J & W Shoe Repair: what do users think?
Barb Kane: Sam did a super repair on 2 pairs of men’s dress shoes/ expensive repair but the workmanship was great, making these leather shoes like new. Bravo!
Lisa Belfiore: Sam is awesome! I went to drop off some dance shoes for repair, and he was working with another client to repair riding boots. It's an absolute waste to just buy another pair of specialty shoes when you can easily have them repaired. You don't get quality customer service like this anymore, but you do here! Will definitely recommend, and will definitely be back!
Gabrielle Ribortone: We’ve had a great experience with J&W. Sam has been incredibly helpful in widening everything from football cleats to basketball shoes. Very professional establishment with fair prices. Highly recommend.
AJ Cullen: Sam is a lifesaver! I purchased a pair of Christian Louboutin pumps for my wedding and waited months for them to arrive after a lengthy backorder. Upon receiving the shoes from Nordstrom I discovered they were defective. Neither Nordstrom nor CL would assist me in rectifying this situation. Sam was able to complete an extremely difficult repair (having to take apart and reassemble an entire shoe) for me just in time for my wedding. He was helpful, accommodating, and willing to give us a reasonable price which was very appreciated when planning and paying for a wedding. These shoes were my only "splurge" and "must have" for my wedding and thanks to Sam's hard work I will have my "Cinderella" shoes on my wedding day!
Donald Lafond: I was given a price for two pairs of boots to be repaired, sole savers and heel plates. It was a lot higher than I normally pay. .. I told him to hold off on one of them.. he charged me 25.00 over what he quoted.. and ripped the heels off the other pair after I told him not to touch the second pair. When I picked them up, the work performed was sub par compared to the person I’ve used for many years. He charges high prices not warranted for his poor quality of workmanship. I gave him one star because there was no place to give him none. Now the boots I told him not to touch.. can’t be worn at all.. and cash only.. no receipt..
Anna Dixon: Please go here! The man that runs this business is so nice and accommodating. You could not dream of better customer service.
Nicholas Morales: Dont go here ! Brought a couple pairs of jordans in after the weird owner insisted i do . After 2 months i call to see how its going and owner gets mad . Eventually went to pick one pair up (which looked exactly the same as when i brought it) and the other he said would be done soon . I gave up calling and its now almost a year with a pair of sneakers . I gave up and let the weird man keep it!
Benjamin Breton: Sam does amazing work! I am constantly receiving compliments on my shoes after I get work done on them and/or shined. Sam is always available and works very quickly. I highly recommend him to anyone!
Bob Smith: Had an old leather jacket from the 70's that was in need of a new zipper and some TLC and Sam was able to hydrate and clean the leather and get a new YKK zipper on the jacket and it looks like what I imagine it did when it was new.My only criticism was the way transactions were handled, in terms of cash/check up front and lack of receipts. At first this made me uneasy but I'm glad to say that the work was completed in a reasonable amount of time and with much quality and he did provide a receipt upon request. I would suggest that he expand his payment options and paper trail but other that that fantastic work!
Elliot Silvia: Sam provided fantastic service fixing a zipper on a fanny pack!! He even cleaned and waterproofed it for me free of charge!! I will definitely be returning here!!
Ronald Ead: I received a handful of very expensive fine leather belts as a gift. They were all used and all oversized, but beautiful enough to invest in saving. Sam resized and refinished them all to my more narrow waist. They came out fitting perfect and looking like new. Thanks.
Angela O'Dowd: Sam is great! I went in with some of my more expensive shoes that are getting worn down, he replaced the bottom parts and they’re much sturdier and less slippery now. So I went back with a bunch of my new shoes and had those done proactively so they never get too worn. I think his rates might be a little higher than some other places, but he will give you discounts if you do multiple pairs.
Matt Rutter: I brought a pair of boots and a pair of wingtips in for some work and I am so happy with the result. Both of them were LONG overdue for work - the sole of the wingtips basically had to be rebuilt. Really happy with how they came out.
jennifer kullgren: I was a little worried at first because I love my boots and had a hard time trusting anyone to not ruin them but they came out awesome and he did a little extra at no additional cost.
Anya V: Wish I could give zero stars. Scam artist do not give him a cent. Jacked up my friend’s shoes and now she’s literally crying, they meant so much to her.
Irene Kimbrell: It was great, wonderful service and the boots looks like new.
William Porter: They have been in the area for ever I would trust them with anything he's great
Joseph Swales: I had work boots repaired great work, great price!
George Markos: Went to see Sammy to get a high end backpack repaired. Came out as good as new. Very quick and efficient. I would recommend this place to anyone. Nothing but top quality work !
Zach K: Got my boots to fit like a glove. He’s a professional.
Shakira Forever: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueGreat service, Sam is awesome

