The Charles Hotel: what do users think?
Thomas Nechyba: This used to be my favorite hotel. I would look forward to arriving, exercising in a wonderful facility, taking a dip in the pool and enjoying the hot tub, etc. Unfortunately, this facility has closed -- and been replaced by a fairly plain exercise room. I recently arrived and the staff bragged about the opening of this faculty -- and asked for my opinion once I experienced it. So that's my opinion. The check-in staff also bragged that the mini-bar in the room was back and asked if I wanted a key to the mini bar. I said yes -- and ended up opening the mini bar in the middle of my third night. It was empty. Somehow, the hotel has not managed to get back to what it used to be. I hope they will. At the price they charge, I don't see how they can keep things this way.

Jordan Holmes: Stayed at this hotel for a show in Cambridge and was impressed with the cleanliness, staff, and location! Room was spacious and very comfortable. Valet was a breeze to use. Amenities were definitely lacking considering the price but they did seem to all be only temporarily unavailable.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Sara Foley: The Charles Hotel was the perfect home for our wedding weekend on December 31, 2022. No one could've taken care of us, our family, and our friends better. From the months prior of expert planning with Jennifer Halpin, to the day of execution, on a holiday no less, with the most pleasant staff... we were blown away. The reservations team, including Ariana Ricci, was responsive and kind while handling our large, ever-changing, room block. The driveway team, including Zafar, Phil, Fauod, German and Dan, were prompt and extremely helpful with our CARTS full of belongings. The front desk team, led by Sumit Tuladhar, was so attentive and efficient. And then the banquet team, led by Jim, ... is just the best of the BEST. Patti, Stephen, Tim, Wilson, Edin, Mostafa, Rob, Said. It took a village, and family, to pull this wedding off.And a shout out to one of the wedding banquet servers, Pam. She was there at the wedding Saturday night until 12:30am, and then we saw her at 10:00am when we went down the breakfast. And she was smiling and gushing about our wedding. First of all, what a champion, but to do it all with the biggest smile... it truly made our day the next day.We can't say enough. And we couldn't be more grateful.
David Stickney: Mostly visit Noir the bar on the lower lobby area. Great bar and food but the best serviceRooms: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Traveler: A wonderful stay around Christmas. Booked under Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts and surpassed expectations. Staff was great. Room was well appointed. Henrietta's table had a wonderful breakfast. The location of the Charles cannot be beat. We look forward to returning.+ shout out to Alex at the front who was particularly helpful.
Lukas A.: Great hotel with very friendly staff. Fitness room is a little bit of a euphemism. Cafe ok. Beds are amazing and interior throughout the hotel very nice.
Sharon Peterson: To Alex, Jennifer and the entire staff at The Charles Hotel,You helped us achieve all of our daughter’s and new son in law’s wedding of their dreams. From the minute we arrived to the end of an enchanted wedding reception we are all so very grateful. A wedding is not an easy event to plan, however you and your staff made it look easy! Thank you for everything we couldn’t be happier today. The parents of the bride,Jeff and Sharon
Michael Roberson: Nearby activities: It is in a good area of townFood & drinks: Just love the restaurant, great service and food
Kathryn Sheehan: I always park here when I see a show at ART. It's only $14 for evening parking!

