Kristi Ferguson: I had the pleasure of working with Hunter Bahr in sales to purchase a new XC40 in 2022. Hunter had a solid foundation on the vehicle attributes and details that helped make my purchase decision easier. He was friendly and engaging and I felt like he worked as my partner in the purchase rather than a salesman pushing a car.As I dealt with some uncontrollable challenges with the car due to computer updates Craig Rogers and his colleagues in service were available and worked closely with me to try and find solutions and fixes.Bang was patient and communicative as he assisted me in properly setting everything in the car up properly technology-wise.Jaffarian has stood behind the vehicle they sold me and gone the distance to ensure they did all they could to make sure I was happy with the car. If I were to purchase another Volvo in the future it would be at this dealership and with Hunter.

I have always been treated as a good friend who they actually care about being fair and respectful towards. Stephanie K: Really disappointed in the service here. I had an issue to get my hybrid to work in electric mode and they did not even charge my battery and attempt to replicate the issue. Instead they told me, "we checked the computer and it did not have any errors, so if the computer tells us there are no errors your car is fine." Meanwhile the issue still persists and they did not even try to replicate the issue (and could not have on a battery with zero charge). They also told me that if the computer does not identify the issue they will not fix anything since Volvo only reimburses them to fix things when the computer flags the issue. Finally, they are not good on communication or follow-up, I have been waiting for more info on when a part will arrive for my car for 2 months now. The manager told me back in December he would follow-up as soon as he had more info on the back-ordered part...2 months later, no communication, no part.

Jeff King: Our experience leading up to purchase was wonderful, but what followed that was a complete disaster. It took nearly 2 months to reconcile everything from the purchase, and during that time where they really fell short was on customer service. Lovering leadership did eventually catch wind of the problems, and did follow up quickly to ensure that everything was resolved, however it never should have reached this point.

Allison Heaphy: I recently went to purchase a used car that I saw online, I met with the sales representative who was very friendly and helpful. He even sent me a nice video of the car the following day to help secure my decision.The issue arose with the finance department. I have never been so embarrassed for both an individual and myself for the way this finance representative acted towards me. I went in wanting to purchase said vehicle and after asking her to run more than 2 scores to secure my interest rate, which she did not like me asking, and having a conversation about a program that was currently listed on their website (they said it wasn't active, but just posted on their website still and they didn't know it was still posted - which is fine, that is all she would of had to say). She stood up mid conversation, stormed into the lobby and screamed to all who were in the dealership that should could not and would not work with someone like me, I was in her office for no more than two minutes. There was no attitude in this conversation and no out of the ordinary discussion that should have moved her to act this way. I have purchased 3 vehicles this year and I have had no one ever come close to the way that she spoke to me. Extremely disrespectful and unprofessional, and embarrassing for both parties. I took my business elsewhere and refuse to do any business with them.

Mel: The worst. Went for 20k service (2021 lease) they told me I needed new front brakes, they said there was 10% left on them and quoted me close to $1200. This seemed odd to me so, I went to a mechanic @HoganTire - my brakes are totally fine. I’ve had bad experiences @ this Volvo dealership before - never again Danverse Volvo.

Dinesh Melwani: I was introduced to Sal Amico and Tommy Cocuzzo by a friend who is in the car industry and knew I was having issues with the service I was receiving at my local dealership. I took his word for it, and drove past that dealership on my way to Boston Volvo. Over the next few days, Tommy and Sal really went out of their way to ensure my experiece was top notch, by being professional, courteous and most importantly (for me) by providing updates daily (even if the update was "sorry, the insurnace company hasn't responded yet, I will be on them tomorrow morning first thing!"). Long story short, these guys really know how to make you feel special.I'm not one to regularly reviews, but given they went the extra mile I decided I could do the same.
JUAN FORERO: Coming back from a dealership that treated me like garbage and looked down on me, I came across this Volvo dealer looking to buy a Polestar 2, and immediately I felt welcome and, most importantly, I felt valued. Bill, my sales rep, was extremely nice through my test drive and showed me everything about the car. I was even offered food as it was during lunch hours; this act of kindness is something you don’t see in many dealers. They really went above and beyond to strike the deal I wanted. The finance team was really nice as well. When I called the dealership was closing, so I made an appointment with Jeff Lowre to see it, I was 99% sure I was buying it even before seeing it, when the ad disappeared!!!! I texted the Salesman Jeff on his day off he replied immediately & first thing the next morning told me THE WORST NEWS & BROKE MY HEART ……. IT WAS SOLDI was so tired of looking my son took me to see an average one at a different dealership,, I agreed to buy it & settle for less. After doing the paperwork this other dealership told me they didn’t have a title it would take weeks, they’d give me a loaner. 6 days with nothing but who was texting checking on me? Jeff was….. I even sent him the ad on what I was buying. He wished me luck & anything he could help with in the future.Yesterday….. a call is coming in w/ a number I didn’t know and was going to ignore…..I answered it to find out it was the Sales Manager at Boston Volvo in Allston, Dave DelTorto. He had my name on a list of 12 interested in that Rogue but I was first on it. First thing I asked trying to text Jeff ……. Was where’s Jeff???? That’s who was helping me……Mind you this place isn’t a ”used car place”, it’s a top of the line Volvo Dealership way out of my League but they treated me and my purchase of my Nissan Rogue just like I was buying the most expensive Volvo. I told Dave, don’t call anyone else I would be in it in the morning with a bank check because I had already had that money waiting from the previous week!This morning Jeff was back at work so happy for me, I went with my son &DIL. I had my plates and key Fob in my hands within a half an hour!!!!! Jeff then stopped me from pulling away to take the Time to show me so many extras this beautiful car had that I had no idea it did or how to work them so I was even happier!!!!So all these years putting people first I put myself first and I’m so happy I have a beautiful reliable car from Boston Volvo and I know if anyone I know is looking for a vehicle I’m going to be sending them to Boston Volvo!!!!!Thank you for everything Jeff and Dave and all the others. I’ll come visit soon!

The service appointment was extremely easy to schedule (online) and the service team, specifically David, was kind and helpful. While the appointment still took a few hours, I worked from the facility which was very simple/convenient and appreciated the amount of time David spent with me to explain specifics, prices and future options.