Hollywood Shoe Repair: what do users think?
Steve Faber: Had my heavy duty hiking boots resoled. When I picked them up, the collar on the top of the ankle was also repaired (something I didn't think was going to be possible as the leather was so thick.Beautiful job for very fair price. Will travel the considerable distance to have any shoe repair done by this artisan.PS - Back when I first discovered him (I believe his shop was in Walpole at the time) I learned that he also will make custom shoes or hiking boots from scratch. He is a master craftsman.
Buck Crowley: Great service, very talented and experienced working in leather.
Ken L: My leather shoes were shined and cleaned very well for my wedding. The service was prompt and was affordable. Definitely recommend !
Rachael Tripp: The owner was so kind to help me out in a pinch (repairs overnight), and is a salt of the earth kind of business owner. We need more folks like him!
Evil Queen: Gave my Birkenstocks a new life!
Beth Rizzo: I went in here after reading reviews because I needed to have a purse strap shortened. I wasn’t quite sure how it would be done, but this man is an expert at his craft. He took one look at the strap, could see that it was way too long on me and we measured what we thought would be the right length for the strap. I didn’t want to leave the bag. It has sentimental value for me, and asked if I could just leave the strap with him to fix and I would come back for it. He asked me if I could wait 10 minutes and said he could do it right now. The work is impeccable and it’s perfect. Bless him! What a lost art form. I hope he is in business for many, many years. Excellent work, a super kind and professional man.
Stacy Lamb: 4 pairs of boots needed polish and some repairsGot them back and look brand new. And price is ridiculous (cheap). He said he had been doing this for 28 years and you can tell by his work and prices. Gave him a tip and he was so thankful and happy. Loved himReminded me of my Papa.
Richard P: I was very pleased. The owner told me exactly how he was going to fix my shoe and he's only going to take three days to do it! He also didn't charge me in advance which is unusual because his colleagues always make you pay upfront. It'll be interesting to see what he charges me!
Nicole M: The gentleman that runs this store is amazing at his craft. I bought three pairs a fry boots and the zippers were basically junk and I brought the boots into him and he replaced the zippers and the stitching next to the zippers for $50 a pair. The boots are very expensive and the zippers that they sell on the boots are cheap quality, and he put very nice zippers in so they wouldn’t bust when I wore them which was what was happening. Not only did it extend the boots a little in the calf area, it was so much easier to zip up. Highly recommend! He did it in one day!
Jerry Murray: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueHave always had great experiences here! I have brought in leather, shoes, coats, sandals, baseball gloves and all done promptly and professionally. It is my go to place and I love recommending it to everyone. It is a hidden treasure. I love going in and seeing them cutting leather to make custom boots. A true craftsman!
Matthew Rausch: I dropped shoes off last week that I am bringing on vacation leaving tomorrow. Was told to pick up on Monday. Im here its closed website says open, the sign on the door also says closed tomorrow. I was told to come back Today. Phone number does not have a mailbox. No way to get ahold of anyone if they are not in the store. Very upset I was referred here and this was my experience. Now they will have to sit for 2 weeks. Till I get back and hope they are open.
Mike Sr Doucette: I think this place is one of the best!!!
mark oneill: Friendly staff and great price
Joanne S: Positive:Professionalism,QualityHe did a beautiful job uplifting 3 pairs of old worn out leather boots. One pair was over ten years old and he made them look like new again.
Nadia Mounsif: Adorable owner and personAwesome prices and great service. Definitely one of my go to places
Leo Thifault: Great small business!
Jordan Miller: This guy's awesome.
Joan Berdan: The owner is a wonderful man! He does excellent work with only minimal charges. I wouldn't go anywhere else!
Katarina Zinberg: Wonderful gentleman! Fabulous job, very reasonably priced. Waited for me for 15 min extra after he was already closed while I was stuck in traffic & really needed my shoes that night. Thank you again, you are the BEST!
A H: After I spent two hours fixing heel caps, I decided to bring my shoes here. Very affordable price! I am so glad that I did not need to give away my favorite shoes. Thank you for your business.
Alex Bakuta: Great service for a good price!

