Steppin' Out Ballroom Dance: what do users think?
Valerie Nicholas: I got there a little late so I didn't get a partner but after the lesson I was asked to dance. I was not too bad as I danced with a partner. I didn't stay for too long after I learned the Salsa a bit. It was a good time!
Michael Wesson: I was never there?!!!
Darlene Dorazio: He is the BEST ... TOP of my Bucket list to dance with George again💝🌉
Ron Fotino: George is a great instructor who is fun, patient, and knows how to give you just the right advice - a little at a time - so that it's not overwhelming. Classes fly by and we are looking forward to showing off our new dance skills at the next wedding!
Octavius Rhodes: George is a great instructor! Classes are at a pace that makes following easy. Fun!
Gary Brake: Currently taking group lessons from George. Super nice guy, knowledgeable, personable, and talented. I think this is my first Google review. Don't like that my full name will be posted, but really wanted to give a rave review. Hopefully, I won't have two left feet by the time the course is over and I have to dance at a wedding with a tuxedo on.
Colleen S: Steppin" Out Dance Studio is unique. The classes are always kept small to ensure good instruction and understanding. Although it is best to have a dance partner, at times, the owner has a list of people who are looking for partners. There is usually a female partner available for males. What I like best is that there are no contracts to sign and no pressure sales techniques. This Studio is truly interested in promoting the joy of ballroom dance. It offers a wide variety of dances and it is fun, not stressful.

Firebeat Ballroom Studios: what do users think?
Natalia Cota: We used Firebeat for our wedding dance lessons and Charlie did an amazing job teaching us both how to DANCE. We enjoyed the lessons and appreciated the friendly and laid-back atmosphere :)
Katia Crowley: My husband and I had lessons with Vlad for our first dance - I can’t express how highly I recommend Vlad + Firebeat!!! As two people who have never really danced before, we were a bit nervous going into our wedding and wanted to have a great first dance. Vlad was honestly such a blast to work with and we looked forward to all our dance lessons. Vlad was so patient with us, so thorough, and helped us so much. Now that our wedding is over, we can’t wait to keep coming here to expand our skills in dancing and keep this new hobby going!
Kevin Foley: I love to be here and learn how to dance!
Daniel Fava: Thank you Vlad!
Isabelle Poulin: Vlad was fantastic! My husband and I didn’t want a fully choreographed first dance at our wedding, but wanted to learn some basic dance moves a a few spins to add in throughout our dance. Vlad understood our vision and was so helpful making us feel comfortable and confident on our big day!
nancy robbins: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueVlad is an amazingly talented, kind and extremely patient dance instructor! He helped my husband and I who wanted to 'learn how to dance' for an important event. Vlad had to start with a 'blank' slate with us because I had zero dance experience. He is a true credit to the profession. Thank you Vlad!
Christopher's Available Resource Engineering: Amanda and I can agree that our decision to get dance lessons with Vlad was probably the best decision we made during planning for our wedding reception!Vlad was able to walk us through from not even having our song picked at our first lesson with the experience level of “I can do jumping jacks…” to becoming graceful, solid dance partners with a solid dance on the final day.Vlad was very knowledgeable and capable to make this transformation possible. We are beyond thankful for his commitment and expertise. We are going into the reception with confidence and grace now.
Scarlett X: I've been coming to this studio for 11 months now (since Dec 2018). However, it feels that I have been here way longer. Initially what brought me to the studio was the instructors' prolific dance experience, and the large and well-maintained studio rooms. I had taken a few Latin classes before I came here and was looking for a studio that provided systematic education on Latin dance. I remember the first group class (Latin Drills) I took with Ching totally blew my mind. There was so much stuff I learned from that one class than all the previous classes combined. So I stayed and started coming to the studio more often, then started taking private lessons with Andre in January this year. I had doubts about taking private lessons at the beginning because I wasn't sure if I wanted to compete. However, looking back to the dance videos I recorded a year ago I'm so grateful for what he has taught me and the heart and soul he has put into each lesson. I've done 3 mock comps so far and each time I saw some improvements. I don't think I'd be able to see results that fast if I didn't take these lessons that were customized for my growth.I also have to mention the atmosphere in this studio. The other staff members and instructors (big shout out to Brad) are so welcoming and friendly. The fellow students are all really nice and humble. I felt welcomed from day 1 and have made some good friends here with whom I share the same interests and passion in dancing.I'd recommend Firebeat to anyone I know who's interested in ballroom dancing.
