Splash Pad: what do users think?
Beila and scotty: Love it and so much to do and stay cool.Restrooms: Needs to be cleaned a little better but also people should be cleaning up after themselves and teaching their kids to also so that we are all doing our part and it's not bad or doesn't get bad.
Ryan Page: Great place to go w the kids
Alyssa Griffin: Favorite one in the city
Araseli Lopez: Clean, spacious and diverse sprinklers
Pam Andrews: Great place for small kids
Elani Messina: Not sure when this place was last used but it's overgrown with weeds and just gross. Not sure how it got such high reviews?
dan giles: I've been to a lot of splash pads. This is one of the best there is.
Jonathan Marchesi: This splash pad is alot better than shedd park. We used to go there until we came here. We will not be using shedd park any more. This pad has a small pool like puddle in the middle. Great for lazy parents. There is only 1 gate to get in that is on the liquor store side and please keep it closed so no smaller kids run away. It has more options for splashing because it keeps running constantly unlike shedd park which is set on a 3 option cycle. NO LIFEGUARDS SO WATCH YOUR CHILDREN. Plenty of parking on and off street. There are bathrooms here. Dunkin donuts is directly across the street. Dont forget to bring a towel.
Orileni Almada: Muito bom
Melissa Smith: Kids love.it park then cool down on splash pad
Frank Bacci: Great place. Good staff nice and laid back
Lindsey Bailey: Such a great place! Its huge and there is so many water features to entertain tons of kids(and adults)! Clean, has restrooms with a changing area, lifeguards, several picnic tables, tons of free parking. Theres a convenience store and dunkin donuts right across the street. Free lunches for children at 1:30 from the City. Highly recommend!!!
Saroun: Great place to bring your kids. My toddler love this place
franklin diaz peguero: Muy bueno para los niños sin importar la edad no hay tanto riesgos como en una piscina por que estan a simple vista lo recomieno
Michelle Despres: Really fun, just closes early
Antonio Couzo: Great for the kids to splash around for a few on a hot day.
Nishit Patel: I really like that park
khanhkeo kingphilavanh: Get place to take the little one for some water fun time during the summer.
Paul Domelowicz: Plenty of parking and local amenities, Dunkin donuts directly across the street, several basketball courts, tennis courts, playgrounds and ballfields for kids of all ages.

Shedd Park: what do users think?
Malina Coleone: Haven't been to this park in years, due to it always being so crowded. We're close by so decided to stop in and it wasn't bad at all.
Vlad Goldenberg: Great park with an amazing playground, however it seems crazy that the restrooms are locked. What are we supposed to tell our kids... Just go in the bushes?Playground: Amazing and large playground for all ages!Restrooms: They were locked. Why would you do this???
Luis Morales: Nasty people go there
Amanda Patrick: Great
David Prestipino: Lots to like about Lowell. Lots to like about it's favorite park too!
Jose A. Duarte Barreiros: Very nice and tennis courts has lights
Susan Zangari: Great area , playground, separate basketball courts as well as SPlash pad in Summer time all fenced in safe and fun for children. Picnic tables .Walking track also.
Beila and scotty: My kids love it here and I always have a hard time getting them to leave. But always worth the trip.
Heidi M Cochran: Got my first walk in. It's been months! Felt great and looked like alot of people were enjoying this beautiful day!
Johnathan Sanchez: Loved coming here as a kid, it's even nicer as an adult.
Larry Ruffin: My kids love this park.
Sky Sokhiam: Loved it there my legs way done for if I ran another mile lol.Playground: Fun that's all.Restrooms: Nothing much to say, about restroomPicnic area: Big open space.
Tidus Hiam: This park is at a busy area, safe to be here and it have a big field and a track. Good spot to do some cardio exercises
Edmarlon Westphal: Bacana o lugar
Segundo Parra: Saludos.😊
Rebecca: Great Family Fun!!!
