Freepoint Hotel Cambridge, Tapestry Collection by Hilton: what do users think?
Matthew Mastro: Not a bad hotel but the hallways and elevators were filthy! Greasy hand prints all over the walls and my shoes were sticking to the floor.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Marlyn C: Everything about our stay was nothing short of amazing. Check in was a breeze and friendly. Yodit provided recommendations and provided information on what was in the area. Noah helped when we felt our room was cold. He came right up and continued to make sure we were comfortable. Maria at the bar was very personable and her drinks were amazing!Room fit our needs and was very clean. Fridge, safe, and full size toiletries.Overall, home away from home with friendly and caring staff!Plenty to do in the area and close to highways. Starbucks attached to building and DD in walking distance. Will be back! There is an up charge for parking and breakfast.
Clay NFerno (Clay Fernald): Great rates and a modern hotel. Great for traveling bands and musicians! I stayed here recently and it was amazing.
John Affel: Be careful of semi hidden fees for parking. Also, they want to charge a daily pet cleaning fee instead of a onetime fee. And they did not clean my room between nights.Rooms: 3/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Tim Snyder: The facilities and room were exceptionally clean and well apportioned. The staff were friendly and helpful.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Darrin shorts: I would not stay at this hotel ever again. Bathroom wasn’t clean, mattress topper was stained. Heating unit made a loud noise when it was running. No free breakfast, no microwave in the room. $15 a day to park there, $75 a day extra charge just in case there is damage to the room.Rooms: 1/5 …More
Bonnie Gasdia: Stayed here twice in a span of one month! All staff were super friendly and welcoming, especially Noah! Amazing view fromBoth 3rd and 4th floor, and the rooms are spectacular for such a low price. There were also great stores around if you need anything quick and convenient. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area.
Allen Markel: I am not happy with service they provided for my two nights there. No air condition for two nights. Also, no closed captions. They wont waive the fee. I am going to file against this hotel.
Abdallah El hakimi: Très bon hôtel avec un service impeccable, Yodit a la réception était d'une grande aide vraiment a l'écoute un hôtel a recommander si on voyage a Cambridge Massachusetts
Rashid Dewberry: Great Staff, Very accommodating. Cozy outdoor fireplace. The room was spacious and comfortable. Starbucks, chipotle, whole foods, and more very close by.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Kyle Cook: This was my first time staying at The Freepoint Hotel and let me tell you; it was the best staycation I've had in Boston and we didn't even leave the property! From the Greeting when we first arrived to the room, to the bar and food there is just so much to enjoy here. A big shout out to Mitch Cox, the Hotel General Manager! He made our trip so special by personalizing welcome cards and just seemed like he had everything under control. His team too! They all crushed it and made me and my significant other feel exactly how we were looking to feel; which is not an easy feat with us! Great job all around and we will definitely be back. Go see Mitch and company at The Freepoint Hotel in Cambridge I am confident they will not disappoint! Cheers
Matthew Mattis: Overpriced for what it is. Front desk agent was attentive, housekeepers kept getting in our way in the hallway, small room and smaller bathroom.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Paul Bamatter: hotel was poor / looked run down..room was very small and bathroom was dirty ( hotel occupance was very low..they could have easily given us a better room)..parking in outdoor lot was very expensive ( tons of emply parting at Whole foods)Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5 …More
Robert Wren Gordon: The Google reviews are all over the place for this property but my experience was great. Noah was very friendly at check-in and Noah and Troy made sure that I received a delayed bag that was delivered by the airline in the middle of the night. My room seemed fine and the elevator worked. The proximity to Chipotle, CVS, Whole Foods, and Starbucks is great. The team was also flexible with a late check-out.
katelyn beck: This hotel bar and lounge was amazing! Ethan is the best bartender in town and really just such a beautiful hotel and experience. Thank you to everyone at this hotel for being amazing and providing amazing customer service! :)Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Louis Nguyen: Within walking distance of Harvard Yard. Nice hotel. Only quibble is low flow shower.
Catherine Liang: Terrible experience. All the other staff were extremely rude. What a terribel hotel!Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Blakesley: Hotel is nice but the bed in room 601 shakes when the bus or a truck goes by. At first I thought it was an earthquake. Avoid 601 if you like to sleep.
Nick Roma: Convenient location next to Harvard Metro, quiet and clean area. Rooms were excellent, staff was friendly.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Eric Kim: Great stay staff and location!
