Danik 1111: I was at the restaurant yesterday, the waiter deducted more tips from my card than I indicated in the receipt
Matt Connolly: $15 for the "kids pasta"
Jason Spero (speroman): Great meal with a big group. Service and food were spot on.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
AISHWARYA SRIVASTAVA: Recommended dishes Grilled Octopus, Carbonara, Arrosticini, Panzerotti, Quattro StagioniMore
Ramit Bhalla: Let’s talk about the good stuff first, the service was great and the cocktails were decent (lacked a punch but good flavors and presentation). The presentation of the food was excellent and everything looked great. The desert was decent, not too sweet and yet you can tell the deconstructed flavors. That’s about where the good stuff stops. The food was deeply underwhelming, 8 us and there was food left on every plate by the end of the evening. The grilled octopus was tough and charred, the pasta was under done and hard, the burrata was average it lacked flavor while the bread was soggy, the anti pasto while nicely wrapped was stringy and lacked flavor, the bread stick was soft and chewy. The pizza had a great base but the pepperoni was overly salty and didn’t taste right. The only truly edible meat was the meatballs which was nothing to write home about either. The only decent dish for the evening was Arrosticini. Overall I expected decent quality food from a place like this with its price positioning. Won’t be dining here again.
Matthew Hendrix: Sat at the bar and had one of their pizzas. Very yummy.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Jon Happe: The service was horrible. It took 10 minutes for our server to acknowledge us after being seated, forgot multiple ordered items, and at one point, walked away from my debit card sitting at the server station. The good food and fantastic assistance from the food runners (who we saw more than our server) couldn’t make up for it. Next time, I think I’ll wait an hour for Cafe Luna a couple doors down the street.
Sungmin Hwang: Nice ambiance and staff but food was average. Got the mascarpone French toast.
Jesse Tordoff: Great Sunday morning brunch!
Ben Perlmutter: I arrived between 5:00pm and 5:10pm today and found a restaurant so empty that I wasn't even sure it was open when I was looking from outside. When I walked in, the hostess was on the phone, acknowledged me, and was helped by a waiter (maybe the head waiter?) who came and received my "table for one" request. The waiter offered to seat me at the bar, and indicated that his tables had reservations. I said no, I didn't want to sit at the bar, and he ... in a rather negative/complainey tone, indicated his tables were reserved for 6pm, and that I would have to leave by 6.From my perspective at this point, my first impression was that the restaurant was very inhospitable. It's not my problem when your tables have to be available, and I shouldn't be made to feel awkward when being seated by being told that this completely empty restaurant has reservations in about an hour. Frankly, eating alone, it's highly unlikely I would take anywhere near an hour to eat, and if the restaurant was mostly full, I would understand the desire to keep tables open or communicate that I could only be there for a limited time, but for a completely empty restaurant, that's completely irrelevant. The initial bad impression colored my whole visit. After that, the service was good. The waitress came and brought out water quickly and took my order right away, as I was already ready. My food came quickly, though the person who delivered it was mumbling, and I had a hard time understanding what they were saying. Had it been busy or had I been distracted, it would have just been confusing. The food was okay, but when I order a $30 carbonara, I don't expect the pasta to be undercooked. I like my noodles al dente, but I expect that they won't be mealy or almost crunchy. Aside from that issue (which is a big one at an Italian restaurant), the food was good. The portion initially looked extremely small, as it was plated in such a way as to make it look even smaller than it was, but it turned out to be the perfect amount, despite me being particularly hungry, eating lunch at 5:30pm.While I was eating, it was a little awkward, because there was a waiter walking circles around the empty restaurant, glowering and looking pretty antsy, though when I finished, I received a dessert menu quickly and upon deciding not to order dessert, I received my check quickly and was out well before the 6pm I had been provided upon arriving. In any case:First impression/initial service: 1/5Later service/tone of service: 4/5Food Quality: 3/5Speed of Service: 5/5Ambiance: 2/5 (empty restaurant, music was already too loud - I can't imagine how loud it gets in there when it's full)Overall: 3/5Some suggestions for the proprietor:- Have some 2-tops that aren't the bar. The smallest table I saw was a 4-top. That makes it hard in a busy downtown area to serve couples or singles coming in for a meal. It would have probably felt like a smaller impact to the head waiter if he could have seated me at a 2-top rather than a 4-top. You could easily make some of the 4-tops that are tables into adjacent 2-tops that you combine into 4-tops for larger parties.
