Maria: All I can say is find another bank. This place has gone down hill FAST. Want some examples, okay sure…. 1. They allowed another member to withdraw over 10k from accounts of mine and all of the transactions took place at exactly 8:24 pm. Hmmm you’d that might be a red flag. 2. After I reposted the fraud they froze my accounts along with the very little money that was left for over 3 weeks. Around the 3 week mark I had to start making calls and getting to the bottom of all of it. DCU never once followed up or communicated anything with me. During this time my Apple Card payment was over due and as you know you can’t pay credit with credit so I needed access to my checking account to make good on my debts. In ordering to pay the Apple Card I had to add my new debit card to my Apple wallet, DCU couldn’t manage that. I still haven’t got my new debit card added and had to seek other methods to make the payment. During this time my father bought a truck private sale and the owners loan was with DCU. DCU cashed the check from my father and said they “mailed” the title. Five weeks went by and absolutely no sign of the title and my poor Dad had a truck he couldn’t drive which cost him a lot of money within his business. DCU would not do anything to help. Basically they got paid so they could of cared less. Today I called to get my mobile banking app verified and it was seriously the last straw. It’s 2021 ~ why is it so difficult to set up a mobile banking app? Here I am step by step instructing the RUDE customer service rep on how they have always gone about verifying me. “They send the two codes wait ten minutes, if I don’t get the code they send a secured message to my inbox” DCU rep “Ummm No that’s actually not correct” regardless of what is or isn’t correct- the fact is- THIS PROCESS IS ABSURD! I’m sick of jumping throwing YOUR hoops to TRY and access my money. I’m waking into Lowell branch tomorrow and closing any accounts that I can. Enterprise just gained to customer.
Consuelo Santos: On August 13 at 10am we went to DCU bridge st Lowell mass to speak to a customer service rep and Flavia Cady attended us with horrible service. We simply wanted to inquire about a check and Flavia yelled at us asking who will be paying the taxes and we said we would no problem but she continued and I asked why she had such attitude and I told her this bank is usually nice to us but she replied good for us and we asked to speak to manager and she said I am the manager and laughed and said if you want better service go take it somewhere else. I’m so upset I have referred 25 ppl there in the last 2 months and this is what I get? The person NMLS # is 507699

Christy Wess: On a customer/user-friendly stand point, not my cup of tea... Due to husband's health issues, we created a joint account for ease of use, he chose DCU because it's close to our house. The idea of a joint account was so I can always have access during hospitalizations and escalated issues/disputes.For the first year, even as a joint account holder, when I called for balances / questions he still had to verify his identity and give verbal permission for me to discuss the account. Yes, a year to get this resolved on what was supposed to be a JOINT account from the get go.The account security is strong which can be good, and is why they get 2 stars. But security so strong they will never change your pin. It's set by DCU and will only be changed if they can prove someone used it to access your account without permission. NO EXCEPTIONS. Not even for medically documented memory issues.Disputes, like most banks, take several weeks to sort out. In only 2 1/2 years, we've had to complete 3 disputes. All stemming from screwed up ATM transactions; ATM's either not dispensing money or giving the incorrect amount and not reflecting the correct balances. Which would make anyone hesitate to trust this bank with their big savings.Lastly, convenience. Our local bank ATMs are ALWAYS full with a line (there are 2 in the same spot). Other than this we have to drive to the next town or pay ATM fees. Yes, we have the "Free Checking" which touts refunds of ATM surcharges from other institutions up to $25/mo... In 2 1/2 years we have YET to be refunded for even one surcharge, with the response being, "we'll need to look into this further".I've had a bank account since I was 14 and NEVER had this much trouble accessing my own money, disputing balances and transactions.In over 10 years of having an account in another local bank, I have yet to complete a dispute on my personal bank account - just saying!Watch your money, fees and account like a hawk here!

The people who work their are very bipolar and change moods very quickly . If you ask for the reasons for anything they believe your being rude . The company is very prejudice if you are from a different country they will treat you unfairly . If state any opinion that is not fair they will quickly give a quick rude remark . Overall was a very bad experience and I do not recommend going or working there . The people who work there as well leave quickly most people do not last long.