Susan Holliday: I’ve stayed here several times. Very nice staff and quiet, calm atmosphere. Good value for this area, great location and the restaurant / bar is excellent. Rooms and especially bathrooms are rather small but well appointedRooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
The Catt: Overall a nice hotel convenient to Cambridge and Harvard. The rooms are a bit dark and small, however. Additionally the Internet access is extremely slow.Updated:. Water temperature takes a long time to get hot water. Water pressure is also a bit low.Updated Dec 2022: The lounge is still closed, you will get food certificates for the onsite restaurant instead.Updated March 2023: Internet was recently upgraded and is a little bit faster.
G.A. d: Super rude front desk staff during the day...always too busy on their phones or hiding to greet anyone...only smiles come from maintenance staff...very overpriced...Rooms: 5/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Jason Robinson: Nice rooms and location, but service leaves a lot wanting. Wifi was poor and sporadic, and the restaurant staff refused to heat up our leftovers from dinner the day before without rationale. Additionally, as a safety concern, housekeeping entered our room unannounced before our scheduled checkout time.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Cesar Palma: Recently renovated and centrally located I enjoyed both my well appointed room and my stay. Friendly staff. Nice decor. The only drawback was a surprisingly tiny elevator (maximum capacity 2 people with luggage). Not sure what that space constraint is about especially after their recent remodeling.

Andrew Dykeman: Absolutely loved the staff. Room was well setup.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Jaclyn Capalbo: The people here were so unbelievably disrespectful. There was a man harassing us all night. Instead of them understanding that a grown man should not be harassing and stalking young girls, they kicked us out. We were quiet and respectful the whole night but a random old man had a vendetta against us starting at 6pm because we were young. We were trying to go to sleep and the front desk called us saying we were evicted. As we were already asleep. They showed us absolutely no respect and we payed so much money. If you’re young don’t come here even if you’re absolutely silent. So much disrespect went on tonight. Now we have nowhere to stay and we’re on the streets of Boston as young girls. They don’t care!
Jas “#”: I don't know why this place has Marriott in its name ! My critique here will probably not do any justice to our hollow "transit camp" like experience at this hotel. But here is a bullet list for you !!- The receptionists at the front desk were pretty crude. Didn't care to even stand up once through the entire checkin process. Didn't tell us about any amenities. Nothing !!- The bathroom sliding door was half off its rails and wouldn't slide. So we had to practically lift it and move to get into the bathroom.- A concealing Panel below the Sink would come off on the slightest touch.- Breakfast is at different times everyday. Get ready to carry a notebook around, you may have to take notes.- They would not let you get breakfast if you are a minute late. Doesn't matter if they have to throw away their entirely massive array of gourmet selection. (Pun intended)- Our keys got disabled after breakfast, I guess they were asking us to leave. When I asked the receptionist why it happened, her response was "you must have done something". So I guess I did the same thing to both our keys. How likely is that ?We were so happy to get out of this depressing place. I feel guilty now, we could have just used Airbnb and donated the extra money we spent to a good cause.
Lisa Sanchez: Home away from home. I've been here four times already and I will continue to come back. Clean, comfortable, and friendly staff. Great location.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
양효선: 너무 깨끗하고 넓다. 가성비의 최고의 호텔..4성급인듯보인다.. 하루를 묵는게 아쉬울정도..mit coop. 블루보틀이 바로 옆이다..최상의 컨디션 호텔.강추
Cheryl Smith: Nearby activities: Very close to MIT and Kendell SquareRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view, Quiet, Kid-friendly …More
Jesse Jacoby: Great location within a few minutes' walking distance to MIT, many phara companies, restaurants, bars, etc. Nicely appointed rooms with small kitchenette including full-size fridge with ice maker, microwave, utensils, dishes, sink, and dishwasher. Decent coffee maker to boot. Rooms were nicely laid out with subtle signs of wear. Nice clean shower, but with wall-mounted liquid soaps that got in the way. Pretty nice and well-equipped gym except for the elliptical which was in desperate need of maintenance. Fairly expensive for what you get, but that's the deal in downtown Cambridge.
Michael Gonzalez: Best hotel if you need a kitchen.Rooms: They have a kitchen.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Susan Sewersky: Our new favorite hotel. Convenient parking and an easy walk to the T
Troy Jones: Always helpful and professional staff, recently remodeled and the larger rooms are perfect for a long stay. New bar downstairs is a great place to unwind!
Mary Ellen Tucker: Rooms: Includes kitchen and sofa. Large size.Walkability: Near Kendall Square. Easy subway to downtown.
