Westford Veterinary Emergency and Referral Center: what do users think?
Melissa Zirkle: I was referred by my vet because my Tucker swallowed a rock and needed surgery to remove the rock. If it was not for everyone there in that office I would not have Tucker with me now. You all were his i willsaving grace and I will forever be grateful for you saving my boy. He is my world! Thank you for everything! I hope you all know how much I appreciate all your hard work!
Eric Wiseman: No stars would be the correct rating! Our cat swallowed something that had to be surgically removed. This was not my first choice of veterinarian to go to only because I had another vet for emergency services, closer to home, that I preferred. They were turning people away because they were overwhelmed with emergencies so I went to Westford.Westford did the surgery then sent the cat home one day later. When they gave me meds for him it didn't include antibiotics. I questioned this and they told me we don't always need to use them. I again questioned this because this was a GI surgery and there is so much bacteria in the stomach. They still didn't provide antibiotics. Within 2 days we were back because he was becoming very infected. They injected him with antibiotics and sent us on our way. They should have admitted him and tried a little harder to reverse the problem they created. The next day he appeared to be close to death. All he would do is lay on the bathroom floor by himself. I brought him back to Westford and they didn't like that I was acusing them of causing the situation. Suddenly the wait time they told someone else of 2 hours turned into 8 hours for us. The vet tech who told us the new wait time but stressed that he should have treatment. Basically, he's going to die if someone doesn't do something but we're not going to do anything. I actually appreciated that she told us this so he didn't die in their waiting room.I immediately took him to the vet hospital I would have chosen initially. The admitted him right away, did surgery to remove all of the infection then treated him for 5 days with antibiotics and a feeding tube which brought him back to life. This of course cost us many thousands of dollars more to save his life. This was totally preventable. We're very grateful the other vet did their job, unlike the Westford vet who refused to.--Thank you,Eric
Mike Silva: Absolutely blown away. My fiancé took our dog in thinking she had a tumor. The vet put all our minds at ease and saved us thousands of dollars. Would leave ten stars if possible
Jason B: Brought my dog in around midnight for about 20-25 porcupine quills in his face. The team working was very professional and took great care of my dog. The technician explained everything to me fully and the front desk person kept me updated during the procedure. Very satisfied with the service from this visit and will return if any future accidents happen.
David B: Overall very happy that my cat is okay. On the pricey side, but given the circumstance fair. The bill came in on the lower end of the estimate which was good. The only thing I wasn’t happy about was he could have been cleaned up better before coming home. His fur is now at stuck and matted. But, I appreciate the professionalism and urgency that was provided.
Nicole Beauchesne: I brought my 2-year-old cat here who had been missing for 3 days and came home starved and continued to not eat and eventually started having blood-tinged emesis two days later. I was so worried and decided to bring him here for the first time. I am so glad I did! The team is incredibly organized and highly intelligent regarding overall animal care. I recommend them to every sick fur baby out there. El Salto and I are very happy with our visit❤️
nics c: I came here in a panic because my cat was quite literally screaming in pain. They took him back and quoted me $4k to perform a surgery to help with his kidney stones. I told them I couldn’t afford $4k and they told me they could just put him down instead.. when I asked why the total was so high they told me they were quoting me on the “gold package” or something like that. I asked them to do only what’s necessary and it came out to be $1k instead. They were UPCHARGING me and didn’t tell me that the cost of the procedure had the potential to be lower.. instead they offered to just put my cat down?? Luckily I asked. Thankful they saved my cats life but I don’t think I’d ever go back.
Justin Burnes: My cat passed away at home and I brought him here on a Sunday for cremation. The staff was incredible and made the process easy on a tough day.
Anita Chmilarski: I can’t say enough about this great group of people. They provided much needed guidance and support when we called about our dog struggling and then when she suddenly passed away before we were able to get her to the facility. Thank you for how skillfully you handled the situation and the comfort you provided.
Ashlie Jensen: I brought my cat Penny in for an emergency neurology consult yesterday. As every pet owner knows, when your beloved companion is in distress, you become very anxious and full of concern. Of all the doctors I have seen in my life, for both my pets and for myself, Dr. Wilmarth was the most thorough, patient, and kind doctor I have ever met. She immediately set me at ease and explained the situation with Penny's health, and prescribed a new medication for her to try. I am so grateful to have had such a thoughtful doctor examine Penny, and also give me knowledge going forward with how to best help her. In addition to my wonderful experience with Dr. Wilmarth, both the receptionist & the vet tech were equally friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a compassionate neurology consult for your pet, look no further! I will be recommending the Westford Veterinary Emergency and Referral Center to everyone I know. Thank you!
Kristina McLaughlin: Highly recommend!! From the ladies in the office to the nurse and the vet every single person was absolutely amazing with our dog, Yoda. They truly care about their patients!!
Marissa Rivera: My cat Topaz had a scary emergency right before Christmas and so many of the staff members at Westford Veterinary Emergency were so incredibly kind & compassionate throughout his treatment process. Angela at the front desk, nurse Miriam, doctor Duffany, and doctor Babyak were particular standouts - so helpful & patient with me and extremely caring & kind with Topaz. The facility is short-staffed and I saw many of these folks every time I went in (once at night, once midday, and once early morning), so I can imagine they must have been very tired.
Nicole Fillios: Unfortunately, I had to put one of my pets down because she had a large tumor that we couldnt get treated. The front desk woman was SO SWEET. on call and in person, she was so helpful and understanding with me. I forgot to get her name- but she told me her dogs name was phoebe just like my pet! she was awesome and perfect at her job.the vet who had taken in our pet was kendall, she made me the most beautiful art of my pets paws and tail so i have something to remember after she passed. she literally took extra time to make sure the imprints were perfect. kendall was so so awesome and trustworthy and i genuinely dont think anyone wouldve been better than her for the job. overall really great staff and not too expensive. thank you!
Matthew Evans: Great experience with the physical therapy department. My dog is back to her fully active self thanks to the great team here.
Jacqueline Bottone: I can't say enough great things about this place. Their kindness and compassion is awesome. Highly highly recommended
Amanda Philbrick: I cannot say enough good things about this facility. Everyone was amazing, and I felt so relieved knowing my boy was in good hands. We were transferred to this hospital to see neurology. When we arrived our boy was stable, so wait times were extended but not horrible. Our kitty sees the neurologist at the Westford Clinic which is equally as wonderful. Thank you for your wonderful care!
Jaq A: They don’t care about your pet, they just want your money
Alisha Wood: The staff were fast, compassionate and did all they could to help and guide us through a very rough morning. Thank you for all you did.
Michael Fields: They have an amazing staff that helps you and your pet 24/7.
Kelly Casey: I made the difficult decision to put down my dog, Millie, this past Tuesday. Everyone was excellent from the time that we arrived until the time I left. Dr. Bocher's words that Millie was doing better when I was around because she wanted to please me were very comforting. Millie was not feeling good otherwise and it made me realise that I was making the right decision. I would highly recommend this business.
Erica Wetterlow: I brought my dog there very early in the morning. Staff was so kind, and listened to my concerns. Great experience! I highly recommend Westford Veterinary Emergency.

Belvidere Veterinary Hospital: what do users think?
Tristan Bellman-Greenwood: Very responsive.
Jessica S.: Amazing staff and thoughtful doctors. Prices are reasonable and they don’t do unnecessary stuff to inflate the bill. Overall highly recommend!
