Peter Campbell: We have been to this specific Longhorn's in Reading MA many times and we were always pleased. However, last night's visit really needs to be called out as a bad experience. Our dinner included severely overcooked Filet Mignon and Ribeye steaks, incorrect salad/side orders, watery cocktails, and a server who really didn't care. I'm not expecting Abe & Louie or Pelana, but when a customer complains about how a steak is prepared (at a steak house!) I expect more than a mumbled "sorry" response would be appropriate. We will put the Longhorn on hold for a while.On the plus side, our friends ordered a Bud Lite, burger, soup, and salad and were quite pleased.

They brought the first one out and it was seered, but purple on the inside, we sent it back, 2nd one is the same thing, I had to walk back into the kitchen bc my server was M.I.A. and the Mgr was also missing in action. I literally gave my plate to the chef, they put the steak in the microwave. I know bc I was a chef, then our server forgot us several times. We had to go to the bar for our drinks, after we saw them sit there long enough for ice to melt and water to separate on the top of the drink. Bar tender says, "these are yours here, idk where your server is."Horrible! Then the server started to be rude and unresponsive bc we went and got our drinks.. Pink hair doesn't make you cool server lady.... attention to your guest does.