josina sabino: The place is amazing. The staff is super ,extremely friendly from the moment you walk into the building until you leave. The girls at the Bru are the great!!!!An extraordinary place.Every thing is outstanding and thd place is super super clean!!!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Frank Wunderlich: We stayed in the Encore Boston Harbor for three days in summer 2022.We had the most fantastic time and enjoyed the hotel and the facilities very much. The staff was outstanding. We highly recommend the encore suites. We will definitely be back.
Ronald Mainville: We didn't know what to expect when we got here. The Rooms are awesome. Spacious, comfortable, contemporary. They have several restaurants on site. The local Shake Shack and pizza are decent. The steak house "Rare" is top notch. We had got an Uber very quickly in front of the resort and explored Boston.Treat yourself, definitely stay here !
Mak Lovric: Very high rake, no free drinks when playing poker, pays 6-5 on blackjack .. enough said. Go to Foxwoods or MoheganRooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Drea Catalano: The venue itself is beautiful.Under no circumstances should you use their valet parking service. They are chronically understaffed according to their "managers", who will then gaslight you and try to blame you for their problems of retrieving your vehicle... They have no sense of timeliness nor do they care about dealing with the issues they created... I have been treated poorly before but "managers" of valet, Xhenis and Erica were awful and I pity the person who entrusts either of these individuals with their vehicleSELF PARK Free Valet, $20 expedited Valet are both lies and will cost you if you have any plans
Victoria Gelmi: Free parking is awesome, sign on bonuses are great - beautiful casino. Wish the drinks service was a little better - can never find them and could go an hour without someone coming by!
Ana Galvao: Everything about this hotel was great: beautiful room, tasty food , definitely recommend Fratellies Restaurant, friendly staff and a perfect location! From there, you can easily get to all the beautiful places and must sees! Great place to celebrate every speacial occasion. I give this casino an overrall 10!! Winner.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Romantic, Quiet, Great value …More
Al Silva: Place is amazing 5 star all the way.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Luxury …More
Guerdy Ariste: Beautiful hotel, feels like royalty.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Fritz Eichelberger: Great hotel, solid dining options and beautiful design. We stayed for 4 days / 3 nights for a business conference. Great attention to detail, service, friendly staff and more. Why not 5 stars? The inconsistency of the A/C in our room. I’d set it for high fan and in the 60s but we would wake up each night as the room felt warm. This was a common heard complaint by many other attendees.
Cailin O'Flaherty: My husband, parents, and I absolutely loved Encore! The food and service at Fratelli were top-notch. The casino was so fun, and the lights were amazing to see! The hotel rooms were incredible, and we had amazing views of Boston. We will definitely be back!!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
scott !: I got kicked out because I had a bag but people were able to walk in with huge pocketbooks. How is this right?

