Halla Krawi: be very careful, this is not an official business let alone a consulate. Some criminal must be trying to scam people pretending to be a diplomat or government representative. Google should remove this listing. Phone number doesn't even work.
Sabrina Nazario: Place is closed and no one seems to be there, but their website is still showing as active and someone is collecting the packages and mail. DO NOT send any documents to this place.

Consulate of the Dominican Republic: what do users think?
Liz Mauricio: Esa oficina da pena y vergüenza.
Ósea que ya no pertenece al gobierno .Three things to fix there.1- update on google. I know very well that it says “15 Union Street Lawrence”. But when I click on the google map it is taking me to the old Dominican consulate address that was before.2- let people know through the wedside that they can come without appointments, that is, on a first-come, first-served basis. Because on the website it gives you the option to make appointments, which doesn't really take effect.3-that the only payment method is CASH.I went to the consulate to renew my passport and when I went to pay with my card they told me that it was only cash.- I went to the consulate in a confused way since on their website they give the option to make appointments (when in reality it is by order of arrival
They don't pick up the phone. They need to have a better customer service. Poor work!
Paddy Cruz: Excelente servicio!
Amarilis Franco: Excelente
Kelvis Pena: Tengo casi tres meses esperando mi pasaporte y nada mal servicio
Jesus A Poche L: Muy bien
Maria Esther Paulino: Muy mal service
Hash _: Muy mala experiencia!
Carlito Vallejo: 4 meses y aún no puedo obtener mi documento...

Consulate General of Japan in Boston: what do users think?
Jacky Liu: I don’t know why there are so many negative reviews here. I called the consulate before I submitted my visa application and today I walked in. Both experiences were great. The staff was very friendly and professional. I was disappointed that I could only get a single entry visa for the first time application, but she explained it was the policy. I will definitely go back and get a multi-entry visa in the future.
Guanglin Yu: They make up rules that contradict their own polices listed on website. It is a shame that Consulate General of a country does not acknowledge its policies. This place definitely needs a new leader giving so many negative comments here.
T K: Their attitude was not so bad, but the web page did not say they only accept CASH, and they charge fees each certificate. The web says only "$16 for certificate". It's confusing. It should say cleary those two things on their web page. I had to run to next building to get cash. That's very inconvenient and obsolete, should accept debit or credit card. I would like to state that the fee is expensive.
Mingyue Lao: I dont know about the bad reviews, but my experience to apply for long term visa was smooth and completed even DHL delayed my document.
Will Brown: I had an excellent experience at the consulate! All of the staff were exceptionally kind and pleasant to work with, and the process was streamlined and easy to follow. All of the security staff were especially outstanding!! Thank you!
Ashley Sullivan: I was nervous after seeing the reviews but we had a quick and polite visit to getl ong term visas. Including Christmas and new years, we were told our visas will be ready in 14 days
Prokillzz: No idea why there are negative reviews. My visa application was fast, respectful, and easy. Don't quite like that I have to go back next week to pick it up but that's just how it is.
Raven: The most unprofessional person I ever encountered (and reading through other negative comments, I know it could be the same person, sigh.) First of all, she didn’t even care to review my documents and after a peak, she gave most of them back to me - seem to me that these were not required. After on, she asked for some of the documents that contained in that set of docs she returned to me. ok - as long as you get what you need. She then asked for another document and while I retrived it from the folder I brought with me, she left the counter, leaving me standing there unaddressed. Shocked and disappointed. I thought she might come back to take the additional document but until another person behind the counter asked me whether this was a part of the supporting documents, I realized - oh, she (the one assisted with me initially) just headed back to initiate her review of my docs without saying a word until this person told me to take a seat and wait a little.Hope someone could teach her how to treat others - at least her parents didn’t do a good job. This is very unpleasant but if that's how she has been treated and reflected on her, such a pity then. My bad luck.