Rachel E: Honestly I can't say enough good things about the people who work at Align Credit Union. Unfortunately, my furnace decided to stop working a few weeks ago in early December 2021. I heard from a friend Mass Saves offers an interest free heating loan. I immediately went to the Mass Saves website ( I had no heat at the time and I was starting to worry my pipes would freeze. ) On the Mass Saves website I found Align Credit Union as an approved loan supplier.I decided to email Align Credit Union to discuss my loan options. Denise Perrin contacted me right away and worked with me over the phone, which meant I didn’t need to take time off from work to go into one of their bank location. Denise helped me apply for an emergency heating loan and expedited the approval process. After my initial inquiry with Align Credit Union my heating loan was approved within 24 hours. A few days after that I couldn’t believe it, I had a check in my hand from the Align office location in Framingham. I've told so many people about the positive experience I had with the bank! I actually ran into a lot of trouble getting the paperwork I needed from the car dealer to finalize my loan. Sharon, the underwriter who was helping me, went above and beyond in the assistance she gave me. From phone calls, to emails, to staying late to finalize my loan on a Friday night so that I could pick up my check before they closed. Sharon was absolutely fantastic!! Not only did she make sure I was able to close on that car loan, but she also made it effortless to refinance my other car to save me quite a bit of money. I strongly recommend working with Align Credit for all of your needs!!

I had a job and was trying to get back on my feet. “It’s the managers discretion” they said. Anyway got passed that and it’s been nothing but issues with this bank. Nancy McCarthy: I have not been happy lately with the credit union and I have been a member for 20 something years, I have recommended many people there but things just aren’t as efficient & family friendly as they used to be. The final straw was I lost a credit card and they charged me $10 for a new one which I have never been charged for a lost or stolen credit card. Not only did they charge me but they never informed me so I had this $10 charge that I had no idea what it was for & it took 2 weeks & multiple calls before someone finally was able to give me an answer. I will however say that the people that work there in the public have been nothing but professional and kind.

Sam Good: I have been trying to get help from customer service for two days but no luck. Very disappointing.
Rene Hernandez: DO NOT GET A CREDIT CARD FROM JDCUDid like them at first but after all the years and headaches with this bank I will finally close my account. Final straw was getting a credit card through them, did a balance transfer and they did a cash advance instead. Called in about it and the person who i was speaking to told me its the same thing, NO IT ISNT. Its been about 3 weeks and my bank still hasn't received that money. They basically stole from me since now I owe $200 because they did a cash advance instead of a balance transfer. I don't even want to call in and deal with them over this.Update: cash advance was sent 2/05/2023 and it's 03/17/2023. Still no solution and I'm being told different things.DO NOT GET A CREDIT CARD FROM JDCU BECAUSE THEY MANAGE IT THROUGH A THIRD PARTY and the employees have no clue what they are doing

He knew me for the first transaction but not the second one? I messaged the credit union and they read it. No reply from them at all. Every time I have a check that requires a hold I tell them to place the hold on my savings. I get home and the hold is on my checking. My account is even flagged so they know to place the hold on the savings. Now I have to take time to call them and have them fix the hold. There is only one teller on covering the lobby and drive up. That is ridiculous.

He helped us throughout the entire process. We also decided to build a home addition shortly after and Gerard Stevens helped us secure the financing for the project and refinanced our mortgage for a fantastic rate, and we closed in no time.

Melanie Gordon: I met with Laura C to open an account. She was absolutely fantastic. I was apprehensive about using a new credit union but she made the experience so easy and explained every step of the way.

Neil Chol: I made an appointment to meet in person hopefully to open a savings account. I brought my passport, drivers license, and social security card! As well as current mailing, lease agreement, and car registration I just so happen to have with me. It didn’t occur to me until after my appointment that I realized the individual assisting me did everything he could to not have me open an account with here. Our meeting took longer than usual and he was demanding I provide him with very personal and sensitive information that wasn’t relevant to opening the account! After providing him with pdf’s emailed to him containing my personal bank statements (account numbers included) he told me my application would need to be reviewed further? I asked why, I’ve provided you with more than enough documents, his reply was “some people need more looking into.” I from what I’ve heard about this bank it’s a great place to start investing or a relationship with! My only issue and (warning to others) is be cautious of who they’ve hired.The gentleman’s name was Abel Martinez, and I’d ask that WCU train workers to remain professional when at work and leave any personal biases at home or in their private lives. I was denied not because of documentation, or ability to make a deposit… but “Discrimination that’s ugly, but true and also very sad.Discrimination: noun 1.

Shawn Richardson: They made an error, no biggy, they fixed it... then said I needed to come in for a new debit card, I said...ok a waste of my time but ok...went in and they denied me my debit card, said there was issues. I had a positive balance, and direct deposit... called the main branch...was told 7-10 business days will get a new card....3 weeks later no new card...now told that they see an address change... Im on SSI I dont move around, same place as when I opened the account, they are pathetic!!!
Lil: They exploit their members, employees and the community. Truly demonic institution. I hope you crumble.
