Didn’t have much luck until I came across TK Nails, they are so careful with the cuticles ( I am a bleeder) and take their time to ensure every nail is perfect. Will not be going anywhere else.

Amanda Shirley: I took my daughter and little sister here for their nails and the customer service was amazing. They stayed open later to finish my sister's after taking her in as a walk-in. The nails came out amazing as well and they made the girls feel so at home and offered a discount for first time customers along with free lotion 😁. They are highly recommended and we are all very happy with the results and the customer service. Never had such an amazing experience.

Gina Campanello: So unprofessional never opens on time. I’ve waited from 15-45 minutes for shop to open, told owner today I’ll never come back again. This has happened for over a year. Went to TK NAILS and saw what professionals are meant to be. They are now my go to place from now on.Service:Gel manicures
Sheridan Spinney: My nails came out absolutely beautiful!Unfortunately, I called to make an appointment for a pedicure & acrilyc fill. I made the appointment for 2:30 & did not leave until after 5:00. There were only 2 techs working on a Friday afternoon. It was $85 for a pedi & fill. (Kinda expensive for my liking). When it came time to pay, she asked if I'd be paying with cash or a card. Like most people these days, I only had a card. She then proceeded to tell me there was a fee associated with paying by card. She asked if I had "cashapp". I do have cashapp but, only had $69 available. She asked me to scan her code & pay the $69 directly to her cashapp account which I did. Now I'm left with a $16 balance. I still only have my cards so she takes my debit card & I ask if I'm going to be charged a "fee" and she told me that she'd give me a "discount." She charged my debit card $15. I'm not great @ math but, thats not really a discount. I also think it's unprofessional to ask a client to scan a code via cashapp for payment.

A Hd: Nancy is rude and lazy. I have been doing my own mails for years but once In a while I am in a rush or don't feel like doing my own. This place is close to my house so I decided to stop by for a mani pedi. Nancy refused to use a cuticle pusher and cuticle cutter and only used the E file or drill to get my cuticles off which is a lazy way to do a sloppy job. Part of the reason she is lazy and defensive is becasue she has severe arthritis and wears hand braces so she will not do manual hand work. My nails were already thinned out from the last time I got acrylics and were burning from the drill so i asked her to manually buff and cut my cuticles by hand instead of using the drill. Even after using the drill I could still peel back massive sized cuticle dead skin and showed her my hands. I asked very nicely and in a low voice, she jumps up and starts screaming refusing to use the cuticle cutter. I was in a rush and just settled on the drill and she just refused to finish the service. She doesn't sanitize or put her metal tools in the autoclave she used the same cuticle cutter on multiple people. She will make you wash your hands while reusing gloves for multiple customers. She uses a wet towel that smells moldy to catch nail dust. She walks around barefoot in her salon. She takes breaks using the phone or bathroom for 5 mins in the middle of services. I usually enjoy services by the other employee Navy who is very sweet and accommodating but is clearly intimidated by the owner who doesn't let her work to her full potential. I left and went to "Purple Nails" down the street who spent 20 minutes cleaning up left over messy cuticle left over from Nancy. Go to Purple Nails and ask for Tona.
r6rity: Unsanitary and rude customer service. Nancy the owner is lazy and rude. Today, she refused to do my manicure because i pointed out her sloppy work. I came in for a manicure, and she refused to use a cuticular pusher and cutter, and she only used a E file. I showed her that there was still significant cuticle skin left on the skin and she refused to clean it up due to her arthritic hands. Her tools are unsanitary, she uses a wet towel that smells like mold and used her cuticle cutter on herself while reusing it on other clients without cleaning it. She reuses her gloves without washing them, while also walking around the salon barefoot. Stay away from Nancy if you have to go to this salon. Navy, her employee is more professional. If i’m paying 72$ plus tip for a pedicure and manicure i should at least be able to get the services that i’m paying for. Stay away from this place and go to “Purple Nails” down the street, the nail lady there spent a significant amount of time CLEANING my nails full of excess cuticle skin after Nancy did a horrible job of “cleaning” my nails.

As she started she got up and walked away MANY times to either clean or something else or go help someone else who would ask for something. Only time for gel…..( there’s 2 other people here and they are already being worked on, no one is waiting ) it closes at 6 I’m here it’s 4:30! Excuse me if you told me that before you ripped off my acrylics and TORE UP MY REAL NAILS! I WOULD NOT HAVE EVER GOTTEN THE SERVICE !! I don’t want gel ! don’t even waste your money the woman is rude ! I also heard her tell another customer no as well. assab abad: I went in to get both a pedicure and a manicure both were bad. The quality of the nail isn't a big issue they came out decent but they both did a bad job. Felt rushed especially for manicure first coat was just moved all over my finger not the nail. The utensils weren't changed and the last client towel was left too felt so gross wanted it to just finish. For the pedicure I got the super luxury which was an hour service with hot rocks which were barley warm and 10 min massage which I never received. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who actually enjoying getting their nails done.

