Jordi Gil: Beware the EGO repair center:TL;DR Before you pick up an EGO repair unit:* ALWAYS check your original S/N against the unit you're picking up from repairs in case they switched it for a different one.* ALWAYS check that the unit is working well, not just what was fixed.------------------------In July 2022, I brought my EGO snow blower for repairs to this repair center. A few weeks later I was informed that it had been fixed and I could pick it up at this location. When I did, I noticed it looked like a new unit with no wear or tear, it appeared to be a new one (later on I noticed it had a different S/N). I tested the fixed part (the chute) and it worked fine. I pressed the left handle and the unit moved. In all senses, it appeared to work well, so I took it with me.When I used it this January 2023 for the first time, I discovered that the auger was not working. I called EGO for help and they told me to bring it for repairs at this Lowe's location. Weeks later I get an email that I could pick up the fixed unit. When I went to pick it up, they brought a dust covered unit that did not match the Serial Number of the unit I brought in for repairs. This time, I declined to pick up the unit as I was not informed the repair consisted in switching the unit and I was weary it could be another faulty unit as its dust covered appearance did not give me confidence.Following up with Lowe's customer service I was informed that they misplaced the labels and I was not supposed to pick up that dust covered unit. Days later, I got an email that because the unit had a broken handle, it was not covered by the warranty and if I wanted it fix, I had to pay ~$200. I complained that this unit NEVER worked in the first place and that it was their fault for giving me a broken unit as a fix for my original snow blower. It didn't change a thing. Lowe's representative insisted that they will not pay for the repairs and that they can't find my original snow blower anymore, supposedly fixed.Now I'm left with no other choice but to pay myself for a problem that is Lowe's fault.Moral of the story: Avoid this repair center for EGO units. But if you have to use their service, ALWAYS, ALWAYS make sure that you're getting the right unit by checking the Serial Number and that all functions WORK PROPERLY before accepting it.I hope this helps./Jordi

Corporate designed the store in a way to make you think the service is better by making the place bright and pretty. Everything's more expensive and you have workers who don't know anything, even the tenured folks.Secondly managers are all unionized against the workers and some of them are straight up p*dophiles. They act all cool and take smoke breaks together but they're all horrible people who will fire you if they're simply having a bad day. We're being abused, currently part time but working constantly and getting burnt out. We've lost so many good people lately. Remember that good service doesn't mean that the workers are happy. Go to home depot instead, they actually treat their workers like people and in return you'll get cheaper products and maybe less than perfect service. (If you're man enough to handle such a horror 😂)

Sylvia Shen: I bought 1 washer and 1 dryer from HD Reading store on 11.28. A sales associate at the store issued the order for me. Delivery is 12.1. Before delivery the associate who issued the order called me and apologized he made a mistake by ordering 2 washers for me, so he will order the dryer for me and delivery is 12.9. Ok I am fine with it because I understand Black Friday was super busy and people could make mistakes. A few days later the lady in charge of delivery/logistics called me to confirm the new order. I specifically told her 12.9 was ok but no later than that because I am flying away from Boston the next day. She said she would make a note. But today 12.8, at noon time HD texted me saying the dryer has been rescheduled to 12.12. So I called the store at Reading to get help. For 40 minutes they either kept me on hold, or transfer me to a voicemail box, or simply hang up my phone. I could not get anyone to help for 40 minutes. It seems the whole store has only one lady to take care of all the delivery problem. Can anyone imagine how they can keep a reasonable level of service to customers? After wasting 40 minutes ( excluding all the waiting from 12.1 when they should have delivered the right products) I call the 800 number and they rescheduled to 12.15. I am not sure if HD will continue making mistakes and fail to deliver their goods on time again.