Shalisa Lamb: Great park, especially for kids. Has a nice playground as well as sprinkler. There are several baseball fields, tennis courts, and a basketball court here also. They have a covered pavilion which is great for catching shade and during warm weather has had craft fairs set up. Only down side is the bathroom is not clean, the doors to the stalls don't have locks and you have to hold the water button to wash your hands which kind of defeats the purpose and means everyone has germy hands even after washing. Would suggest waiting to use the bathroom anywhere else.Restrooms: Dirty. Do not use!!
Robert Whitehouse: Baseball field was in good condition
Anh Kim: verygood
Dee M: Great .the bathroom should have a changing spot to make it easier for families.Restrooms: Ok .needs improvement. Need a changing booth for families. Need vending machine.

Water Park of New England: what do users think?
Taleea Raymond: What’s the point of life guards when my kid was DROWNING and she stood there…. She was so worried about those playing basketball in the water.Lots of kids smashed their heads falling.Capacity is ALOT of people. My older kiddos enjoyed it, 7 and 5. (That’s why 2 stars)Food is highway robbery with prices.Life guarded at the kid area blew whistle for anything, like going down 2 at time for the siblings. If you have a 2 year old (like us) they don’t let you go down the slide with them, they blew the whistle at us, so you have to send them down alone which is kinda wild for a 2 year old for those slides. They do not sell swim diapers. You can bring your own vests.7 year old couldn’t go down kid slide with 2 year old sister cause he was to tall? This crazy lady kept touching my 8 month old baby then when we moved away from her, she grabbed my 2 year olds arm… I told her to not touch people’s kids.I wouldn’t go back.
Algerys Lopez: The waterpark is fun for the kids, the small children area is large enough to have babies and toddlers even big kids play safely together. The middle Parrot Perch area is fun going up and down, waiting your turn for the water slides and unexpectedly being dumped a huge bucket of water. There is an activity for all ages. Minus two stars because yesterday and today, both day we visited, the hot tub/jacuzzi was room temperature, the bar drinks are juice in an ice filled cup and a splash of alcohol not worth the amount of money charged and the food is less than ideal for the prices. I'm yet to find an attraction like this that have decent food though, it's like since you are obligated to buy from them they won't even try to give you good food for the expected expensive price they charge.
Rachel: Echoing the reviews of others who have posted recently (April 2023). Understaffed, chaotic, dirty, not safe, not organized, inefficient with management of amenities, i was scolded by a teen lifeguard who told me he’s not a babysitter when I suggested he take charge of the chaos around him. One little girl smashed her head, after 50 others had already fallen in the same spot, and the lifeguard blew his whistle for backup (which didn’t come) and he didn’t approach the kid. I took her and found her mom (who granted should have been watching her). Just insanity all around. Giving it 2 stars coz the kids still had fun and with the limited options around us we might go back. I’d need to smuggle in some booze next time to save myself.
Sharayu Bhat: Good water park...had funtime! But on site restaurant closes (7 pm ) before the park close time (8pm) so guys take a break eat your food and get back in the water else you would miss the food unless you carry snacks
Lindsay Gavin: Cool place!
Sasha Rugar: Horrible - dirty, murky water, unsafe conditions, filthy floors, terrible service and disgusting overpriced food. 33% of attractions were inoperable or just not opened without rhyme or reason. The lifeguards aren't even paying attention. Kids were running and falling all over the place cracking their heads and backs on the floors. The adults and teens were allowed to play 'chicken', sitting on top of eachothers shoulders, then toppling over onto little children. It was complete chaos and in disarray. The food service areas had trash on the floors and ice piling over on the soda machines. There was soda spilled all over the floor and counters, which created a sticky mess. Just to help you understand, this is a swimming space so people are barefoot or have their feet and toes exposed. Just plain nasty. The food is overpriced but is also undercooked, mushy and tasteless. It's as if they got convenience store frozen foods then half way microwaved them. I'm surprised no one got food poisoning. Fingers crossed. It's so hot that you feel as if you're about to pass out from the mix of chlorine and heat while your eyes are burning. They had no control over the crowds and if they even have safety rules or protocols there's no one is enforcing them. Not to mention the fact that overnight guests have no access towels. For over 3.5 hours they kept saying that they were in the dryer. My dryer at home apparently works better than commercial industrial dryers.Save yourself the headache and stay home. I promise you that you will be injured or disappointed if you go. Just don't.