Henri Triu: Food was uneven. Some dishes were good, others needed work.. Nice service. Was relaxing and an enjoyable experience.Food: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Bianca Young: Great drinks, good wine selection and the service was great. I do wish the menu had a few more options but overall had a great time and would come back.

Shashwat P. Baxi: Overall, this restaurant has a lot of promise. For vegetarians interested in Italian food, you’d think we would have no problem enjoying our meal here. However, I wasn’t thrilled with the entree selection (other than pizza) given the flavors of the pasta that were served. I found the eggplant pasta dish to be way too sweet and the other diners weren’t thrilled with their cacio e pepe. I’m sure the non-veg dishes were better, but the vegetarian pasta options weren’t up to par.
K Brennan: Excellent!! The food was incredible and our waitress was great! Everything came our quickly and tasted delicious. We got the panzerotti and crab cakes for an appetizer. For dinner Cacio E Pepe, Wild Boar Ragu, & Chicken Parm, all so so good! The drinks were really yummy as well!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Chase Parisi: Solid dinner option with a variety of menu options. We had the grilled octopus (which was my favorite), the insalata di casa which was good, and the cacio e Pepe which was also pretty good. The cocktails are also great. It took 30 minutes before we were seated even though we had a reservation, but aside from this we had a great time and I would go back.
Sean Seungwon Jeong: Liked the atmosphere and food

Ben Richards: been eating this pie for nearly 30 years and it still slaps. really great sauce
Christian Espinosa Schatz: I've been coming here for years and have always loved the pizza, so I'm sad to report a striking drop in quality the last few months. The pizzas have been come out soggy or undercooked. Somebody has stopped paying attention to the basics.I really hope that they'll fix this issue and I can change my review back to 5 stars. Until then I might have to find a new go-to pizza spot.

Samhita Saquib: Love the pistachio pesto pizza and the bittersweet symphony cocktail! Their outdoor patio seating is really nice in the spring/summer, and the service is awesome. My boyfriend and I went on our first date at Viale in May 2021. I remember there was a staff member of the restaurant taking photos of the patio that evening. I reached out to them in April 2022 to ask if they still had photos from a year prior, and if they would be able to find the one of me and my bf on our first date so I could get it printed/framed as a gift. The person who took the photos went through ALL of her pics from that long ago...and found it for us (see attached)!!! I so appreciated this and look forward to going back as we hit our 2-year mark this spring.
bryan wright: Okay! From the walk up to the walk out this spot is the vibe!! I’ve never been to such vibrant and social place. Shauna and Greg came out and actually gave a damn how our evening went! Jea Kim: Came here with a last minute reservation on a weekday. It seemed like a lot of people were coming here after work for their daily dollar oysters from 5 to 7, but we were still able to snag one of their private booth seatings. The dollar oysters were very small but still good enough to satisfy our cravings. We then tried the saffron arancini and the smoked beet salad. The salad was plain, but the saffron arancini came with a palatable sauce that left us wanting for more.Standout dishes from the entrées were the lumache and the seared salmon. Spicy breadcrumbs and clams added nice textures to the lumache, and I liked that the garlic white wine sauce had a good amount of acidity which usually works well with seafood pastas. Forking a piece of salmon with a concoction of celeriac purée, shaved celery, Umbrian lentils, and pomegranate was also a transformative experience. The sweetness from the pomegranate perfectly complemented the slightly bitter and acidic taste from the shaved celery, and each bite was a sheer bliss. My only complaint was that the pistachio pesto pizza was overcooked, and it was quite difficult to bite through the bread. Otherwise, everything from the service to the food were flawless, and I would definitely come back for a casual weekday dinner with my friends or colleagues.Parking: Paid parking lot behind McDonalds
Gavin Kleespies: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Raj Sheth: Stopped by here for a drink.I had their negroni on tap - and while I wanted to love it, the vermouth was just so overpowering that it was a lot sweeter vs well balanced. Can't speak to the food or service really as we only came in to kill time.