Completely Heeled Shoe Repair: what do users think?
Brian Lumb: Why replace good shoes when you can just get them fixed?I have used their services a couple of times and love their work. I still wish they sewed the soles instead of gluing but they still come out great.I made the mistake of walking in some snow and mud-covered rocks during a business trip. This resulted in the leather being stained and the soles being badly damaged.Completely Heeled replaced the soles and heels while also repairing some of the staining. The results of his work are shown here.Awesome job and I highly recommend this business.
Scott Dellisola: I had a leather Cheerleading Bracelet I bought when my Daughter Competed at Worlds Cheer Comp in Orlando (Disney) in her Sophomore year in High. She is now In College and Competing Again Both on Louisville Kent. College Cheer and Worlds Again. The snap was broke and it fell off more times than I Could remember. I took it to Sam Youssef , he repaired it for me. It Means so much to me. Thanks Sam . Scott Dell
Gina Burrell: Sam is unbelievable! Not only is he kind and most helpful, but he truly knows his business. I don’t think I’ve ever been to a better shoe repair… not here or in California where I am originally from. I drove 45 minutes to see him, and it was worth every single minute. He fixed my boots beautifully. I needed a zipper and before he put it on he had me come to try them on to make sure he was leaving me the right amount of room. He’s a perfectionist. You’ll do well by using him!!!!!
George Pardi: I went in today to get some stitching done on my Keen sandals. When I arrived, the shop was closed, but Sam was standing out and explained that he was in the process of moving the business around the corner to another location. When I mentioned that I had come from some distance away, he beckoned me in and did the repair while I waited. I was SO happy that I didn't have to come back on another day. Sam treated me right!
Adnan Tahir: Excellent place! Love the guy!
Gary Greene: It’s Friday afternoon and I’m leaving for my son’s wedding in two days. I realized my shoes look as old as they are, purchased decades ago, and they needed help very quickly. I found Sam by googling shoe repair. He told me that he closed at 4:00 but if I could get there by 3:00 he’d help me out. And that’s exactly what he did. They look like new! Repairs not needed but he did a wonderful job sprucing them up on extremely short notice for someone he’d never met. I’m completely grateful and will bring any business I might have in the future to him.
Claire Coleman: Remarkably talented cobbler! I have been going here for over 10 years and my shoes look like new! Sometimes you have a favorite pairs of shoes from years ago, well this guy can transform them back to their original glory. Great customer service! I know I will be going back time and time again!
Lauren M: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueHad my husbands boots re soled and they came out great! Look and feel brand new for half the price of new work boots!
Alexander Gould (Alex): Sam is extremely helpful, very nice, and does a great job of turning beat up shoes into good-as-new or better condition! Great customer service!
William Hadley: Legitimate multi-generational family owned cobbler shop. They do their work cleanly with quality materials.
Ruth Licata: Prompt service. A true craftsman.
Tim Westfall: Great cobbler experience. I took in some old hiking shoes to get a few extra years out of some boots and the stitching replacement and patching was above and beyond expectations. Highly recommended for even the smallest of repairs.
Tom Farrell: Awesome place they fix my boots in one day
Jonathan Vasconcelos: Fairly priced, excellent service. Gave him a couple pairs including Bostonian, Aldo, and Johnston and Murphy and he completely brought them back to life.
Manette Pacheco: They do a great job at reasonable prices.
Kerrie Densmore: I've had a few pair of leather boots stretched out and zippers moved due to large calves and I am always impressed with the quality work and turn around time. So nice to still have this type of business in town. Highly recommend!
Nebal Al-Taweel: Always come here for my shoes and purses. Probably would have had to throw away some of my favorite shoes if it wasn’t for Sam working his magic...Quality work, highly recommended!!
Don Clark: Completely Heeled is a fine place to have shoes and leather goods repaired. The proprietor is a friendly, third generation cobbler. His store is clean, organized and bright. My only nitpick is his cost. To be fair you should give him a try.
LA: Excellent work and very honest and fair! I trust Sam with all my shoes and purses. He even did a wonderful cleaning and treatment for my leather couches.
Kyle Cady: I went to Sam to see if part of my boot could be modified to relieve my heel of pain. I am pleased to say that it has worked and it was done very professionally and you cannot even tell that the boot has been modified which is great. The service was reasonably priced, timely, and all around excellent. Sam deserves five stars and I would recommend him to anyone due to his expertise.
Noah Thomas: I brought my Johnston and Murphy Chelsea boots to him for a new sole and some work on the inside, they look and feel better than they ever had. Also, he went through everything he was going to do before and after he did it and made sure of exactly what I wanted. I will be bringing all of my shoes here from now on.

