to come here for a while, the most enticing thing was the size of the building and the fact that a lot of reviews said it was an awesome selection of all gauges. It wasnt a poor experience, just a disappointing one. When we arrived there were a decent amount of cars in the parking lot, so i was expecting a lot more than what we actually got. It might be the largest train hobby shop building, but that is where the size stops. There is this massive old brick building in fron of you, and it looks nice, i already knew the second floor was for a big layout based on the customer reviews but most said it was closed, so i wasnt going to bother with the second floor. You walk up to the door and are immediately greeted with a long list of instructions, no bags of any kind in the store, any bags must be checked at the counter when you go in and are subject to search, no bathrooms, no strollers, its a rather unfriendly and uninviting sign. I had a backpack bag so i went back and put it in the car, not that big of a deal but still felt like they didnt want anyone in the store. You walk into a foyer, and there are a few glass cases with trains and such, you enter the store through the door on your right. and thats where the big disappointment came. I was expecting a sprawling store with HO on one side, A big lionel section in the middle and the other scales and paints and buildings and scenery, little bags with replacement parts on the other side, all the things you would expect to see in a place that says largest train store. It was nothing like that. the store is only 1/3 of the space inside. The rest is inventory and shipping. The HO section was not very large and had run of the mill engines and rolling stock, if you are like us, we like the hobby shops because you never know what little gem you might find, but the HO stock was very lack luster. The Lionel section seemed small, and there was no N scale section at all, much unlike the reviews that claim they have a huge selectio of ALL gauges. The inside was nice and very clean, but gave off the vibe of more a retail chain store rather than a hobby shop. No one greeted us at all when we walked in or asked us if we needed any help while we were looking. There are more class cases inside along with the other stuff, and the only time an employee talked to us was when we were looking at diecast cars in the glass case by the exit door, and that was just to tell us we could open the case. They have a small section of Thomas the Tank, which seemed really expensive for a kids toy, but I cant judge that because I don't know what the going rate is currently on Thomas and his friends. Unless you like only Lionel, Thomas and run of the mill HO, it's not worth the trip. when we went outside there were more cars in the lot than when we arrived but Im not sure where all the people were because the store was empty besides the 1 person checking out when we first walked in. The hobby shop that we were in right before going to Charles Ro, while building size was quite a bit smaller, they had exactly what you would envision an HO hobby shop would have, they had a massive selection that just blew away the largest in America. The only thing I can say is I feel like most of the reviews, the store website and the size if the building set up the high expectation of my jaw dropping when I walked in the door. Very very disappointed.
Noel Heath: Best train store in Middlex County of Massachusetts
Jonathan Woodward: Excellent selection!
renee vee: Finally had a chance to stop by with my 4 year old son. The staff is very friendly and incredibly helpful. The trains above weren’t running and they kindly turned them on for my little one to enjoy. The display on the 2nd floor wasn’t up and running, but it was still an incredible sight to behold. Prices are also really good compared to other hobby/collectors shops.
Kale LeBlanc: Big store, tons of stock.
John Fraser: My preordered item was shipped before they announced its availability and in my hands a day or two afterwards.

Henry Bear's Park: what do users think?
Lanna Krik: Visited on May 12 for the first time, the gentleman and woman were very sweet, respectful and helpful. Will definitely be doing my Christmas shopping here
Leah Klein: Our favourite toy store. Great for ages 0 - 10 ish. They have Lego, dolls, books, science toys, art activities, stuffed animals, board games and more.
Sarah Costello: Stopped here for a birthday gift for a toddler. Easily found everything I needed! Lots of puzzles, too.
Robin Abdallah-Doukkara: Friendly knowledgeable staff.Great toys!
Ebony Morrison: Love this place...and the staff phenomenal spirits.
Amy Piepgrass: Great customer service and high quality toys!
Stacy Wint: Henry Bear's is still a cool place to get toys and games that can be educational or just plain fun. The staff is really nice too. Ad their target audience always finds new tthing to tell me I need/want to buy.
Julie Kingsbury: Amazing array of toys and children's decor.
Christine Ruest: Very helpful staff ! Will help you pick out a special gift age appropriate. LOTS OF FUN UNIQUE GIFT for children of all ages!
