Nanako Yano: Really unfortunate that quality has seriously deteriorated since I last ate here in 2018. We got take out and they missed one order and the tandoori chicken was tough and inedible (it used to be so tender and juicy). M Marouan: I love the food, but don’t expect reasonable portions from the vegetarian menu. This is my 3rd time ordering. The containers are filled with nothing but gravy and very few vegetables at the bottom. There were about 3 pieces of potatoes in my aloo mattur and the chickpeas curry was only gravy with a few chickpeas at the bottom.Vegetarian options: Only gravy, hardly any vegetables. Not worth the price.
D. C.: This name of this place is misleading as neither the staff nor the food is actually Punjabi. We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb Kebobs. CTM was watery and bland, and and the Lamb Kebobs were stale and tasteless.The place is disorganized and unappealing now. It used to be amazing, but the management has changed hands and it shows. Will not be returning here.They do provide a decent quantity of food for the money, so it could be good for students.

Milan Parikh: Honestly very overpriced for the portion sizes and not as flavorful as I'd expect. The naan was flat and crispy/crumbly rather than fluffy and soft, and the malai kofta portion was just 2 small kofta in a rather mild flavored sauce. There's other options in the area that are quite a bit better.

Rakesh Khandelwal: Big menu with many vegetarian and non-vegetarian choices, and decent decor. Ordinary wine selection. They have cocktail menu as well.While menu suggested authentic north Indian food, it tasted very ordinary, below average. Ordinary enough not worth trying again, especially at the menu price. We had vegetarian food only, don't know about taste for chicken, mutton and/or other non-vegetarian options.
Valeria Fasolo: The food was excellent, although the veg pakora came out cold and did not taste fresh. I had the Baingan Patiala Masala, it was my first time trying that dish and it's now one of my favorite indian foods; it was flavourful and nutty at the same time, and the eggplants were creamy, almost silky! My friend and I only had to wait 5 minutes to be seated without a reservation on a Saturday night, which was great as we were both extremely hungry. The service was excellent, the waiter was polite, and he didn't make us feel rushed. I got to eating it and begin picking out more and more bones of varying sizes, ranging from pea-sized and egg-size. Very off-putting when you don’t expect it… flavor was amazing though. I’d recommend this restaurant, but stay away from the goat. A coworker shared a similar experience getting the same dish.

I was particularly disappointed with chicken vindaloo, which I ordered at medium spicy, but it was not spicy at all. Masala tea was alright, not the best I've had. Overall, I found the food to be alright, but nothing special. I don't think I'll be returning to this restaurant anytime soon.

Ashwin Swaminathan: What a place! I can’t even imagine how its possible to concoct such inedible food. We were unfortunately greeted by a tasteless bowl of water that we were later told was actually supposed to be sambhar. We ordered the vegetarian thali with shahi paneer and malai kofta. Indian food is known worldwide for its spicy fragrant complexity, but this restaurant seems to have replaced all these spices with sugar. Every savory item was somehow oddly sweet, yet the iced masala chai, which should have been sweet, had no sugar in it whatsoever. Aside from this, the dosa was tiny, the rice was undercooked, and an hour after eating here our stomachs grumbled with sickness. The samosa chaat was decent. Overall do not recommend 0/10

It was listed as $5 for a $15 value. I wouldn't pay $15 for what you see in the picture, but the $5 price was more than decent. I was really excited for the daal in particular, and it was quite excellent. The naan was also really good, especially hot and fresh on a cold winter day!Vegetarian options: lots of vegetarian options

Jeff Klein: Best Indian buffets in Cambridge, and that's saying something around here! The buffet has four vegetarian options (usually a combination saag paneer, korma, aloo gobi, matar paneer, yellow dal), three chicken dishes, naan and pakora. There's also excellent chutneys, raita, and salad. The best part is the rice pudding, which is without question the best I've tasted.Vegetarian options: Always more veggie options than meat, and an excellent variety.