Brian Stevens: Thankful to have them and their sister location Wingall animal hospital available to keep my cat (named bunny) happy and healthy
Courtney D: Everyone has been very nice but the wait times and prices are a bit much. Parking isn't great. Hours are not convenient for me - 8-6 most days and no weekend hours. Also really hard to get a hold of anyone! Half the time I call during business hours and there's no answer. I've had to call multiple time during open hours to get in touch with anyone.I had to wait over a month for our first appointment, and when I arrived we waited 40 minutes to get into a room, then waited more for a tech to see us. The waiting room is clean but tiny, and my cat was stressed about the barking dogs also waiting nearby. Appointment room was clean and basic.Bought a medication I thought they said was prescription for over $50 and found out it's OTC and on chewy for $24 (they did let me return the unopened meds after contacting them). The care was fine but their limited hours and difficultly getting in touch with anyone makes this office not a good fit for me.
John Hibbard: Very nice staff. Clean and professional
James Napolitano: Loved it..took care of my pets and my Vette
Meghan J: I would 10/10 recommend this vet hospital to friends and family! The staff is so kind and they really take the time to solve any problems your pet may have. I appreciate all the help and care that was given to my little guy!
Rachel Riley-Gaspar: All of the staff is very helpful & caring. Overall experience was great
Adam: Went here for a yearly checkup for my cats after moving to the area. I was impressed by all the staff, everyone was super friendly and professional. Definitely one of the better vets I’ve visited in recent years.
Rain B: I would like to thank the staff at Belvidere Veterinary Hospital...my dog Duke had cut his paw one and half day ago and I was not able to find an ER that would see him because they all were filled with more critical cases...Belvidere team was helpful and made time to see my babi...I am forever so grateful...they were so nice and helpful...I am not sure if they could hear the desperation in my voice...but now my mind and heart can calm down knowing that my son was seen and helped! Thank you so much!❤🙏
John McDermott: I've been taking my pets to Belvidere since I was very young. While they've changed owners over time, the service and caring staff always seem to persist here.
Jay Hadley: Caring staff, great with our pup
John M: Belvedere Veterinary Hospital is the best in the business!! Bandit my new puppy sees Dr. Harvey and I can’t recommend her enough. She genuinely cares about the animals- which believe it or not seems to be rare in this business. I always leave here feeling like my pup is getting top notch quality care, it’s refreshing. The Vet Techs are also extremely kind and caring. The girls that man the front desk are always warm to me and my family. They are also moderately priced compared to a lot of the competition in the area…. With that said there is not much completion to be had with service like this. Thank you to all for being soooo sooo good to my family and I. I can not recommend this place enough!
Sue Couture: Belvidere Veterinary Hospital on Mansur Street in Lowell has been my Vet for 5 years. My pets love the staff and various veterinarians. On this visit, my pet had a urinary tract infection. Lisa acknowledged us right away the moment we entered the office. Joanne triaged my pet and was able to get a urine sample. Dr Thomas was pleasant and got right on the same level as my pet. She has a great way with animals. She prescribed an antibiotic. Then, the next day before11 am, Dr. Thomas called me to check on my fur baby. She verified that my pet did have a urine infection.I am very happy with my pets care.Thank you to the staff at Belvidere!Sue C.
Marcos Diaz: Everyone is so friendly and nice love going to this place
Blake Acton: This place is the best veterinarian I've ever had. The staff are friendly and welcoming and Dr. Thomas is a true professional. She is respectful, knowledgeable, listens to her patients, and is a great communicator. Overall I am very impressed with this practice.
Beverly Jump: My dog was very uncomfortable and they got me in without a problem and were so gentle with her she is 13
Kimberly a Konieczny: You all are so caring and sympathetic merry Christmas
Chris Tompkins: Our kitties 1st Vet visit. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Happy to have chosen Belvidere, for our little babies health.
Stacy Decker: They are wonderful!

Linwood Animal Hospital: what do users think?
Valessa Marques: Very good service
Russell MacDonald: My family have been going to this Animal hospital for over 25 years as well they've been a blessing & to all of our other family members totally & thank God for this place; I'm ( HIGHLY ) Recommend them to all in the public...
Ann Matley: Always the best care for my pets.
Brent Lawrence: Please do not bring your sick or injured pet here. They will turn you into the MSPCA and you could be charged with animal abuse. It happened to me.
Alecia Thomas: Jamie and Ashley and there was one other girl I can’t remember her name were absolutely wonderful! We had a situation where we needed to get our 3 dogs rabies vaccines asap and they went above and beyond to squeeze us in ( thank goodness they had a cancellation) they got us in and out super fast and I felt like we had their full attention for the duration of our visit. Very nice staff! Quick and efficient 5 stars
Matthew Mavroides: Completely unprofessional, disorganized and consistently talking out of both sides of their mouthes. After 4 visits I cannot recommend at all for any animal that is stressed.
Brandon Ackley: Great people.
Eren Wooster: Absolutely amazing. Friendly staff and I trust my kitties with them 100%. In a vet you should have loyalty, honesty, trust, and sympathy. They have it all 100%I love how Emilia writes her pet reviews. It makes me smile knowing my pets are well loved with her. 100000% recommend.
alexis karle: I had such a great experience here at Linwood. I was looking for a vet close to home for my 2 pups. Everyone was so kind from the receptionist to the vet techs and the veterinarian herself was one of the kindest human beings I've had the pleasure of meeting. It's hard when you love your pets like children you want to make sure they get the best care and are treated with care and compassion. My fears were put to rest the second I saw the vet and the vet tech handle my pups. I don't have enough kind things to say about this establishment. As long as I'm in MA I will be coming to Linwood Animal Hospital with the loves of my life, Scooby and LaLa. Update: I went back a second time because LaLa was having issues with her eyes and it was bad. I was so anxious waiting because when you don't know what a problem could be it's imagined to be the worst thing possible until you get word from the vet. Let me tell you, my second visit was even better than my first. They're so well priced and I got everything I needed for Darla at a fraction of the price I'd pay anywhere else. Even the rabies shot was priced better than vetco where I used to go to get shots for both dogs. I'm sooooo thrilled to report that she is getting better every minute of every passing day and it's all thanks to the lovely vet we were so blessed to have met! THANK YOU SO SO VERY MUCH TO STAFF AND THE WONDERFUL VET'S!
Tristan Bellman-Greenwood: Very friendly staff.
Doc Kram: Best animal care around. We had 4 cats gets care there over a course of time.
Laura sawyer: Excellent vets wonderful staff and fairly priced..
Christine Paquette: Great vet :) plenty of parking.
A Hd: I called because my cat was feeling sick for the past few days and vomiting. Amanda is the person who answered the phone for the appointment line. I have been stressed and worried so much about my cat but she answered every single question and even gave me more details. She gave me many options, I could tell she cared because she even gave me info for other offices so I could call around. Most appointments are completely booked for weeks but she went above and beyond to speak to the doctor to get me in sooner. She really made me feel like she cared about my concerns and went above and beyond to get my cat seen asap. She was so sweet AMANDA thank you !!! 😇
Lira DeMoraes: Great service. Friendly staff. I've been taking my cat to Linwood Animal Hospital since he was adopted 10 years ago. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to take they fur babies.
Jo: Very friendly and helpful staff. I was greeted at the door, and the wait time was very short.
Yadi Wang: Great place! Great doctors! Great staffs!! Everything is just great! They always take great care of my cat since he was a kitten. Thank you so much for keeping my baby healthy!
Roy C White Jr: They always come through when it comes to mother in-laws dog. Place is always busy, masks are required and you must call once in the parking lot to announce your arrival. They are kind and personal to each animal, great atmosphere.
Dylan Shuster: Dr. V and all the staff were so furr-iendly and kind! She definitely knows what she is doing...very accommodating for pets. Very happy to call them my vet!