Guideaux Badaduchi: The absolute worst service out of any Marriott. The breakfast and housekeeping staff were polite but Jordan M was the most disrespectful person I have ever met. Would never stay here again.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Patrick: Functional hotel in safe area with sub Marriott standard (e.g plastic plates and cutlery during breakfast)
Shashwat P. Baxi: Overall, a very nice hotel in a perfect location in the heart of Cambridge. Anyone looking for long-term stay, should definitely look at this hotel. I was happy with the size of the room, the fitness center, the location, and the complimentary breakfast given the price and the comparative rates in the area. I would absolutely stay here again if I needed a place with a kitchen and wanted to cook my own food.
親父潜水: キッチンや馬鹿でかい冷蔵庫やダイニングテーブルもありますバスタブがあるのが嬉しい窓際のデスクワークスペースも広くゆっくり仕事が出来ます
Eugene Ing: Location was good but upon arrival there was a sewage issue in the lobby that the staff was cleaning out. The lobby stunk and there was raw sewage in a bucket. While I can appreciate that things happen the staff was rude and unapologetic. Apparently another guest who was drinking in the bar area complained about the smell and said their drink should be compensated. The entire staff was fixated on arguing and justifying why this guest was not deserving of a free drink rather than doing the right thing, which seemed very telling about customer service. If you are staying for an evening and assuming nothing goes wrong the place is fine but if something goes wrong I wouldn’t expect anything to be done for you based on this experience.

Barry Kneeland: I was pleased to see how new and clean the hotel looked. I asked how old the hotel was and I was surprised to hear something like 20 years. I was told there had been recent renovations. They did an excellent job with everything! Probably the nicest Hampton Inn I've ever stayed at! Staff, rooms and location were great. Less than a mile from TD Garden!
Louise Schultz: It's the worst room ever. As a member of HH, we have stayed in their hotels in many states and have never experienced anything like this. They issued many excuses why they could not relocate us to another room. Would never stay there again.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 4/5 …More

Janay Moss: Good hotel for the price and location in relation to public transportation to downtown. I highly recommend.
Joyce Jang: If I could give this place ZERO stars that would be the most accurate. It started with the reception staff being absolutely rude and unbelievably unprofessional. I booked 2 nights with points and the night before my husband got very I’ll so we traveled the next day to see his uncle who was recovering from a stroke. This was already a very stressful day of driving 5+ hours through stormy weather. Because I had not called the day before mind you because my husband was ill they not only cancelled my reservation even through I “checked in” online. I went to the front desk and they LITERALLY refused to honor my reservation then the desk person called the on-site manager and she also was completely unwilling to help. They made me call the 800 number and go through the Hilton honors hotline- which hung up on me after making me wait close to 20 mins to sort my reservation then when I called again the customer service person assured me they would honor my reservation and had me on hold for another 30 mins. After over 1 hour of talking to the useless reception and on-site manger they finally gave me and my sick husband a room. The nightmare then continues because then they CHARGE me for the room and tack on 4 other charges FRAUDULENTLY. In all my years of traveling I have never dealt with this level of rudeness from hotel staff and frankly deceitful behavior. I’m reporting them to BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. Do not stay!!!
Isaac Costa Queiroz: They make you feel like you are a celebrity from the moment you walk in. Very warm and welcoming. Love the modern design and awesome atmosphere they created here. Must check it out!
Joe Bauza: I had what I call the Blue Brothers room. Right against the train tracks. The trains start at 6am and run every 5 or so minutes. You hear dogs barking and drunk young people, and you hear the elevator door opening and closing. There is really nothing the staff can do. There are not enough parking spaces, and you are told that when you check in. So if you find a spot, don't move your car you may not find a spot when you return. Free breakfast area, which is good. I can't think of anything else good to say about my Very Expensive stay. If you to book here ask for a street side room. The backside of the building is against the train tracks. And as my daughter said, " You can hand someone on the train a bagel and a cup of coffee as they go by"
Patrick Quinn: Nice hotel. Very close to dt and no complaints.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Kid-friendly …More
Gray Bush: Have a twisted ankle, can't hardly walk, no where to get food or drink without walking 3 or 4 blocks.Food & drinks: None available.
Jake Schroeder: This place is right next to the Lechmere station on the green line. Room was very nice. Free breakfast was average/above average for the price of the stay. Only complaint, the window let in a decent amount of street noise.Walkability: Literally next to the Lechmere station on the green line.
Hieu Nguyen: The room was very clean and quiet. I stayed on a high floor. The carpet was in a very good condition. I had a good rest after a long day. The staff was very helpful.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

AC Hotel by Marriott Boston Cambridge: what do users think?