Darren Smith: Outstanding food. For take-out/delivery this is definitely a splurge given the small portion sizes and the high prices but coupled with the dining in experience (which I haven't had a chance to experience yet) it wouldn't even be a thought in my mind. The menu consists primarily of contemporary Italian food - let's call it Italian-lite. The shaved brussel salad is equal parts shredded Brussel sprouts and blue cheese garnished with crunchy slices of pepper and quinoa and a spectacular Dijon vinaigrette. It is incredibly rich and decadent, and it is a salad with probably as many calories as a Big Mac... but worth it.The salmon tartare is yolky rich with a briny/salty finish accompanied by house-made chips. It is absolutely phenomenal. I think I would prefer more of a cracker to cut the richness of the tartare, but the chips are delicious. The chicken parm sandwich was a bit of a disappointments. To me, chicken parm sandwiches (or heroes as they say where I'm from in NY) should be crunchy chicken and crunchy bread. Unfortunately, this was soft and flimsy like a fast-food chicken sandwich with a dab of sauce and cheese on it. I would skip this for sure. The lumache is a think pasta dish drenched in oil and breadcrumbs with delicious fresh shellfish mixed in. Again, it is absolutely decadent.Viale is at the top of the list for really inventive and creative modern Italian-style food. As long as you have a few spare notches in your belt, it is a must-try if you are in the Boston/Cambridge area.
Jack Curtin: Best Italian in the city! Perfect balance of innovative, esoteric culinary execution that never forgets to please your stomach and your taste buds. Viale's menu is chock full of cravable dishes that will keep foodies and newbies alike coming back for more. Well done Viale!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Duck Croquettes, Potato Gnocchi, Pistachio Pesto, Viale Meatballs, Oysters on the Half Shell …More
David Rand: Great cocktail, good food. Menu is a bit limited but quality is high.
Shahrier Emon: Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Sarah Wang: $1 oysters were mind blowing! They were from New Brunswick and so tasty and fresh! I also tried the salmon tartare and Nduja pizza. They were okay, and I would not come back for them. Will definitely be back for the oysters, vibes, and good service though!!!

Beauty's Pizza: what do users think?
syeda tabassum: I had an amazing experience last night at beauty's pizza restaurant with a best hookah place at outside arena with my friends. The ambience was great & the mocktails we ordered were amazing. The food was delicious & I really enjoyed the overall atmosphere. Good mood lighting. The staff was incredibly welcoming & helpful. Especially Mo is great & he had a great customer service as well as he is quick to take care of customer needs. Overall I had wonderful experience and I would highly recommend this business to others
PR Even: Great pizza! What else is there to say?!
Casey Kroll: I wouldn’t expect fine dining here but if you’re looking for a fast and greasy late-night option, look no further
Dean Pappademos: Worst pizza we have ever had. Bar none. The cheese tasted sour
M A: I ordered a margarita pizza and it wasn't good. The basil was cooked with the pizza and is inedible as is! The overall taste was disappointing. I honestly didn't even want to go there and had placed an order at Cinderella pizza but they didn't declare online that they are the same even though it's listed under a different address. There is a much better pizza around town! This one is not good.
Kathleen Clinton: Many choices and friendly staff

John Bump: I ordered the chicken pesto, and they forgot the chicken and used a cheap pesto with sunflower oil instead of olive oil. Way too oily for me, I couldn't stomach it.Food: 2/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Ari Machtinger: Super confused about the deal with the business that owns this place, it seems like it was bought out? Anyway excellent pizza. 2nd time I've said that about a local place in boston
Ethan Lindstrom: Ordered online and our two pizzas were ready in 15 minutes. The toppings and sauce were decent, but we didn't like the crust (had no flavor and was quite thin, even on the edge....sort of seemed like it didn't proof/rise well)(So 4 stars for speed and toppings, but 2 stars for crust....)
Tamiris Lima: Hanna and Gustavo are the nicest people I have ever met. I definitely recommend this place
Nayma Baptista: Hanna and Gustavo were very nice. Loved every minute here. It’s chilled. A nice spot to spend time with ur friends.
Melat Tadesse: We met Hanna and Gustavo, they were amazing and the service was top notch
Anthony Puzyn: A pizza abomination
Rimmal Khan: Excellent hookah and friendly servers
K A Y L A: Ordered a pepperoni pizza, fries and a Pepsi. The pizza (which is supposedly down the street) came over an hour late — there were less than 5 or so pepperonis on the pizza, and the fries were soggy. The restaurant costumer service didn’t help us at all. Wasted $20+ smh. Im surprised the Pepsi didn’t come to us as a Coke.