Battery Wharf Hotel Boston Waterfront: what do users think?
Qianqian Fan: Extremely disappointed. Before arriving I thought the place would be nice based on what I saw from the picture. While the location is certainly great and the room overall is decent, like some reviews have pointed out the service is just horrible. I ordered delivery on my first day and when I called the front desk, the woman said they haven't received anything. I had to get up and check myself - guess what my food was already there. Very frustrated. They also charge me an amenities fee of $87 without notifying me beforehand. It was a business trip so I never thought I'd be charged. Simply ridiculous. I tried to contact them. No one answered and the voicemail is a dead-end.There was also a broken light bulb which never got repaired. They do have spacious room space despite everything.I love Boston but I have only one advice for people who consider this place: DON'T.
DBA Visual Director: Friendly staff and love the view!
Ann Seigler: I still recall the wonderful aroma that comes from the hotel. Beautiful sites, Great centralized location. Bathroom was A+ Nice room. People were super niceNearby activities: Walking distance from TD Garden
Anna Zbacnik (a to z library): Great location on the North End. Rooms are nice— looks like they could upgrade the carpet.
Kristen Scerbinski: Checked in and walked into our room and immediately was disgusted. None of the surfaces were cleaned (there were ring marks on every surface), the bathroom had hair on the floor and soap scum and grime all over the shower, the black leather bed frame had white dried stains on it... I'll let you put 2 and 2 together, stains on the walls and carpet. The hotel denied my refund and said the room was clean. I asked for a manager to come with us so we could point out everything to her. The manager said to me "I think you just have a different level of cleanliness." After 45 mins of arguing in the lobby they finally refunded us. Rude staff. Unsanitary. 100% do not recommend.
Georgianna Brunton: Great location, very friendly & helpful staff!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view, Quiet, Great value …More
Sheri Turlington: This is a fantastic hotel if you come to Boston for work. The rooms are so nice and spacious and still leave room for a nice work setup. Even though I had a spacious desk and chair, I enjoyed working from the recliner chair looking out at the water view window. It made my work day so lovely. The hotel is so affordable and in such an amazing area. You can walk to a fabulous lunch or dinner and BOVAS! Can't believe I got to see and do so many cool Boston things in such a short trip. The hotel staff are so friendly and kind as well. I can't wait to come back for leisure.
Aub Driver: Stunning hotel on the Boston Harbor. Rooms are extremely spacious (though a bit dated) with massive walk-in showers. Nice dining experience on the first floor. There's no parking, so you must valet. Upshot is you can walk to everything in the north end in 10 minutes.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great value …More
Dave Champman: Remember to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking any resort. They compare thousands of booking web sites and normally will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This place is one of the most well known in this area. I've been coming here for a very long time. If you stay for a few days you for sure won't be disappointed. We stayed here with our infant son and we’re nervous before arriving - the staff that the Battery Wharf were the best I have ever had. This is my first review for a hotel I’ve ever written and I travel a lot for work but I was honestly blown away. Tony and Ruben went out of there way not just for us but visibly for every other guest interaction we saw. The hotel seems understaffed but they did not let that impact their attitude or the attention they gave to us. For anyone traveling with a baby, they made this so easy and had a great crib and accommodated with a room that had an alcove hallway so that it felt like the baby was in a different room.
Carol: The room itself was okay, but the customer service at this place is awful. We booked a room with 2 double beds for 3 adults, and paid for this a month in advance. We checked in late in the evening and as soon as we got to our room, we saw only one double bed and a maintenance guy was following us with a fold out twin bed. So, the reception desk knew that they were giving us only 1 bed, and chose not to say anything about it at check in. Nice. I called the front desk and they said that there was a "maintenance issue" causing the beds to go "offline". No idea what that even means. Beds are not printers, and as far as I know, beds do not "go offline". I think that they oversold the hotel and since our flight got in late, we got stuck with only one bed. They could not move us to a double room until the next evening, and then the room that they tried to move us into was about half of the size of the room with only one bed, did not have a refrigerator, and did not have a tea kettle (important to us). We asked for a mini fridge and they said that their rooms could not guarantee a fridge. We ended up in our original room and made do with the pullout single bed because the double room was so inferior. They also charge a $25 plus tax per day "amenities fee" for things which should be basic at any 3 or 4 star hotel, like bottled water, 2 tea bags, access to the harbor walk (which has nothing to do with the hotel from what I can tell), etc. After talking to 3 different people, they did end up waiving the amenities fee for the inconvenience to us, but this should have never happened to begin with. Also, one of the women working in reception was extremely rude and should not have a job in the hospitality industry. The attitude was that we were lucky to even have a room for the night. On the plus, there is a nice view of the harbor and the shower was modern. Rooms could do with updating but it was clean, and our double bed was comfortable. The manager on duty when we checked out (a man, did not get his name) was at least nice and did waive that amenity fee for us. I would not stay here again or recommend this hotel, unfortunately.
Soozie Hetterscheidt: Meh at best. If you are unfortunate enough in being placed in any building away from registration don’t expect much.Booked a room with a bay room (with the up charge) and was placed in a room with a side eye view of the bay.No door person to help open doors when you arrive/depart with bags.Wasn’t a terrible stay, but not worth coming back to.
Matthew Cook: Lovely location right on the river with amazing views and a quick walk to everywhere we needed to get too! Room was spotless and daily cleaned with fresh coffee pods for the next day 🙌
Miguel Velez: Would have been 5 stars but I rented a room for a nite at almost 400 and we did that because of location and the fact we could sleep. So wrong about the sleeping part. They knocked at my door at 8am to clean our room and then alarm went off and we had to get up from bed to go outside for an hour. No explanation or emergency....wish I could have slept!
Greg Finney: Very nice, week appointed, spacious rooms.Rooms: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury …More
Heather Lovele: Very unprofessional manager. I am a frequent visitor of this hotel and wont be back. The conversation began when my fiance and I were checking into the hotel. I was standing beside my fiance holding yoga mats as the manager asked him if he does yoga. She continued speaking directly to him and said he should come over her place for some yoga. He responded, oh you teach yoga? She said no and started laughing. And he just looked at me. Very unprofessional. After that she had the audacity to give him her business card as she wrote her name on it. He immediately handed it to me and we walked away. I didn't want to cause a scene as there were other people in the lobby but she was very disrespectful and unprofessional. She should not be a manager for such a nice place as the battery wharf
Zheng Han: Avoid this one. Worst service ever with a hotel/motel. I booked from Bank of America travel agency (GoDo travel) but after the stay the hotel charged separately and gave me a receipt showing only ambiguous items such as local fees. Have to call multiple times, both GoDo travel and Battery Wharf have been shirking and asking to call the other party. None of the thugs were even able to give you a compete folio of the itemized fees and keep dropping your calls.
Debra Sparks: This place is a dump! Save yourself and book elsewhere! Arrived exhausted from travel to find my prepaid/reserved room in need of repair and lacking basic supplies. Not what you would expect from high-priced accommodation. A sickly sweet deodorant permeates the air.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 3/5 …More