Josh Burke: Most of the staff are nice and helpful but from time to time you do encounter someone who is rude for no good reason 😬
K H: I'm almost certain that all of the negative reviews are because of a specific woman who works at the office. This person is without a doubt the most condescending, disgusting individual that I've ever had the displeasure of meeting. It unfortunately slipped my mind that the embassy does not take credit card, and when I told her that I wasn't carrying any cash she said, "あらら... I was appalled by her unbelievably unprofessional and rude remark (made worse by her tone of voice) and was furthermore stunned when she just walked away to the back without a goodbye, or something of the sort.As a Japanese person myself, I almost feel it's necessary to apologize on her behalf if you had a sour experience at the embassy due to her, as her behavior is not a reflection of our common character. I would like to mention though that plenty of the individuals behind the office are caring and kind, and so I'm at a bit of a crossroads as to how I feel about my overall experience.
Jacqueline Caron: Even though I was well prepared and polite the staff were unkind, disorganized and condescending. I went there to apply for a visa without my husband ( who is Japanese) because we are going to visit my in-laws. I found that they are very cold towards foreign people. They talked to me as if I was a dog. Why work in a consulate if you hate foreigners? It’s a shame to represent your country this way.Ultimately, It was humiliating and I felt angry. I wanted to be rude back, but instead I bit my tongue, said thank you and tried to demonstrate kindness. I told myself that maybe they are faced with a lot of rude foreign people. But, even so it is a privilege to work in a consulate and there is no justification for being rude - especially if your customer is being respectful.I really wanted to represent Americans well and strengthen our countries relationships by acting with empathy, especially because my family are Japanese. But, it’s difficult to do it when you are being treated poorly.Very disappointing.
Christopher Husson: Very friendly service.
Anil Bhandari: Great people, great service.
Steve Long: Disappointing to drive an hour and a half each way to pick up a passport (which they will not ship), prepared to pay in cash (because they don't accept check or credit card), only to find that they were closed - even though their website and the document they gave me indicated they were only closed New Year's Day & MLK Day, should have been open Jan 3rd.
Peter Berger: The staff was quick, efficient and very helpful.
Ken Schwarz: They couldn't have been nicer or more efficient in responding to my visa application. In preparing my documentation (which is extensive, but not the CG's fault), I had a question. So, I called the Boston office. They immediately picked up and helped me on the phone. I submitted my paperwork by email, but omitted one item that turned out to be required. The next day they sent me a note asking for that, which I supplied, and a week later I got a notice that my visa was ready. Come on in and get it. Which I did. I waited exactly 30 seconds for my turn at the window. I gave them my passport, and before I had time to read my email the visa was ready. They gave me additional information regarding quarantine rules, which answered all the questions I had about that. Very positive experience.
Jingyi Zhao: brought everything I was told to bring, and they ended up requesting extra documents/charging extra.
Tara Connolly: In 2019 I applied for a Japanese work visa and it was a fine experience. Not good not bad. But this time I'm applying for a Spanish student visa that requires international background checks. The program I applied for instructed me that I don't need an appointment and I didn't question it because I didn't need one before. But this time they needed one but let me in anyway. If they said, "sorry you need an appointment " and then turned me away I would have accepted that and then made appointment. At the counter the woman yelled at me. By Jaapanese standards it was pretty scalding. She said "you cannot just walk in without an appointment! Everyone here has an appointment!" I'm sorry that A. You didn't need one before B. I was instructed that I didn't need one and C. Why was I let in if you didn't want me to not have an appointment!I would've understood!!!!!!
john oleary: Yesterday I went to the consulate to do a yearly “proof of life” with my wife so that she could continue to recieve her Japan pension. I only speak English and my wife has mild dementia. The young lady who helped us was incredible. She was extremely patient and made an extra effort to help us complete the required paperwork. She did so much more than anyone could reasonably expect. A great experience
Generally speaking, employees at Japanese Embassy & Consulate are known for being rude, even among Japanese citizens. When I visited this place to renew my passport, however, I did not find the tiniest rudeness from any of the employees; they all were efficient and courteous (all were females). It could have been due to the fact that I used formal Japanese over the phone & email, and I went there when they weren't busy. This Consulate is located on the 22nd floor at the FRB building.
