Life Alive Organic Cafe: what do users think?
Sadira Persaud: A couple of weeks ago my boyfriend and I came to this location (we usually go to the Salem location but were in the city). At the Salem location, I have ordered the Romantic wrap without broccoli, and the staff there have never had an issue with this. We get to the counter to order, and I ask for a Romantic wrap without broccoli. The male employee takes it upon himself to tell me he has an “issue” with that. Seriously. He goes on to tell me that without the broccoli, the romantic wrap would not really be a “wrap.” He tells me I can get a quesadilla instead of I want. As someone who is not confrontational, I feel bullied and just order the wrap with broccoli. Fast forward to my boyfriend and I getting our food at our table- this wrap is basically 95% broccoli. I use a fork to pick some broccoli out of the wrap, and this same male employee is essentially hovering around the area of our table. Never have I ever felt so uncomfortable in a restaurant setting. As someone who has worked in retail for close to a decade, I get the stressors and difficulties of working in the service industry. However, I am a customer, and I deserve to get what I order regardless of others’ opinions, and I definitely deserve not to feel so uncomfortable while trying to have a meal. Also, this worker had the audacity to approach me when my boyfriend and I were leaving the restaurant to tell me he hoped I enjoyed my stay- I’m sorry, what?!I should add, however, that all other employees at this location were lovely.
Gio Mgaloblishvili: The food is not very good, seems like they got the vegetables from a can and put them in the microwave with store bought sauce. I got teriyaki tofu bowl and it was super high in sugar and processed ingredients, tofu was not seasoned it just had teriyaki sauce poured on.
Jenifer Giaretta: They have the best food in a very attractive way, with all this clean air with the all adorable plants, and the kindness of everyone over there.
Allison Hughes: Best restaurant in the world. And THIS location is THE BEST one in Cambridge. (The Lowell location is the best overall but central square location is a close second). Highly recommend!
Zachary Chaves: This place lost a lot of its warm boho vibe through covid. Has a more modern feel now. But the price of food is exceptional for this area. So I am glad to see its maintaining that level of access.I like eating outside and if its nice out someone may ask you for money. It happen to us. But in one way I kind of prefer this as it reminds me of Pushkar. Recommended as places like this are not to common in this area.Vegetarian options: knowledgable about veganism and can accomidate special diet requests
Rudolf Reiter: Best food in Cambridge!
Dan O: They made healthy food taste great. I got the breakfast hash and Elvis smoothie. Hash was really good, and smoothie was decent.
josette cochrane-lusk: The staff is incredibly helpful and kind. The food was delicious. I'm so happy we decided to stop by and try this place.Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian food.

Ma General: Best golden milk latter i ever had made by Lucas
Andrew Sauber: Recommended dishes Buddha BowlMore
Derek Yeung: Food: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
N Neil: This is a hard review to write because I feel like the food quality depends on who is working that day, and what time you go in.When it was good, it was so good, and I was super happy. I got a salad, a bowl, kombucha, some pressed drinks for later, a smoothie. It was amazing. I grabbed my meals for the day at one place, and the food was delicious. I came back two more times. The first two times I came by in the morning. The 3rd time was a different time of day, more busy around the lunch rush and different staff were working. The 3rd time the food was definitely not good, nor was my house made kombucha. I had liked the kombucha so much the second time I was there that I bought a entire bottle instead of just a cup.The 3rd time everything was off and did not taste as good. Only 1 of the salads tasted fine.I would recommend going in the morning and during off peak hours and you may have better luck. Because when it is good, it is great, but when it is not, you will end up seriously disappointed.
Sanjana Shetty: I have been to this Life Alice at least 5 times in just 2 weeks. The staff here are not bad. I always go there mostly for their turmeric latte. The spices in the latte always helps me clear my sore throat and of course it tastes amazing.
Michael Stratton (Stratt): Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes WrapMore
Aaron Atevalu: I love the decor and ambiance of this place. Stopped here for Brunch and they have so many delicious plant based recipes. Please give them a try!
Bernard van Tonder: Life Alive's are the best restaurants in the world in experience, atmosphere, flavours, ethics, health, sustainability and value.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Swami Bowl …More
Gabriel De Jesus Alves Dos Santos: What a wonderful experience it was! The food and the service is totally amazing.