Carmen Colon: They were very polite and generous my cat willy got his lion cut there it was his first time every would recommend this place to other people
Cheryl HayesCajina: My two cats have been going there since they were kittens. I’ve always had great care with all of the doctors. The staff is amazing and very caring and professional. I would recommend Linwood Animal Hospital to anyone who lives in the area, or even far away. I live in Burlington and they are in Lowell and it is definitely worth going there because I get such great care for my Cats, who are 15 years old now!!!!! I had an emergency with one of my cats, and Jamie was so caring toward what I needed and recommended what I do. I feel that they really care about their profession. The whole staff there again, I said are very wonderful. I wouldn’t trust me animals with anyone else.!!!!!!

Rockingham Emergency Veterinary Hospital: what do users think?
mireya espinal: Hi im actually the owner of gravy (the tortoise) a lot of that information is actually incorrect. i’m aware that the call line is recorded and you have cameras in the building. I had showed up with my sister after calling and asked on how to care for my tortoise since he was having seizure like episodes, i was told blood work would be done so i agreed and hung up. My sister then called to see what time we have to go in within 5 minutes and said we are definitely going/ on the way. while on the road it was 7:31 and she was told he could no longer be seen with no info. we had showed up to the 24 hour hospital asking of a list of hospitals we could possibly be seen at. there had been no yelling and seeing how you are giving out wrong information shows that this place is untrustworthy to take care of pets. maybe it’s because we are of different color/ethnicity that you chose to say all these wrong things. I would say if you would like to take this to the police we should both come with all the evidence!! He passed away at 2 am btw. thank you for texting back, god bless you!
Noemi Espinal: I have not dealt with a place like this ever!! I was asked to come in around 7:30 for a tortoise 🐢 and they turned my him away while he’s having seizures because the doctor decided last minute she didn’t want to take him. Now I don’t know if my tortoise will make it to tomorrow. Instead of giving me options of what to do they completely disregard that I can’t make it anywhere else. Extremely sad, I am a sister who had to rush out of work to help my sisters animal with no information about these things.these front desk lady’s had the audacity to run to the back when I showed up since they spoke so rudely to me over the phone, not giving me info on how to at least care for him if I couldn’t go in
Margaret Fernandes: Wonderful experience in stressful situation. Everyone was kind and caring and we left feeling our Benjamin was in good hands. If you have an emergency with your pet, highly recommend Rockingham Emergency.
Samantha Benedetti: My dog was attacked by another dog about a month ago and I rushed her here. My dog, Piper's, eyelid was severely damaged and her Cephalic vein was clearly visible in her leg (thankfully undamaged). When I brought her in I thought for sure that she would lose her eye or at the very least have damage to her eye and a long recovery ahead. Luckily this wasn't the case and her eye itself wasn't damaged. But her lower eyelid had to be completely reconstructed which caused concern for her eye in the future. Dr. Morris and Nurse Becky were assigned to her and I am still in awe at the care they provided. Nurse Becky assured me that she would comfort my girl and keep her safe, which i fully believe she did. She did say it was her birthday which goes to show how much she cares about her job to take on an emergency case last minute when she could've been home celebrating like she deserved. While Dr. Morris claimed to not be a plastic surgeon her skill meant that Piper's eye went completely undamaged and will not have future complications other than a small scar (which I could care less about after everything). I was a wreck when I brought her in and one of the women at the desk walked me to the bathroom to get cleaned up and let me stay in a private room until my partner came. I was able to take Piper home that night and was given clear instructions and was shown everything they did. The office called me regularly the next few weeks to ask for checkups (not charged for). I called frequently with questions that they were more than happy to answer. They were transparent about the money aspect and did issue partial refunds for funds not used. I saw an opthomologist for her eye that they referred and he was also fantastic, praising Dr. Morris for the quality of the stitches given the trauma and emergency. I hope I never have to go to an E-vet with my girl again but if I do this is the best place in both care and bedside manner. I can't thank them enough for the support, treatment and care they provided. We weren't just patients in an assembly line here. They truly cared about both my dog and myself. The pictures show Piper through her healing, you can hardly tell she went though what she did.
Lindsey Hammar: My bunny went into GI Stasis last week and I don’t know what I would do without this place. The exotic vet there is amazing and really helpful. The staff is extremely nice and unbelievably helpful. After paying for a visit, I had a hard time giving my bunny his medications a few days later. They allowed me to come in, free of charge, to administer him medication. I felt really stressed regarding the situation and they made me feel much better. I wish there was an exotic vet on staff 24/7 since that is the closest place to me. Pricing is definitely high since it is an emergency vet, so expect that.I highly recommend this facility, especially for exotics!
Leilani Nadeau: I just wanted to give a huge shout to the staff here at rockingham emergency. They are such amazing kind hearted souls who really put theirselves out there. We brought our 4 month old Dalmation in Sunday with cluster seizures where he had to stay 24 hours on watch and sadly again today due to more. They really wear their heart on their sleeve and put so much love and patience into these babies. I hope to never see you again BUT if I had to pick, it would be you guys ❤️Thank you for all that you have done for Lucky and carrying him around every minute of the day and night like the infant he is as he wrapped you around his little paw every step of the way, he was so very Lucky to have you all with him through these scary times and this magical angel to help him get to where he needs to be to live the life he deserves!I would 10/10 recommend them, it’s not every day you see people love their job and give it their all. Your fur babies are in the best hands here ❤️-Leilani, Chris, Sadie & Lucky 🍀
Nick Tourlitis: Meant to post this months ago, and thought about it randomly again today when taking my pup out in the morning.I was initially very pleased with how quickly they were able to get me in to look at my puppy’s tail. My significant other and I took a trip to Florida while my mother puppy sat for a week. On top of skin irritation, and anxiety, my pup bit through the tip of his tail.Being concerned on if it was dead tissue, or if antibiotics could save me a big bill of amputation, I went here for a visual inspection of the area, and to get a general lookover of my baby. They were quick and to the point, the tissue was in good condition, and his tail was high likelyhood of being saved with antibiotics! I was very happy till 2 days later, a friend saw it in person and asked when it was getting amputated. I replied with what the docs said which was “no amputation, tissue is good, antibiotics will do the trick” when in reality, it was and had been dead tissue for about a week prior. They basically robbed me of 500$, then a week later it was amputated in Milford nh vet… was very disappointed that those in this field care more about money then fixing the problem. On top of that, 3 days after visiting here the tip of his tail fell off. Joke of a place! Thanks guys. Save the snarky reply thanks
Alyssa V: I was really impressed with Rockingham Emergency. I brought my dad’s cat in on Friday 3/17. My dad is very limited with his mobility and can’t drive, so I had to bring his cat in on his behalf. The staff were excellent in keeping my dad involved via phone and allowing him to do payment over the phone. They took Tilly (the cat) right away and touched base with me shortly after her physical exam. Kent, the technician, was very empathetic and took the time to get medical information and explain things to me. Dr. Steigerwalt also came out right away to talk to me and she is so incredibly kind. She truly listened to everything and you can tell how much she cares for the animals she’s treating. Tilly ended up having something lodged in her esophagus that needed to be removed. They were able to have a specialist come in that night to do an endoscopy and remove the stuff that was stuck. I was there for about 4-5 hours but Kent kept me in the loop on what was going on often, keeping in mind that I needed to call my dad to give him updates and get consent on treatment. Dr. Steigerwalt and Kent were so kind when going over difficult information and making sure I understood everything that was happening. They let me visit with her before leaving her for the night too and seeing how Kent handled her with compassion and kindness left me reassured that she was in the best hands there. Tilly is home now and doing excellent. Thank you so much to Rockingham Emergency and their staff for helping get Tilly back to my dad safe and sound.