Patrick W. van Deursen: This AC hotel is one of the first hotels in this price range that as a European has a nice interior and is not dated. The rooms are nice and and new. The only issue I have is with the beds, which are EXTREMELY soft. If started in a king size, and had serieus issue with my back the next day. Staff was friendly enough to put me in rooms with a queen sized bed, which was a lot better.Traffic to and from the hotel to Boston can we a bit busy at times, so take that info account for your commute
Gabi Friedman: Stayed here for a weekend with a group of friends. A/C was out in the room both nights, despite two trips up by maintenance staff who claimed to fix it. Desk staff were perfectly nice, but in suggesting we switch rooms did not offer to have our stuff moved for us or the pull-out made up. Pretty overpriced for the experience. Parking and breakfast are exorbitant and the T stop is not nearly as close as the website makes it seem and involves walking alongside a highway for 0.5 a mile.
Janie G: Charged me for parking when I never used the parking garage. Put me on hold 3 times before answering. When they finally answered, the representative and GM never called me back to resolve the garage fee dispute. I had to take it up Marriott to get the garage fee refunded. Very poor service especially given my titanium elite status.
Anton Krilloff: Night shift service can use some improvement. Trainee Kuazee is confused and needs better supervision. Trainees during the day shift need better training and supervision as well.
Victoria Kuhn: The difference between a good hotel and a great one are the amenities, including the staff. We went to the hotel bar last night for dinner, as we were tired from a strange and longer-than-usual-two-hour-drive-from-Portland. FOUR entrees on the menu. I ordered salmon, David the steak. Well, there was no salmon. So I ordered the the chix BLT sandwich as a Cesar salad (very nice bartender said they have a Cesar even though it wasn’t on the menu). Smallest of bowls crammed with the ingredients - dang the food kept falling off onto the table sigh and no tomatoes. Now my martini - hit the spot! David enjoyed his steak and the carrots were delish! The front desk gal with first name that began with S was very friendly. Room was clean though so modern, it was figuratively cold (not in temp). Wayfinding awful. Black room numbers on less black wall is not a good combo if you want guests to be able to read signs and mood lighting like an old bar throughout the hotel.I stay almost exclusively in Marriotts - and many of them a year. Good hotel but needs to work to be better, especially since my hotel room is supposedly a $1500 a night room, according to the inside of my door.
Melissa M: I stay here often. The staff have been awesome every time and I've yet to have any issues. This last round I was put in a room right next to the elevator (sharing a wall with the elevator lobby) and my room was still perfectly quiet. I could hear a bit if my upstairs neighbor was stomping around & the water was loud when they flushed their toilet, but nothing that impacted my ability to sleep, which is really all I care about in a hotel.Overall, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The bar has a nice menu and laid back vibe. Parking is expensive, but easy & includes free EV charging.Rooms: Clean, well appointed. My room had a white noise machine.
Caroline Anastasi: Clean and spacious room! There’s a garage next door and you can get parking validated. The hotel is right next to alewife station to get into the city, about a 8 min walk.
John Bantz: nice placeRooms: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 3/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Matthew Gillis: Nice clean rooms. How ever the front desk lady was completely useless after my key stopped working
Allison Wilcox: I've stayed at this hotel twice in the past - Nov 2019 and Oct 2018. It's a very stylish hotel, modern and sleek design touches throughout, which I found very appealing. I stayed in rooms with a king size bed both times - they were comfortable and spacious, the bed was great to sleep on. The breakfast buffet is really good, and some cooked-to-order items are also available. I found the staff very friendly and helpful. The AC Hotel Cambridge is definitely on the top of my list for places to stay on future trips to Boston. The hotel location is about 3/10 mile walk to the Alewife T-stop, with the path there going through the Alewife Brook Reservation, a very pretty natural area. It makes for a nice walk to the T-stop or a nice area to spend a little time outside.
Kevin Allen: A great place to stay near the red line. Great service. Comfortable room. Had Laundry on the same floor, which is super nice if staying for a longer tripRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Omar Yousef: So far so bad. The most disgusting room i have ever seen. Room floor and tables were dirty (food and drinks remains), and i saw a nail on one of the tables. And the more i look around the room the more I discover that the room is disgusting. I don't recommend anyone to come here.Rooms: So far so bad. The most disgusting room i have ever seen. Hyatt Regency Boston / Cambridge: what do users think?
Ramdas Pisharody: I stayed here for a week for business meetings and a conference. The rooms were comfortable, clean and well maintained with a beautiful view of the river ( my colleagues who didn’t have the river view were less impressed). The fitness room was newly built and excellent. The one let down was the restaurant which has a limited offering, no buffet and the young , inexperienced staff often got the orders mixed up.
