Michele Barber: We did some camps this summer and it was a GREAT experience! My child who plays guitar and loves 80s rock music was able to play music HE likes with students on other instruments. Learning to listen to and time his playing with other people is crucial to his development as a musician but his school bands don’t offer music he likes. He also tried out some different genres and found an appreciation for them, plus the confidence to try out for a jazz band. The staff is kind and welcoming, making it a safe space to be themselves. Definitely a 10/10!!!
Margaret Barsam: The instructors are experienced professional musicians who also have a love of teaching. They are so invested in the development of their students as is evident by their passion and enthusiasm. It’s clear that they love their jobs. It has become my son’s home away from home. He spends several hours per week there and would spend more if he could! It’s worth the 40 min drive each way. The school has top of line rehearsal rooms and equipment. The program is designed for beginners, intermediate or seasoned musicians. There is a challenge at every level and your child will acquire the skills to be able to take advantage of the many seasonal performance programs and even audition for their resident house band when they are ready. In summary, top notch instructors, environment and program! Can’t recommend it enough.
Erin Connolly: Wonderful staff and teachers all with a passion for music and helping students reach the next level. Kids learn not only how to become better musicians, but more importantly how to work together to put on a show. Very collaborative and supportive environment.

Anne DiGiovanni: What a fabulous community at the Wakefield SOR, my son calls it his second home. The faculty at Wakefield are professional, touring musicians, who are superb at growing confidence and competence. They offer excellent instruction, and have high standards but are really fun, compassionate individuals. Great role models.
Anna Kontos: The teachers at School of Rock Wakefield are in a class of their own. They all share the uncanny ability to teach music at a high level, to infuse joy into lessons, and to create life-long musicians. It is not easy to find one teacher like this, let alone a whole music school full of them! We feel very fortunate to have our children in a place that has their values pointed in the right direction.
jipaca: My son started here in 2015. His love and passion for music has grown so much!! The instructors and staff care deeply about their students and are extremely patient. If you have a chance, check out any Schools of Rock, you won't be disappointe.

John Willson: My teacher has vast musical experience and is an excellent teacher walked me through music theory, as well as the details of the guitar. As an adult student, I was nervous about picking up an instrument but I am now pretty confident I comfortably improvise with blues . Taking on a bit of songwriting which was unexpected, I did not think I come this far... Thanks for the great lesson and I look forward to many more.

Patricia Burba: My whole family has been taking guitar, voice, and piano lessons for the past five years, and we all look forward to our Wednesday night music night with Jeremy and Ferdinando and Aaron. The teachers are engaging and supportive, and the atmosphere is wonderful. Being able to share music with my family has been a terrific experience and I thank the teachers at North Andover Music Academy for making that possible.

Ferdinando Argenti: I am the main piano and voice teacher and I enjoy teaching there. The music instructors are all good musicians and all know how to teach well. The kids have been great, very well mannered , polite and devoted to the study of music . We have a very nice place with a very professional atmosphere, good equipment, and a new German upright piano in a beautiful piano suite.

Casey Antonelli: The instructors are fantastic and the location is convenient right in the center of town. Definitely worth checking out if you have not already. Bring the kids, friends, your husband - my whole family agrees this is the place to further your musical talents north of Boston.
Pete Massa: I want to say that as far as music instruction is concerned, the North Andover Music Academy does it right! My whole family has taken lessons from this organization and I have to say the quality of instruction and the approach to the instrument is head and shoulders above the rest. The atmosphere is clean, friendly and inviting, and the instructors are people that you would invite into your home. The focus is on creating a love for the music through the development of a mastery on the instrument. Students are challenged to develop through persistence and hard work, but at the same time the lessons are fun and engaging and students are excited to work hard and reach the next level. If you want your kids to learn music and reap the many benefits of learning to play a musical instrument, The North Andover Music Academy is the place to bring them.