Kurt Graves: Refused to allow my wife to be with our precious cat, Shiva, when she was put down. “We have a critical patient back there” (?!?)Refused to make payment arrangements for cremation-we had to take our beloved Shiva home in a box.
David Atlas: I've unfortunately had to visit 5 times or so in the past couple of years but I'm thankful to have a veterinary ER with compassionate, skilled veterinarians and staff within reasonable driving distance.Yes, there can be waits and it can obviously be expensive but that comes with the territory. REVH is reasonably priced for an emergency vet and your animal will recieve excellent care. And as a general statement, treat the staff how you'd like to be treated. When they tell you it may be a 2-3 hour wait (or longer), they're just being honest with you. Nobody wants to make you or your pet wait, that's just the reality. The true emergency cases take precedence and when your pet is truly having an emergency, you would want their care to take priority over others who are stable, wouldn't you?
Faial Chick: Spent a bit of time at REVH with my friends' cat. Very attentive, very nice staff. The doctor explained things well to my distraught friend as to immediate diagnosis and things to look into ifhis condition didnt improve with medication. So glad they were there. Special thanks to Kent, who was very kind and treated Oreo the cat like a prince.
Nathan White: Our boy, Orville, wasn't feeling well, so we took him to Rockingham Emergency. We had been here before with other pets and always had loving care and this was no exception. This particular time, we met Dr. Franson, who was thorough and compassionate. His diagnosis was spot on. He was an excellent advocate for Orville and it saved his life.Dr Franson went on to show his professionalism by checking in every couple of days to see how we were doing and how Orville was progressing.
Amos Landon: They took very good care of my hedgehog. Unfortunately, their seating for those who have to wait is terrible.
Janice Caruso: No compassion at all. I took my kitty in for a burnt paw. They kept it him in his carrier for over 90 minutes (alone in the hallway )without any treatment. When I asked how much longer I was told “the Dr had other emergencies “. (We were the only ones in the waiting area) and “ I could wait or take him somewhere else.” I waited an additional 20 minutes and walked out. I’ve worked in the medical profession for over 20 years and wouldn’t treat a human (with a burn) like that, Never-mind go with out any treatment. My kitty was seen and treated by another ER vet within 20 minutes. Shame on this place
Wade Hansen: Very displeased about their services. They are more focused on the profit from you in desperate need than to help your little fur baby. Will not finance. Must be paid in full prior to services. Had to go back a second time in 24 hours, because on our first visit they denied anything inside of my dogs bowels that would be an obstruction. 2nd visit showed not 1 but 2 foreign bodies in my dogs bowels. I will not return for services, I would have gone to Nashua but they were at capacity.
Courtney D: Brought my cat here late one night with labored breathing. Everyone was very friendly, courteous, and the care prompt. I appreciate that they talk to you about options, then put together a quote for pricing and then go over it with you before moving forward with care.Everyone was lovely and patient as we were given and dealt with the worst news of a pet owner's life. My only complaint is that all the benches in the rooms and waiting room are hard wood which while good for keeping clean, was rough for multiple hours of waiting.
Courtney Paradise: We brought our dog here for an emergency visit. We were seen much quicker than I had expected. Dr. Maciejczyk was great with our nervous dog and gave us lots of great advice. Cost was very reasonable for an emergency vet. We would definitely bring our animals here again if need be.
Sarah Baumgartner: I just want to take a moment to thank the Doctors, Techs, and Staff at Rockingham Emergency Veterinary Hospital - They. Are. Incredible. My cat Boo had to visit them in the fall of 2022 for a different issues and they were so caring (for both her and I). We didn’t even have to think about where to take her on Sunday when she started to vomit profusely.I was updated with phone calls and I had zero questions through the whole process. They even shared some of Boo’s little personality moments behind the scenes, which brought me much needed laughter. Even though I missed Boo these last few days, I knew she was in the best hands in the state of New Hampshire. While I hope she never has to go back, they are absolutely my first call for any pet emergency. I would encourage anyone from the area to take their furry friend to REVH in a pinch. You will receive nothing but the best care.
don schwartz: Beautiful and comfy emergency vet that cares
tria: I have zero complaints about this amazing clinic considering it’s always our go to place with any emergency! Today we took our 13 year old pug toula with symptoms of a UTI but we were so worried it was cancer considering she’s been losing a little weight but the doctor assured us that can come with age! Toula means the absolute world to us and we want to make her last years as comfortable and happy as possible! We were greeted with vet tech Lauren H who was super awesome and had the patience of a saint, you can tell she loves what she does and is very good at it. We then got well acquainted with Doctor Eric Franson who is by far one of the most gifted veterinarians we have come across! The whole staff as well is super! Dr. Franson was very thorough, personable, patient and a compassionate human being when it came to taking care of our fur baby. He ran all the proper tests and procedures to give her the best treatment possible. We are so pleased that cancer didn’t show up in her tests. We went home with a good pain med and anti biotic and were not hesitant at all with payments because our dogs are like our kids we’d do anything to keep them from suffering! Thank you guys so so much for all that you do we greatly appreciate it! Keep up the amazing work!
Kimberly Ames: I'm incredibly happy this vet hospital is here. I was very concerned for my cat and wasn't keen on driving 1hr+ down into Boston for Angell. Anything that lessens my cat's carrier time is alright in my book.Dr Franson is an amazing vet who will take the time to listen to your concerns and will involve you in how he'll proceed with treatment. If I could have him as my regular vet, I would in a heartbeat.

Andover Animal Hospital: what do users think?
Thomas Goulet: I brought my dog (Stitch) in for an emergency visit this past Tuesday, the staff and doctor were amazing! They made Stitch and I very comfortable and settled.I would highly recommend Andover for all your Vet needs❤
Scott Keller: My pets have been seen by Andover Animal Hospital for close to 50 years, beginning with the beloved Dr Lindsay. He set the bar high for future generations and boy everyone at the hospital has met those high standards. Whether my appointments are with a tech or with a Doctor, my pets and I have been treated with the utmost professionalism and care that anyone could ask for. The staff also has always been professional and courteous, which sometimes I imagine is difficult with an array of animals at the front desk, all waiting to be seen.I would not even think about taking my pets to any other Veterinary Hospital.
Judy Yu: We absolutely love the Andover Animal Hospital. Everyone from the front desk team, vet techs, and vets (we have seen all of them in the practice over the last 3 years) we've interacted with is always friendly, kind, and professional. We really appreciate that they always follow through with what they say they'll do and call or email us after appointments with test results, bloodwork, post-op updates, follow up plans, etc. One of the primary reasons we left our last vet office was because of the difficulty getting in touch with the office and never hearing back from them ever.Even though they're always busy, we've never had a problem being able to schedule same day/urgent care visits anytime our dogs have needed it. Most recently a few days ago on Easter, one of our dogs had an emergency that required him to get x-rays. The team at the Andover Animal Hospital told us to bring him in and they would try to squeeze him in for x-ray and and consultation between appointments. Dr. Autieri called back with results and a plan within an hour - we are absolutely blown away by the level of service they offer (even on a major holiday!)We trust the team at the Andover Animal Hospital completely, 100/10 recommend!
Lynn L: I love both of the avian vets here. They are great for scheduling appointments and reviewing emergency issues if they do not have availability. Both doctors are extremely knowledgeable with extensive experience treating avian and handle the birds well with minimal stress to the animal.Reasonably priced for the initial visit as well as testing. The check in area does get pretty busy- I wish they would split it up based on animal type because people with dogs have jumped on my animals cage several times.Plenty of parking.Cell signal is extremely poor but this hasn’t been an issue since they allow desk checkin again.
Iris Schellenberg: Dr Michela and Cassie were amazing, we had a lovely visit. The visit was clear, informative, and my cat felt comfortable!