Phi Hung Nguyen: I've been dancing for ~1.5 years at Firebeat. My prior dancing experience is zero so my perspective is that of a complete beginner.Firebeat matches what I'm looking for: focus on solid techniques and different dance styles including social dancing. The instructors have a lot of experience, won several titles/competitions, and are very receptive to questions. The studio is focused on training dancers to compete and bring home the gold. Their students' dedication and the schedule of classes reflect that.Initially I only wanted to learn just enough to dance at formal and social occasions. The instructors understood my intent and tailored my curriculum to that desire so that we achieve it in the shortest time possible.Roughly a few months in, I had a change of heart. I went from taking group classes and a few private lessons here and there to fully immersing myself in American Rhythm dances. This is due to the realization that most people do not know how to dance. Their dancing is just doing their own thing. Social dancing gets boring real fast when you can only use 5 or so moves on beginners! People are easily impressed with just being twirled and spun around a lot at a fast pace. The instructors also confirmed this issue: they can't go all out with a beginner. Their goal with a beginner as a dance partner is to have both parties enjoy the dance. My suggestion to people reading this review is to not stand still and ask yourself where you want to be a year from now. My instructor Ching told me it would take 3+ years to become the best dancer at any social club vs 7+ years to become a competitive dancer at the highest level. It's been 1.5 years, and I successfully completed my first mock competition at Firebeat. I'm very grateful to have met such great instructors and students on my dancing journey.
Pei-ju Hsu: I've taken the salsa group lesson for a year (since last October). I didn't dance before then, but now I'm preparing the showcase and will have performance next month! This is the best place to learn social dancing for any age and any level. :D
E Collins: What a special place! I was brand new to ballroom dance and this studio made me feel comfortable right away! Any level can excel here from novice to professional! The teachers are all amazing and the owners will welcome you in as a part of their family! Ballroom Dance will forever be a part of me now!
Ari Seitelman: Had a great time prepping for our first dance at Firebeat. Everything went perfectly and we're excited to go back and learn more dances!
Michael K: Not sure what is the hype about this studio. I originally purchased a four pack of classes through Groupon. The first class (intro to ballroom) which I took was good but it was tough to tell for sure if I was into it as it was the first time I've ever done ballroom. The second class I took (intro to social latin) left me wondering what is the real knowledge of people who teach here is. The swing and hustle dances were taught. Now, I am not sure how you start with a latin dance in the class title, and you teach swing practiced to modern day pop music. I have had much better swing dance class experiences at other studios closer into Boston. At the end of the second class, I asked Vlad to confirm the Intro to Ballroom was on for that next night as that would be Valentines Night. He said it was on, but was unsure of the time, so I checked with the monthly programming calendar on their website to confirm that it was indeed on.I got to the door that next night, only to learn that the intro to ballroom class that night was cancelled, as the only offering that was available was a special couples dance. Well, there goes a dance class that I paid for, but couldn't use due to their tight 30 day window to use a 4 pack of classes that is only valid for 2 possible class times per week. I felt it was kind of strange that they left essentially leaving out a big chunk of their demographic out in the cold on a night they should be doing their heaviest volume of business at a place with 3 different rooms.
Valerie Bloomfield: Whether you’re looking for a social dance experience or working toward a serious dance goal, this is a great place. Look around the studio and you see extremely talented dancers as well as beginners and everything in-between. The teaching is very focused and organized. They plan and do their homework to give you the best value for your lesson time. The studio is full service. On top of the typical lessons, classes, and master coaching, they offer many amenities such as ballroom dress rentals and dancewear, even spray tan! The ballroom is very spacious with a sprung floor (easy on the knees) and ample mirrors so you can check your posture. ;-) Yet the prices are very competitive with other studios and franchises. Overall, this is a very well run business with lots of dance inspiration. We hope to continue dancing here for a long time.
Paula Aufiero: My husband and I came to Firebeat 15 months ago. We did our research, shopped around, and clearly made the right choice. We can't say enough about this studio and everyone who is a part of it. The hospitality starts with the owners, Andre and Ching, and extends to the entire staff. We have taken several lessons with Brad and he has found a way to ignite our passion for dancing. He is patient with his students and caters to all levels. Whether it is a group class or a private lesson, there is something for everyone. It is a place to make new friends (the other students are all amazingly friendly), try something new, and feel like you are part of a community. We are happy to have met our "Firebeat family." They have brought so much joy to our lives.
Karen Wyatt: I have been at Firebeat Ballroom Studios for over 4 years and I'm still just as in love with this studio as the day I walked in for the first time. Ching and Andre are truly the heart and soul of the studio. They always teach each lesson with so much excitement and they are devoted to each students progress. The front desk staff is always friendly and welcoming. I take weekly lessons with Brad. He makes learning fun and always knows how to inspire his students. His passion for dance shines through in each lesson he teaches. If you're looking for a studio that treats you like family then this is the studio for you. They really care about your journey and they encourage and support you every step of the way. Whether you are looking to learn a wedding dance that you will treasure forever or are looking to take a social group class or would like to be part of a ballroom competitive team I guarantee you will find what you are looking at Firebeat Ballroom Studios.
Cori Gagnon: I began my journey at Firebeat Ballroom Studios in April of 2016 and have been going multiple times a week ever since. Joining this studio, has helped me find so much more love and appreciation for this incredible art form and for those who dance it. The staff at Firebeat, have created such a warm, friendly, and professional environment, where people can share their love for dance, together. There is endless opportunities for one dancing here - drop in social classes, alternating 6-week series courses, private lessons (which you do not need a partner for), and so much more! The instructors are very informative and are extremely patient and supportive. They strive to make sure their students' are obtaining the best possible experience. One of the most memorable parts of my experience here thus far, is the community. The students here, regardless of what level they stand, are so encouraging and caring of their fellow students. Overall, I truly have found a great blessing in Firebeat, their staff, and their students. Do yourself a favor, try something new and come on down to try a class, you'll be so glad you did. Happy Dancing!
