Given it’s age and delicate condition, we couldn’t just take it to a dry cleaner as it would have fallen apart in the cleaning process. So, I did some research, checked around and discovered Glama Furs and Manny in Peabody, MA. Manny was honest about the condition of the fur and told us he would clean it and repair some of the dry areas where a few holes appeared. He did a phenomInal job and gave the jacket new life. He probably could have charged us a lot more but was truthful and honest about what he could and couldn’t do. The end result was much better than what I had expected and my wife was very pleased. It’s wonderful to fInd people in this world who are honest, professional and caring. I would highly recommend this family run business if you’re in the market for a restoration, a new coat/jacket or just require cold storage.

It was shocking how dirty and disorganized the whole store was—merchandise just thrown around and tossed everywhere. Do your regular customers literally just pick stuff up and throw it on the floor if they don’t like it?! Crazy! The store even smelled bad! Yikes! We will never step foot in Burlington again!

Saim Irshad: I am very disappointed With the staff and especially with the store manager Ellen at Haverhill Burlington coat factory. I was exiting the store after spending over $200 with my daughter (16 months old) with all the bags in the cart . The LP agent stopped me and asked me to take the bags and leave the cart inside . I looked at him and politely said there are four bags and I have to carry the baby . I won’t be able to do this alone I need the cart. I will bring the cart back. I asked him if he’s okay with escorting the bags to my car since remove the cart from the store was an issue. He then said please go ahead and take the cart. Once walking out Ellen the manager ran out the store and stopped me and said don’t take the cart. She was very rude and not understanding that I had a baby . She said that isn’t her problem. I was surprised with her customer service . I then push the cart and loaded my stuff in the car and return back the cart. I didn’t appreciate the way Ellen came on to me as a manager she should figure an alternative way of dealing with this issue. I am never again shopping there .