Gloria Siebert: It has many options for flavors and styles.
Patricia Goodwin: My family adopted a new lil guy the day before Thanksgiving and we named him Butternut. He was a rescue from the Mississippi flood zone and was sent to Nevins MSPCA Adoption Ctr in Methuen. From first laying eyes on him, I knew he was the one that was sent to us to join our family. He had his first wellness visit and got to meet and greet the team at Andover Animal Hospital about a week ago and he is a healthy little boy. We cant say enough enough about the wonderful staff at Andover. We have had all of our past fur babies (who have since crossed Rainbow Bridge after very long lives) cared for by the team at Andover and we are so grateful to bring our new lil guy into their care. The compassion and dedication this entire staff gives to its patients and us owners is always above and beyond. We feel confident that there is no other place we would want to have care for our babies! Thank you for always doing what you do best.. we look forward to a long life of care and love for our Butternut who is still just a kitty!
James Durkin: I am truly saddened to write this review and I truly wish that I didn't have to do it. However, I feel obligated to share my experience with Andover Animal Hospital in the hope it will spare pets and the families that love them from the suffering and sadness we endured. On 11/14/22, I called the hospital to request an appointment for our 16-year old Maltese. At the time, our other dog was being treated for kennel cough. When the Maltese started coughing, I wanted to jump on the treatment early.I spoke with Dr. Sarah Levine who told me there were no appointments available, but after noting his age and weight, said she would prescribe an anti-biotic so we could start treatment. We picked up the prescription that afternoon and began administering it. After a few days, he began vomiting and had severe diarrhea. We returned to Andover Animal Hospital on 11/18/22 to seek help for our dog as he was very ill, extremely listless and had stopped eating. That night, we learned from Dr. Manse that Dr. Levine had prescribed a massive overdose of antibiotics (two 100mg tablets of Doxycycline twice daily). We were told the amount she prescribed was way to high for a dog his weight, despite the fact that Dr. Levine noted his weight in our phone call. In my opinion, this inexcusable mistake was not a judgment call. It was simply a matter of prescribing the correct dosage of medication.Over the next week or so, the hospital attempted to fix Dr. Levine’s egregious error by administering fluids intravenously. While our dog seemed to rebound temporarily, he never fully recovered. After a few more days of watching him lie almost lifelessly in his bed and refusing to eat, we returned to the hospital and ultimately made the very difficult decision to end his suffering by having him euthanized.I cannot for say for certain if, or how much, the massive overdose of antibiotics contributed to the need to have our friend euthanized. And, given the fact that he was approaching his 17th Birthday, I do not know how much time we had left with him. Here is what I do know for certain: Two weeks after he was prescribed this massive overdose of antibiotics by Dr. Levine, our dog was gone and the suffering he endured in his final weeks was terrible and incredibly sad to witness.I also know that Dr. Levine had several opportunities to apologize to us for her mistake but she never did. In fact, when Dr. Manse was treating him on the evening November 18, he told us that Dr. Levine would be in the following morning to administer more IV fluids and she would come out to talk with us before administering the IV and would be apologizing for her mistake. We arrived early in the morning prepared to accept her apology. However, when we arrived, a technician came out for our dog. We insisted on seeing Dr. Levine. Dr. Levine did finally come out of her office but she simply took the dog from my arms, and said nothing other than to comment on how cute he was. On 11/28, as we were preparing to euthanize this loved member of our family, I mentioned to Hospital Administrator Diane Tower how disappointed I was that we never received an apology from Dr. Levine. Ms. Tower looked shocked and told my daughter and me that Dr. Levine had told her she did apologize to us, which of course was not true. Ms. Tower offered to bring Dr. Levine into the room but we declined the offer because in my opinion an apology is meaningless if you have to ask for it.I made my first visit to this hospital 40 years ago to be with my childhood dog as he was euthanized. Since then, my dogs have always been treated there and I’ve said goodbye to two other faithful friends there. Despite the kindness of people like Dr. Manse; Dr. Autieri, who helped us say goodbye to our friend; and Heather, a manager who exhibited extraordinary compassion in our dog’s final hours; I cannot return to Andover Animal Hospital just as I cannot in good conscience move on without informing and warning other loving pet owners of my family's heartbreaking experience.
rachelle green: My cats have been going to AAH for 6 years and we see Dr Faso. We love her! The staff is so friendly and helpful.
Richard E Mastrocola: Fantastic Team of Professionals caring for your Pet. Genuine care and dedication to owner and pets. I have always had great experiences with knowledgeable professionals. The facility is immaculate.
leelee: I'm not happy for the attention for my dog, :(
Kayla McKenna: I have been going here for 24 years. When my family got our first dog when I was 4, we brought her here. And all our dogs since. I am now 28 and I have 4 dogs all who love going here.We had tried a different place closer to home Woburn Animal Hospital but they did not know how to handle bully breeds, constantly muzzling them (no history of biting) and causing a lot of anxiety around the vet. I was confident one of my dogs had Lyme due to severe symptoms and general exposure. They told me it was unlikely and just his “terrible twos” I pushed for testing and when the lab work cameback his levels were “off the charts.” I brought up concerns over my elderly dogs eyesight and was told she did not have cataracts but then 3 months later they suddely diagnosed her with them. (There was obvious film the first appointment, she was avoiding stairs and tried to jump in the car when the door was closed.) This is when I knew I needed to go back to Andover Andover because they treat animals with love, care and expertise. They take concerns seriously, try to make themselves available for emergencies and can communicate photos ect. over email which I appreciate.Even for my sugar glider recently, I took her to two different “exotic specialists” (Veterinary Emergency Group, Sager animal hospital and Littleton Animal hospital) who said it was a cornea scratch and gave me eye drops. She did not get better and I was starting to lose hope. I saw Andover started taking exotics within the last few years and because of my trust for them with my dogs I gave them a call, they quickly diagnosed my glider with a tooth infection (common in gliders) and prescribed appropriate oral medicine and she was 70% better after 5 doses. I am so grateful to have a Vet’s office I can trust with all my pets.
Gina Chaves (G): Been going to Andover Animal since my 7 year old dog was a pup. Always have had a great experience.
Terry Thomas: terrible. no compassion for the animals. only care about money.
Mengli Yang: This is a public warning⚠️ If you consider bringing your pet in for emergency care, don't come! I brought my poor cat to this animal hospital for an emergency eyes problem. When I walked in I told the front desk I needed a emergency help because my cat suddenly could not open his eyes and there are a lot of discharges in his eyes. The front desk looked with a cold face expression and said they can't do it today because there is no doctor on duty right now. They only accepted appointment visits. I was unbelievably shocked like really!? You claim you are a animal hospital and providing emergency care but you don't have doctors on duty now? Then why would you tell people you do help with emergency issues? If you are just a regular veterinary clinic which requires appointment put that information on your door and website! Don't waste people's time alright? So for any emergency care I highly recommend you to go VEG in Boston. They have enough vets for emergency care 24/7 and they charge you morally. That's all I am saying.
Ron Tuell: This is one of the best Vets that I have had pleasure of using, the staff that greets you at the front desk, to the techs/vets, and even the grooming service is awesome. We had an issue with one of our dogs and the staff was so great with dealing with the issue and even taking the time to follow up multiple times. I would highly recommend them to any pet owners.
Maureen Palardy: I took my new Kitten to Andover Animal Hospital. I was so excited to be back after losing my Little Feline Girl. They were so sweet and kind to me and my Jazmyn. The front staff remembered me and welcomed me back. Dr. Manse also greeted me fondly. He did a through exam and read her paperwork from the Shelter. He ordered her back for testing and an appointment was made. The whole experience was as usual great! I love going there. I feel like I am visiting family.