Jake Ramirez: I went from a 2-star hotel to what I thought was a 4-star hotel on my last stay in the Boston area with the wife. Couldn't have been more wrong in terms of how the rooms compared. I read another review that said the hotel looked dated, and it did. The silicone on my shower head and shower handle were coming off, the carpet was torn entering the bathroom, our mirror was chipped, the room was smaller than the 2-star room, no microwave. It left a lot to be desired given the "4-star" status. The location wasn't horrible as we did use the shuttle service to the drop-off places they had, and the staff was very friendly. It was a quiet hotel, which was perfect given that we were only there for one night prior to heading home.
Si vas a Cambridge o a Boston, busca otro lugar ...Aquí estás LEJOS DE TODO.
Yuefan Wang: Wonderful place and service. The director Marisa helped us to set up my proposal decorations at the hotel and give us a significant support. It will be a unforgettable moment in our life. I highly recommend stay at this place not only for accommodation but also for all kinds of activities.
Christopher Brown: A truly amazing hotel right on the Charles river.Probably one of the best kept secrets in Boston is Is actually across the river in Cambridge.2 bridges with an easy distance bring you right over into Boston.Rooms are spacious beds are amazing.City bike rentals nearby make transportation very easy. With the price being about $100 less of most hotels in Boston this is definitely one to check out.
Allisson Bordignon: Nice view. Nice service. But no public transportation close.
ALIKAR: El Hotel es muy cómodo y agradable, tiene un shuttle que te lleva a puntos estratégicos.
Gopal Chopra: Excellent rooms and location for the price. Great customer service.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
ANITA VARMA: Amazing hospitality and excellent housekeeping. enjoyed my stay. river view from the room was very refreshing.
Emily Q: Rooms: The rooms were a bit dated. Honestly was a disappointed but the view and balcony we had made up for it. The beds only had thin sheets which i’ve never had at a hotel.Noteworthy details: There was a lot at the hotel that was unimpressive or just made me think the room was not worth the price on top of the fact that they will force you to pay a fee for the shuttle they have even if you dont plan to use it. My friend and I were willing to overlook a lot of things had the service been great, but it wasn’t. The staff is very obviously just here to make money and do the bare minimum. We asked for towels to be sent up to our room one morning and it took them an hour and a half which made us late to our schedules plans and when we called and asked if we could just come down and get them they said it was not an option. I probably could’ve found some at a store and bought them faster than this. The only good thing I can say is the location is convenient.
philip rowe: Good place to stay when visiting Harvard or MIT
SHY: 위치가 보스턴 중심은 아니지만 MIT 바로 옆이고 자전거나 리프트로 금방 이동 가능

Gary L. Tucker Jr.: The bathroom door was dirty on the inside along with the door handle. The bathroom light switch had brown dirt on it. Front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Abdul Alim: We had a pleasant and comfortable stay.
Chris Aguilar: The hotel is nice, generally speaking. With public transportation nearby this hotel fit our needs. Clean room, decent bed and bedding. Now the not so good. Price-$300+ per night is exceptional and definitely not worth the accommodation. No pool, sauna, or jacuzzi. The furniture in the room was dated and worn. Will be looking for a different location on our next visit
Gloria Zaw: Noteworthy details: EV car charge is availableComplimentary afternoon social drinks and morning breakfast make you fresh
G Frye: This Homewood Suites was great! We lived near Harvard and Central Square years ago and wanted to revisit. This hotel had so much to offer: free wifi, hot breakfast, laundry room, free parking, and a convenient location near the red line Alewife station (minutes to Harvard and MIT), It’s actually very close to Harvard Square. It’s right off the border of Cambridge and Arlington. There was a gym cross its parking garage, Mass BJJ across the big road, a gas station next to it, The Capital Theatre movie theater within walking distance, and a great restaurant Town Tavern across the theater. They did a great job keeping the breakfast items on the shelves. They also offered free food for Wednesday from 5 to 7 pm. It cost $3 to wash and $3 to dry, which is great compared to packing extra sets of outfits. They did a great job keeping the common areas clean. The staff were very friendly. Definitely highly recommend it for our family and friends.
George Johnson: You pay what you get for. While the rooms were large and cozy and I had a fireplace on the third floor... Every door, every hinge and every step in the building made a creak. Nothing really impressed. Impressive about their breakfast but there was some good amenities like free parking if you have a car.
