Mark Tetreault: We had a bar mitzvah dinner here and it was special night. The club sits on the water and the views out the back are spectacular. There is a bit of traffic noise as the front of it has quite a few intersecting roads with lots of traffic. The dinner was catered and the meal was vegan but it turned out to be very good. There was a large room for tables and another large room for dancing. The back deck was very nice and the weather was absolutely fantastic. All in all, a pretty nice spot for a gathering. The special people that attended this event certainly helped to make it extra special.

Crimson Sailing Academy: what do users think?
Sarah Kent: My son had a great time sailing in a beautiful venue with an expert coach. Been is extremely knowledgeable and funny. My son learned many nuances to team racing that he can take back to his school team. It was fun to meet and sail with people from many other clubs/programs. Also interesting to sail at a college sailing center as a high schooler. A great week!
Yuechen Qian: My son had a wonderful summer camp in the summer. Coach Bern and his assistants were very experienced and nice. They offered a lot of time to let kids to practice and play. My son had a great time. The highlight was the last afternoon of the program when the kids sailed with their family. My son definitely wanted to do it again!Parking was a bit problematic. Bette to drop kids earlier or reserve ample time to find a parking spot in the neighborhood.Wish they offer year-long programs, say during weekends.
Luna Dasuza: My son attended this camp summer of 2018 - I found it to be superbly organized. It was hands down the best summer experience my son has had. It had just the right balance between instruction and fun. My son who reluctantly signed up for the course came home positive and happy every single day. He's developed a love for sailing which can be credited to Coach Bern and his superbly trained team. This camp delivers what it promises and I only wish there were more camps like it.
Kerry Doyle: My son had a great time and learned SO much! So nice for them to be out on the Charles River every day. Thanks!
Vivian Larsen: I really liked this camp. I learned lots about sailing from the super nice coulnclers! I also made tons of new friends! I can't wait to be back next year!☺️☺️
Gabriella Costello: This place was a place to make memories. I loved their instruction. And I learned a lot. Can't wait to come back next year.
Jack Eagan: This is my second summer at CSA! I'm so sad that my session is ending! This is a great camp with great counselors ! The camp is tailored to the campers needs/preferences. I went from being scared of sailing last year to feeling comfortable and taking my parents on a boat ride. The counselors are always out supervising on the water. Looking forward to next year. Even after the storm damage in early 2018 by the my second week you couldn't even tell. So who ever commented about the damage you couldn't even tell if you came back. [I believe that the best response probably would come from a current camper. Like myself]
Nancy Serrano-Wu: Top-notch camp -- I highly recommend this camp to all. My son attended the camp without any prior knowledge of sailing, and came home each day more and more excited. He was in the water every day, and told tales of sailing with his friends right away in the boats, under the close supervision of Coach Bern. Coach Bern is an accomplished sailor in his own right, but more importantly, an excellent teacher. He is able to get through to the kids with his sense of humor, and inspire them with his technical knowledge. The location is picturesque, and the camp graciously provides photos of your children sailing along the Charles that you can easily share with your friends and family. Given the small-size of the camp, your budding sailor will learn an amazing amount for the time that they are there. The Academy also runs high school clinics for more experienced students. You will not be sorry sending your children here!
Sophie Barlos: I learned how to sail here as a kid and was incredibly impressed by how much they taught us. The lessons are tailored to the students, and those who wanted to learn more competitive techniques were given the chance to do so. I still come to sail every summer because of the amazing experience at CSA. Beautiful location in the Charles River Basin. They have 420s and FJs in good condition and very knowledgeable coaches. I highly recommend!
Lakshmi Ilango: Loved spending summers at Crimson Sailing Academy as a kid growing up. Never had sailing experience before but even on the first day of camp I felt comfortable enough on the boats thanks to the instructors. Sailing on the Charles is still one of my favorite pastimes in Boston.
Victoria Hain: I attended CSA for four summers and have always enjoyed it! The curriculum is adjusted based on the skill level of each session and it is a great way to spend part of the summer. You learn a lot and get to sail right beside the Boston skyline!
Steven Riendeau: Crimson Sail Academy on the Charles River is an amazing place to teach your kids to sail. Thank you for being here.
Shawn Porter: The Charles River Sailing Academy at MIT is much better.
