Shrinjoy Sahoo: The entire process was super simple and straightforward with Jeff Fisher and his team. By far the most reasonable quote to replace 6 wooden windows with vinyl insulated windows (I received 5 quotes or so from various companies). The house is much warmer now thanks to the windows, which is exactly what I wanted for the winter.Quick timeline to show fast the team was:Late October/Early November 2022: Jeff came out to inspect the windows that were going to be replaced to see what would be the best fit. Quote came in within the next couple days, signed the purchase order and was given an expected date of installation in early January 2023.Late December 2022: Get a call from the team that they could come earlier to replace the windows after the windows arrived at their warehouse. This was a nice surprise but I wasn't around during the holiday weekends and they were understanding and we locked in the first week of 2023.1st week of Jan 2023: Team arrived right on time and got to removing and replacing the windows. Polo and Jack did a great job - 6 windows in roughly 5 hours with a small lunch break. No messes left behind, they did a fantastic job of cleaning up and making sure everything was as is before they showed up (took down complex window treatments that I couldn't do ahead of time). Town inspector came within a couple days for the final sign off and complemented the windows of being solid quality.All in all, this was a great experience and will definitely be using Jeff Fisher for future window projects.

Al F: I contacted Jeff Fisher for an estimate on replacing 13 double hung windows and 2 bay windows in my home. His representative, Paul, responded promptly to my request. He arrived as promised and provided a fair estimate for the work requested, but was unable to accommodate the bay window replacement portion. He was professional, personable and knowledgeable. The estimate he provided was fair. He promptly responded to my further communications and I was very pleased with his interaction. I have no doubt as to the capability to perform window replacement. Unfortunately, I wanted the bay windows too so I opted for a different company but you should definitely contact them for an estimate on your job. They are well established, responsive and would provide a competitive proposal.

Meliessa Hennessy: We needed tempered glass to be installed in our 180+ year old historic double-hung 66" tall windows for the bathrooms to meet MA code. The team was very efficient and professional, came and took out the window, installed clean insulated temporary boards, came back on-time to re-install and repair the ropes, and even re-hung the window blinds, and left the place clean. The install and glazing was immaculate and their pricing was good. They didn't try to sell us on more than we needed to do and didn't require a minimum order to do the historic window repair. Michelle Murray: Good Window Works was courteous. Unfortunately, they mis-sized the glass replacement they did in a storm window so it broke when it was installed by a professional. They were also unable to figure out how to install the storm window and because it was in a tenant's bedroom, I needed them in and out quickly so ended up having them leave the storm window behind and hired someone else to install it later. Because the glass that GWW had put in the storm was too big, it broke when it was installed and needed to be replaced again. They get 2 stars because they were courteous and seemed to know what they were talking about when they came to do the estimate. As far as performance, I ended up paying them not to to the job correctly and then paying someone else to do it correctly so I cannot recommend them.Service:Window repair

They were very nice to work with and were the only business willing to do jamb liner replacement, allowing us to save our unique wood windows. They also did onsite glazing on a bay window and took another to their shop to reglaze. Excellent work as seen in the picture. Andy Levine: I recently had the crew at Good Window Works repair a set of bay windows in my home. The wood was rotted in several places and they repaired these windows with excellent work. I worked to get quotes to either replace these bay windows or convert them to standard windows. I ended up using this group due to their quote and overall their responsiveness and quality of work. Pavel Ozhogin: I cannot say enough good things about these guys. Saw their van on the street, called, made an appointment, a very knowledgeable estimator came and did a very thorough walkthrough, explained everything, provided estimate right away. The house that we moved into had over a dozen of windows that wouldn't open or wouldn't shut. It was so bad that one of the windows almost fell out when opening. So, we were bracing for $20-30K new windows expenditure. These guys fixed all of the issues, including bunch of rotting wood for 10% of that! All windows work great now, they even painted them. The best thing is that they're honest, explain everything, and don't oversell! So rare to find that combination. Highly recommend to everyone who has issues with windows.Service:Window repair

(It took several tries over a week to reach him - no answer and no voice mail.) He denied that it could have been related to the work he did and then rushed me off the phone saying that he would see if he could find me in his records and get back to me without even asking for my name. I get it - business owners can't always eat the cost of re-repairing things that break for no reason - but he didn't even offer to negotiate or to make an appointment to fix it again at full cost. Jim Olivadoti: They came and fixed my sliding glass door about 2 years a go and then when it was not working correctly they said they would come and they did not. Talk to the owner and he said twice he would come and never got back to me. I have left at least 4 phone messages and still no return call.I have no idea why the owner would act like that. I have talked to the trustees and manager in our building and i hope they never use Arlington Glass again.I am very disappointed and would never recommend them to any one..

Yes, he'd be happy to do them, but wanted us to know that it won't impact the selling price on our particular street in Belmont, MA. (He said that the market is so good now for our particular type of home, that any new buyer would not be overly influenced by new windows).Well knock me down with a feather! It's like that Christmas movie when the Gimbal's Santa sent business to Macy's, (or was that the other way around)?Big applause to Stormtite for not even trying to force a sale. For that reason alone I'd recommend that you include them when you are seeking quotes for storm or replacement windows (or doors).To be fair, I can't tell you how competitive their pricing is, but their niceness (including those on the phone) is off the charts.