David's Shoe Repair: what do users think?
Ted Rokosz: Well he did a great job, priced fair (unlike a comment here), quick service, I knew cost up-front and he takes several ways to pay (just not credit but that doesn’t bother me it’s the quality of the results).
A B: They do good work but it's pricey and it's cash-only + paid in advance. In 2022, that is pretty inconvenient. Please add more modern payment methods.
Colleen Martin: Never had any thing but excellent results of my shoes being repaired by David's shoe repair. My Ugg slippers were restored beautifully. I have gotten consistently great service!
An-Chian Kao: Positive:Professionalism,QualityDavid did an excellent job on my boots! They were extremely worn and beat up and David replaced the heel, re-dyed the leather and polished them! They look brand new! It probably wasn't the cheapest place I could have gone, but the workmanship was excellent.
Keara McCartney: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Value
Sue Welch: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueDavid is friendly, helpful, accommodating, and does great quality workmanship!
Ed Onofrio: high quality work
Patti Sullivan: Nice folks! Good work!
Big Steve: Not cheap but fine quality work
Lee Britton: Went once before and got gouged for work. Gave him another chance. Brought in a pair of boots to have the soles reattached. This involves removing the sole, run the soles and boots over a sanding belt, apply contact glue and let dry. He was trying to tell me it would take two hours and wanted to charge me $90.00!Took the to a long time cobbler in Methuen $15.00.
Nicholas Wilder: Friendly couple that knows what their doing. Very accommodating to your needs. Can fix, clean, and revive almost anything worth saving. And not just shoes. Purses, briefcases, and expensive handbags brought back to life.
Judy Zagzoug: Love this place, they make keys too!!!
craig worden: My wife has a pair of "flats".One shoe has a problem w/ the sole. The quoted price to repair & install a 3/4 sole was an astonishing $92 for leather and $82 for plastic.ONE SHOE ONLY!!!!Buyer beware!Outrageous, I'll never return!

ally: Great repair on my son’s soccer cleats. Great prices. Very quick service. Thank you so much!
Robert Stewart: Best shoe repair store I ever visited. They even shine shoes and make minorRepairs while you wait. Larry is a gem.
Theresa Murphy: Very friendly and great work
Donna Tecce: Positive:Professionalism,Quality
Joseph Marino: Positive:QualityLarry was awesome, did a great job as well
John Halsey: Excellent service, very friendly....very skilled cobbler. Knowledgeable
Erica Robinson-Johnson: Great work, BUT leather shoes came back wreaking of cigarette smoke...I will not be back
Paul Scharr: Good work. Reasonable price. Friendly service.
Samantha Scott: Finding a good cobbler these days is hard to do. I was in need of new plastic tips on a few pairs of Michael Kors heels after they had fallen off and I was down to the metal, totally ruining the heel. For about $20/pair, The Village Cobbler repaired and polished my shoes while I waited. His shop is in his house, so when you pull up to the driveway, just knock on the door to the right of the front door. Very nice man, great work, reasonable price.
Linda Burns: Excellent repair work for pair of Ferragamo women's heels, men's shoes, and casual shoes. Work done on-time and reasonable prices. Very customer-oriented. Convenient hours.

Renee Solomon: Outstanding service and very reasonable charges. I highly recommend Town Cobbler!
Edwin Laverty: Brought a pair of shoes in where one shoe separated from the sole. Tom looked at the shoes and suggested I replace the heels as the uppers were in good shape. He did the repair, have new heels, and did a great shine. They are like new, yet just as comfortable. Nice gent!!
joseph lahood: Give been to pretty much all.of them in the area and this man is the only reasonably priced one left. I hope everyone starts going to him because folks are only going to spend so much repairing shoes and boots. I hate throwing out repairable boots but even I have a limit. He put a new zipper pull on my Bates Rider Collection motorcycle boots. When the zippers go their trash so for $15 it was worth extending their life.
Angel Gallardo: That men knows his stuff.. I was satisfied by how work
Zachary Roberge: I guess being the boss you make your own hours
Michael Morrisey: He resoled my Irish Setters. They feel better than when they were first bought.Thank You

Q Fierce: Tom is wonderful. He will listen to you and try to figure out a solution. Fair prices and friendly guy

Joseph Therriault: I been there multiple times to get my heels replaced in a pair of fry boots and I will keep going back. His prices are amazing and he does a good shine. The place is a bit of a mess but he will take care of you very quickly.