Akiko M: I like their variety of food to choose from. Their menu is full of unique and traditional food! Only missing star is from the looks of the store. It doesn't look professional nor even a restaurant to get proper food.Vegetarian options: There are menus that says for vegetarians. Though, I never tried it since I eat anything.
Mark Victor: This place makes a decent Italian sub - considering the honey ham in lieu of the traditional mortadella I give it 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️
Cyrus Williams: Solid pizza and wonderful folks. Helped me look for an earbud I dropped under their fridge for nearly a half an hour. Happy to report that we found it eventually :)
Leo Espinoza: Absolutely awful pizza. Literally was the hungriest I've ever been and since they didn't even sell slices I ordered the smallest meat lovers I could get. It barely had an meat on it and the sauce tasted like lunchables pizza sauce. The cheese was like cheese stickS from the grocery store. The worst pizza I've ever had since highschool. DONT EAT HERE.
Jesse Galloway: The kind of pizza place you want to order from. The dude has a serious Italian accent in the place smells like the most amazing pizza in the world. Alexis Newman: The headline of this review is: GET THE PISTACHIO GELATO. It doesn’t matter if you’re full after all the delicious pasta. The gelato is perfect in every way - flavor, texture, accompaniments. The portion size is large, definitely enough to share between 2-3 people. The rest of the meal was well prepared and tasty. We tried the chicken liver crostini, the erbazzone, bucatini all’amatriciana, tagliatelle bolognese, and pappardelle with wild boar. Our favorite of all was the pappardelle. The food here is thoughtfully crafted and prepared perfectly.
Hunter Nemitz: Our waitress was very delightful and happy to explain and joke with us about the silly names for things on the menu. The food was fantastic, in particular the cherry gelato. Such a nice place to go for dinner worth every penny.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Affogato, Chicken Liver Crostini with Green Tomato Marmellata, Pappardelle with Wild Boar …More
Andy Palmer: Giulia is truly one of the most exceptional dining experiences of my life. Michael is a culinary artist like no other.
Yulia Sidi: The food is nice, however totally overpriced. The service was pretty good, but on a slow side.
Andrew Hills: The other reviews have covered the amazing food. They're absolutely right. What really stands out to me about Giulia is the next level service from the whole staff. It was very impressive, a real fine dining experience. The pacing of meal and drink delivery was perfect, which really defined the experience for me—we always had just enough at our table for the moment, and they never missed a beat. I have yet to see any other restaurant in the Boston area run a ship as tight as this. We couldn't stop talking about it for the rest of the night.Vegetarian options: About a third of the menu is vegetarian, with good variety. The wait staff will highlight them if they know you're vegetarian.
Liz Harty: We reserved the pasta table for a big family dinner. The family style menu was amazing. They accommodated allergies and one vegetarian diner and they loved their plates also. Each dish just as great as the last - and there was so much food. Sometimes tasting menus have really small portions but not here. Cocktails and wine were also perfect. Ambiance was fun and lively.
Amna Ali: Loved this place! Great hostess and waitress that really took care of us and our allergies/dietary restrictions. Rarely been to a place with staff so knowledgeable 😍
Alex Zhu: The service here is outstanding, but the food was seriously lacking. Tried three pastas and they were all underwhelming. As a pâté lover, I was surprised to find that the chicken liver crostinis straight up tasted like vom. The best dish of the night turned out to be the prosciutto, which required the least effort to prepare. All of the microgreens used were limp. Been looking forward to trying this place for years, huge let down for sure.
pika: The chicken liver bites were alright.Tried 3 pastas, they were all way too salty, including the famous wild boar pappardelle. The daily special pasta with mussels and razor clams etc. had sand inside the shellfish, which is understandable for dishes with shellfish, but still a disappointment for restaurants like this. The portions of the pasta were small, which was great since they were all so salty that I really would not want to eat more.Liked the deserts, especially the raspberry sorbet that came with the panna cotta and the minty taste of the panna cotta itself. Pistachios gelato is also good.Service: they got our order wrong once. And the serving of the food is a bit slower that ideal. We had to wait for about 5 min between courses of dishes.Overall: desserts are good. Bites and appetizers are fun, but pastas are just disappointing and boring. Not worth the hype or the money.