Sonia Sangha: All employees here were fantastic. My review is not from a people perspective. It’s the actual quality of the hotel. The room with kitchenette I had was extremely dingy, musty and rundown. Not worth the price at all.The rooms in this hotel are in desperate need of a renovation. Very rundown and unattractive. Tattered and discoloured lampshades, dingy lighting, 3, not even 4, mismatched pillows on a bed - pillowcases looked old, broken toaster, tap in washroom leaking water onto counter, fabric shower curtain, I felt uncomfortable in the room and didn’t touch or use anything beyond necessary.Rooms: Very rundown and unattractive. Andrew Swinney: Unfortunately, I have to update my review. The issues of cleanliness I called out in my prior review have only gotten worse. I'll spare the details. Staff was kind to offer to fix it, but frankly, I'm just tired of needing them to fix something each time I visit. Vanessa Aquino: The hotel is well kept and nice decor. Front desk, breakfast, and housekeeping staff was friendly and helpful. The location is perfect as it's close to the city, supermarkets and restaurants plus it's in a quiet area. The room was clean and comfortable and everything was in working conditions. The only negative is the floors and walls. If you stay in the 1st and 2nd floor, you can hear the person above you when they walk around the room. I was below a room whose person walked heavy and seem like he/she was jogging around the room till 2am. You could also feel the steps of people walking in the hallway. Unless you're a heavy sleeper, avoid the first two floors. Otherwise, I plan to stay here again but will definitely avoid the bottom floors.
Ben Hur: Good location and good size to stay for 3 adults. Staffs are nice people warm and friendly. The room is a bit old time for refurbishment. Overall I'm satisfied.Nearby activities: Nearby to shopping for almost everything including restaurants. No issues overall rating is good.
Richard Yovichin: What a great experience! The manager at the front desk was nice and accommodating. The breakfast is awesome. The ladies do not overcook the eggs. This is the best complementary breakfast I have ever had on the east coast. Cuddos to the cooks for doing a great job!Hotel highlights Great value …More

Julie Waschela: I have to say through this tough little time in my family's life the people that work here are very friendly and helpful. So from the front desk to the housekeeping and maintenance are all great people and go above and beyond. They all work so hard to run this establishment. We appreciate them.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More

Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Boston Cambridge: what do users think?
Jennifer M.: Stayed here for my wedding earlier this month. The staff went above and beyond. Someone left flowers and a card in my room congratulating us, they even let me sneak into breakfast while they were closing up. But above everything, we accidentally left something valuable in our room and they called almost immediately to let us know we had left it. We couldn’t appreciate the hospitality enough!
Kim Fuller (she, her, elle): Easy access to downtown. Nice clean rooms.
Juliana Novaes Nogueira Da Silva: This property is great. These days, finding a nice place to sleep is easy, but finding great service is rare.
Heather Hoisington: I had a pleasant experience. My room was nice and it was clean. The staff was nice. The only things I would mention would be that all Suites face the railroad tracks (it didn't bother me) and that the parking fee per a night was $40... I think.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Kid-friendly …More
nassim b: recently stayed at this hotel and had an amazing experience, thanks to the excellent service provided by Tommie, the general manager, and the welcoming staff at the front desk. From start to finish, my stay was enjoyable and stress-free.Firstly, the hotel's location was perfect for my needs. It was conveniently located near all the main attractions and restaurants in the area. The hotel itself was clean, modern, and stylishly decorated. However, what really made my stay stand out was the level of service provided by Tommie and his team. Tommie went out of his way to ensure that everything was perfect, from the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out. He was always available to answer any questions or concerns that I had and made sure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The front desk staff were also exceptional. They were always welcoming and friendly, making me feel right at home from the moment I walked through the door. They were knowledgeable about the area and provided me with great recommendations for things to see and do during my stay.Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in the area. The location is great, the hotel is clean and stylish, and the service provided by Tommie and his team is exceptional. I look forward to returning to this hotel in the future.
Shashwat P. Baxi: A nice hotel that is clean and well kept. Convenient for anyone looking to be in Cambridge or Charlestown. Compared to the other Marriott properties in the area, this was the most affordable. The only issue that someone may have is that the rooms on the backside of the hotel are right along the T-line and the train noise travels into the rooms at early hours in the morning. Still, overall a good hotel and affordable.