AALIS: Premium stay at great location. I got room with Boston park view, a great room. It is spacious, clean, and elegant.Surrounded with restaurants, cafe, convenience store, pharmacy, and shops in walking distance.
S D: Lovely hotel. I miss the restaurants there and Hope post construction it’ll be better than before.
Joe Enfield: , loved the hotel, staff was nothing but the best, also the room service food was A1 and I don't think I could have found her better hotel in the city.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Donny Dasilva: Very nice hotel
Yves Gagnon: The classical and typical "Four Seasons" At Boston or Montreal, the personal make you feel important. You are the star of the day. Highly recommended.
Kenny L: Everything is great, room, pool, gym, in room dinning and service. The only thing is they are renovating at the ground level. Love the vault.Rooms: The most quiet room I've ever been to, there is not a single thing that can create any noise, no clock, no fan. Every detail of the room is well thought and makes perfect sense.
Tim Ortez: Wow! Excellent accommodations and service. Rooms are fabulous. So many amenities included. Centrally located. Close to restaurants and shopping. Short walk from financial district too. The best in Boston.
Joelle O’Hagan: Wow! I can't even begin to describe how magical my wedding was at the Four Seasons Boston. It couldn't have been more perfect and all thanks to the amazing team onsite. Philip Deschamps is top notch. He is so easy to work with, friendly, passionate about what he does, has great suggestions and kept all of the vendors on task and on time. The team was so accommodating from the moment we booked with them. Everything went smoothly from the catering, rentals, décor, flow of events, room blocks, cocktail hour, morning after brunch, etc. They are true professionals, including the concierge, waitstaff, chef, valet, etc. The food was incredible! Our guests are still talking about how amazing our wedding weekend was and I'm so thankful for everyone at the hotel for making it the best day of our lives. There is nothing that I would change, and I can't wait to relieve it through our photography and videography!
Boston Golfer: No longer a 5 star. We used to come here often prior to the pandemic and this was our first visit afterwards. I called the reservations line to book a reservation and was placed on hold on multiple occasions and was never able to speak with a person. Therefore I booked a reservation online and was surprised that much of the property is under construction when we arrived. Guests should be informed of the limited services and construction on the website. Our room was also not ready when we arrived and there was really no sitting area or restaurant to wait. The suggestion was to wait upstairs in a ballroom filled with loud dehumidfiers and unfinished tables or upgrade to a presidents suite for an additional $2,500 per night. ??? The valet and foyer has been shrunken for construction, Bristol lounge is closed and lunch is currently not being served. The jacuzzi/hot tub by the pool was also closed due to leaks. We ordered room service several times and they either forgot an entree or the food was too salty on multiple occasions. The hotel overall feels tired and had I known, I would have tried the newer Four Seasons on Dalton street. This will no longer be our go-to staycation getaway in the city.
Justin Cook: Q: What is better than staying at the four seasons?A: Absolutely nothing!I mean, does your hotel even have “the vault”? No, I didn’t think so.
Emily Luthra: Outstanding service at this Four Seasons. The staff were extremely helpful in accommodating multiple requests, including helping us ship some stuff home and moving us to a quieter room due to some early morning construction. The rooms were beautiful, and the food from room service was excellent (as is usual for four seasons). Overall what stands out the most is the staff assistance with lots of little things that made our stay there truly easy and delightful.Walkability: Next to Boston Common

Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport: what do users think?
Roger Williams: Stayed here for a conference. Food is great, but on floor coffee machines would either not work or could not get hot chocolate at all. Across the street from the conference center, next time, I'll try staying at the Weston, which has a walkway to the conference center. Helps on rainy... days.Walkability: Across the street from the conference center.Food & drinks: Hotel restaurant downstairs has amazing food.
Mark Bolden: I enjoyed my stay here, the hotel is beautiful and my room was spacious and comfortable. The staff did a great job cleaning up.Don’t forget to bring your bathing suit, there’s a heated pool and jacuzzi. Also, apparently there are water stations on every floor. If you don’t see bottled water in your room, don’t worry.

Omeed Aminipour: Omni did a great job. The location in the Seaport is excellent if you want to get anywhere in Boston or Logan Airport. My room was large clean and had a great view. Everyone was friendly. The best part was spending time at The Sporting Club thanks to your legendary Barkeep Dennis Saint Aubin. He was extremely knowledgeable about the area, a great storyteller, and legit the best old fashioned and side car I’ve ever had. Oh and when I mentioned I couldn’t get a reservation to MOOO down the street that night Dennis picked up his phone and pooof like magic all the sudden I had a 4 top at 8pm !!! Seriously, that’s hospitality!! I’ll be back to The Sporting Club just to Hang out with Dennis!

D Jones: This was my first time staying at your hotel. I will NEVER stay at another Omni property ever again. I arrived at 7:45pm only to be told that my room was not available because it needed to be inspected. The check-in time is 4pm??? I was made to wait 45 minutes, standing in your lobby watching other guests being attended to and WHY was I the only one person whose room had an issue. No one knew what to do. I had to call the Reservations line to try and get help and even they couldn’t understand what was going on. The front desk was clueless. Everyone was clueless. When I finally got the room keys the front desk thought it was funny to not provide me with a room number. I had to go stand back in line and ask for the room number AND THEY LAUGHED AT ME. Saying, “oh my bad”…. as I stated before. I will never stay at any Omni Property ever again.

Christine Lee Kim: Hands down the best hotel in the back bay! The mandarin oriental Boston is my home whenever I am in Boston. Love that it is located right in the heart of back bay, walking distance to all the good shopping, perched on top of the Prudential Centre. The newly renovated rooms make for a better lit and ethereal environment. The daily complimentary hot chocolate with fixin’s and beignets were an extra treat. Look forward to my next stay!
Anthony R: Along with the Four Seasons Back Bay, this Mandarin Oriental is our favorite place to stay while visiting Boston. You absolutely can't beat this hotel's location. It is situated right in the heart of everything that is the best of Boston. The rooms, service, and decor of this property is top notch as well. Best of all, they treated our dog Bella like a princess during our visit! We will definitely return and would highly recommend this property, especially if your pet is tagging along!
Dan Cea: This is probably one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at. Which isn't saying too much for me cuz I usually don't stay it super luxury hotels. I've been impressed with everything. Sandra Schmidt: Total communications breakdown between the hotel and Virtuoso regarding my requested room type. Hotel managers followed-up on the issue one month later which started with an apology and ended with a request for me to remove my “Not Recommended” rating from Virtuoso website. I am the one caught in the middle. I am unable to recommend this hotel.