Maggie Shafiro: I love my classes with both Ching and Andre! They are very talented teachers that find creative ways of sharing information with students that have very different levels of experience. I feel like I take something away that helps me improve and feel more confident on the dance floor and in life after every lesson!
Matt: We first came because we saw a great deal on Groupon for a group class and loved it so much we came back for private lessons for our wedding! Would highly recommend for any occasion even if it’s just for a night out of dancing!
Olga Gorea: Love this studio! Looking forward every week to my Sunday beginner salsa with Vlad. I would like to continue my dance classes at Firebeat for pleasure and to improve my dance moves.
Caitlyn Boland: I purchased a groupon for my husband for our anniversary for us to attend 4 introduction to ballroom dancing classes. We had an incredible time! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We learned so much and always looked forward to next time.

mmballroom: what do users think?
Sandi F: I met Mica about two years ago when I moved to this area. I have danced American smooth for a number of years and participated in pro am competitions at a high level. Mica was accommodating to my needs when we first met. At that time, I thought I might continue to dance and compete with my instructor in New Jersey. We began working on choreography that was created by my instructor in New Jersey. The outcome is that Mica is my only teacher. He has made very creative changes to my choreography. He is able to break down technique so that it is easily understood. He is extremely patient and included me in the selection of choreography based on my comfort and what was enjoyable to dance. I highly recommend him for new students and advanced students. He has something to offer at all levels of dance. I know that for my dancing, he has brought new insights, technical corrections and a joy for dance.
Jade Pierce: Mica is the most fantastic teacher I have had in my 83 years of living. He caters and designs his teachings to fit perfectly in line with what his client wants. He doesn’t push his clients at all and helps each individual get to the level that they desire. I decided to advance my dancing skills into the competition level and without the bat of an eye Mica got right on board and helped me excel to the level I wanted. He knows exactly how to put his instructions into words that make it easier for each individual to understand. If I do not understand what he is saying in one way, he will approach it in a totally different way that helps me to better grasp what he is saying. I also have breathing problems that prohibit my airway from getting the amount of air it needs. Mica figured out a way to teach me to not constrict that airway by instead elongating my back to get into the desired position. His extensive knowledge of the human anatomy has proven to be extremely helpful in his teaching endeavors and I am continuously blown away by his advanced knowledge of the human body. Another special aspect of Mica’s teaching is his ability to catch and correct an action in the middle of it occurring. He has extremely fast reflexes from a long past in martial arts that make him perfect for catching incorrect actions and stopping them before they get ingrained into my brain as correct. It’s an extremely special trait to be able to catch something so quick and even in my lifelong history with dog training and obedience, I have never seen someone or something be able to stop an action so quick and teach on it. I have excelled in my dancing in incomprehensible ways solely because of Mica. He is always thinking of how to help his students and you can see how painstakingly he thinks out every one of his lessons. I recommend Mica to anyone who wants to learn to dance, further their knowledge of dance, or to someone who wants to excel to the top in dancing. He can do it all.

First Dance Studio: what do users think?
Alexis Donohoe: Danielle was so fun to work with! She taught us so much and we looked forward to our lessons each time. We performed the waltz for our wedding and got so many compliments on the elegance of the dance, which is one of our favorite memories! I highly recommend taking lessons before your big day!
Amanda Stipek: If you’re thinking about dance lessons for your wedding, I highly recommend Danielle and First Dance Studio! We had already decided upon our first dance song and we both agreed we didn’t want to look uncomfortable on the dance floor or stuck with your boring basic prom side shuffle for our first dance at our wedding. We wanted memories of our wedding night that would last a lifetime and Danielle helped us get even more than that. When I first brought up the idea of dance lessons to my then fiancé (now husband), he agreed to do the lessons but wasn’t thrilled about the idea. We both had athletic backgrounds from high school and college, but neither of us had danced before. Danielle made us both feel at ease and comfortable with dancing. My husband never thought this was something he would ever do, let alone enjoy it! After meeting Danielle and completing our introduction lesson, we decided to book a package so we would not only learn our first dance but have extra lessons to have as special date nights after our wedding – and to our shock, the lessons are good for 5-years from the date of purchase for many date nights to come!Danielle had us laughing and enjoying ourselves while learning. Our dance lessons quickly became a nice getaway amidst the rest of the wedding planning chaos and was something we looked forward to each week. She was also super flexible with class times as we had demanding day jobs – fitting us in for the evening or on our ‘off-work Friday’, but we also were commuting 45 minutes for the lessons so if we got stuck in traffic, she was always understanding and made our schedule work. Although it was a choreographed dance, my goal was to know how to follow my partner’s lead well enough that I could be in the moment, enjoy our first dance, and be able to sing the lyrics without thinking about my next step, and Danielle taught us just that. We were super impressed with what we were able to learn in the number of lessons we did – a full 4.5-minute dance that included a lift and a dip! Danielle also worked with my husband and my mother-in-law for their mother-son dance and they had easy-to-remember steps in just one lesson!Danielle gave us more than a nice-looking first dance at our wedding, she gave us cherished memories together that we'll never forget and now we have dance skills we can use at any occasion in the future. We are looking forward to using these skills at our friends’ weddings, vacations, and learning new types of dances on our date nights as we continue to use the lessons from our package. We cannot thank Danielle enough for the experience she provided us throughout the lessons, practicing at home, on our wedding day, and the fact that she made us both find an exciting new date night we can both enjoy! Highly recommend!