Alecia Breeggemann: We signed up for the bar wait list knowing it would be up to two hours. Had a drink across the street and got in after an hour as others had canceled. It was amazing. And we are picky when spending more than our standard restaurant budget. The bar service was great. The bartenders were knowledgeable and attentive. We had the cauliflower soup, the beef tortelli, a seafood special, and the cheese plate. The stand out was the cauliflower soup. Incredibly creamy with flavorful accompaniments. Everything else was wonderful as well. The total after tip was about 200 with two (excellent) cocktails and two wines. More than we generally spend but well worth it, even taking into account the 3.5 mile walk from downtown.
T. Z: The food is good. For antipasti I had erbazzone it was impressive. Portion is small tho for its price.Recommended dishes Antipasti …More
Dana Blackman Brown: Gulia was an amazing experience. We started out with a ricotta and spinach pie (tbh it was underwhelming), and our mains were rich and delicious. The real star of the show was the dessert. The affagoto rocked our world. I would say the pasta was great, but not earth shattering. It’s a treat to have great Italian food on this side of the River. That being said — the North End has spots that definitely beat Gulia.
George Esper: La comida es excelente, pero demasiado caro. Gastamos 245 dólares entre 4, solo pedimos 4 platos principales y 2 entradas. Nos cobraban cada recarga de gaseosa.
Saul Lustgarten: One of the best italian places in Cambridge, the home made pasta is delicious, great atmosphere and drinks.

Nat Tangpipith: Love this restaurant! Made reservation for dinner at 5:30pm and despite long line when the restaurant open, we were promptly seated. Our waiter is friendly and food came out fast. Great quality ingredient, flavor combination, and fast/attentive service. Good place for family, friends, romantic night out, and many more. Glad we had a chance to visit this gem in Boston! Note: Warm Semolina Cake highly recommended.
Laura Perry: Excellent food. Amazing service. Staff able to address a food allergy with confidence!

Robert L: The people and the atmosphere are great. No problems with service, and even the pizza is made well and not absolutely terrible.I'm giving it 3 stars for the specific pizza we tried (duck confit) It was made well, the crust was good, the toppings weren't too heavy, and the cheese wasn't too stringy. It also wasn't greasy. So this is all good. Why the 3 stars? The flavor of the actual pizza (duck confit) We were reviewing it for our personal content we put out and realized in the process of filming that we would never order that pizza a second time. After the first bite, it was unpleasant. When I think about a pizza or any food for that matter, I like to ask, would I eat this again? We didn't want it after the second bite. Much less another slice.I am willing to bet other pizzas there are fine, and I would imagine changing the ingredients on this pizza would help. It doesn't do well with blue cheese and Buffalo. You would think it would, but it gives an unpleasant aftertaste.I totally applaud the efforts for trying something different and cooking outside the box. I, again, am willing to bet other pizzas there are fine, give their classic marg. a try, and I'm sure you will be pleased. I don't recommend the one I had and wouldn't get it again. We may try another pizza here in the future and see how we like it.I recommend trying their pizzas, and maybe you can confirm my distain for the one I tried if you are willing to dare.
Eric Song: My go-to quick eats place in boston. The pizza is fresh and tasty, and very very cheap. The daily rotating Funky slice is always adventurous yet delicious.I recommend skipping on getting a full pie - getting an assortment of slices is cheaper.
Adam Butterworth: My favorite slice in Cambridge is the Atomic Meatloaf Meltdown.
Jude Alfaro: Great spot for pizza by the slice and love their funky pizza combosFood: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Toby Mallon: Amazing pizza and great home made Arnold palmers. Seems pricey until they give you a quarter of amazing pizza
Iaroslav Iakubivskyi: Ok place. Pizza wasn’t fresh, toilet did not work, solid 3 stars.
Raj Vinjamuri: The funky slice was fantastic. Good combo of diverse ingredients.Edit: came back. Even better.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Andrew Zoller: Solid pizza in a small little joint. Beers and sodas for sale as well, with a few tables for dining. Pizza is New York style.
Caasi: Expensive for a slice of pizza :(
Lobitos Brasil: Best pizza. Perfect service. Great experience for me and the whole family.
Miles: Ya it’s yum for sure but damn it’s a lot of $ for some pizza