Elizabeth Moreira: The bartender was super rude and dismissive. Not an attitude for a family friendly place
Stephanie Lokita: The worst spot to make a Birthday Reservation ! They overcharge for everything. Their customer service does not match their description on the website neither in person.I do not recommend anyone this place ! Completely disappointed . Never again .
Tyler Barnes: Fun for the family good time
Cheshy85: My 6 year old had so my fun at her friends birthday party although would like staff to please re-examine height restriction for kiddie section pool. My daughter is a very tall 6 year old (could easily pass for 8) and the height restriction is 48inch for the small blue and red slides. She was able to go in them for a while but then toward the end of the time there she was measured and she stands about 50 inches. Please consider changing the restriction at least to 52/54 inches. She had no problem on the slides and I’m glad that she was able to go on the slides for a bit as all of her friends could and she would have been the only one singled out. I understand safety but please consider that kids are taller these days and still young and would love to go down slides such as these. Please consider making some adjustments to make the height taller if possible which would really be something positive for kids who are taller but young enough to enjoy the smaller slides.
Derek Clemetson: If this place had been cleaner I would give it more stars but it was like no one cleans the place at all. Only employees were teenagers mostly goofing off. I could almost understand if it had been late in the day and the place was really busy but that was not the case. We were literally the first people in. There was empty water bottles and trash all around the pool areas, clumps of hair and who knows what else floating around, dirty swim diapers along the edges of the lazy River ect. Like they don’t open until 4pm I think that gives them enough time to clean the place appropriately. So gross.
alexandria marquis: Paid $40 per person (even parental chaperone). Came from 1 hour away. Could not purchase a 2nd chaperone ticket as they were at capacity. Website does not mention chaperone's must purchase tickets. Overly crowded. Waterslides and Lazy River were SHUT DOWN intermittently. You cannot charge people full price if you are not offering full amenities of water park. There were more Dining Staff than Lifeguards. This park is solely to make money. Babies in the water without swim diapers...Bizarre experience.
Morgan Wilhelm: The place was extremely overcrowded for them being understaffed. Lifeguards were alternating between the lazy river and the big slides, which meant long lines and people getting impatient. People were pushing, shoving, and cutting in front of us constantly. Had I known not everything was operating I would have continued searching for another waterpark and avoided the chaos. Someone threw up in the pool right next to us so we immediately got out. There were plastic bottles, pizza crust, bandaids, and a busted open diaper all over the slippery floors. The locker rooms/bathrooms were disgusting. No toilet paper in most stalls and wet toilet paper all over the floor. We spent over $150 for two people between admission, food, & locker rental and feels like we got ripped off. We won’t be coming back.
Ryan White: I visited New England Waterpark with my family and spent $800 on tickets, but we were disappointed that the lazy river was closed without prior notice. The lack of staff and inability to open all rides left us feeling let down and dissatisfied with our experience. We were not notified in advance of the closure, and as a result, we wasted our time and money. We expected better customer service and communication. I would not recommend this waterpark to anyone until they address these issues. As I say lack of staff I see staff members just walking around aimlessly within the water park not actually doing a job.
Kylie Dexter: We had a big group and it was a great time we spent the entire day there
Jessica Guiffra: We celebrated my son’s birthday party at the water park. We had a group of 40. Everything went so smoothly. The staff were very attentive from planning the party to the day of the party.I highly recommend
Marc Worsley: Great for kids of all ages! Friendly staff, very clean and well maintained. The kids had a great time!
Carissa Silva: Great place to bring the kids for a full day of fun. Bar for adults to drink 🍸the food is meh and over priced but it's to be expected lol there is a splash area for toddlers/babies. 4 large water slides for older kids and adults. About 4 slides for younger kids. The lazy river is pretty cool! The hot tub area is pretty big, which is great. Tables go fast, so arrive earlier to ensure you get one. They have towels rentals. The lockers are 10 bucks each time you use it, so I recommend bringing a bag with towels, snacks, and drinks to sit at your table while you play and clip your car key inside swimsuit if possible to avoid using one. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because the staff is cranky, and you'd expect them to at least try to be excited for the kids. The bar and restaurant close an hour before the park closes. The changing room is very small and has dips on the floor, so puddles form everywhere. Highly recommend water shoes!