Life Alive Organic Cafe: what do users think?
Elisabeth S: I could eat the Greek Tahini Salad every single day. Delicious.
Nicki Lanina: Nice people, nice food, nice service. Good quality ingredients, you actually feel better after eating their food! The go green juice is very and refreshing.
Wendy L: Was here for the first time for s post yoga workout meal (studio is downstairs) I had the Greek Tahini except I asked to hold the olives but added avocado and WOW!!! This salad was absolutely delicious! I also loved their Blue Magic drink, so refreshing! Unfortunately I don’t have any pictures but I promise you will enjoy their healthy eats!
Rudolf Reiter: I was half way through the salad thinking to chew on some spices or salt, until I found out the salat was completely dirty and full of little stones. So, I completely crushed my teeth and who knows what else was in that dirt coated dish.
Kira Pilat: Wow! I am visiting from out of state and I think this is the best restaurant in the world! We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner with you at your Holland Street location! Thank you so much! I can't wait to come back to Cambridge so that I can eat at Life Alive!
Jessica Lee: The menu is on the more expensive side but creative and exquisite. Note that the wait is a bit long during meal times, even for just a drink. I have only dined here when using coupons and have never felt the urge to spend my own money on their dishes, but I have never been disappointed with what I’ve received.
Blakesley: Delicious
Jared Domínguez: Service sucks at this location. I just waited 45 minutes for a pickup order of a tofu teriyaki wrap, coffee and smoothie. The drinks themselves took half an hour. Eventually it was learned that they lost the food part of the order. When I finally got my food, the tofu teriyaki wrap had two small chunks of tofu and that's it.Food: 5/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Danostories: Excellent service 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Marisa Bell-Metereau: Yesterday I placed a to go order for Green Goddess Bowl with Brussels sprouts ($2 extra) around lunch time from the Harvard Square location. When I got home and opened up my lunch to eat, I noticed that there were a total of five Brussels sprouts halved in my salad, for the cost of $2 extra. Surely Life Alive doesn't charge $0.50 per sprout? I'm not a big person but was left hungry after my $15 lunch. I used to be a big fan but lately it doesn't really seem worth the cost.
Julie F C: Used to be my favorite Life Alive location. They were the most consistent with food portions & taste but I won't eat here anymore for a couple different reasons. #1) They leave key ingredients out of bowls on a very regular basis. Every time I go my bowl is missing either the ginger tamari sauce, micrograms (almost every time!) and even on one occasion beets..which they said they were out of. It is very frustrating because the bowls are expensive & there is NOWHERE to park to even go back in & address the situation. #2) Cooks obviously don't use hairnets as I've found long hairs on my bowl on more than one occasion. Makes me wonder about how sanitary the kitchens there are..
Hitesh Verma: Good varieties of bowl and smoothies. One of the best vegetarian friendly place with artistic interiors.Vegetarian options: Best vegan restaurant with variety of options
Angela Brady: So good and such a cute place. Food was so flavorful and didn’t leave you feeling heavy. The seating options were awesome, especially downstairs. Super nice staff as well. Only thing that could use some work is the bathrooms.Recommended dishes Thai Peanut Sutra, Forbidden Kale Salad, Spring Falafel Bowl …More
Mila Djordjevic: This cafe is supposed to organic but the bananas they’re putting into my smoothie very clearly are not organic. Is anything here organic?
Cristina Rivera: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Living Caesar Salad, Thai Peanut Sutra, Rainbow Bowl, Buddha Bowl, Green Goddess, Forbidden Kale Salad, Spring Falafel BowlMore
Emily Johnson: Healthy, fresh food and the price is right. I wouldn't plan on eating in-person at this location because there is not a lot of seating and it is typically pretty full.
Sukran Dinc: It is a cute and comfortable place, I felt welcomed. Coffee and avocado chocolate mousse were delicious.
Mihir Trivedi: Everything vegetarian 😍 Very first café I’ve been to where I don’t have to filter vegetarian options. Loved these spicy peanut noodles and cashew cauliflower soup. Absolutely loved this place. Chef’s kiss for these delicious noodles.
Kenn Soendergaard (RealLifeDad): In combination with a yoga studio and they actually pull that off very well !Really enjoyed it and I will be visiting this and possibly other locations.Coffee Nerd approved 🤓Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Seth Gertz-Billingsley: Very average. I would return if a friend wanted to go. Ok prices, ok food. If you like earthy, vegan-esque cuisine you will feel quite at home. Service was good not great. Exceptionally busy.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and vegan food.

