E & C Bottle & Can Return: what do users think?
Amy Waltz: Always quick efficient procesing of bottle returns! Far easier than other return methods if you have lots to return. Helpful staff. It is under a roof, but I like that it is pretty much open air with giant open doors. Of course it is a bottle return place - expect a little dirty, noisy. Would be nice to have one in the north side of Cambridge, or Belmont as well for convenience. Thanks for your service to the community and to more sustainable living!
Jason Waters: Super easy, very fast and very friendly.
Joan Anastacio: No habren a la hora mencionada
Jennifer Huang: We had issue before but the owner of this place is very nice and willing to work with us to resolve the issue to our very satisfaction. I would highly recommend this place because of my positive and pleasant experience with this owner, who is very kind, helpful and keeping his word. I could also mention that their recycle policy for glass bottles is 4 Cent per bottle regardless the bottles are packed in the box or not. This is different from other places I have been to for recycling. Make sure you are clear about the recycling policy before you go recycling, especially for the glass bottles.
Joe Avakian: Show up at 2:30 they are closed. Web site says closes at 3 guy says closes at 2. Then he says 2:30. Jerks!
david feeney: Very friendly staff. Customers were considerate and kept safe distance. It was not vending machines; all manual put returns in cardboard trays.
Ryan Hart: Very friendly staff who let you bag counted plastic bottles and cans before you head there (just don’t short-change them!). Still have to sort glass bottles and only get 4 cents/bottle, but totally worth the time you save precounting the other stuff!
Omar Bensaid: Closed every day of the week and weekend.Today May 29th 2020 at 2:30 PM a lady originally from Tibet walked into the E&C BOTTLES AND CANS RETURN and she she had the wrong kinds of cans because they were from New Hampshire the guy that works at the store told her they were not accepted so I gave her some of my cans and wanted her to make some money but he obviously didn't like that and told me not to give it to her and I told him I said it was okay that I was doing it for good deeds and then another gentleman walked in with two full bags of cans and he handed it to her show the guy got more upset and when the lady got paid she was trying to count the amount of money she was handed and was asking the guy if it was the correct amount and just because of her asking that question the guy told her she was causing problems but I told him he should not be talkin to her that way because she was an old lady and she was in her late sixties and I told him that you could be his own mother and he told me to mind my own business and after that and it was my turn to hand in my bottles I had 198 bottles she refused to look at me and turned his back I kept calling him and he did not want to look behind look back and he was ignoring my call for a good 5 minutes so the lady of course walked away and took the money and she accepted and she said I don't want to cause any problems she left so I want the people to know how they treat some people I wasn't like every other customer and Mortgage in Glendora and we have to count all the cans and bottles in small cardboard cases and it takes a long time to count everything if you have a lot but they do make some other customers walk through the back door without Counting that bottles and cans they just hand them a full bag and they asked him how many cans and bottles they have and they believe them for their word. I think it's a discrimination because you cannot privilege some customers and this believe others you should treat all the customers equally especially that lady that was treated as shoe as if she was causing any problems the only reason why they got upset at her is because someone came and gave her so many cans and I gave her some of my cans so someone has to report these people
JOHN WON: It's not a place where u want to sale your cans & bottles. they'll try to fool u sometimes, specially when u have alot of cans & bottles. No es un lugar donde quieras vender tus latas y botellas. intentarán engañarte a veces, especialmente cuando tienes muchas latas y botellas.
Matt LaPine: Crazy and chaotic and a pain if you're new... Pro tip- Count out your cans and bottles and label your bags before you show up.