Judith Jacobs: Update: photos included of new retaining wall and privacy fence.Our expectations were surpassed after working with Linden Masonry in Malden.Our new retaining wall was completed late May 2022.As a homeowner, looking for masonry material for my patio project, and retaining wall, Linden Masonry, was the perfect place to shop.The customer service experience was outstanding from the moment I arrived to order sand, gravel and stone dust for our paver project. Later, we returned to purchase retaining grade bricks.We were immediately greeted and assisted in all purchases. Their prices are very fair and supplies are all high quality.The delivery was scheduled at the time we were quoted for arrival time and service from everyone in this company was exceptional. I can’t say enough positives especially since this was a project I lacked experience in and was so easy. They take the time to answer questions and it doesn’t matter how much you buy, you are treated with respect and they are always pleasant.

He brought us to Linden-Malden Masonry & Landscape Supply to see the extraordinary and exceptional difference in the quality of their products.The crew at Linden-Supply was so helpful, full of energy and humor as they led us 'down the path' to the best quality, best prices and best service. The prices beat out anything the big box stores had, but better yet beat out any comparable product we could find. If you have your own contractor great, but just ask them to check this place out for their supplies. But please if you go, don't go at 7:45 AM because they will keep you in such a great mood with their "dirty" stone jokes and laughter that you might just be in a good mood all day! Thanks again GUYS! Keep our Teddy smiling because he starts our job March 16th, 6 weeks to the day that groundhog saw it's shadow, but that shadow didn't make it to the Boston area! He also did repairs to her chimney, foundation, and made the coolest and legal stone fire pit/chillin area, and repaired the stone wall last year, with supplies from...where else, the Brickyard in Malden ,but this time he met us there, ps they speak multiple languages, but cash always works best! now if I could only live as long as these walls:).

Arthur Speridakos: I’ve been trying to design a patio and in doing that I have been calling and visiting stone yards and nurseries alike. But they are not all alike. I’m not a contractor, just a homeowner trying to get educated in pavers and stone patios and hopefully save some money and I have to say Linden Malden was my favorite stop on the list. I was looking for a Belgard paver and after a google search sent me in their direction I got Steve on the other end of the phone and he treated me like I was their number one customer. Not to put the other places down, I just feel Linden Malden and especially Steve stood out more than others. They were very knowledgeable in regards to the product of pavers they carried and the differences between them and natural stone and they had just the right amount of selection that didn’t make it overwhelming. They didn’t carry the specific paver on site but offered to take my info and make a few calls and track it down. Steve called me back soon after and explained the time frame and ease to which he could get them to me. With out boring you w the rest, what I really want to point out is how well they treated me even knowing I was an annoying homeowner. A lot of places just don’t have the time to cater to the casual walk in homeowner w little or no knowledge about the subject. I get it I would be focusing on my daily contractors as well. But not at Linden Malden and thought it was worth the time to leave a review. Also cool tip, if you spend over a certain limit I believe there is no delivery charge just a fuel surcharge which was really well priced and it allowed me to take one less thing of my contractors checklist sending him to go get product. Other places charged A LOT more. I asked for a few samples to take home to the wife. Steve offered w out hesitation even not knowing if I would come back to purchase. They’ve also been there forever I remember my dad taking me there as a kid and he always had a way of finding great spots who knew. I will update the review after I’ve received the pavers but felt they deserved a little recognition for being super cool to a newbie unknown. I mean the paver I was looking for is almost literally the same price every stop I made so why not give it to the place that makes you smile. But hey they saved me money too. Worth a phone call

Ebano Woodworks Inc: Costumer service was terrible. Many workers on the floor but non with desire to help. 2 employees see me struggling to load plywood to a cart and they just keep on with their conversation. Same on the cashiers line. Just talking among them and not catering to the client.

John DeFranco: The employees work really hard even though they are doing the job of at least two people as HD is short handed like everyone else. Please be patient and respectful it is not the employees fault that HD pays low wages and provides poor benefits as this does not attract more workers. Hopefully initiatives to unionise HD will pay off in the near future so that workers can be treated and paid better. Customers will also benefit when this happens. HD is very anti union and is doing everything to stop the unionisation movement at HD and they have the money and political connections but eventually their poor treatment of employees will catch up to them and everyone will be better off except for the greedy shareholders and corporate lackeys.
