Bonsai West: what do users think?
Rachel Pookles: This is one of the most beautiful places to walk through even if you aren't necessarily looking for a bonsai. Their bonsai's are breathtaking, you may not be able to leave without one. The staff here is incredible as well. Emmy helped me repot my bonsai when I was worried I had done it wrong. They're so kind and helpful I wasn't worried about bringing it back to ask for help! If I could give this place higher than 5 stars I honestly would. Chef's kiss.
Alex Manoogian: A world class bonsai nursery with amazing trees and amazing people. This is a great place to come visit and just walk around, whether you are buying a bonsai or not.
Susan Houghton: Took two beginner classes, both were awesome. The instruction and instructors were wonderful. Step by step we created our “trees”, with gentle guidance from the experts. I will definitely take more classes and bring my friends along.
sam blake: Amazing place with beautiful bonsais and very helpful people!
Joe T: Such a beautiful bonsai garden. It's one of the best in the country!
William Papura: So much to see. Beautiful grounds, impressive display trees, and a wide selection of reasonably priced specimens.
Stephen Moore: Always nice, friendly, knowledgeable people and beautiful bonsai to look at.
Chris Pierce: A beautiful spot to stroll and appreciate living art. Some of the trees are more than two centuries old and are a sight to behold. They carry a range of trees, including evergreens and tropicals, and while the majority of their costs will leave you reeling, they do offer inexpensive solutions for novices, such as soil and pots.
Michael Kiely: Almost like visiting a botanical garden, but smaller local and free admission! Looking forward to signing up for a class with my wife. They had an amazing collection of quality bonsai and the staff are very friendly.
Scott M: Great place to visit. An amazing collection of Bonsai plants for sale and on display.
Jonathan Algeo: My partner and I just took the Juniper introductory class with Joe and Michael (the owner), and had an absolute blast. I'm so happy with and excited to begin caring for my tree, and the love that the staff at Bonsai West have for the craft is apparent and infectious. For three hours of close instruction and a tree to take home, the price is extremely reasonable as well. The classes, as I write this, are all full so give a call and get on the waiting list if that's still true whenever you read this! What a delightful date 😁
rishi lad: Beautiful bonsai. Very well maintained place. Incredible work!!! 🌳
Joe Murray: Amazing
Pauline Reid: Love the place an the selection was great
Joe Hamilburg: Very knowledgeable, nice people. And the bonsai selection is terrific.
Jerry Fleenor: Great place tons of Bonsai to look at and plenty helpful staff!
Alexander Gaetz: Beautiful place. The employees are beyond nice and helpful. The tree selection is great.
J G: So many Bonsai options. The perfect place to get supplies and inspiration.
Dylan Charles: This is the second time we've been here and, just as before, the staff was very helpful and took the time to answer our questions. They are a great resource for those looking to get into this hobby.
Senor Martinez: Excellent trees and service. Worth checking out
Jordan Vigneaux: Great deals on pots

Weston Nurseries - Chelmsford (retail & wholesale location): what do users think?
Maggie Blair: The staff is friendly and helpful without being intrusive. A wide variety of annuals, perennials, and seasonal plants for landscaping. Inside, you'll also find a curated collection of potted plants.
Tony Carter: For several years now, I have had nothing but positive experiences while working with Jim at Weston Nurseries. They always provide an excellent service and ship promptly. Over the previous two growing seasons, Weston has successfully fulfilled dozens of plant lists for our company.
Bryn Dews: We love the staff, the store and the plants and accoutrements. Great nursery! We've gotten shrubs, trees, houseplants, gifts (birdbath, ceramic pots, puzzles, etc.). And extra bonus, Tandoori Food Truck was there today! Lunch!!We had a tree that we bought (Redbud) that didn't survive so they credited us for it and helped us pick something more hardy (native magnolia).