Nüssli118: what do users think?
Pam Pam: Good expensive healthy snacks, website and google says they are opened but they are closed.
Courtney DeAngelis: Angela has been such a pleasure to work with on multiple projects as my team & I created custom gift boxes to include a special, healthy, local treat from Nussli118! We were honored to be able to support this small, local, minority owned business and were lucky enough to sample so many delicious treats provided by Angela! I would highly recommend :)
Cristian Camarena: The food is fresh, the ingredients are simple and she has a light touch for raw vegan cuisine, great balance of nuts, mushrooms and protein.Awesome vegan snacks. Cashew cream is dynamite and the superfood blends are totally worth it if you didn’t want to source all the materials. Super high quality product. If you’re in that part of town, stop on by. A bright spot on Mass Ave.
Amanda Kuczmiec: This is a great stop for tasty snacks and gifts!
Rani Wise: Probably like many others, I found myself snacking all the time now that COVID-19 has us home 24/7, so I was in search of some healthy snacks made locally that I could have delivered to my home. So thrilled I thought of Nüssli118. I had previously attended a vegan dinner at her retail location in Cambridge and loved it.I wanted to try everything so I ordered the gluten-free bites (ginger spice and pumpkin spice), her sprouted nut clusters, ginger lemon squares, and her new vanilla spice overnight oats. The gluten-free bites satisfies my cookie cravings without the sugar crash. The nut clusters were awesome, I couldn’t decide if I liked the maple or salted caramel flavors best so I found myself alternating. They were the perfect late night snack. But the winner was the overnight oats- YUM. It was super easy to make- just add a cup of milk (we did unsweetened almond milk) in a jar, toss them in the fridge and voila- you’ve got breakfast with no effort. If you’re looking for healthy snacks while we aren’t able to go to the gym and you want to support a small business, this is the place to order. All of her products are gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan. Even though I’m not a vegan, I love to eat raw foods because they give me energy without the crash or late night cravings. Highly recommend you try everything at first because it’s all unexpected and delicious.
Joel Bernstein: This place is awesome and when I get a minute I'm going back to get more. The items they sell are fantastic and the owners just great people.
ellen murphy: Amazing shop, the food is made with integrity and love. No sugar, no gluten, no GMO all grains hand-milled and everything is delicious.
Werner Hofmann: In the vast landscape of sugar loaded baked goods Nüssli118 is welcome oasis of incredibly tasty treats. Always with raw organic ingredients and prepared in small batches all their products are some of the best food you can get! My personal favorites are the „everything crackers“, the „super dark chocolate rounds“, the „chia pudding“, and the various torts, as well as the newest addition: the baked chocolate and pumpkin bites (toss up, both delicious).

It seems like everything is vegan, and absolutely delicious. The food was very filling. All four of us had bowls, and I indulged in a butternut squash soup (sooooo sweet and rich!). Alanna Backx: Shrinkflation is real. I’ve ordered from here many times before for take out and dine in. I usually get the same things and I always expect a wait but I deal with it because the food is generally good. But today I got a scaled down version of the shiitake udon noodle soup. There was exactly 1 shiitake in there, cut into small pieces, and everything else seemed to be scaled down. Photo for reference. The wait was preventing me from returning often (Cava, etc nearby are way faster) but paying $14 with tax and tip for this is sad.