Cindy H: Andover Animal Hospital is wonderful! My german shepherd had been treated very badly at our previous vet so we went looking for a vet who was good with dogs who were terrified of vets. They were absolutely amazing with him. (He died at 14 years)They now have been seeing our new German shepherd puppy for almost two years and also are great with our cat. The respect they show for the animals and their people can't be beat. They make appointments quickly when necessary so you aren't left worrying about your sick fur baby. The staff in the office and the vet techs are easy to deal with and the office and examine rooms are all super clean.
lori janvrin: I couldn’t not be more impressed with the Dr Manse and the vet tech who was also in the room with us during our recent visit. I have a very anxious dog who doesn’t like anyone and they knew exactly how to handle him ( my first visit) they took the time to listen to my concerns all while giving him the utmost care. They definitely helped ease my anxiety as well.
Laura Delmarco: Deb Bostrom runs the grooming department at Andover Animal Hospital. She is "THE BEST!" We have 2 cockapoos and Deb does a beautiful job. I highly recommend her.
Taylor Cognato: Awesome practice! All staff members are always caring and courteous, particularly Sophie at the desk. Each technician has been great as well. Dr. Carnevale is an absolute joy to have as a veterinarian, she is very gentle with my puppy and treats him like her own, Comet even gets excited to see her coming in the room. Both Dr Carnevale and reception staff have been great about being available to answer any questions I have had as well, no matter how small. Could not more highly recommend this practice, and specifically Dr. Carnevale. Comet will be a life time patient!

Bulger Veterinary Hospital: what do users think?
Laura Bahamón: Some months ago my dog was seriously sick. They were very straightforward, honest with us about the situation, however, they took her and they literally saved her life. They answered my calls in the middle of the nights to check on her and were very attentive.
Jedi481BBX: I ended up up bulgar hospital because my vet saw something on my dogs abdominal X-ray. After two days and testing my dog did indeed need surgery. I wish I could say it was successful, it was not. We got a phone call early in the morning that no pet owner wants to receive. The over night staff was amazing. They were beyond compassionate, one of the techs that didn’t even know me hugged me to comfort me, the receptionist was waiting for us to get there and brought us right in. Surgery with all animals has risks, I still haven’t been able to comprehend what happened as I was so upset it went in one ear out the other. Most of the staff is truly amazing
Randy Colon: Saved my dogs life. I couldn't be more grateful. Spectacular
Lewis Dilks: I had to take my dog to the vet hospital, since my vet's office was closed. The people there were amazing and gave him the best care like they were his own vets. The staff was a great team and worked hard to help us. Amazing isn't high enough for the help my dog got!
wayne boudreau: They will rip you off please do your homework on this place
Deseree Doherty: The vets and support staff were wonderful both times we had pet emergencies. One with an exotic pet and once with our family dog. They were kind, understanding and knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of our questions. Our family is very grateful for you!
Carolina Garcia: Thank you for your services and kindness in the last moments of my cat Beky was very strong for my family but you were helpful as much as humanly possible I am very grateful. It is a good place that in the future I hope to visit when I have another pet thanks for your good treatment.
Kristen Doherty: Had to put my sweet baby mouse down last night and Dr. Kate Sawyer was more than amazing. Im so grateful to have had such an amazing doctor take care of him ❤️
Michael Damon: I so very happy with my dogs doctor's 🐕
Morgan S: Recently had a very good experience when I brought my dog here for an emergency. The staff was extremely helpful, kind and knowledgable.
Monique Boudreau: Makes you pay lots of money to tell you they don’t know what’s wrong with your animal.
Kate Flues: I would give more than five stars if possible. Absolutely the best veterinary care we've ever experienced. Dr. Phral and her team are amazing. We were thrilled to be able to establish general practice here as well. The entire staff is so caring and provides excellent customer service.
Carolyn Morgan: I brought my 1 yr old lab in at 3am (she got into chocolate). They were kind, efficient and I’d recommend them to anyone in an emergent situation.
Lauren Sprechman: I had a great experience at Bulger hospital this morning with my yellow lab. I'm very grateful for the kind person who spoke to me on the phone, the welcoming front desk staff, the warm technicians, and the knowledgable and caring Dr. McGrath. Thank you for taking such good care of my pup!
Fran Fitzgerald: WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER, ALSO "Jenn", "Morning Supervisor' was VERY RUDE n couldn't explain Bulgers different rules...I GUESS THEY DONT HAVE EMPLOYEE MEETINGS TO EXPLAIN THESE RULES TO THE EMPLOYEES.
Kristin Nickerson: Very caring staff. I spoke with Joe when scheduling appointment. Tonya was wonderful during a very difficult time.
Cassie Wills (Cass): Last summer I came in completely distraught after an accident with my cockatiel. Everyone I interacted with was super kind, helpful, reassuring, and comforting. They took care of my lil Pepper very quickly and she recovered okay under the instruction and advice I was given. Thank you for taking care of my baby and making me feel better in such a scary situation!
Robyn Seidl: My pup had an ear infection and they got us in same day. Everyone was so nice and the place is clean!
Jenna Cannava: I have two rabbits Sunday (9) and Lovey (4). Sunday has a long history of vet visits from another hospital but this time I was making a call for my Lovey who seemed to be battling an episode of gi stasis. Bulger is a 7 minute drive for me so I called as a new patient. The first person I spoke to was Madison and it felt like a virtual hug over the phone the whole conversation. She was calm, understanding, and didn't speed through the call just to get information. It felt like I was calling a family member with how sweet she was. Pet owners can be in a panic state in that moment and she had every way of making it feel safe by asking the right questions and reminding pet owner that we’re doing a good job which is the most kind thing I remember from our call. She explained how the ER system worked so there were no surprises going in. When I got the call from Chelsea to check in on Lovey she was informed and concerned and you could feel again how much their staff cares. When I brought Lovey in at 11pm, Anna checked me in and was very nice. Chelsea brought me into a room with Lovey said all her vitals looked good and it was probably just some gas she needed to pass. There was no surprises with the treatment, they walked me through every thing they were doing as well as everything they were not doing which meant also no surprises with the bill at check out. She talked to me like a friend and kept the atmosphere calm and relatable sharing her own pet experiences. I am truly blown away by the compassion of the staff here. It is so incredibly hard to do your job under pressure and to be overwhelmed with the demand/emergencies they are seeing but not once did I feel that with any interaction. It really impressed me because I know myself that it isn’t easy these days when we feel overworked or understaffed and to still keep up in a public service job. Thank you Bulger hospital, I will not take my animals anywhere else! 3
Alexander Kappel: I am overflowing with gratitude for the team at Bulger Veterinary Hospital, particularly Dr Lauren Gawel and her supportive team/colleagues (Lisa, Dr McGrath, etc..).When I brought my dog to the ICU under suspicion of kidney disease/failure, I was terribly upset and fearful that I wouldn't be bringing him home. Over the 3 night, 4 day duration of my dog's ICU stay, Dr Gawel and team provided what I believe to be a world-class experience. While Dr Gawel and team demonstrated deep-expertise in veterinary medicine, they really surprised me with their top-tier communication skills, obvious commitment to hard work, and deep/consistent displays of kindness for my dog and my family (they fulfilled our every need, hours of questioning, inpatient visits, etc.).The Bottom Line: Even though an ICU trip is expensive and scary, Dr Gawel and team softened the blow and delivered incredible value per dollar spent. I will trust this team with all my future emergency (and otherwise) veterinary needs. Thank you Team Bulger!
Tracy McLeod: When it was time to have our family cat put to sleep - the staff and Doctor were so compassionate and made the experience as pleasant as it could be considering the situation.