Lee Anne D.: They have very helpful staff that don't hover. Lots of landscaping plants/materials and a large selection of seasonal flora. They have a small but choice selection of indoor plants inside as well.
Karen Krieger: Beautiful, healthy plants! I was here today by chance, (my local greenhouse was delayed open due to wx) such a lovely surprise, houseplants on sale! Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and even gave me a coupon for next time.
Richard J. Sheehan: Very helpful.. looking for a unique tree... Japanese Umbrella Pine. Thanks 👍
Kylie Young: We stopped for Mother’s Day. Impressive selections, without the overwhelming volumes. This place was the perfect stop for a gift for mom. Perennials, annuals, supplies and gift items. Great customer service as well.
Joseph Klufts: I have been working with Jim at Weston Nurseries for a few years and have not had a single bad experience. They consistently have the best product and deliver on time. He has filled dozens of plant lists for us over the past two seasons and I would highly recommend Weston for any of your projects.
Kim Chiasson: Beautiful Nursery..Gorgeous healthy plants and extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff..I will be visiting there again and again..!
Majik Cache: Very. Friendly. Great service. Helpful advice. Well worth a visit
David Kalivas: We were at the Chelmsford location. Excellent selection, vibrant looking flowers, bushes, and trees! Staff were friendly, informative, and very helpful in general! Wonderful place!
William Band: Lots of stock and helpful service for finding the specific plants I was looking for.
Alec Rogers: I went to the Hopkinton location and getting help was like pulling teeth. Waited a long time to find out they didn't have the tree I was looking for.Went here to the Chelmsford location and found 12 of what I wanted! Also, 2 very helpful associates to get me out of there quickly. Thank you!
Mike Houston: Nice people working there. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Nice selection of plants, bushes ect.
Darrell Stam: Fantastic garden center with a wide variety of plants, shrubs, trees, garden tools, mulch, etc. This is my first place to come when looking for plants that will survive in our zone.
Robert Janis: Helpful to get what you need.
Lisa Richards: Jenny is so fabulous and is my go-to person for all of my plant needs. She is so courteous, helpful and conscientious in filling my orders. I have purchased many hydrangeas and petunias from the Chelmsford store, and they have all been simply beautiful plants. We have no in- person contact - all is done over the phone. Wonderful service and plants, just outstanding!!
Judith Jacobs: I have been getting my shrubs and perrenials at the Chelmsford location over the past 3 years since I located this nursery. I live close to Boston and have become disappointed with the options close to me. The Hopkinton location is not as Chelmsford. The staff is not helpful and their plants are not as well maintained as Chelmsford. I was at both locations yesterday and during spring and fall last year. I will continue to use on Chelmsford going forward. Joe, provided assistance with his knowledge of plants and care requirements. I was there for about 2 hours looking for ground covers and perrenials and he helped with getting my soil before closing. It's a pleasure shopping there. I will never shop anywhere else for my outdoor landscape. Their prices are excellent. When you buy outdoor plants, it's important that they are healthy and have been properly maintained. I have shopped at a variety of nurseries and big box stores over the years. Weston Nurseries, especially Chelmsford does it right. Why shop anywhere else?
Steves Beez: Great place beekeeping supplies from Steve's bees and Honey Bee classes
Cynde Reilly: Very helpful staff and beautiful selection for decor inside and out.
Stephanie Tarasuk: Edit to add: after posting this review Weston Nurseries reached out to me and offered to replace the plant in question as well as remediation techniques to clear the bugs and keep the plant healthy. Since I preferred to keep it they instead issued me a refund, which was very generous and unexpected. Excellent customer service!Lots of outdoor plants, grounds and buildings in great condition. The greenhouses were on the small side and not a lot of variety. But I found a beautiful Chinese evergreen that had been on my wishlist. It looked perfect. The next day I found a mealybug on one of the leaves, and after cleaning all of the leaves, unpotted it to find what appear to be root mealybug eggs all over the roots. Houseplant sales are final; I am extremely disappointed.

