Raymond Lord Memorial Swimming Pool: what do users think?
Arika Handy: This was my first time going to a public pool in lowell. we got there right after opening at 12 noon. There was parking. The bathroom was clean it had automatic flush toilet and hand dryers. There are no curtains on the changing stalls not sure why that needs to be fixed. Plenty of showers. There is a splash pad next to the pool which I used with my toddler. The main pool was nice . The wade area perfect for little and non swimmers. There is a shaded tented area with tables and benches. You could also do picnic style on the grass right next to the pool. Plenty of life guards and they were nice young teens. We will be back.
Bestie Friend: Don't listen to bad reviews....there's Karen's everywhere...go and experience for yourself. Nothing but pure fun with my daughter. She loved it, I did too. Plenty of lifeguards, decent people.
Ne La Von: A very nice pool. It has a good amount a space, clean water. Life guards are a little bit strict. Good bathrooms. Overall very good swimming pool.
Michelle DiNanno Todisco: The older kids at this place and pool were SO DISRESPECTFUL. Most were unsupervised. There were 15 year old punks running past and almost pushing me over while holding my daughter. Even in the pool, the lifeguard just doesn't say anything. You could barely get around in the pool because there's sooo many people and this day wasn't even hot, it was about 75......if you have a toddler be careful because the older kids have no respect for other people. My older daughters 6 and 9 made the best of it. They enjoyed the pool but with so many people were afraid to go in alone. The splash pad was nice, but We likely won't be returning. The pool had black hairs and other debree floating in it as if there's no filter working.i know you have to expect some grass maybe from all the people and kids feet but GROSS
Connie Mortara (Connie M): We had a great time. Can't believe I didn't know it was here sooner.
Fadrice Yohana: The best pool in lowell
Brenda Melo: Clean and not really crowded at least on days we have gone
Heather Swenson: Love it!!!
Matokotiro em USA: Ótimo
Vikki Coupal: Very family friendly lifeguards only flaw is you need to lock everything up it will disappear bicycles cellphone water goggles ect.
Sarath Rem: Chill and laid back place to kick it with friends and family
Jayson Gilkes: This pool is really the best one we have in Lowell. The staff here is amazing, always smiling and happy. Especially the short one that wears Durags, always helping anybody with anything.
Lynnette perry: My kids love this pool. Staff is great and they keep good eyes on what the children are doing
Katherine Hammons Gonzalez: Nice pool. Good shallow area for the littles.
Luz Agosto: Is very clean My grandkids enjoy to be there.
Crystal Prince: Always a problem with this damn pool
Russel McCormack: Ok
Alina Caceres: The best pool ever
Candi Lawler: We swim here every summer.... Best public pool we have in lowell.... Very clean all new and large enough for everyone of every age to have there own fun without being crowded
Jasmine Toro: The people here are rude, the children use the most foul disturbing language and the lifeguards contribute to the nasty language and on top of that I witnessed a guard try to hit a child with his life float. Adults swim in their jeans and SOCKS who swims in crusty socks!! I left and I will never bring my children here again.
Leticia Brasil Gonçalves: amazing , safe and clean!

South Common Pool: what do users think?
Ashley Lynn: A bit strict lifeguards but clean & pretty empty most the time. Has showers too. Bring your own chairs. No chairs.
Cruz E: First things first, I'm only giving it one star simply because it was something to do. It would be a wonderful pool if the life guards that were on duty today were replaced with better trained and friendlier ones. I felt as though they were blowing their whistles for the sake of not having to get up out of their chairs. They were rude and a bit dispassionate as it pertained to the interaction with the people at the pool.
gummyreborns 22: The new lifeguard likes to stay with me down and it just gives me creepy vibes I don’t like it it’s not the same like how are used to be the lifeguards are as Friendly
charles turner: Pools close for the season but you can still go down and sit in a Park area meditate and relax
Tina Degree: The city really needs to take care of the parks it might not be shed park but all the parks in the city need some tlc.
Vikki Coupal: Love this park very strict and clean. Lifeguards super friendly
Venus Velez: Se pasa super
Sarath Rem: This place suckes can't even sit down at the fence
Pamela Schroeder: Great place if you want your kids to see herion addicts overdosing amd fighting right outside the pool fence
Rosa De Los santos: Not clean....