Akyanna Smith: My wife and I had the absolute BEST experience with Danielle at First Dance Studio. I scheduled our intro class as an anniversary gift for our last dating anniversary and we had so much fun, we decided to enroll for our first dance. The entire experience was honestly the most fun and exciting times of our wedding planning process. We were able to perfect a first dance that made our guests go WILD. Plus, we felt so much more comfortable going into the dance because of Danielle’s teaching and support. We loved it so much, we’re continuing on with her as social dance students. I couldn’t recommend First Dance Studio enough. You’re in the best hands and it’s 100000% worth the investment.
Toby R: We went here for lessons for our first dance for our Wedding. Danielle was our teacher and was absolutely amazing! The lessons are worth every penny. We started with barely a rhythm And our first dance went off without a Hitch. We surprised everyone! We’ll be coming back here for future lessons now that we have the moves!
Fallon Malvers: My husband and I got married in September and we decided to do dance lessons about a month before our wedding. We did not have a lot of time to learn but Danielle was amazing!! She taught us our whole waltz dance within a month, and it was SO FUN! She made the experience so fun and simple, and I cannot recommend her enough. It is such a fun experience to have with your future Mr. or Mrs. I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone considering dance lessons!
Michelle Laliberte: Super thankful for our experience today. Danielle was very helpful seeming we crunched in one session 2 weeks prior to our wedding. Thanks again
J C: I had a great experience at First Dance Studio! My now husband was against me signing us up for wedding dance lessons but he ended up loving it! Danielle was super friendly, experienced and gave great feedback.I got many complements from my wedding guests who said our dance was well rehearsed and flowed naturally. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who wants dance lessons.
Sarah Sheehan: Daniele is amazing. My husband and I went to her about two weeks before our wedding with no idea what to do for our first dance. She was able to work with our schedules and fit us in for three classes prior to the wedding. She taught us a dance that we were confident preforming and wowed our guests. I strongly recommend First Dance Studio and only with we had met Danielle sooner!
zak em: Danielle was wonderful from day one, and a pleasure to work with. She worked with me (absolutely not a dancer), and my wife (an amazing dancer), with equal attention, care and competency for fifteen lessons to help us learn out wedding dance. Further, she was attentive to our priorities for what we wanted in the dance itself, and so friendly to work with. I'm sad it's over as it became a fun date night to go out to weekly, but thrilled with the results. 11/10 would recommend.
Sarah Howard: We found First Dance Studio originally on Groupon! Once we took the introductory lesson we knew we wanted to pursue more! We had an absolute blast and our dance was amazing!!! Highly recommend!
Mike D: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueMy fiancee and I purchased a 20 pack of lessons to prepare for our wedding. Danielle is a great teacher, fun, talented and she covers little details to make the dance fun for the crowd and photo's. Danielle's teaching style is very easy to follow. Highly recommend First Dance Studio!
Chris McNamara: If you are looking around for wedding dance lessons, stop what you are doing and call Danielle. She was the most amazing teacher ever. Completely blew us away with her knowledge and instincts. Every single class and all of her instruction just so on point all the time. And she knew how to communicate with us exactly how we needed it. We came to her with a very different and upbeat song that we had NO idea how to dance to. After feeling our vibe and energy, and within 30 seconds of her hearing our song she was like oh yeah… this is easy. I know how we will do this. She was so fun to work with, and we enjoyed our dance lessons so much. Its such a fun thing to do as a couple before the big day. Couldn’t possibly speak more highly of Danielle not only as a teacher but just as a genuine, amazing person who really cared about us and truly wanted us to be the best we could be. All of our guests couldn’t stop raving about our first dance!!!! Thank you so much, Danielle. You truly helped make the best day of our lives perfect
Rachel Gregorio: We could not recommend First Dance Studio more for your special moment at your wedding! Danielle took us from dreading our first dance together to being excited to show off our new skills. Our guests were wow’d by our turns, dips, and footwork, without it being over the top. She gave us a format to follow that took the stress out of an all-eyes-on-us moment. Not to mention that taking the lessons offered us fun, quality time together leading up to the wedding. Hire Danielle - you will not regret it!
kellianne alexander: Danielle is an amazing instructor!!! My husband and I took her wedding dance lessons. We were both very new to dancing and had zero experience before honestly we dreaded our first dance and taking dance lessons but Danielle made both of us really comfortable dancing and every time we left we were always excited to come back. I highly recommend First dance studio!