Josè Rafael Quiñones Laya: Great place
Shawn McGrath: Great waterpark for a day trip or overnight at the connected hotel for a family with small children. Gigantic splash pad and slides in the middle along with even bigger tube slides for older kids and lazy river. Definitely wore the kids out and they even have adult beverages for purchase so the adults have fun as well.
Christina Riddle: Review from 2019: Not bad but a few power crazy life guards made the experience less fun. My daughter is small and wanted to take the slide together and they would not allow it. They yelled when we played with the water table. It was hard to understand why they even have a water table if you aren't allowed to play with it.Update 2022: We have returned to the park as part of a group. My daughter is older now and able to go on all the rides. Today the life guards are doing great at enforcing but not over enforcing the rules. We have another child that is the same age my daughter was last time. The changes they have made over the last few years have made it much better! All three children ages 11, 9, 4 are all having a blast!

Castaway Island: what do users think?
Mark Heiskell: Usually it is extremely packed and very overcrowded with thousands of people gathering everywhere at Castaway Island trying to cool off. The amusement park itself is not too bad and not as bad as Castaway. It can be crowded at times but that is only for certain attraction ride wait times while in line. It is best to arrive very early even before the park main entrance gates open just to get an excellent spot and it also helps avoid the crowds. I would just Usually wait inside of the parking lot in the car for a little while before allowed to head towards the front gates of the amusement park. I also even enjoy being the first along with a few other people to enter the park just as it is about to open at 10am while all of the attraction rides open at 10:30am. I also get to beat the large amount crowd of people that arrives at the park when they enter by 11am and even get a very early head start. I leave from my place anywhere from about 7:30am in the morning to no later then 8am in the morning because it usually takes about one hour or 1hour 30minutes just to get there. I arrive there at the parking lot of Canobie Lake Park anywhere around about from 9am to 9:30am; then I make my way to the front entrance gates to find a very great spot to settle down by sitting somewhere on a bench or a chair for a while before going on any of my most favorite ride attractions multiple times while at Canobie Lake Park.
Hannula24: We visited Castaway Island while we were having a day of fun at Canobie Lake Park. It is very visually appealing and also very crowded. There is a great little kiddie area for smaller kids, but it was absolutely packed. The water park had to close several times in our two hours there due to thunder, which is no fault of theirs. The lazy river was cool, but also completely packed. Overall it's a fun place to pop into while you're visiting Canabie Lake, but I wouldn't make an entire day of it. There are so many people there that it takes a lot of the fun away.
Rivina T: We came here for vacation (from va) Cool place for the kids but employees need to be a little friendly. Especially the ones working the grounds Its overpriced
Riley Clark: Alright. The water is extremely cold but my family had fun. Extremely crowded though, you couldn't get anywhere without bumping into people.
Milo Martinez: Muy hermosa 💖 todo
Fletcher Hillman: As an included part of your entrance fee for canobie lake castaway island is our family's favorite part of the park. The lazy river is great for a quick lap or two. The little squirts area is perfect for toddlers of all sizes. There are also multiple water slides for older kids and adults.Cabanas can be rented in advance for around 300 dollars but there are plenty of chairs and lounges to use for taking in some sun or just taking a break. All areas have lifeguards and they are actually paying attention to what's is going on around them. Safety is taken very seriously.
Brittany Medeiros: The water park has really improved, but with the bigger expansion, came even more guests. It's normally overcrowded, even on weekdays. I keep a close eye on my son as a lot of kids there are teens or older children from summer camps, and they are often brutes. Majority may not intentionally be that way, as kids are just kids, but it's definitely too crowded
Tim Hanley: Hadn't been into this part of the park until recently. It was great! The lazy river was awesome, not crazy crowded, able to get seats and enjoy.