Irene Wang: Only one officer is polite. The rest are all rude and horrible at clearing things up. They don't deserve to work there.

Consulate General of Greece in Boston: what do users think?
George Bano: Great staff and service.
Theo Zambakis: The worst ...🤦👎👎👎
Doucas Nakos: Any dealings with the Greek consulate is an act of God! You have a better chance of getting hold of the President. I have been trying to get a certified letter for a Greek bank in Greece for TWO MONTHS!!! I was told today that the clerk is out till 9/7/2022. There might be someone that can help me after that date but sure!!!This is the same deal anytime you call there for something. You can never talk directly to anyone of authority as all the calls are screened. I have no clue how all the other reviews are 5 stars. Hope you never need anything from that place. They should be ashamed of the service they provide!!!!!!!!
Niko Sfikas: Very helpful staff. They are doing their best to serve your needs as fast as possible.
Sandy Spanos: A terrific team! Patricia is always helpful to me & my wife Sheryl and Mrs Koukoutsi has done an outstanding job in her leadership to make things run smoothly. They are great!
Irene Georgakoudi: I recently worked with Ms. Zioga at the consulate to get paperwork submitted regarding military service for my son, who just turned 18. I received very helpful information and guidance and I was impressed by the short time it took to get formal approval for postponing his service. Ms. Zioga and the staff I interacted with were all very courteous and professional. I am very thankful.
Paul Mouratidis: Very professional and efficient service. I visited twice for different documents and was always well served. A mask is always required.Be prepared with your documents and fees and everything else will be well taken care of by the consulate.
kosta kar: I have been trying to obtain my Greek citizenship for over 2 years. It seems they really don’t want to help me out. Every time I call there is no answer. I keep sending follow up emails with no reply. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of communication on the consulate's part. I'm at a loss as to what I need to do to facilitate the process
Eirini Voutsadaki: very very rude people.
Emmanouil Tzorakoleftherakis: Ms Krystallia Zioga was very helpful throughout the time I worked with her
Clark Scholl: I had a recent interaction with Mirella at the Greek Consulate in Boston that demands veneration. My wife and I scheduled our honeymoon in Greece for May 2021. Upon arriving at the airport in Boston, I was told that I would not be allowed to board the flight because of restrictions on my transit flight through Frankfurt, Germany. My wife quickly contacted the Greek Consulate in Boston and described our situation to Mirella. Within the hour, she provided us with the required documentation that would allow me to board the plane. Her quick work saved our honeymoon! Can't thank her enough for that.
Anastasia Stagianou: We are a family of five that needed urgent passport renewal for our three children. We sent the email on Sunday evening and by 2pm on Monday we had already been seen and filed all three applications. The service was impeccable, all the staff understanding and very caring. The communication -all email- was excellent and prompt. Special thanks to our wonderful Vice-Consul, Ms. Koukoutsi, who did our applications and our amazing Consul-General, Stratos Efthymiou, who has worked tirelessly over the past few years he has been in the post to transform the Consulate, make it more relevant, accessible and interesting by organizing a ton of high quality events and by being an open and accessible official himself. We are beyond grateful!
Michael Tourkistas: Prior to traveling to Greece, I had called the Greek Consulate with many questions regarding travel during the Pandemic. They were helpful, knowledgeable and guided me through all my questions. However, upon arrival at the airport, I faced a documentation issue because my connecting flight was through Frankfurt Germany. I was told that since I did not have proof of Greek citizenship because Germany was not open to Americans due to Covid and I was traveling with a US Passport, that I could not get on my flight. They closed the check in counter and asked me to return the following day with proper documents. In a panic, I called the Greek Consulate immediately, within minutes they were able to help me provide the airline with the documentation I needed so quickly I was able to board the flight. I was only traveling for a few days, and if I had missed my flight the trip would have been ruined. I was only able to enjoy this trip because of the Greek Consulate's quick response and assistance. Many thanks the staff and Consul General Stratos Efthymiou.