Sheraton Boston Hotel: what do users think?

Sashi Niranjan Nair: Would be a 2 star dumpy highway side hotel except for the location. Rooms are poorly maintained and outdated, particularly the bathrooms. Pool is nice but again in need of maintenance. The only reason they can charge their rate is because of the location and attachment to a conference center (they probably know most of their guests are not paying and employers will foot the bill)
Ron Whiting: It’s ok. Overall good service with one exception. But this is a tired property. I asked for a better room because ours was so small and dark but they weren’t very helpful because I think all of the rooms are similar. Would not stay here again. If I needed to be close to the convention center I would look at the Hilton across the street or other nearby choices.

Dai Kerien: I loved this hotel! The tap water ran both cold and hot when needed. Rooms were clean. Air-conditioning worked fast. And the vent did a great job getting steam out of bathroom when 4 ppl showered back to back. Simple things made us very happy.Food & drinks: Lots of good food near because the main street is about a 10 min walk.
Alberto Passetti: Albergo ottimamente posizionato. Camere grandi un po' datate e trascurate ma confortevoli. Incomprensibile il servizio di wi-fi, con addebiti fasulli che poi ti rimborsano
Acci Mexico: Excelente servicio, muy buena ubicacion
Andy Decky: Big hotel with huge lobby. There is a market and different shop in the same building witch is very helpful.Nearby activities: Different type of attractions nearby.Walkability: Walkable to many restaurants and shops in Boston.
Jennifer G: This hotel is commonly used for meetings. In fact, I have 2 meetings using this hotel this year. While in a great location to food and shopping, the attitude of the front desk staff is always a hit or miss - and mostly a miss. Both on the phone and in person, I have had the pleasure of dealing with incompetent and unprofessional individuals. One recognized he had made an error and apologized. The other staff member on the phone (“Beryl”) was rude and unprofessional. The rooms are decent size, but the bathroom space is ridiculously small. Overall, the staff members need some serious training in professionalism and hospitality. Sheraton was so much better before they merged with Marriott.
Micheal Armstrong: Recently stayed here for an event and I have incredibly mixed feelings. Check in was horrible. We had booked a room with a view of the Charles River. I had driven 9 Hours there for the event . Went to the desk to see check in availability around 7am. I was told to come back at 10 or 11. Ok fair. I come back at 10. I was told that the room we were assigned has a late checkout. Come back at 3. We came back at 3pm. and we're told we still need to wait and that they would call us immediately when it was available. After sitting there until 6pm (checking a ew times in between.) We then approached the desk a final time where I was told the room was ready and simply handed keys . No call or anything. Great. get to the room. Amazing view and all. Clean and well kept. We purchased some items from the market below to snack on. Some we put in the fridge. One item in particular, A cup of fruit we took out later the same day to find the fruit molding. For 10$ a cup I was shocked to see such lack of care on freshness Thankfully it was on the top of the cup and easily noticeable else who knows but I'm not going to attack what ifs. Room service was great and prompt with service and checking out was painless. The TVs are outdated. They are smart TVs however the processors are extremely slow. For reference I was trying to watch a Netflix show and the captions wouldn't really work , very intermittent and would only even show up half the time. Tried restarting tv, trying different shows, using other services. CC is simply not happening on those TVs. Overall not a bad stay but for a 4 star Hotel I was quite disappointed with the initial check in which was quite ridiculous especially considering how much the room costs but was a memorable stay nonetheless. Would have been much less frustrating had we not been ping ponged about so long on check in. Great location within walking range of everything you would want to be in walking range of and a view of Boston that you would be extremely hard pressed to find in any other building..
Henry Marcus: Pricey, but very nice hotel staff.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Shayna: pricy for a hotel with no vending machines that sends you across the street to the hilton for their 24h snack bar. the rooms are alright, nothing special. the staff aren’t very friendly and have a lot of miscommunication issues — and one of the front desk managers who i spoke to after my card was charged THREE times instead of once (which sent my bank acct into the negatives) was extremely rude/entitled & wouldn’t allow me to speak or properly ask questions. i won’t ever return.
Sam B: The room we got was on the expensive side but it was huge! Great view. And was right above the convention center Anime Boston was in so the convenience couldn't be beat. We didn't have to go outside at all. I forgot my toothbrush and the front desk gave me one. Shower was hot.The only warning I have is that the parking garage under the building is a nightmare. Bad/no signs. And dead ends all over... People had to get out of their cars to direct traffic around it was so bad...