Jamie Rachael: Good pool, excellent life guards, trash people. Over the course of the three hours we were there, three fist fights broke out in the parking lot. We were with a 10-year-old and didn't feel safe having her there anymore. I know some assumptions are going to be made here, so I will just clear them up, yes, if you guessed the trash people were white, you were right. One was complaining about going to jail next week so she, "doesn't care if she takes a beating".Other than that, our in the pool experiences were great. The life guards gave our kid a swim test and a "swim number" so she could join us for laps in the deep-end. We hung out in the middle section for a while with other kids her age, all the kids were nice, playful and polite. If they can keep these disruptive people from the pool area and parking lot it would be a lot nicer and safer for people with kids trying to get in a swim on a hot day.
Ann Sawyer: Had a great day at the pool
christine ubin: well I'll check it out for my selfI live across the street from the pool 👵🐟♎🕊️tata4now ^~^
Janis Pratt: My pool ! Love it
Catherine Doyle: Free(BONUS) very clean pool, restrooms, very nice an gr8 way to stay cool an there are water bubblers to have cold water, an keep hydrated. Couldnt ask for a safe place to get some sun an basically a day of good ole fun.
Tim Nou: Love that pool
kanath mao: Wish i didnt have to give a star it dont even deserve 1 will never bring my kids there again ever needles everywhere even in public pool disgusting
Shannan Dunn: What to say....I call it needle park. The addicts like to throw needles everywhere, including the pool and shoot up right in front of children swimming. There is constant police patrol and ambulance arrival for daily if now hourly overdose or drunkenness. They do have local healthy snack trucks come and hand out snacks for the kids like broccoli, juices, carrots and such which I think is a step in the right direction. There's also an ice cream truck that comes everyday!
Corrie Dagraca: It is a very nice and clean pool, but there is a strong homeless population in the park on the outside of the fence, which in turn has a strong police presence which is monitoring the park constantly. Parking fills up quick and early, due to the swim classes in the morning 🌄 which take process before the public opening at 12 p.m.
Sherri Barboza: The staff are great. Nate is wonderful. He is very professional and great with swim lessons! Pool is clean☺

Rogers Pool Patio & Toy Co. Inc: what do users think?
Kevin McArdle: I love Rogers pool. Not only did they install my pool for a home I bought in Townsend but when I moved to Lowell they came and moved it for me and installed it again for a very reasonable price. This was a few years ago and Gary was so helpful
Sherri Barboza: So you can not avoid going here if your pool is green or cloudy or just not right. They have everything you need, they test your water and tell you exactly what you need. Then, you can buy all the old toys and games that you forgot that you love Lincoln logs, bingo daubers, toys, the game of life and so on
Bobby Megens III: Not only did they have EVERYTHING we needed. But some vintage/throwback toys that I enjoyed as a kid. And know that my son will. F$&k Walmart cbd Target for supplies. And please show this family owned and ran buisiness the love they deserve!
K: The rudest guy I have ever dealt with. I am surprised they are in business. I would return my pool if I could. I am in the market for a new pool AND ROGER’S will not get my business.
Chris Ortiz: Best overall pool company around. They are very knowledgeable and professional.
Jennifer Hart: Looking for games, puzzles and classic toys this is the place
Lisa Parlee Carr: Not a bad to say about the products or service.
Derek Roach: the salesmen on phone clearly did not want to help me. I bought new house came with pool. never had pool before completely ignorant on the subject. they offer closing services but said coming to my place just to check to see if pervious owner closed it properly was ludicrous. ok don't take money from people trying to pay you for a service your website says you provide. complete Jerks. and again from when they answered the phone I knew they just didn't want my business.
Tony Koumantzelis: It is a nostalgic experience for me. My mom used to take me and my sister there when we were very young. Although they concentrate on pools now they still sell old classic toys. I saw Rock em Sock em robots, Cabbage Patch kids, Battleship and even Spirograph.
Mike McLaughlin: There is no better place for your pool supplies and advice! Gary & staff are very knowledgeable and I personally wouldn't go anywhere else.
Mark Basnett: Usually have everything you need
Vichet S: I had pool opening for 2021, I desired to take the cover off by myself to save $50.00. it would to cost me $285.00 if they remove the cover. She asked me for credit card first before the job started. I had no choice just to give her to charge for $235.00. This morning, I check my card statement, the charge for the job was $294 ish. I called her, she explained that the $50 ish was a charge to repair the nest last closing. I was not aware of anything. Roger Pool just changed me $50 without my authorization. Be aware with this company. Don't give them your credit card first, pay when you get a slip.
bob moore: Friendly and very helpful service !!