Gregory Danforth: My fiance and I signed up for a series of lessons so that her dream first dance could become a reality. My fiance had some previous formal dance training, whereas I was barely an expert at the head-bob and two-step. Needless to say I was very anxious that I would be very out of place and never be able to do the moves that I would need to learn. And while our wedding is still a week away and I could certainly mess the entire thing up, if not for Danielle (at First Dance Studio), her patience, positive attitude, and way of explaining the steps at a manageable pace, I would not have the confidence to even attempt half of what I learned in front of 100 other people. She worked with us to learn our base level, which allowed her to establish a starting point. When she felt that we had really good progress on certain steps or sequences she would try to push for a little more to test our limits. But if she noticed we were struggling with a particular sequence (and I did at times) she was also not afraid to slow us down and help us work on the things that we were struggling with. When we learned enough to make my fiance happy, Danielle helped us focus on some of the finer details, which allowed us to continue to work on muscle memory for the basic moves and then add some of our own flair. We are both very excited to attempt to dazzle our wedding guests and cannot thank Danielle enough for everything. We're also looking forward to going back in the future to learn a little something new, for our own enjoyment!
Jessica Malone: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueDanielle is incredible! She taught two people with left feet how to do an awesome first dance in such a short time. Danielle really knows her stuff and is patient and kind with people who are nervous about dancing. We can't thank her enough!
Karen Richards: Danielle is such an amazing teacher. She does an excellent job creating a dance that was challenging yet obtainable for us. The studio is the perfect size and located in downtown Andover. We very much enjoyed our dance lessons for our wedding and may be back in the future for a date night!
Robert Dabrowski: Danielle worked with us on our basics and made sure we knew everything we needed to know for a solid waltz. She also helped us dance with our parents. Next were the tricks and show stoppers; you know, stuff for the camera to make it a fun show. Finally she helped us work out a semi-choreographed and flexible routine. This was critical and set us up to handle last minute dance floor changes at our venue and an unforgettable wedding performance. Go work with Danielle to create something special to impress everyone.
Dianne Leventhal: My husband and I had so much fun learning our first dance with Danielle! We took five lessons and had zero dance experience and all our friends and family were stunned by our first dance! Everyone said it looked like we’ve been practicing that dance our whole life LOL! I was soo nervous for my first dance because I’ve always hated dancing and always wandered off whenever it was time to dance for my whole life. After 5 lessons and a lot of practice at home, I was so confident for the dance and it was perfect! I can’t imagine waddling side to side for five minutes if we didn’t take these lessons! We will definitely be back for different styles of dance lessons! Thanks again Danielle! We couldn’t have survived our dance without your help!
Allison Lennon: My now-husband and I had such an amazing time taking lessons with Danielle to prepare for the first dance at our wedding reception! We started off with only 10 classes, but quickly decided to do 10 more because we were having so much fun (and we needed the practice!).The dance was a huge hit at the reception! Everyone's been raving about it. Even better - we had such a great time doing it. We didn't feel nervous because Danielle had prepared us so well.Danielle even helped us practice our parent dances, with the two of us in the studio and our parents on Zoom. My parents had so much fun that they're now considering signing up for their own dance classes! We can't wait to be back to learn more social dancing! Danielle is an amazing teacher and the studio was such a beautiful space to practice.
Wil MacKenzie: My wife and I took 5 lessons with Danielle to prepare for our First Dance at our wedding and we're glad we did! She's an excellent teacher, and we had fun at all of our classes. Danielle did such a great job of helping us plan and prepare for a dance that pushed us just a bit outside of our comfort zone, without feeling too over the top. Thanks to Danielle's teaching, we turned our first dance into one of the most memorable parts of our reception for us and for our guests- who were shocked and impressed to see our new dancing skills in action!

Beau Monde: what do users think?
Chris Hackett: Amazing studio and phenomenal teacher. Ashan is wonderful and does more than teach you to dance, he teaches you to be an efficient and correct dancer.
Rose Weinberger: We have been taking dance lessons from Ashan for our "first dance" at our wedding reception next weekend. What a complete joy it has been!We were so nervous on our first lesson, literally shaking and tripping. He was so supportive and kind. Every week he taught us a little more. Now, after just nine weeks, we feel confident and proud to show our friends and family at the reception. Thank you Ashan!!!And yes! I highly recommend Beau Monde Ballroom. It is a beautiful venue with two studios and all the professional sound equipment that is needed to practice and perform. Ashan is an award-winning dancer AND a kind, uplifting person. We did not take lessons from the other instructors but met the pianist. She too was bright and friendly. We can't wait to get back from our honeymoon to continue our lessons for social dancing.
Franziska Griecci: I've been dancing with the Beau Monde team since 2014, following them when they changed locations from Woburn to Burlington. From the very first day, I have felt welcomed and that the instructors care about my personal pursuits, goals and achievements. Class time is always well-balanced between technical critiques and having fun. And even when I have had to take breaks, coming back feels refreshing and like I never left. So if you want to try something new or get back dancing, I really recommend. I always leave a lesson feeling happier and more confident, I hope you will too.