Vivek Babbar: FIRST IMPRESSIONS WAS NOT PLEASANT.I am surprised with what has happend to hospitality business. They are no longer pleasant to welcome guests in their property. I started staying in Marriott hotels starting 2023 and its my 3rd stay in Marriott property and i am not experiencing a welcoming experience. In this location i was checking in at 12am and the lady at the front reception didn't even greet with a smile. Just with a blank face, she asked me "How can i help you?" i said checking in and her face was like as if i asked her $50,000.I am not gonna get into that she was not able to find me with my last name and everything. but she gave me the keys, didn't tell me which way the evelavtors are. Not welcomed as a Gold elite member. I had to ask her where are the elevators.Next morning, when i got into the breakfast room and i was at 8.59 am and breakfast closes at 9 and this lady who was in the kitchen was laughing loudly and moment she saw me, her face was like that she was totally unhappy that someone is here is get breakfast. I plated my breakfast in 1 mins just went out. BTW, there were 2 other guests after me that came to get breakfast. When i was about to leave for my work it was the lady at the front said me "good Morning and have a good day and my immediate reaction was " wow, you are the first person in this property who had a smiling face ever since i checked in to the hotel"The rooms are super super small. I am definetely not coming back to this property.
Marc Doughty: Stayed here recently because I'm racking-up membership points. This place is clean, fresh, and the staff was on-point. Would stay again. It's not quite in the middle of stuff, but the small parking lot is right on the street, and you can come and go as you please, or just walk.
Maria Tomlinson Waltersdorf: Very clean, great breakfast, and friendly staff. The location was a 5 minute walk to the train station, and it was about a 20 minute ride to Boston Common. Highly recommend!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Rachel Holmes: this is a truly excellent marriott. they respond quickly to room service requests via app, the lobby is wonderfully decorated for Christmas and smells wonderful, free hot breakfast included and coffee always available, excellent convenient location for my brisk walking commute to MGH. highly recommend this hotel
Elvia Ojendis: Excelente experiencia de una noche de hospedaje. Muy buena ubicación para moverte en transporte por la ciudad. Llegué sin problemas a Harvard y después al centro de la Ciudad.
Jeremy Yowell: Good hotel with fair prices. It was easy to park, check in, and check out and the rooms were very quiet and clean. Definitely a no-frills experience, with fewer amenities than other Marriott properties I've stayed at recently but would stay again for sure.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More
Diane Zagorski: Overall a nice and clean hotel. Breakfast was good. Parking was $40 a night, but was at their property which was very convenient. Keurig in the room was really nice but noticed there was what looked like dirt or mold inside the water compartment. 🤢 I didn’t see this until after I enjoyed my coffee so that was concerning. Our room was a odd number (backside of the hotel) - which meant we got a great view of the subway! It was loud and ran almost the whole night. We brought a fan with us that drowned out most of the sound. Without it not sure if decent sleep would be possible. We had a slight (and unexpected) change of plans and needed to leave a day early. I called the hotel to inquire if there was anyway we could cancel our second night. The person I spoke to (who later advised me he was the General Manager) said no immediately. I used to work for Marriott (as an AGM for 4 years at a franchise select service hotel) so I know these requests are far from ideal as it impacts housekeeping, occupancy, etc. The General Manager didn’t even pretend to look into the request, just flat out said no. I offered to pay for part of the night and he said no. Not very hospitable. I later found out they were at less than 50% occupancy. So that was very disappointing - seemed like getting 1 more room night and $160 was more important than working with a guest. Oh well, we adapted. This is a franchise so I don’t hold it against the brand, but won’t be back to this location again. Will stay closer to downtown since there isn’t much within walking distance
Tiffany R: First of all certain sections are pet friendly but I never hear any disruption.Secondly the front Staff and management are always professional and polite, quick to accommodate. Cleaning or "turn service" is emaculate.Last but certainly not least Millie is an incredible chef. She gets fresh meats from a local farm, compilations eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, sausage or combinations of seveeal of these. The meals are always hot and fresh and a great start for wheverever your fueling your body up to do locally or on the road. For vegans ans vegetarians there is a plethora of items from veggie sausages, daily fresh waffles with tons of additives (grains, cinnamon brown sugar berries etc).Of course coffee, tea, apple and orange juice and basic cereals for the kiddies like front loops, cornflakes, muffins etc.I set my alarm early every stay so not to miss the complementary, delicious meals that vary throughout the week!