Steph S: We support this location especially for their friendly attitudes. The Arlington location not so much. They do have a variety here, we buy a game from time to time and although they do have legos it’s a little bit more pricey than getting form the Lego store. We enjoy their other selections in the store though, something for everyone
Grant Barber: It's great!!! Legos, playmobil, stuffed animals, books, unique games. Just as nearby Porter Square books survived and thrived as an indie store attuned to neighborhood even w Amazon, Barnes and Noble, so too this wonderfully stocked children's toy+ store has well outlasted the big box toy stores. This location part of a small "chain" of at least 3 other locations in the wider area.
Melinda Sudbury: Lots of awesome stuff. And there stuff for you kid to play with while you shop
Linda Geehan: Different toys and is great.
Kate Owen: Interactive store with amazing staff.
Nicola Lamberto: Ottimo negozio. Trovi giocattoli di ogni tipologia. Saletta attrezzata per i bimbi.
sean guerin: great old fashioned store
Lydia Jane Graeff: Great selection of new and old toys, games, and puzzles.
Ivy Mom: This is a review for the children’s earrings only:Buyer’s beware! These earrings are NOT correctly made. I bought 2 pairs and was gifted 3 pairs— the earrings are not sized correctly to fit any standard earring backs. On 1/2 the pairs, when I removed the rubber stoppers kept on for display purposes, the earring backs that came with the earrings slid right off!! I bought these earrings during a vacation in Cambridge, and I cannot return them as I live in a different state. I was really dissapointed that half of the pairs were completely unusable. The other half do not fit a standard back and the back they come with is quite loose. Of the 5, only one pair survived. A total rip off. I recommend you avoid at all costs!!!
R Hargrow: Went to Star Market and Michael's in that mall.
Liz Harrow: great selection, friendly staff, but 16% more expensive on two items i bought-- one of them cheaper at the bookstore adjacent!
Bernie Moran: Great store. So many options and the store is set up beautifully. Great energy and the young lady wrapped the two gifts so quickly, I was back in my car(parking was also a plus in this urban retail location-really convenient) in no time. This is why TRU did not survive and why AMAZON is not the only answer. SERVICE and SELECTION - Henry Bear's Park understands. Thank you!

Henry Bear's Park: what do users think?
Susan Murphy: Great selection of toys for all ages
Badr Tejado: Very friendly and helpful staff, great variety of toys including puzzles, outdoor toys. You can find toys for all ages here, including STEM/educational toys. There is also a wide variety of Lego sets with different price ranges, perfect for last minute birthday gifts. Finally, there is plenty of parking around.
Lanna Krik: Cute little toy store, great prices
Frank Taylor: well organized fire all ages
Mary Harper: Great selection of children's toys
Peter Ph: Large inventory, very helpful staff, not inexpensive but worth it.
Bjorn: Quick service, lots of choices. Shop local, especially for toys.
Max Baxter: Great selection for the size of the place while avoiding feeling cramped, prices are competitive, staff is helpful and friendly, and their website is helpful for checking what's actually in stock. It's also refreshing to see a brick and mortar toy store that doesn't share 90% of their stock with other stores (like seasonal mall pop ups). Highly recommend coming by, these places deserve your business more than the competition.
Bill Wise: Great neighborhood toy store. Nice staff. Wrapped and sent my gift. Easy transaction.
Fernando Corado: a little to expensive but good cuality toy
Brian: great toy shop been in existence for 40 years..there aren't too many of these toy shops around
Julia Kast: Going to this store for my children is like a trip to a wonderland. Large assortment of toys, everything is so bright and attractive. The toys are of high quality, the service is excellent.
Hilary Luderer: This is a great toy store. They have a nice selection of toys, knowledgeable and friendly staff.
Bill C: Amazing staff and great selection. You can ask any staff for a recommendation and get an A+ gift. They make it too easy - and they’re so nice doing it.
Linda: This store has a variety of small toys, big toys. It was great just to walk around and buy a few things.
Melanie Blower: Great selection of toys and books
Caroline Cardarelli: Great selection, friendly staff!
Cat Cat: Good toy store with all the great toys. Expensive but that’s what these toys are costing everywhere. Lots of fun things for all ages.
H BT: Great selection. Everyone is so friendly.
Steph S: Great selection and a tad bigger than the Cambridge location but we don’t like the attitudes of the people in the Arlington location which seems to be a thing in Arlington itself for some reason. Won’t be going here anymore but we will go to the Cambridge one as their service is friendly over there
Lynne Caron: Always find something different from your average store. A bit pricey but i will say they have a great rewards program!!