Maria Holman: I’ve been getting manicures my entire life, a typical regular manicure is $12-15. I walked in here expecting average prices, especially given the name of the business, “nails express”. I almost fainted when I was told the cost for my regular manicure was $20. I almost thought they thought I was getting gel, but nope! If you’re going to charge $20 for a regular manicure, it better be amazing. I had to come home and touch up my cuticles, as well as my clear coat. I was drying when my manicurist told me my nails were dry and I could leave. They weren’t dry, And I ruined a nail because I drive a stick, which is why I give them extra time.I’m not one to write reviews, but felt this needed to be said.

Erina Khin: Went to get a pedicure during COVID last week and I must say I was impressed on how clean and nice this place was. They did temperature checks and asked customers to wash hands before getting started. The biggest thing for me was how clean they were; I watched the lady clean the pedicure station after I was done and she cleaned it very well which is the biggest thing for me. Some nails salons have awful ventilation and the place looks so dirty but this place was very clean; I would have to say the cleanest place I’ve seen in Lowell and I’ve been to a lot of nail salons all over Lowell and haven’t found a place I’ve been satisfied with cleanliness until now.

I’m terrible at taking care of myself (probably not the only one) but I’m starting a new thing.. anyway, I called to see if they had time and they took me in. She took my hang nails out without me even having to ask and she did it well, like I’m POSITIVE there’s NOTHING left in there. This is the first time I’ve felt like I wasn’t being rushed out of a place. This is a really kind, gentle, and relaxing environment! It’s an older styled spot but I’m fine with that. I think I’ve found my home ❤️

carmen melendez: I came in for a full set and they were busy with other clients so I waited a good 30 min. After that they told me to have a seat to start on my full set. I guess they had an appointment with someone so once they got started on my nails they told me to sit down once again and wait, I waited about another 30 minutes. Then the lady Amy started doing my full set, she mentioned to me how she has another appointment that was coming in about 20 minutes so she started rushing on my nails and kept making rude comments on how it was hard to put the nails on because my natural finger nail underneath were too tiny. She kept making a comment about it whenever she got the chance too which I thought was very unprofessional. On top of that she didn’t even measure the nails to make sure both hands are the same length. I will never go back and I recommend all of you not to go there either.UPDATE: it’s been 3 days and one nail already came off, that should tell you something.

Daniella Ohiri: This place told me that I was not welcome in their establishment anymore, because I make them uncomfortable. I was not given any warning about any of my behaviors, neither was I pulled to the side, but I was told this in front of other staffs and clients. They said that I am too picky which I agree with, but i have never made any comments in a bad way. I have never raised my voice or spoken to any of the staff in a rude way, and I always tip. During my last visit I told the lady doing my nails to push the polish closer to the cuticle because that’s how I like it, but for me to be disrespected like that is uncalled for. I kept telling the lady that her choice of words were wrong, and that i wasn’t trying to argue, if she doesn’t want me in her place of work I will not come in. As a black woman the last thing I ever want to do hear is that I make someone uncomfortable. No matter what the issue was I should have been pulled aside or told off on private. She has such great customer service as well as creativity with designing my nails as well as helping me with choosing the color that I want or am looking for. She is very polite and professional in all aspects of the nail service I’ve received. From the moment I am on the phone with the employees there to book my appointment , to walking in and getting my nails done until I leave I feel that they are very professional and kind and I always leave very happy and satisfied with how my nails had turned out and not feel like Sina had rushed her work. She made sure my nails are exactly how I want it. Not to mention the prices are reasonable. I really would recommend this place to everyone I know that wants to get their nails done and make sure they book with Sina because her work ethic is amazing! Kayla Davis: Vicky is very sweet but I honestly do not like how my nails came out. Once I entered her salon and saw only short nails pictured on the wall I should’ve known to leave. Her long nails do not come out well. Her shaping was off, she left the nails super thick and didn’t shape them well into the coffin shape which is what I asked for. What bothered me the most is she left access nail polish around a couple nails. Ugh! Never again will I come back here, cheap prices or not. Super unhappy with my nails.