Susan Price: My husband and I have been coming since July 2019. We were taking lessons at another ballroom dance company and feel that they planted the seed, however, Beau Monde Ballroom took it to a higher level and have watered that seed to the point at which we feel we are truly blossoming. We have been under Nicole's tutelage and have found her to be highly professional, incredibly thorough, patient and proficient. We are still novices in the dance world, but, thanks to Nicole and Beau Monde Ballroom, we go out to the various venues and dance with confidence and pretty much accuracy. We look forward to our lessons. The instructors there are highly professional and very welcoming. We are truly grateful for this wonderful studio. After Nicole left, we became under Charisse's tutelage. Nicole surely laid the firm foundations for our dance skills after which Charisee moved us to a higher level. Charisse is genuinely affirming and encouraging and gets our blood moving. We have been extremely pleased with both Nicole and Charisse after which we are the beneficiaries of their highly professional skills, genuine love for their students, ardent and passionate love for the world of dance. These two amazingly wonderful ladies were handpicked for us.
Alex Kozlovsky: My wife and I have started taking lessons with Ashan, the studio owner, little bit more than 5 years ago. We have never danced before and, initially, just wanted to learn few Argentinian tango moves. Thanks to Ashan‘s personal touch and outstanding talent, we have grown into learning ballroom dancing and have started participating in competitions. We highly recommend Beau Monde studio to anyone , who wants to challenge self with learning the art of dance. The studio teachers are exceptionally skilled and extremely dedicated. Individualized approach makes you feel very comfortable and encouraged. But, be certain, you will sweat for your money. Ashan’s dance partner, Charisse, will lead you with her gentle touch and will make you levitate above the dance floor.Fabio and Nicole, will get the fire going under your feet, if you dare to take Latin dance lessons. The studio has the brand new, competition-size ballroom, which is full of light. Everything has been thought through to the smallest detail, so you wouldn’t get distracted from the dance practice. Truly, it’s worth it!
Michelle Avery: Beau Monde is a great studio for dancers of all ages, styles and abilities. They offer a variety of group classes outside of ballroom dancing and private lessons for all styles of ballroom. The space is gorgeous, with a full-sized ballroom and smaller space too. Ashan has really transformed my dancing and I highly recommend him as a teacher for anyone looking to improve their standard or smooth dancing!
Nadia Rawle: Ashan and Charisse co-own the brand new, beautiful dance studio called Beau Monde. They are passionate about what they do and have truly put a lot of effort into building their new studio. Their enthusiasm and charisma encourage students to keep coming back and trying again, no matter how tricky the step sequence might be. In my time of dancing at Beau Monde, I have learned more about dance than I’d ever thought I’d learn. Despite training more advanced dancers, the coaches are exceptionally patient and accommodating to newcomers. Beau Monde is a friendly environment and a great place to learn new things and make friends.Nadia RawleNorth Reading
Karen McColgan: Very professional staff. Always helpful and positive atmosphere. Beautiful studio.
Andrea Bourque: The studio is brand new and a beautiful space. It is a very positive and welcoming environment. Private lessons with Ashan has been one of the best experiences of my life. He really knows how to teach custom to your needs and level, especially for a beginner like me.
Chris Laudani: What a fabulous place this is! Brand new space with plenty of room to dance and staff that makes you feel right at home.I came to BMB for help with both my wife and I's first dance at our wedding and the mother son dance. If only, dear stranger, you knew how much help we needed.. oh boy it would be a totally different story. We were borderline hopeless. Over the summer we worked hard with Nicole at the studio and she took us from complete dancing disgraces to having our guests on their feet cheering when we finished. Both dances came out beautifully and we give Nicole all the thanks in the world for working with us and making it fun the whole way though. If I could give this place a 6 out of 5 I would. 5/5 for the services they provide, but an extra star for that feeling that Nicole legitimately cared about us, the wedding, and what we were doing. It was far from feeling like we were "just another client."Thanks for making our special day even more special Nicole and BMB!!!
Eileen Giliberti: Fabulous brand new studio filled with great professional instructors.I enjoy all the group classes they offer but I have to say Show Dance is my favorite with Nicole Harrington. I have been taking private lessons for three years with Ashan SamarasingheIn American Smooth and he is the bestwith every week a new experience !I am always looking forward to my next class. Not only have I learned to dance I have made some wonderful friends.
Lisa Farina: Beau monde ballroom... just like the name, my world is more beautiful dancing there.Brand new venue, amazing floors, flattering lighting and mirrors ;) and sparkles galore! Only to be outshined by its talented teachers. Dancing is so fun! I’ve made many friends here...and have never enjoy burning calories as much as in the group classes—cardio salsa, bellydancing and on-fleek choreo to name a few that I love!I’ve conquered some fears and accomplished a dream... of competing! Didn’t think I would have the guts to try it, but... since I love watching the dancing shows, I thought, why not. I can do that too, or I can learn. All decked out in a flowing rhinestoned gown dancing pro am with the best teacher I could ever imagine, Ashan. Dancing with you and along with everyone at the studio has enriched my life beyond measure!