Merrimack Animal Hospital: what do users think?
tierah childs: They saved my cats lives.
Daniel Lussier: The whole team at this small facility is super friendly and always helpful.
Amanda Lawton: This is my first time owning a cat so first time ever going to a vet, I trusted the positive reviews and I'm so glad I did! It was a pricey visit but that was to be expected, but the staff there were so nice and loving toward my Bella and it made me feel comfortable. You can tell they truly care about your pets which is so important! Thank you Dr. Mian, from me and Bella!
Jessica: By far one of the most compassionate, understanding and kind vets I've ever encountered. Recently my senior cat had a catastrophic tooth failure and Dr. Mian and his team worked quickly to get the cat back to being comfortable. The tooth failure happened Tuesday night and by Thursday morning my sweet kitty was in surgery and on their way to recovery. Truly thankful to have found them!
Alexa Evensen: Hi, I would like to start this review with how kind the vet techs are and I feel as if they are the only ones that care about the animals in this place. My puppy has been coming here since I got him and I always felt that the vet tried to push products on him that he didn’t need. Such as multivitamins that the first ingredient is corn syrup and with all the dogs I’ve owned and in My experience puppies do not need multivitamins especially ones that aren’t even healthy for them . Today I took the hour drive to bring my dog here because of a skin rash he has and the whole time the vet kept calling my dog skinny and he tried to push so many products on him he never explained what the rash was and he started giving him a shot without asking my permission and then continued to tell me afterwards what the shot does. I felt as if I wasn’t informed about my dog‘s condition and at the end he tried to sell me 1 million different products in which he didn’t need. I voiced my concern about a chicken allergy to the vet and he continued to sell me dog food with chicken in it. When I declined buying the full bag I just wanted the sample bag he made it seem like I didn’t care about my dog which is definitely not the case. He threw a bunch of other things on my bill which I later told him I’m not buying, again without informing me he was adding them too my bill. I love my dog more than anything and after leaving this place he has made me feel like I neglect him just because I refuse to purchase his poor quality food and “salmon oil” which I have at home already. I will not be returning here because of his attitude and his actions with pushing products on customers and not hearing what they have to say.
Gregory Osborne: They were very kind and were able to get our very old cat back to normal health! We thank them for the work they did to diagnose her.
Gary King: Great staff..and the cat said he liked it too..😀
Shari Horan: Dr. Mian has owned and operated this practice for more than 30 years...I am proud to be part of his team.
Jihan Abou: Incredibly kind staff!
Peter Chagaruly: Two cats got their booster shots,
Idalis Delacruz: I am very sad about the service I was provided here. I have a pitty who has never shown any signs of aggression, he's just a very nervous boy and is hard to restrain. The doctor had me put a muzzle on him, making him even more anxious though I understood this is probably protocol. What I don't understand is yelling at my dog to stop moving as if he understood what was being asked of him. The doctor then proceeded to hit my dog on the back in an effort to get him to stop? I do not hit or yell at my dog so I cannot imagine just how upset/scared this must have made him. I'm sure the response to this will be a denial, but it is very clear that this doctor does not have a love for animals. The vet tech Mackenzie was sweet and did her best to try and calm my pup down, giving him treats and speaking to him nicely. I will not be returning with my pup, the only reason I stayed is due to him needing medication. He was traumatized and I cried all the way home. Please, if you have a anxious pup do not bring them here.Just as I assumed, taking no responsibility and denying it. As a "professional" you should know the signs of pet anxiety as well as know that yelling, raising your voice, and hitting is a sure fire way to get an aggressive response from an otherwise kind dog. You claimed to be "very gentle" while my dog was horrified due to yelling and hitting. I can only imagine how he acts when owners aren't around. Don't take your pets here.
Puppetville- Beth O'Brien: These guys came to my rescue when I couldn't get an appointment anywhere near me at Banfield (Petsmart), where, by the way I was paying monthly pet insurance.I was about to move, needed paperwork to have him safely driven out of state, updated shots etc. They even came to my home as I at this point was trying to minimize his stress. Driving in a car for a day with dogs (without mom),to a hotel for a few days before a new home after weeks of me boxing everything around him. He was a bit stressed.Because of the home visit it wasn't cheap, they had to close the office to do it after all. To me it was a one time expense and my little panther is worth it. 💕If you're looking for great care, these guys are so kind, come like sweet old time prepared vets, even bringing a pet scale.I had a table with good lighting and a blame over it for my cat to get purchase on. They were so great full. They got all my cats paperwork from Banefield for me knowing I was overwhelmed at the time, and came prepared with all paperwork I needed.I only regret not using them sooner
yugioh nerd: Amazing
Geoffrey Feldman: Dr. Mian has been taking care of our cats for years and has helped us through some emergencies. He is a kind thoughtful excellent veterinarian.
Jessica Faria: Amazing experience from beginning to end. The receptionist was extremely informative, and the dr was so helpful. My dog isn’t normally a patient of theirs, but we had a last minute emergency where his vet couldn’t squeeze him in, so we reached out to Merrimack Animal Hospital and they were extremely honest and helpful. Definitely recommend. We will absolutely be going back.
Dadiplier: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,Value
david vaillancourt: I've got an elderly Yorkie with a bundle of health problems. I took him to Merrimack Animal Hospital this morning for numerous procedures. He is in much better shape tonight after Dr Mian and Sherry's work on that wiggly woof. Have been using M.A.H. for decades.
zulmarie Ortiz: Excellent personal and very sympathyc
Sheila Fifer: My dog was in last minute need of vet. Since my primary vet was booked solid, I called around to many other places to absolutely no avail. I happened to have the luck of calling Merrimack Animal Hospital and they scheduled me an appointment almost immediately. They were so friendly, helpful and put at ease almost immediately. I’m so grateful for the Dr. and his assistant.
Michele Salvanchi: They were all very very nice. They took good care of my cat the only negative was the price. It was very expensive like a month's rent l

Animal Hospital of Nashua: what do users think?
Lee: I can’t say enough about AHN. They were so kind and caring to me and my family during a 2 month span where we had to put both of our beloved family dogs to sleep. We are especially grateful to Dr. John, who showed immense compassion and patience while he explained to us what was wrong with Cassidy and ensuring we had all of the information we needed to make the right decision. I am forever thankful that Cassidy was his patient that day.
Amanda C: I had been coming here for years every time there was an emergency with my dog. I am not sure what changed, but something did and these people could not sedate my dog to treat an injury. They didn't dose him right, then kept trying to dose him. My regular vet was able to do so without issues, and also said my dog could have potentially died due to the re-dosing. They initially charged me close to $600, but after being unsuccessful they removed some charges and I paid $180. I had called to be refunded further, as I was charged for a "comprehensive exam" which was not done (due to them being unable to sedate my dog) and I had called inquiring about the charge. I was told that the supervisor would have to approve it and they would call me back. It's been a week and I now need to follow up. I don't have time for this. My regular vet warned me not to go there anymore and that they have been hearing tons of complaints about this place recently.
H Barry: It was a pretty good hospital. Not sure what it's like now, since we moved to another state few years back. Some of our friends in the area are still happy to go there and some left for another practice. I guess YMMV.
El Zule: Spent 1.5 hours waiting then 30 minutes of "explaining" (arguing) the diagnosis of "cat asthma". She had congestive heart failure. I had to bring her home and she suffered until I could take her to a more dedicated and loving vet clinic, which didn't have an ER, the following day. My regular vet confirmed she had congestive heart failure after she was put down and the fluid that had been slowly suffocating her came out of her nose. It was horrifying to see but more horrifying to know this vet clinic took $200 from me before they let me take my cat home to rest. My cat suffered for 12 hours because of the complete disregard for animal well being versus the money they wanted from a diagnosis of cat asthma. I am appalled by the staffs behavior. Did you know the walls are so thin you can hear through them? I love being called a b**** and it's a pity I wasn't able to live up to it. Thank you to the Nashua Animal Hospital staff. Your absolutely outstanding I promise I will never forget you. Btw, her name was Zoey and I loved her with every ounce of my being. I think of her everyday and what you did to her.
