The restaurant is small, but, cozy. We've added the Olympia to our list of favorite restaurants in the greater Lowell area.

Dyment Edward: I grew up dating my wife and dining here close to 50 years. It is our default restaurant. That is not a derogatory term as we live in Lowell and we know what we like. We eat there probably 4-5 times per year. Wife orders baked lamb and I get the Lamb shoulder with garnish accompanied with a Gin Martini. As we are older we go early. Went there and as always it was excellent. Waitress (not server) was great . As my wife and I are older now there are wonderful leftovers for lunch.

Ray: We came here for lunch on the new year's Eve Saturday before 12 and we were the only customer as there were few takeouts. More people came around 1pm.We ordered roasted lamb leg, lamb shoulder, lamb chops, pork chops, and meat ball, chicken kabob for kids.The roasted lambs were tender, the leg was juicer than the shoulder. Lamb chops were nicely seasoned and grilled. Pork chops were thick and juicy, great for the price. Rice and potato were good, but a sprinkle of herb can enhance the flavor. My son loved the chicken kabobs as the meats were well seasoned and tender. My daughter didn't like the baked meatballs too much as it has too many spices, it was fine for adult taste.The egg custard like desert was not too sweet, perfect. The one with all the nuts is on the sweeter side, but tasty.

Maria McCluskey: Came from out of town and being Greek wanted to eat in a Greek restaurant. I was a little disappointed with the food. The half chicken was so dry I could not hardly eat it. Husband had a gyro, which was okay but not the best. The waitress was fine but did not even know how to pronounce gyro. Best part was the retsina. I have to assume that it is more americanized than Greek. Sad.

Timothy Jenkins: Sometimes, mistakes are made, and that's ok. It's ok if an employee has a bad day and maybe isn't as friendly as many expect in this culture. I didn't experience anything like that here, but what I did experience on my last visit was far worse.When I stopped in to pick up a delivery order, the place was completely packed with people standing in about every possible square foot of space. There was a woman spewing right-wing conspiracies into a microphone as some in the crowd expressed their agreement. Clearly, some rally of the uninformed was occurring.How could a restaurant provide a platform for such dangerous rhetoric? How could they expect the team members to work under such verbally abusive conditions? You might have the best food I've ever had, but you can be sure I'll never care to find out.
Stephen Leung: (TAKE OUT) Got the gyro sandwich with a side of rice. Disappointed that the gyro was essentially 2 slices of meat, tzatziki sauce, and a pita. Didn't think the flavor was anything special. The menu lists tomatoes, onions, and parsley that were basically non-existent. The rice came with marinara sauce on top (not indicated on menu). The rice tasted good, but I'm not a fan on the marinara sauce on top. Overall meal was mediocre.

Nick Tell: This is hands down the most underrated place I have witnessed in my life. The cheese-steaks are the closest you will get to Philadelphia. The pizza recipe they have really must be from Greece like they say because I am from Greece and see the resemblance, but this is actually even better than the pizza in Greece which feels crazy to say but it’s true. I actually love their pizza and calzones more than Italian. Their prices are ridiculously low for the highest quality food they serve. Quadrillion01: Mousaka with rice and salad was very good. With all the recent inflation, they have very reasonable prices. Server was very friendly and attentive. For a Saturday night, it was not very busy. Check it out if you're looking for someplace without a wait. I would have given five stars if the salad had cucumbers and olives on it. 🥗
