Jim Orsini: I had an issue with my pool earlier this year. I could not get it clear at all. Milky Blue water. I went to another pool place local to me and they said just throw chemicals at it. After 2 weeks and a waste of time and money I did a search and found Abramo Pool & Spa. I stopped by , explained this issue and showed pictured to Nick. Nick said it is dead algae and you will need 3 containers of clarifier. I used the clarifier as Nick told me and BINGO. Pool was clear and usable. Abramo is now my pool place. Thank you again Nick......

The pool is 33 years old. Henry and Juan came replaced the pipe, connected the filter, pressure tested the system and we are up and running. We do not have to cancel the party. Do not go anywhere else!! I was treated like family!!!!!

No pressure, highly responsive and incredibly reasonable regarding budget and not "over-selling". 2. Project manager at HQ. Phenomenal communication, scheduling and project understanding. Near daily updates on what happened thus far and what is coming the the next few weeks. Also fantastic about keeping me on track for decisions, especially important when supply chains were funky. 3. On-Site project management: The guys who came to the home were incredible workers. They arrived early, left late and kept the worksite clean and manageable. The proof is in the final product, which is incredible. 4. Closing/Cover: One day I had an open pool...then i got home and it was closed, covered and clean. B S: So, after reading Steve's review, your telling everyone that doesn't use your pool services that you don't honor your 50 or 100 year warranty, whatever it is?Guess its kind of like paying you in full the 1st couple visits (6 site visits in 6 weeks collected 90% of total) and now just hanging around with my backyard a complete disaster waiting for you to finish??? I was told/sold not to use our own electrician and plumber because of the delicate coordination??? The electrician has been onsite twice now, the second time was to complete what he did the 1st time, GREAT coordination. I could have done myself what they have done and I would have saved 10 grand, EASY1 task per week is all your accountable for according to the salesman who sold it to us, wish we were told that from the beginning. Does that go to 1 per month after you collect all financials and we're left with a mud pit all spring, summer and maybe fall too?We made 10% deposit at the beginning to be put on a so-called schedule. Me nor my wife have seen this so-called schedule, only schedule updates we get are an email on the day before a site visit and 75% of that time it has been scheduled, it has a 65%+ chance to rain, so im assuming were the rainy day projectwould NOT recommend even to my worst enemyService:Custom Swimming pool design

Steve Webster: I bought my pool from South Shore gunite about 20 years ago and have had really no issues with it until recently. My spa has some parts that are missing and I called today to get a service call. The gentleman who answered the phone told me that because I haven't used them for service over the past few years they wouldn't help me. I was crystal clear with him that I bought the pool from them and was a past customer. "No" he replied there was nothing he could do. I own a business too and if one of my past clients called me with a problem I'd do everything I could to make sure they were happy. Word of mouth is extremely important. So for those of you considering hiring this company I would say that your past business means nothing to this company. They do not stand behind their product and my advice is to choose another company!