Russell's Garden Center: what do users think?
Jay Tailor (J): If you're looking to add varieties in your lawn, I guess you can go visit here.
Sharon Rosenzweig: Had exactly the plant I was looking for at a reasonable price.
Sebastian Ebarb: Love this place. Prices are a little on the high side and inside is like a rabbit warren. But the staff and knowledge are unmatched
Jane Parker: Fabulous winter farmers market. Many vendors and a wide variety of products and produce.
Melinda Petit: Russell's is a local gem! Great staff, they have an extensive garden supply, greenhouse, seasonal plants business. And they also have a great gift shop with unique finds, handmade gifts and everything you need for backyard birding.
Antonella D'Eramo: I'm not sure if they have the best trees (seems like they might) or the best prices but we returned for our Christmas tree again this year thanks to the customer service. The staff is SO kind and merry. Andy helped us put the tree on the car and my 3 year old son already can't wait to go back next year.
Jeffrey Dalio: I want to say that this is an amazing place to be any time of the year. But today was an off day for one of the employees. I have been collecting for 9 years in this store. Christmas elves. There not inexpensive. So I asked and the response was. We can't please everyone. I work retail and this would not have been my answer to a customer. Again this is an amazing place. Thank you
David Mooers: Best garden center in the area. Also an excellent place for Christmas decorations and custom wreaths.
Warren Dottin: A trip to Russells is always an enjoyable time and today was no exception. The employees are always so friendly knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you so much!
Daya Puls: This is a great place, no matter what season. I can wander for hours....We went for our winter Amaryllis bulbs.
Zubair Khan: An awesome place to be in summer. It's happening and fun to visit. I always get my aquatic plants here at the start of summer.
Kate McPherson: We used Russell's Garden Center for all of our flowers for our wedding, and we could not have been happier. From the moment we met Bev, we knew we were in good hands. She helped us pick the perfect flowers while still staying within our budget. She also created a floral arrangement on an arch we had rented, and it looked beautiful. We were thrilled with everything.
Jenna Lamb: Staff is super helpful
Kirby Ledvina: We used Russell's as our wedding florist and are so happy we did. Would ABSOLUTELY recommend. Bev in their floral department was wonderful to work with - she was so responsive and created some beautiful arrangements within our very restricted budget. The Garden Center itself is really nice and fun to explore, too! We live on the other side of town but will stop by next time we're in the area.
Mark Delacruz: Tina from "Trees & Shrubs" made this place quite spectacular. Everyone was incredibly pleasant and informed about the plants and products. I have returned twice already this week. The quantity and quality of the selection are unrivaled. I will conclude by praising the personnel, it was a wonderful experience!
Jake Pereira: If you can’t find what your looking for here… it doesn’t exist. From faux to the real deal they seem to have everything and anything plant related, house plants, trees, even water features! Also everyone is super knowledgeable!
Go Flying: Great selection of Annuals.
Elizabeth Caruso: I have shopped at Russell's for many years. I noticed that the prices seemed higher than the usual increases on my last visit, but hey, you know... everything costs more this year. They have a helpful staff and good selection of well cared for plants.Deliveries of plant material come in every week, so call and ask if there's something special you seek. They give a 10% discount to Mass Hort members, as well as to members of WGBH, WBUR, Tower Hill Botanic Garden, NE Wildflower Society, and the Arnold Arboretum, and US Military.NOTE TO GARDENERS: Plastic pots are in short supply! Keep yours out of the landfill by returning them to the nursery on your next visit.
Mark Thompson: Enormous place with enough terrific inventory to keep you looking for days. In addition to every flower, tree, and shrub imaginable, they have everything one needs for one's yard, PLUS clothing and gifts.
Merleen Mills: Incredible selection of annuals and perennials, including native plants. Love this place, year round!
Todd Maguire: Best garden center in MetroWest.