Fabiana Oliveira: Nice
Joshua Perkins: Unreal. Just called to get some information on a leak I am dealing with at my pump. I dont know all of the pool jargon/terminology, but jeeze. Im literally 30 seconds in describing where the leak is coming from and he says "I dont have time for this" and hangs up. Really?! Great customer service bud!
Aaron Noyes: Their costumer service was absolutely abysmal, when I tell you that these people are nasty it’s an understatement. Having had to deal with a multitude of representatives none of them have been helpful nor even remotely nice. They wouldn’t help fix a filter they installed less than a year ago and now we are forced to use another company. Not only should this be under some form of warranty but any filter less than a year old should not break 3+ times... I will not recommend this group to anyone and as someone who’s been a loyal customer for 10+ years I am disgusted.
Issa Ansara: Good service. Has the pool supplies I need. Like they will test my pool water.
Renee: We built a 20 x 40 inground pool almost 20 years ago. Usually every year I open the pool with my dad, but the beginning of last year he had a quintuple bypass surgery and during his recovery he was very immobile. Since I can’t do it on my own, I called Rogers Pool, as they are reasonably priced and have been in my area pretty much forever now. When they opened the pool, they couldn’t get our filter running. I received a call from them about how we needed a new pump and that we had a leak. When I relayed the message to my dad, he disagreed. Despite doctors orders that he cannot use stairs, bend over, or exert himself in any way, (obviously I couldn’t stop him, I’m sure many of you understand what that’s like) he eventually figured out that the guys who opened the pool never took the skimmer plugs out. After my dad pulled out the plugs, he primed the pumps and got the filter running. This was a very easy job to accomplish but due to incompetence of our hired help, I had to watch my father struggle to finish the job when he physically could not. He just really wanted to open the pool for his grandson. The pool ran fine all season. My dad was still not fully recovered by the end of the season, so he called up Rogers to close the pool. I guess he figured, what are the odds Rogers Pool will make another mistake that stupid, right? He is now fully recovered and this past weekend I helped him open the pool. Usually when we open the pool (after closing it ourselves), the pool is green but it is a clear green and we can see the very bottom of it. This time, it was a deep, very murky green and the pools water line was high. Upon closer inspection, we found that they never drained the pool to the proper level, never flushed the lines out and never put the skimmer plugs in.I don’t know what it is with this company and skimmer plugs, but when you don’t put skimmer plugs in the pool when you close it up, you are risking the pool lines freezing and destroying the pools plumbing. We are so lucky that the previous winter was mild, because everything is running fine right now, however, we did notice a small leak in the manifold of our pool heater, and that heater is only 3 years old.We were going to let the mistakes made when they opened the pool go, but because they didn’t open AND close our pool properly, my father called Rogers asking for a full refund. Nothing more nothing less. That’s pretty reasonable since they didn’t do both jobs properly and would have ruined our pools plumbing if we had a colder winter. My father wasn’t even offered a partial refund, instead the owner told him he was lying, and when my dad began getting frustrated, the owner also called him crazy. The owner claimed he sent guys to resolve the issue when they first opened the pool, but that is not true, I watched my father fix everything on his own 3 weeks after he was let out of the hospital. My father still has heart disease, and although I was trying to make his life easier by calling Rogers Pool, I did the exact opposite and it only served to stress him out.I only recommend using Rogers Pool if you are going to baby sit them while they work and you know all the steps they are supposed to take, but just a heads up- even if you request for them to call you before they come over, they will not.I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau.
Eileen Hayes: Great service- extremely knowledgeable! My son purchased his first home and the pool had not been closed correctly by original owners; several companies quoted " worst water quality ever seen"! Thankfully Rogers Poolwere able to get the water into proper balance quickly and were super helpful in advising my son on proper pool care!
Celeste Dunn: I get my hot tub supplies and the occasional toy gift from Rogers Pools. I always find Gary & Justin very friendly and helpful whenever I go in looking for help. They are knowledgable and prompt with getting the appropriate chemicals I need at the time. They have even delivered my order to me :)
Nancy Rogers: The doctor made a house call and didnt send a bill. Family owned and a heart of gold , in the middle of the covid pandemic the owner went to an elderly couples home , took their water sample and personally delivered the chemicals they needed. Did it all for free . Thank you , your good deed was noticed and appreciated .