Trisch VGM: By far the best dance studio and teachers around

Arthur Murray Dance Studio of Burlington: what do users think?
Alina Bondar: My husband and I started taking lessons when we were preparing for our first dance. We ended up actually really liking it and discovering a new hobby to share! The instructors are friendly, fun, and extremely beginner friendly! They do a great job supporting your dance goals and supporting you on your dance journey! Almost a year since we started lessons, we're still dancing our butts off every week (or more) at Arthur Murray.
Kris Lopez: With no children home, my husband and I were looking for a new activity to spend time together. This is definitely our place. When you walk in the door, it's so friendly, personal and welcoming. The instructors are so amazing, and each has their own something different to offer.
Joe McLaughlin: My daughter’s wedding was Covid restricted to 20 guests. A year later we were able to have the reception to celebrate with family and friends. I promised her no bad 1970’s swing and sway Father-Daughter dance. I drive by Arthur Murray Studio daily, so I decided to check out their website and sent an email. Within a couple of hours a response from Andrew and an offer for a complimentary lesson to see if they were a fit for us. After a quick discussion of our goals and expectations, we were paired with an instructor and on the dance floor. As a non-dancer I’ll admit I was petrified but their approach to teaching soon changed my fear with “I can do this.”The team choreographed the perfect Rumba for us and we pulled it off ALOMST flawlessly!I thought I was done but the offer of participating in group lessons and open dance time kept me coming back…. SO here I am a year later… I’ve stepped outside of my comfort zone, have gained more confidence in social settings (not that I was lacking), have added multiple dances to my repertoire and I’m having more fun than I ever expected. The staff and community of dancers has been great to be a part of. We’ve become a group of good friends in and out of the studio traveling the area attending various dancing events. Professionally I’ve also been able to network with others that have become valuable assets.Do yourself a favor and give them a try, you won’t regret it!
Jim Marcotte: My wife and I have talked about taking ballroom dance lessons for decades and finally signed up for a introductory class. That night we signed up for 8 more and 6 lessons later we signed up for 48 more! We are loving the mental challenge of learning something new and look forward to each lesson. The instructors are all great and bring something a little different to each lesson. It is a very fun environment and they make you feel welcome and part of the Arthur Murray Burlington family. If you have ever thought of trying ballroom dancing I highly recommend the Arthur Murray Dance Studio of Burlington.
Lauren Hamblett: From my very first introduction lesson at Arthur Murray Burlington, the studio has been a joy to be part of. I can’t thank the teachers enough for their high energy, structured and fun lessons. All of the students are very welcoming and excited to learn - I am proud to be part of a great community of people! I look forward to dancing every week and would highly recommend it to anyone.
Deborah and Terry O'Kelly: When I took my first dance lesson at Arthur Murray Burlington, I was hoping to learn a few dances to feel comfortable dancing at weddings. Now, three years later, going to the Burlington studio has become so much more. My time in the studio is my time to relax, explore new ways to move, engage my mind and creativity, and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow students. Everyone is so warm and friendly, and the instructors are all encouraging, patient and fun. It’s my favorite place to be!
Sarah Baughman: In September of 2022, my partner and I started taking dance lessons for our wedding, with the intention of also learning some social dances and having a fun winter activity to do together. We chose the Burlington location because it was most convenient to us, and now we can't imagine going to another studio. The staff and the other students are kind, funny, and make the experience so enjoyable. At first, the dance parties and events seemed intimidating but we quickly grew comfortable because of how welcoming everyone is.We look forward to the classes and private lessons every week - not just because of the improvement we're seeing in our dance technique, but because we get to socialize with great people.Over the last 5 months or so, we have learned elementary steps for 6 dances, and seen so much improvement in the way that we move. Our first dance is also coming along well and we are excited to show our friends and family what we've learned.Dancing at Arthur Murray of Burlington has brought us joy and given us more confidence on the dance floor. We are without a doubt planning to continue lessons after our wedding. We can't wait to see how far we will go!
Maretta Morovitz: My husband and I came to AM Burlington for our wedding dance but have stayed and continued dancing. The supportive teachers and fun community environment make learning to dance an absolute blast. Would recommend to anyone from beginner to more experienced student.
yukari watanabe: I always wanted to learn social dancing but I never had a time to do so. I thought it was too late for me to start the lesson, and I would be intimidated by younger and experienced dancers. But, you never know until you start. So, I gave myself a gift of dancing lessons. When I visited the Burlington studio for a trial lesson, I found instructors a lot warmer and friendlier than I had imagined. I immediately felt comfortable, and I decided to try everything they would teach me. I initially just wanted to learn Salsa and Swing, but I became interested in other dances, too. The lessons and the dance parties on Saturdays give me joy. I'm grateful to all the instructors at AM Burlington for my joyful experience.
Hannah Wagner: We had the best experience! We went for two lessons to get some basics down for our first dance at our wedding. Both instructors we worked with were fun, supportive, and helpful!! We feel much more confident and are so grateful for their help.