Maryse Corbin: While on vacation, my dog decided to try to befriend a porcupine It was awful. We had to come here for immediate help. The staff was so amazing and took control of the situation. We were out in an hour. They were wonderful. My husband and I want to thank them. And our dog was back to being himself the next day. Many thanks!!!!!!!
Lori Paquette: We had a feral colony of cats, from Dec 2020 to March 2021 we lost 5 of our cats due to old age. They were so compassionate and caring. We got a condolence card signed by the staff which made us sad and happy to have that type of vet who cared about our animals. It is one of the best things we did bringing our babies to them.
Wee Scotties: The main reason I'm leaving this review is, they wanted to charge us around $1600 - $1800 for a cremation after having our dog euthanized here last week!!! I wish I had seen the reviews before taking her here, I might have gotten a second opinion. Fortunately, our friend was with us and told us she thought that was quite high for a cremation. She had her dog put down in Massachusetts a couple of years ago for a fraction of the cost! Some people choose the burial route, so they had boxes there which they charged us $30 for. We took her out to the car in a box, and googled pet Crematorium. There are a couple in the area. We went to one 20 minutes away and they took us right away, and only charged us around$200!!!! We were also able to get a paw print, along with a lock of hair and they put our dogs remains in a beautiful carved box. I hope this review saves someone money! Times are tough for a lot of people right now. I will say the attending Vet, and staff did seem compassionate.
Edward Sayer: We brought our yellow lab today with what seemed like lethargy, tremors, and a possible seizure. It seemed that perhaps she may have ingested something. Oddly (we thought), the vet said we had to call the ASPCA poison control line and report possible things she might have ingested, get a case number from the poison control center, and then the vet at the Animal Hospital of Nashua would call the poison control center to discuss treatment options. There may be a good reason for that way of doing things, but for us it felt like it could delay care to address a potential toxin. That said, all the staff were caring and attentive. Unfortunately, due to staffing issues, the hospital closed and we were left with the difficult decision of taking her home before the issue was resolved/clear or transferring to another hospital. Hopefully they will be able to find more staff soon for this important resource. Nothing worse than having an emergency with any loved one!
John Gallagher: A terrible place to bring your pet. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Absurdly expensive. Got a quote for 3-4 grand for cyst removal, and after 2 visits and 2 grand in expenses, still no surgery. Went to another vet in Hudson and they did all this work plus teeth cleaning and 4 tooth extractions for only 1,400. Avoid this place at all costs. And after paying 2 grand they refused to give me the lab tests on the cyst unless I drove there in person to get them. Like email doesn’t exist? Mind you my bill was paid in full.
Jude Lorman: ***********UPDATE********* We have REMOVED BOTH of our dogs from their care. Since start of pandemic, THEY. ARE. TERRIBLE!!!! Just in it for $$$ NOT caring for animals!!!the breakdown in communication here may force us to leave. We travel an hour for our pets care b/c they get the greatest care here!. But, twice now, just getting a medication refilled or follow up questions answered has become difficult w/out multiple calls or such, our guy went without his allergy medication for almost 2 weeks!. I had called in a very reasonable time frame, and I had to call again almost 2 weeks after initial call, we were out of state and family watched dogs and house..no one ever called back so when we returned it was the first thing I did. Our fur babies are suffering now due to whatever is causing their communication problem, I can’t let them continue to suffer. Thankfully their illness’s are very minor but still causes them a lot of pain and suffering w/out their medication. It will be with a very heavy heart that we would transfer their care and I very much hope it doesn’t come to that drastic a step.
Chelsea Costa: I had an absolutely amazing experience with Dr. John and also with the staff, BUT the problem, as I was explained, is that they were bought out by corporate and did away with their "Protected for Life" vaccination program that I purchased. I was suppose to get free vaccinations for life for my pet after purchasing the program 5 years ago and signing a contract. I have been going here for 5 years and am extremely disappointed. All the prices went up significantly from last year also and I feel horrible for the staff that they have to deal with frustrated customers/patients. Corporate basically seemed to have thrown them to the wolves and make them the barriers of bad news, not fair at all. I have a feeling I will be switching vets unfortunately due to the new management.
KayS: Always such a friendly staff here!Dr. John is fantastic. So knowledgeable and thorough. Really appreciate the care we get here for our fur baby.
jeannie Vautour: Very kind and caring.
Bernice Stanizzi: Recently we had to unfortunately put our dog down because he was in renal failure. The Animal Hospital ER were able to get us in as soon as they could. They were patient, understanding, and compassionate as they helped us and walked us through the process of euthanasia. They did not rush us as we wanted to spend the last few minutes cuddling our fur- baby. About a week later the admin staff and Vet all wrote a handwritten letter sending their condolences. I would recommend Animal Hospital of Nashua if you have to make the sad decision to euthanize your beloved family-pet and your personal vet or any at-home vets can't accommodate your request. The staff was great and I am so grateful for them.
Patricia Mckenzie: Why doesn't the office leave slots for " sick calls" daily? No instead I have a NON EMERGENCY issue but I'm told "well you can be seen in ER for only maybe 30 dollars more. WHAT? Is that how they're paying for the remodeling. Not good. Not professional.
Zachary Taha: Brought my dog to the ED due to his jaw getting stuck in a fence at daycare! They brought my dog into emergency surgery in a very timely manner and they are honest. I have used them in the past and they are always correct with diagnosis and issues.
Yency Alba: The experience at this location was traumatizing, my lil angel couldn't urinate and he was in so much pain so brought him here to get checked out i was told he was blocked, first doctor told me they where going to relieve the pressure and empty his bladder so they but before any thing could be done for him i had to pay an deposit of 3,000+ although I wasn't happy about the amount it was ultimately I would be saving my lil angel life it was all worth it...longe story short my lil angel didn't survive after I took him home the procedure wasn't properly preformed to standard in was told by another facility...at the end of the day Animal Hospital feeded of my fear and love I had for my lil angel scared me for 3000 and my lil angel still lost his life SO PLEASE RECONSIDER BRINGING YOUR LOVE ONES HERE
Angela Bourne: We had a problem with severe matting, they were able to get him in right a way and help with the problem. Thank you!
Liza Lomastro: Both my dogs see the doctors at Animal Hospital of Nashua. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the veterinarians genuinely care about the health and wellbeing of my pets. I have two senior dogs, one of which has special needs. Dr. John's compassion, dedication, and attention to detail has made a world of difference in his health and quality of life.
Chelsey Scibilia: I recently just adopted my first dog, Cosmo. Being a first time dog owner can be overwhelming! Dr. Nolin and her team of techs were absolutely wonderful. I had just about a million and one questions to ask. Dr. Nolin was very thorough in answering all of those questions and put my mind at ease. The technicians are wonderful and truly make your pet feel loved well cared for. Cosmo was neutered shortly after his first visit and I felt as though he was in very well care. He recovered well and still has always been excited to return to the hospital!
Ashley Mayo: I take my dog to the daycare located inside of the Animal Hospital of Nashua. It has been an amazing experience. Whenever I pick her up she always has the biggest smile on her face and is pooped by the end of the day. I love the pictures that are provided every day and they even do special pictures around the holidays. Hands down the best animal daycare I have been to. I highly recommend. The staff is absolutely amazing as well, they are all incredibly sweet.