Sebastian Brennan: Thanks to the housekeeping staff for finding and sending some headphones I’d left in the room - top end service and a reason to return. Thanks
P.H Jeng: I stayed at the hotel from April 13 to 18, 2023, for a total of six nights. I used the bathtub from the first day, and the water quality seemed normal. However, on the third day (April 15) at 8 pm, the water that was released from the tap was discolored, as shown in the picture.I called the front desk, and they said someone would come to check it out. After inspecting the tap, the staff turned on the cold water from the sink and said it looked normal. He didn't know why the water was discolored and suggested we try running the water again or change to a different room. Then, he quickly left. After the staff left, we tried running hot water in the sink and found that the water quality was the same as bathtub, with sand-like particles. To make matters worse, when we drained the bathtub, the entire tub was filled with sand and oily substances, as shown in the attached picture. When we asked the front desk about the issue, they only offered to change our room to the same type of room on the same floor. They said we could let them know if we wanted to change rooms. However, we had already unpacked all of our luggage for the six-night stay, and we were unsure if the problem would occur again in the new room. It was concerning that such an incident could happen in a four-star hotel, and the staff's reaction seemed indifferent. At the very least, the hotel should try to find out where the problem with the water was coming from.Review at 9:30 pm on April 15, 2023
Nizar Elias: Rooms: The rooms are nice with a lot of space, the bathroom is good and has everything one might need. The TV in the room offers a bunch of streaming services and allows streaming from mobile device.

Standard room and amenities for a hotel of this brand and size. Will definitely be staying here again during my future trips into this part of Boston.
User P: Rooms do not reflect the advertised pictures. Staff is nice.
jack wang: I am beyond disappointed at this property, while I was eating I saw two mouse scurrying across the floor, I took a video and showed it to the desk clerk. Cambria Hotel Boston Somerville: what do users think?
Sinclair Stolle: Great new hotel. Was in town for a 4-night work trip. Rooms are modern, comfortable, clean and quiet. The heavy duty steamer came in handy for getting the wrinkles out. Also a fun feature if you like to listen to music/podcasts while you're getting ready in the bathroom, there is a bluetooth speaker built into the mirror. Took me a minute to figure out what it was. Very unique (and decent sound). Keurig brand coffee maker included. The restaurant in the hotel (Josephine's) just opened while I was there and was really good - pizzas and unique Italian food. Nice atmosphere and the servers were nice and helpful.Short walk (0.5 mile) to Harvard and lots of places to eat within walking distance of the hotel. If you don't want a chain for coffee (Dunkin is next door), a short walk to Forge Baking Company has great coffee and light food.Walkability: Since it's near a college (Harvard) there were people out walking and biking, even at night. Most streets are well lit. I was out walking by myself at 9pm and felt safe.
Andy Derrow: Excellent hotel with efficient and friendly people, beautiful rooms, and an outstanding new restaurant downstairs. Josephine Pizza, Michael Scelfo’s latest restaurant is outstanding!!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Harry DeBari: Booked for 2 days. Came back at 5 the first day, our room hadn’t been cleaned nor touched. Manager told me they had no one from house keeping to clean the room, so too bad! Nice!
Ann: We lucked out in finding this hotel . The lobby is very inviting and our room was great ! Very modern and nice and clean. The housekeeping staff is wonderful. The decor was lovely including small touches like decorator towels which are more than white ! We found location perfect and never ended up needing our car . The bus and subway were a 10-15 min walk .The internet was slow - our only complaint. I would stay there again
Lawrence D,W: Great experience

Brett Rado: Excellent, new, and modern hotel right between Union and Porter Square. This hotel has quickly become a go to for my family when visiting the Cambridge/ Greater Boston area. The rooms are clean and spacious with great amenities. The gym is also impressive for a hotel (good selection of machines and free weights) and has a FREE game room with pool, pinball, and other games for guests (anywhere else in the area would absolutely make activities like this coin-op). I hope that this hotel continues to uphold its current standards of hygiene and attention to detail!
Steve Petty: My only complaint is that the bed might be the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. I never understood the hype around bedsheet thread count until staying here. Now I do. They were like cardboard. Even though I had the privacy sign on my door when I left for the day, it was evident that housekeeping had come in my room. The hotel was clean and room was well appointed. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Joe Scozzaro: This hotel has it all! My three kids (15, 13 & 10) loved hanging out in the game room which was actually made it super fun for us to meet with friends in the comfy sitting area just off the lobby. The room was clean and well appointed. The staff all were very welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel if you are meeting friends for a weekend—there’s so much to do in the surrounding area during the day and also cool nightlife. We will definitely return to this beautiful new hotel for fun city weekend getaways!
Marielys Lilo: Beautiful Hotel with good locations, great service, room were clean, game room for the people. Recomend for traveling with family.
Dan Elton: Everything is brand new (hotel just opened in late 2022)! The decor is really well done, some of the best hotel aesthetics I've seen!Beds are quite comfortable - they are traditional medium-firm spring mattresses with light padding on top.15 minute walk to T station, 15-25 minute walk to Harvard.
Doug Phelps: Newer building, clean and we'll appointed. Central to food, breweries and shopping within walk g distance of all of these. Priced reasonably.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view, Great value, High-tech …More
