The Collection of Historical Scientific Instruments at the Putnam Gallery: what do users think?
Aakash M. Suchak: The size of a single art gallery, you will see 300 years of scientific development and innovation at Harvard. Couched within the Science Center and the Program in the History of Science, you will see thoughtfully curated and thought provoking instruments that enhanced medical treatment, navigation, time keeping, and psychological intervention. Recommended to pique the curiosity of the young and heighten the stimulation for the old. Free and open to the public, this collection is not to be missed.

Rose Davis: It was not easy to find this museum, you have to look around for the sign upstairs. The museum itself is situated in the Science block of Harvard University. It is not big, just one room which is full with all kind of inventions from different times. On the second floor there is another room, but there is nothing to see there. The entrance to the museum is always free, and it is really great.

Manuel Ortega: Excelente las colecciones que poseen en tan prestigiosa institución hacen al acervo cultural no solo de la nación sino de la humanidad
Jarrett Joubert: Truly unlike anything I have ever seen. If you enjoy science, you owe it to yourself to visit at some point if you ever find yourself in the area.
Lionel Spiro: The H Scientific Museum is a hidden treasure. It is absolutely worth visiting. It is easy to get to, free and fairly small. A half hour might be an average visit, though one can take a few hours getting in to some of the substantive exhibits. The Science Center at Harbard also has a great and inexpensive dining place.

Nick Felker: I don't know if it's appropriate to call this a museum. It's really just a wall of exhibits related to medical advances at MIT. It's free to visit but I can't recommend it. You'll go out of your way just to spend five minutes.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No Price for adult entry Free …More

Vee R: Respecfully, Their parking is really bad. It's terrible, there's no cop to direct traffic or moving cars. It's very disorganized. The displays weren't terrible, they were your standard museum showcases. They have a robot dog. Their elevator didn't work. With all this money, you'd think they would have the sense to fix their infrastructure. It's so disrespectful. We drive 200 miles and it's like you are in purgatory because you can't leave. It's so insulting to the patrons. Just terrible. I've never waited in a line like this and the line did not move for an hour or more. They had the nerve to charge us 30 dollars for sub-par parking.

Alejandro Nuñez-Jimenez: Small but carefully curated museum that provides you with a glance into key elements of Near Eastern cultures. The museum also makes great use of digital tools (e.g., an audio tour you can access with your phone, or an augmented reality app). There are a few stairs but an elevator ensures everyone will be able to visit. It is a good stand-alone visit, but, if you're short on time, I'd suggest complementing it with a visit to Harvard's natural history and Peabody's museums next door. Not crowded on Sunday. Friendly staff. There's also a place to leave your coat while visiting.
Nicole LaBarge: Fairly small museum. The first floor with recreation home was the most interesting part for me. I wish the other floors had more timelines and maps to better place the artifacts they were displaying.
Tonya Twyman: Very informative
Jorge Ceron: Tiene algunos escenarios gratuitos, otros pagos
