It is delightful, with figures of birds and fawns interspersed with floral motifs of light blue, pink, tan, and crimson and navy accents. After our daughter had selected her rug, Mr. Nooraee took care to prepare the rug through a special washing process, giving us a clear and precise timeline of when it would be ready for pickup. Laura Ferrer: From the first time I called Noor Oriental Rugs to ask about having our rugs cleaned, our family has been blessed by the connection. Mr. Nooraee and I became quick friends, drawn to the spirit of joy and love for neighbor that we found in each other. Izzy: I found the Sufi Service Committee through their website online. I was looking for volunteer opportunities for a while, but this one stuck out to me. The community there seemed so genuinely friendly and close-knit. When I first volunteered, my mom and I were welcomed immediately. Mr. Nooraee, the organizer, offers tea and pastries right at the point of arriving and all volunteers dine with him for lunch. Every Saturday, volunteers gather to organize food and clothing for the homeless. It’s always a pleasure working alongside Mr. Nooraee and the other volunteers. Everyone is friendly and generous and it’s refreshing to see people come together when we’re all so different. Mr. Nooraee is very charitable and understanding, he gave me a complimentary rug and insisted on giving us snacks before we left. We always look forward to going back and being in his company. His store is beautifully kept and he is always dedicated to his customers. The rugs are beautifully designed and kept. I love seeing the designs every time I go there.

These well-made rugs are so much better than the newer wool rugs that shed, and will clearly hold up well for decades. We bought several beautiful rugs our new home, and couldn't be more thrilled. I went back and forth with samples and they were very patient. The end result is wonderful. Two flights of a sturdy elegant carpet that we love. The installer paid attention to details of how to match it to seams, etc. really very pleased with the entire experience. I shopped around and they had the most beautiful carpet for the price in the discounted area, no comparison at the other places I looked for really interesting options of colors, texture and patterns. The owner went over all my selections and explained durability versus price, what might be best for our home, etc. Really great service!!!

I would never do business here again and would recommend others that there are much better alternatives nearby, such as Cambridge Rug Co, where they are honest, courteous and professional.This following describes my recent experience at Lechemre rug:I purchased a remnant at a reasonable price from a very helpful and professional salesman one evening. I intended to custom cut the remnant to fit the back of my car and planned to return to have the edges bound. The salesman quoted me a price of $10 for each interior corner, and $2.50 per linear foot. When I returned the next day, the original salesman was not there and the "owner" was the only one working. I told him that I was back to have the carpet bound and explained to him that the salesman from the previous night had already quoted me a price for it and which he actually wrote down on the recipe. The owner refused to accept this and said "that's not right, it's always been $25". Unfortunately I didn't have the recipe from the previous night on me (although it turned out that would not have made a difference anyway) but I said I would be happy to bring it back when I came to pick up the carpet and pay for it then. The owner wrote out a receipt and said he was giving me a "good deal" but when i looked at the slip he was still charging me $25 per interior corner... more than twice the rate i had been promised when i purchased the carpet. when I asked him to clarify why he would not honor the written price the other salesman gave me he simply spat out "if you don't want me to do it take your business somewhere else". he then went on to say that they "gave" me the remnant (which I paid $45 for!!) and all this other nonsense. he then threw out the sip and told me to take my business elsewhere. It was really unbelievable how hostile and aggressive he was. I had no idea what was wrong with him. Maybe he was having a bad day but that kid of behavior is unacceptable. Don't shop there unless you are interested in a similar experience.

I purchased my family room area rug from them over a year ago and with lots of wear and tear the binding started to separate from the rug. I called them and they sent someone right away to repair. No questions asked. Everyone I have worked with at Lechmere has been great. I definitely recommend to anyone I know looking for a rug.

Alex and Frantz were delightful and quite knowledgable as we went, ONE BY ONE through the pile to select the rugs from which I will choose. M SP: If you are anything like me, buying a good quality, life lasting rug can be a daunting decision. We looked through piles and piles of rugs (cause that's what I do) and had a top 20 list of rugs that we liked. They offered to take as many as they could fit in their truck to my home so that I could see them in my home and they let me keep the top three in my home for several weeks (or was it months?). This was extremely helpful and made my feel confident in my decision. We ended up with two Ferraghan rugs from Afghanistan with vegetal dyes. Overall great customer service and good people in general. Would definitely recommend this rug buying experience to anyone.
