Also, items are always fresh and have a long shelf-life. Gustavo Schlemper: This place is heaven on earth. Too many options of sweets and treats that you end up by taking a piece of everything. The chocolate truffles were amazing (you have to try the blueberry port wine ones). They also have chocolate glazed crunchy bacon (I want to try next time) and ice cream by the scoop or ice cream cookies in the summer.

Frank: I'm giving this a two-star review because I drove from Mass to New Hampshire to get there before they closed. Unfortunately this company had incorrect hours on Google and indicated they were open till 6 p.m. on Fridays . When I arrived, there store signs said they closed at 5pm. Business 101 tells you to understand what your store hours are and advertise the correct hours as appropriate. I was literally on my way to spend $500 on candy and got there at 5:30 when I thought they were closing at 6 per their Google listing.Update: The store owner responded apologized and offered a 15% discount. Changed my rating to four stars.

It’s like you get to step back in time or to another world when you step out of a busy parking lot and into this store. The people that work there are so nice. It’s just the most wonderful place to go. And after you eat their candy, you will never be able to eat a regular piece of candy again!

Kristie Mendum: The chocolate is delicious. Mrs Nelson's Candy House is often well staffed, so even when it's busy you are helped very quickly. The people who work there are sweeter than candy. They are truly delightful. I go because I think the chocolate is excellent and the exceptional service is the cherry on top. In addition to chocolate they also have many candy options like licorice, gummies and conversation hearts at Valentine's Day.

The price was extremely reasonable for what I purchased and my wife absolutely loves them! She has been eating one a day to make them last!