Joseph Gilchrist (engel): The best in new England!!!
Fábio Amaral: Ótimo lugar
lpunderg619: Great place to take the younger children
adelicio becker laurentino: Muito lindo, limpo, organizado, tudo de bom
LIC. Carlos Gomez: Siempre es de diversión familiar
C. Noelle: Forever crowded but so much fun anyway. Great little kid area, crazy splash zone, lazy river. Something for everyone!
José Manuel Ramos: Muy bien, ideal para niños. Quiza algún vigilante más estaria perfecto
A H: Not many waterslides, but fantastic lazy river.
Pura vida LW: It's a very awesome place to go to the ride is free the water park is free games and food you have to pay for it.food is very expensive a nice place for family if you're traveling with a bunch of bags just make sure that them have to check it no food no drink alone if you have a small backpack they will not check that.
Hector Perez: Definitivamente muy Divertido, 🙂
Marcellus Warren: Amazing even for adults. Like wow!!!
Heidi Brooke: Love it
Marcie Bujnowski: Was nice lots of people though could use a few more attractions

Warren H Manning State Forest: what do users think?
Amber McCarthy: This park is beautiful. Great place to hike or go with your kids. They have a splash pad which is cool even though we haven't used it. They have a small stream there which is cool my daughter likes to look for the frogs. Just make sure you bring bug spray because they definitely have ticks!! As long as you're prepared for it, you'll be ok!
Taylor Baker: Very much enjoyed the adult fitness trail!
Cecelia F: This is a wonderful state forest with a splash pad and a fitness trail. We visited in the off-season, so the splash pad was not open, but in the summer it is $5 per day or $50 per season. We took the fitness trail, then crossed the road and did some of the other trails over there. The fitness equipment is fun and there are some good rocks to climb along the trails.
Yelissa Batista: We made a beautiful birthday party there, the park is awesome!
Nancy Yeo: Fun place for all to keep coolRestrooms: Didnt useDog-friendliness: Many people with dogsPicnic area: Lots of pinic tables
Julianne Antognoni: Love coming here with my kids to play in the splash pad! It's located in the woods and is shaded which is nice during sunny days. It is never super busy when you go but a fun place to meet other families!
Mohammed Alaedani: Highly recommended
Ameer SPEED LLC: Very nice and quiet place.. excellent place for BBQ
Terri Gonnella: Storm came with thunderstorms and lightning and heavy rain had to leave
Sashi Qualitz: Awesome place! My son loved the splash pad area. The only thing I wish I knew before going there was it's $5 cash to park which isn't bad but just didn't have cash on me.
John Gray: Great hidden gem, nice amount of shade for little ones too
Juicy Z: This is the best splash pad ever.
Dennis Rebello: Great local place to bring the kid the have spray water for the kid tables bench even cook out stoves very clean
Mele de Mora: This little park is great! We've come here in the off season to enjoy the trails (there are little exercise stops along the way with equipment, if that excites you) but the major draw for my little one is the splash pad. We were so excited when it opened up again: it's free until June 27th and after that it will be $5/day or $50/season.Helpful tip: to turn the water on again after the cycle finishes, just hold you hand on the black top of the red fire hydrant for 2-3 seconds and the sensor will kick it on again. Awesome place for people of all ages!
Jason Bonneau: The splash pad is their biggest draw but there are side trails for walking hiking. It can be a bit buggy.
Jennie Auchterlonie: Awesome trails, well kept. Dog Friendly, must be leashed. Great exercises to do along the way!
Michael Doyle: It's decent. Smallish, but perfect low impact fitness trail.
Arthur Johnson: Quick little 1 mile-ish hike. There's a kiddie "water park" during the summertime. If you cross Rt 129, there are lots more miles of trails in the Billerica State Forest.
David Habiel: Great hiking trails. There is a place to park your car, tables with charcoal bbq grills available for outdoor gatherings and a play area for kids.
Doc Kram: Shady
Judith Reyes: Me encantó, caminar por tanta naturaleza, más las áreas de ejercitarse, hermoso.