Second Street Iron & Metal Co., Inc.: what do users think?
Brendan Delaney: Good guys, never had a problem quick in and out, pay in cash 👍
Vilma Miranda: This is good place for the dump metal is good prices nice people good many
James Paolillo: Brought them 2 catalytic converters. They did not enter the serial numbers into their system. Offered me $40 each. Said prices have really come down. Went down the street to Scrap It, they entered into system. Offered $450 for both
Alex Oberle: If u got a lot of steel, copper, cast iron, steel, aluminum go there. Great prices , good people and easy to get to
Kevin Mcgeoghean: Far better place to dump your metal then the competition
Faustino Vieira: It says online they close at 12pm on Saturday got there at 10:50am and the place is already close now I just wast my time, gas to get here for nothing.😡
Abraham Pourghasemi: Way too small of an area for a scrapyard. Very unorganized. Not too long from arrival to departure. No cash counter. Atm style machine scanned ticket and paid recycling reimbursement. Fair light iron price. Overall good experience. Will be back in future.
Justin Tabbi: Best scrap place on the North East staff and Higher UPS are very friendly and kind and respectful They're the only place I go best place
Tri-Value Consultants: Great place to bring metal in most times I've experienced a slight line and had to wait to get in they are so busy. Don't drive on the lot with your brand new tires there's a lot of little pieces of scrap metal around every place... Be sure to watch where you drive your car in the lot carefully.
Glen McAlpin: Simply, the BEST IN BOSTON!!!!! Kind, courteous, helpful,& MOST $$!!!
William S: Very helpful staff. Great for the non-pro.
Hugo Lopez: Good price
Tom C: Scammers beware! These guys paid me only $2.00 for cast iron drums from the rear wheels and brake shoes. It was easily 30-50 lbs in total and they classified it as steel. I asked the guy and he told me that's all the computer has and to go to the guy upstairs in the office who also told me the same thing that steel is the same as iron.Even on the website it classified brake rotors and drums vs other metals.
Mike Viator: I trust them that's the only place I go to. And the employees are very helpful
Ralph Sheffield: Fast and friendly service!
Bryan: Very great for scrap metal
Frank F: Best prices. Great customer service
Francisco Ramirez: Muy bueno
Joe Green: Called an employee on the phone. I asked him a common sense question. And he was a sketch about it. And these people are low lives. Will never use them and highly suggest not going here. Also last time I went here the owner (heavy set guy) said I needed my ID and he weighed my metal while I was going to my truck. And I didn’t even see my metal on the scale. I was short a lot of money. I just didn’t want to say anything because these guys have nothing else to live for and probably try to scare me off...(as I was outnumbered).
kateryn anaya: 👍
eli solodiuk: I love this scrap yard, they are fair. The staff a helpful and knowledgabl. They help unload.

Scrap It, Inc.: what do users think?
Mike T: Great place great service highest prices paid honest people
Dan C: Went in with a load had different types of metal an a little copper guy told me to throw it all in the least paying pile. Eneded up taking the copper in and got the same amount for the copper as I did the whole load.. big time rip off here!!!!
Ray Marchetti: Very slow todayPrices super low. Don't think they paid me correctly
Samuel Smith: Beware of the weigh master. I brought in clean copper and brass and he only put in 77% metal. I’m beyond aggravated I just sat in traffic to come here for a lousy 160$. Horrible , me and my cousin have been coming here but will be taking our business elsewhere! Never have had problems until today.
Teck TeckDriven: Second time there. Staff very friendly and eager to help or answered any questions. I am not really following scrap metal prices but I was always happy with what I got, alway little more than expected. I am just happy that scrap it accepts all types of metals and even circuit boards
Cryptmas: Well hey, it's a scrap yard. Loud tractors and cranes, junkyard dogs and lots of dirty greasy metal. How nice can it be? But I will say they very organized and get you out as quick as is possible for the amount of tedious weighing and separation of metal types. And they pay cash!
Stephen Vizard: Best place to scrap metal good honest people and great service!
Kevin Mcgeoghean: I just open an account with Schnitzer......
Abet Delvalle: Good people great place to go scrap
Andrew “BIG VEC” Vecchio: The best place to bring your metal, I'm there constantly.
Greg ODIN: Friendly, professional service. Great prices!
Angel Tavarez: Nice
Sweetpadre: Very busy, but was in and out of there fast. Fair exchange. The guy at the scale house suffers from neurosis.
19 Shane Silva 79: This place pays good. But go early when there is no traffic. 6 a.m. till 9 a.m. its empty. Gets crowded late in day.
Niko Kotsatos: Really helped out CBI, allowing us to weigh our keel today. Thanks to the friendly guys at Scrap It! (R18/Merc keel weighs in at 280 lbs for those curious).
Williams Brown: This place never show the scale for the customer. We never know how was the weight of the copper. The way don't show the scale looks like scams.
jack smith: Wicked rip off. Other places on 2nd st are much better. This place is a joke. Had all different metals, alloy rims, different aluminums, everything separated, they still gave me mixed price instead of individual ripping me off big time.
David Coronel: There is absolutely nothing negative to say about this business. Paul and the staff are incredibly friendly service and their prices are more than fair. Awesome business
wilman vasquez: Muy buena atencion
Sonita: Was in & out in 5 minutes which was great!! Would definitely come back again!!
Timothy Konick: Definitely the go to for scrapping! I have been to a bunch of different yards and this is the best one.

Rayan Ferreira: I had a really bad experience, horrible customer service.!!!
Emily Urbaez: I don’t know who answered the phone . But he was very rude
Ross Carson: Great place, great staff --very helpful! This is 'my tire guy' for over 20 yrs.Good selection of tires at a good price. They mount the tire for free and even let you use their jack to remove & remount your wheel, in their driveway! Awsome!... I'm always happy to go see them again.))
Hanry Riechelmann: I've only had one experience with this place and it was not good. Whoever answered the phone was extremely rude. I was asking a simple question about availability of a product and the person on the phone just interrupted me saying they were no longer open and hung up on me