Colleen Bidgood: My husband and I went to Arthur Murray in Burlington to prep for our wedding first dance, and it was the best part of wedding planning that we were able to do together. We worked with Maya and it was something we looked forward to every week. Neither of us had any dance experience and we were able to practice enough to be comfortable and shine on our wedding day! Thank you to the entire Arthur Murray team, we hope to be back soon!
kathleen felt: I came to Arthur Murray of Burlington early November 2019... Dance was something I've always wanted to learn for myself. They offered an introductory lesson, honestly I was petrified. That quickly turned to excitement. They were so warm and welcoming. I was paired with one of their fabulous instructors. this giving me the advantage as one on one is the best way of learning...Theses instructors are brilliant!... Each have their own unique way of teaching and they customize an individual plan per student. They are kind, encouraging and can teach ANYONE to dance.. most importantly, it's fun!I am now 4mns into this new life- love of dance.I am one of the family. The Arthur Murray of Burlington family.Such a supercool family that gathers friday nights (aka practice dances) to Foxtrot, Tango, Salsa, Rumba, Club swing, Cha Cha and Waltz.Dance has become a great way to express myself. Truly a euphoric feeling..If you are thinking about it- stop thinking and just do it!You don't want to die with your music in you!
Zach H: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueWe took lessons before our wedding to learn and create our first dance, and it was a great investment! Andrew and team Burlington were kind, patient and extremely helpful as well as flexible with scheduling. We would recommend them to anyone!
Karla Zevallos: I was very fortunate to have found Andrew and his team from Arthur Murray in Burlington at the end of August. I lead a Latinx Group within an organization and our members asked for Salsa lessons. I looked at many places and Arthur Murray Studio was by far the best option! Great customer service from the get-go, absolutely fair one-hour fee, flexible and professional. Andrew and his team went above and beyond; they are not only amazing dancers and instructors but they also came prepare with their own sound system, greeted each person in the room and made sure everyone was engaged and felt included. At the end of the lesson, we all felt reenergized! On top of his great service, he sent us an email the next day thanking us and offering discounts for future lessons. Amazing company!
James Szabo: We are thrilled with our experience at the Arthur Murray dance center in Burlington. My daughter has been dancing since she was a little girl, but as a high schooler, she wanted to learn ballroom. She could do a pirouette, but couldn't do the Foxtrot, Waltz, or any other social dance. So, we decided to try out Arthur Murray. After just a few short months, she looks like she has been dancing ballroom for a decade! Her pace of learning has been extraordinary. And she's excited to be learning so many new dances - Foxtrot, Waltz. Swing, Samba, Rumba, Tango, Cha Cha, Hustle, Merengue, Salsa, etc.Plus the folks at Arthur Murray Burlington make everyone feel comfortable. They even let Dad get on the Dance floor from time to time.I think everyone should learn ballroom dance - no matter what their age - and Arthur Murray is the best place to learn.
Catherine Santucci: I started with Arthur Murray Burlington as a way to try something new, meet some new people, and get out of my comfort zone. The every single one of the teachers were so encouraging and happy to be there. The best part is the weekly dance parties- every week I feel like a better dancer and it's such a fun way to meet other students and practice (and show off!) what I've learned! Dancing is something I wasn't sure I was going to enjoy and now I can't get enough!
lydia thompson: Years ago I knew someone who danced at Aurthur Murry and I always enjoyed dancing with him at the club. After surviving breast cancer my doctor wanted me to do something I enjoyed which the only thing I ever really enjoyed was Ballroom dancing. I called Aurthur Murry Burlington the very best thing I could have done. I was met with warmth understanding and a sense of a family of dance, always professional and making me feel comfortable dancing in any occasion. My doctors are so happy I have come a long way because of dancing at Aurthur Murry Studio team Burlington Thank you all!!!!
Kim Martell: We took classes at Arthur Murray to prepare for our first dance at our wedding, and we could not be happier with the results! While my wife is a natural and was a very quick learner, I have two left feet. The instructors were incredibly skilled, enthusiastic, patient, and encouraging. They learned our style and strengths and choreographed an outstanding routine, which we were able to execute with confidence! We were repeatedly astounded by the professionalism and kindness of everyone, from our primary instructors, Andrew and Nick, to the entire team. We really could not recommend Arthur Murray highly enough. They are so committed to their craft, students and to the art of dance. We are incredibly thankful!
Johanna Enwright: To all my fellow brides who are looking for dance lessons for your wedding, look no further. Arthur Murray offers a memorable experience for you and your future husband! The studio atmosphere is young and hip with talented instructors ready to teach you all the moves you need for your big day. Don’t have a song in mind for your first dance, not to worry! All the instructors are ready to help you create your vision. I cannot recommend this studio enough and happy to have a home away from home at Arthur Murray Burlington.
Kelsey Peterson: Everyone at Arthur Murray Burlington is awesome! We've been dancing here for about 8 months and have learned so much and had so much fun. All the teachers are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, and the whole community is full of friendship and joy. The new studio is beautiful and spacious.
joseph Bottari: Had a great time at at the ribbon cutting ceremony today with the Burlington Chamber of Commerce! Got a bit of a lesson from Devon on how I can learn rythym. Great place with great instructors!