Rosa Zhang (ramblingrosa): i’m vegetarian and have previously been here for Más Veggies. I really liked the tacos so I tried the harvest bowl. very mid, i felt like the flavors did not blend. i’ve made vegan mac & cheese before and it was not this bland. Tempeh was too salty.idk I think this place has to do a lot better to compete with the Sweetgreens down the road. Come for Mas Veggies tacos, pass on the bowls.

Robyn Boyland: We came near close and I think there was a bit of a misunderstanding that I was interested in ordering, but it did take several minutes for our order to be taken despite being the only ones in line. After a decent wait, we got our food. The Beyond burger's distinct taste was discernable, so I would've preferred the burger to have more flavor/seasoning to cover that taste up, but I suppose that's what I get for ordering the most basic burger on the menu. The fries were nice and crispy, pretty standard. You get a choice of ketchup or chipotle sauce on the side. I went with the chipotle, and it was rather runny, but made for a creamy, mildly flavored dip. Great place to go if you're vegan/vegetarian/plant-based, want to limit your meat consumption, or just want to try something new. Since we came near close, they threw in a cookie free of charge!Vegetarian options: All of it
Heavenly Child: I love Veggie Grill! Thank you for being an all-vegan restaurant. I've tried many items on the menu as well as your sister store Más Veggies Vegan Taqueria and they were all tasty. Thank you for being cost friendly as well! Especially for being in the Boston area. Will note some of my current favorites. Katsu sliders, BLT Avocado croissant, Nashville Hot Sliders, and the loaded burrito from Mas Veggies. Also, worth noting that the staff members are nice!

Pam Agnes: You guys ! As a recent vegan I tried this place out w. My besty and it was amazziiiinnggg !! First off they have SO many yummy options on their menu (turn a burrito into a bowl !? Yes pleaseee)We had their smokey mushroom asada & carne asada burrito that was made into a bowl ! Nachos, and carrot cake, ALL PLANT BASED, everything, I mean everything was DELICIOUS. The boss or manager, Manuel, was super friendly and informative (as a new veganer 🌱), he even came around the very clean dining room and gave us samples of their buffalo chikn’… bombbbb ☺️The staff was super attentive too, I wanted to stay for dinner Will be back, and getting the app !
Santa E. M: 🌱🌞 Came here to try vegan food, and OMG I was blown away by the flavors especially bc it was plant based menu! I thought vegan food was less dense in spices bc they’re so “limited” but OMG this place made me think otherwise. The manager or owner was a delight. Very amiable and informative. Oh yeah they also have weekly bogo specials! Complete gem for plant based eaters and vegans. They even came around giving samples of food Buffalo chick’n. Nothing was overly sweetened or overly seasoned, it was just right, totally coming back here again 💕🌱Their tofu inspired carrot cake was very yummy especially bc it was vegan. I wasn’t expecting such similar flavors 🥕 🍰

Call me Nehemiah: Jessica gets 5 starsThe store is clean and the restroomSOOO GOOD:Classic vg burger they have two pattie options !Chili fries with shredded cheese vs quesoNo to the Mac and cheese actually absolutely not!Despite the language barrier they only hit my order wrong 1 time. The food is prepared with clean gloves no one has cross rolls so they don’t touch other things with they gloveskind she explained all the new things to me.The other employees were a bit unusual like they don’t speak English but they managed to get the job. They couldn’t understand shredded cheese they couldn’t understand how are you. That forced Jessica to be a translator and do online orders and be a cashier .She need a $20 raise since she is translatingThey loose a star for having non English speaking employees who don’t even try.they can’t answer simple questions and resort to asking Jessica so she is running all the online orders and questions.