Manny Cavros: Very helpful and listen to your situation great job
Alex T: Second review for services in April 2021:The professionalism and dedication of the employees at the Greek Consulate in Boston continue to exceed our expectations. Twice in the past eight months we needed their services regarding travel to Greece. Ms. Patricia, a highly effective communicator, who appears to have an excellent memory and equally amazing willingness to assist people calling the Consulate, provided us with all up-to-date information for travel to Greece, guided us through the documentation process, provided the time frame for completion and return of the docs as well as recommending to follow up with embassies of transit countries for their travel requirements (I was unaware of this crucial step!).Within a few days, we received the hard and e-copy documents.I would like to thank all the employees at The Greek Consulate in Boston. They consistently deliver beyond expectations and successfully contribute to the needs of not only the Greek-American community but to all.——————————————————I called the consulate in an effort to get last minute travel updates for my trip to Greece, departing in 2 days-hoping to get to my 92 yo ill mom ASAP. So time is not on my side.I was amazed to find that a real person answered especially since I had already given up on my own consulate and was traveling minimally prepared, document-wise, particularly for my spouse. The person who answered the phone, discussed the travel requirements with me and to my astonishment, she went above and beyond the call of duty. During the discussion, she discovered that I was missing critical documents. She proceeded to advise me on exactly what she needed so that the Consulate could prepare the proper documents before for my trip. A short time ago, I received them.My family and I owe a big thank you to the Staff of the Greek Consulate in Boston with a special note of appreciation to the kindest person I have ever met/talked. Ms. Patricia. She did an excellent job. She carried out her job duties with outmost professionalism, immense knowledge, profound kindness. Her efforts to assist a family in need were admirable.
Douglas Tobiason: I have had many Consular interactions due to significant international travel over the years.I must acknowledge that my recent interaction with Patricia and the entire Consulate General of Greece - Boston was exemplary.I had specific questions and circumstances regarding an upcoming trip to Greece. During these times of the Covid-19 Pandemic the rules and regulations for international travel have become very fluid and confusing. The airlines and IATA often provide contradictory and often inaccurate information. My interaction with the Boston Consulate General gave me a sense that g much greater certainty and exceeded my expectations for professionalism and responsiveness. My sincere gratitude!Douglas T
Elepthrios Alexandrou: No parking...
Irene Gerakas: I had an appointment at the Greek Consulate in Boston this past November to apply for my Greek passport. Danai was exceptionally patient, informative, kind and professional. Everyone on the staff was helpful and I had a great experience from beginning to end. Stuff like this is always so tedious, time consuming and frankly annoying to deal with but they make it so easy! Thank you!!!
Chris “BostonGreekGeek” Vaxevanis: For most jobs you have to do, you have to have an appointment. The people working there are friendly, most of them. The hours of operation make me think very much of Greece. Several simple tasks take much more paperwork, work and time than anything you may be used to when dealing with American agencies. In comparison with doing anything in America, they would be 2 stars, in comparison with doing anything in Greece where I lived for 15 years, they are 3-4.5 stars.Their hours aren't very convenient and even the hours they are open are limited. I I haven't seen the ability to do anything online. Over all I would say a 4 star experience
Georgios Varsos: A very professional service, helpful when there is a need. Keep up the good work!

Consulate General of El Salvador: what do users think?
Freddy Morales: Horrible place really embarrassing to see how things are ran here with all the progress el pulgarcito making, they should fire who ever runs this establishment. First thing you notice as soon as you walk in is 2 windows but one worker on the dui side second you notice on passport side they have 3 or so employees just kinda hanging around, one lady literally on her phone while a crazy line on the other side. Seems like most of them have very bad attitudes and could care less about efficiency and providing a good service to our citizens. Today many of the people here had been waiting for a long time just to pick up their id. Sad that this is how our nation is being represented really looking foward to never having the need to visit this place again. Bukele where you at we need you in boston!!
Erika Moran: Nothing good to say, overall disappointed

Sonia Aleman: Muy bien atendida
Yamileth Hernandez: Muy amables y eficientes!!!
Gabriel Rodriguez: Bad service had to wait 45 minutes to pay because the lady at the cashier booth too busy talking to her co-workers or checking her phone