InterContinental Boston, an IHG Hotel: what do users think?
Bailey Rider: Priceline says this is a 5 star hotel. Uhm..wow, is that true? Hard, uncomfortable beds.. terrible pillows.. lights only worked half the time in the bathroom… outdated.. noise problems all night. The internet is incredibly slow. The location is amazing, that's about it. Pretty bummed that we decided to splurge on this hotel, it honestly was a waste of money.4/12/23 Edit- Laura thank you for replying to this review. I have reached out to you the through the email you supplied me. The booking was under my husbands name which I will gladly provide you.4/20/23 I called the Director of Sales back after I missed her call and was transferred and out on hold immediately. I never got in contact with them. They said they wanted to make it right, but they never did.
Liz Lobo: Such a great hotel! Not too far from everything, including the South Station for catching the subway or bus. Great service and beautiful rooms.
Peter DeWitt: Intercontinental has the poorest reservation experience I have ever had. Long hold times only to be transferred and wind back again at the same place. I gave a number for someone to text me back - and nobody did. If my experience with reservations is any indication I would think twice about staying here.

Денис Александров: I really want to share my experience! We stayed here for the weekend, it was in the fall of 2022. It's impossible to forget. I will not distract your attention with a long text, I will only say the most important thing. During my stay in this hotel, I felt like a small child who has magic and omnipotence. I felt lightness and tenderness. And all this thanks to the staff, professionals in their field. From the sincere smile of the doorman to the kind hands of the maids. This is the highest level of hospitality that exists! I want to come back here again and again. Thanks and hats off to you🎩

