National Streetcar Museum at Lowell: what do users think?
Michael Luu: Bless their hearts. I do wish they would update their content. I'm glad to support their efforts by attending. Do not expect to spend much time here.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No Price for adult entry $1–5 …More
Brendan Donoghue: This is a very small museum, but is a little jewel hidden in lowell. Its completely volunteer run, and servers as a satellite to the Kennebunk Maine museum as well as an information center about the trolleys they run during the warmer weather. The majority of the museum is informational, with a few artifacts and a number of interatbule exhibits geared to kids. The second floor is intended for children, and is very cute. Some of the exhibits are a bit dated, but it would have been a blast as small kid interested in trains and trolleys. As a heads up, its cash only or eventbirght ticket. Also, if you are interested in driving a trolly, they offer course at the Kennebunk museum. ask the volunteer at the desk about it!
Christine Groves: Interesting museum with a good play area for kids
Chris K: What a fun little simple place. A wonderful reminder to all that history counts in our lives. Thank you!
Eric Millet: This is a great place where children have plenty of hands on learning opportunities. You can’t beat the price either.
Nick Townley: Great for visiting with kids, distractions for them on all floors and helpful team there. Great value for money and easy street parking.
Tina Filardo: That was an amazing museum! My toddler children loved it and I learned a lot too. There was a streetcar ride to the museum down the street that was free. It was delightful. The volunteers/workers were informative and very welcoming. The second floor of the museum was dedicated to kids and it delivered. Street parking was easy to find Saturday morning. It was 2 hour parking which wasn’t an issue. This is definitely worth visiting. Big value in $3 for adults.
Doug Taylor: Great place to visit and see the history of LowellVisited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No Price for adult entry Free …More

oo-: A small but very fun museum for children who like trains and adults who is interested in streetcar history.
Victoria Trost: This was a super fun place! Great information, lovely volunteers, and very entertaining. Unfortunately the day we went the trolly wasnt running becuase of the heat, but we will definitely come back sometime! Super neat place to visit and definitely recommend!Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No Price for adult entry $1–5 …More
Walter Oviedo: the areas that are around the emblematic places of the city, are in complete disarray. the canals that run through the center of the city. it has too much waste. lowell business area. it lets us see the deterioration of the buildings, dirty and faded showcases. abandoned and dirty business premises. It is an unpleasant sight to the tourist... we must improve.
Clébio Saldanha: Very attentive staff! Very receptive!
Baddie Dae: We live 45 mins away but the trip was worth it. We took our 2 year old as he’s OBSESSED with anything transportation and he loved it. The gentleman working was beyond friendly. I love the old vibes it has. Def worth a visit!Visited on Weekend Wait time 30–60 min Price for adult entry $1–5 …More

The Boston Transit Hub (Dorian): If you love learning about the history of streetcars, this is your place! You can see plenty of information and meet some nice employees! If you come June 19th or later, you can ride the trollies outside!Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes Price for adult entry $1–5 …More
Morgan Baker: I loved it! A great little museum. There was about 50 min of material to read and observe. A great place for kids and adults. Interactive exhibits and the staff were VERY knowledgeable. I enjoyed reading about the history of different types of Trolly and the evolution the what Lowell and the Boston area currently uses. Outside there is also a free exhibit of a Boston and Maine steam engine on permanent display. 24/7 - 365. Really cool! Definetly worth the price!
Jonathan Moorehead: Affordable, educational and fun
Dan Myers: Really cool to see the history of mass transit! Really helpful and informative staff.

Lowell National Historical Park: what do users think?
Ivania Rodrigues: Good
Barbara Smith: We drove 150 miles out of our way to visit this site. We checked the website and it gave us the hours. We arrived to find a note on the door saying it would be closed until April 23.Great job on updating the info guys. Really lame that no one thought to do that.
Donna Hill: Its one of Lowell's Historical Buildings located in downtown Lowell. This building was converted into nice units.
Vassilios Giavis: Beautif buildings and interesting history
Alex McDonnell: For the history buff...
Geoffrey Feldman: Not how most conceive of a national park but the history is broad and deep. Restaurants and attractions around are like a world cultural tour.
Stephen Lamarre: This is such a great place to go to learn the history of how things were manufactured in the early days and a lot of the events are free to attend.
Jarrod Pappalardo: Clean
VintageClassic Gamer: My only issue was finding parking.

David Kalian: Going to the state park headquarters was a mistake. Look for the mill building. It's a single building walkthrough during the winter time which is when we went. But it was an awesome exhibit. During the summer time they open other buildings and there are chores. We look forward to goingVisited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sure Price for adult entry $1–5 …More