The Ritz-Carlton, Boston: what do users think?
Gayle Piraino: My husband and I wanted a quick yet special overnight to celebrate our 42nd wedding anniversary. We did not want to travel far, board a plane, etc. and decided on Boston. We chose the Ritz based on it's great location (adjacent to the Boston Common, Theatre District, close to the North End and Back Bay). We have stayed at this hotel a few times...and also had memorable stays dating back to their old Newbury St. corner location too (across from Public Garden)! We were warmly greeted in advance of our stay by Ryan McDonnell, Concierge who offered to help me make plans and reservations, thank you Ryan! When we arrived, Kenny was right there at the front door welcoming us. Front desk acknowledged my Lifetime Bonvoy Titanium Ambassador status and provided us a room upgrade that overlooked the common. We reserved a Club Level room and enjoyed our snacks and beverages there with Tony and others. Food at Artisan Bistro was excellent, thank you Nicole for your special touches. Enjoyed the Equinox Health Club access and also our massages (Ali did a phenomenal job!).Also want to mention and thank The Ladies and Gentlemen of The Ritz Carlton Boston for your hand written welcome note, anniversary good wishes and surprise/delight gift in our room, much appreciated and we really enjoyed! This is a well run property and thank you for a most memorable stay!
T M: DO NOT TRUST THE CONCIERGE! Excellent hotel but I will not stay here again. I had one serious issue which is the cause for my rating. The concierge referred me to an outside party for an experience that was clearly a scam. Fortunately I did not lose any money or waste any time, but I could easily have lost close to $2,000 had I fallen for it, and would likely never have gotten what was being promised. A hotel like the Ritz should know better than to refer their guests to local travel experiences that are not verified as credible.
Lauren Morgan: Our visit to this establishment was truly enjoyable, situated in a superb location with breathtaking scenery. The vast array of exceptional beers was impressive, and our amazing waitress provided top-notch service. We savored a mouthwatering steak and cheese, pleasantly surprised by the swift arrival of our food amidst the lively ambiance. We look forward to returning to this delightful spot in the near future.
rich: Some of the Ritz locations have not held up to the brand but this isn’t one of them. Excellent friendly staff, great amenities, clean rooms (unfortunately not a given these days) and great location.Notably, this location partners with the Equinox Sports Club which is probably the most impressive “gym” facility I’ve ever seen in or outside of a hotel.Honestly the more I look around the more great details there are. This is a true 5 star hotel and other Ritz locations should take notes. Instead of a bare concrete roof they seeded it for flowers (spring so nothing yet in pic). The alarm clock is also a Bluetooth speaker. Everything is great. I heard a couple blasting music at 2am and singing from the hallway (nbd I’ve been guilty) but once in my room I couldn’t hear a peep.Fantastic hotel! Even by Ritz standards.
Kunal Jagota: Terrible stay at the Ritz in Boston, and I am not generally one to complain. The showers give ice cold water for the first few minutes of the shower. The rooms do not have a functioning fridge, a stocked mini bar or a coffee machine - all things even the basic Marriott hotels would have. I asked for a plate to be brought up to eat my dinner and was told that there would be service charges. There also isn’t a gym on site, and you’d thing after spending $500 on a room that you’d have that for free. Instead you are charged $15 to use the neighbouring equinox.Lastly, on checkout I thought I’d tell the concierge. The gentlemen accepted no responsibility and was very rude and hostile. He didn’t accept or apologize for any of these issues. The staff need training on how to address complaints and not make their guests feel like it was there fault for deciding to stay at the hotel.I will never be back at this property, and I hope this helps others looking for where to stay.
Kat Wilson: This was the worst experience for myself and my partner. He was harassed in the lobby. Not sure if they thought we were too poor to be there smh. This is why ppl hate coming to Boston. I will never set foot in that hotel and I will advise my brides to stay away. In all my years of working bridal parties Ive never had an experience like this. The latent racism must stop!
Shosha Green: After an extremely long day at Brigham and Women’s, and worst week of my life, the Ritz put a smile on my face. I don’t think I had smiled in a week. They went above and beyond in many ways, the upgrade to the suite was unbelievable. I will never forget your kindness at such a low point in my life. My husband and I visit Boston often and we hope to be back soon, under different circumstances. Thank you so much for the incredibly comfortable stay, I have no words to really show how I that made me feel.
Ben Hotelling: Had an amazing weekend getaway. Hotel was super quiet at night. Service was outstanding! They went above and beyond at every turn for me, including the kids we left at home for the weekend.
Pat Bailey: The location of this hotel is excellent, and the service is unparalleled! The room manager, concierge, and doorman are outstanding. We have never experienced such exceptional service. The rooms are not up to the Ritz Carlton standard but the location and service makeup for it.

George Allen: We will never ever forget this weekend. This will be a life long memory I have with my significant other. Thank you for such a personal experienceRooms: Incredibly well maintained. Gorgeous setups as wellSafety: Safe and discrete. You have so much privacy and the hotel has policies to go above and beyond for your privacy
Leonid Yelman: Love the place, the location is fantastic, great serviceRooms: Nice clean rooms comfortable bedRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury …More
Wade Myers: Loved my stay.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Yiwen G: Rather lackluster. Slightly 1999 chic, have to pay to use equinox gym next door, the shower needs improvement and need to move away from those small disposable bottles of toiletries. Terrible for the environment
Chuck Wise: Service levels are dropping everywhere. Everyone has experienced some of the lowest customer service levels in history. Not at the Ritz Boston. My family and I just stayed there and the personal service they offer is outstanding. They made our family trip perfect by the level attention and service they provided us throughout our stay. We will be back to this property several times this year just because of the outstanding service.
OLLGS VB: Wonderful hotel in the heart of Boston. Equinox gym is sick!
