Ramani Cossack: BEWARE!!! check all the vaccinations before letting them give your animal's shots. They have given our kitten A CANINE vaccine. Thank god she was healthy and hearty otherwise she could have died. We bought the kitten at a reputable breeder and took her to our vet, who brought it to our attention that our kitten was given a canine shot. We brought this to the attention of the breeder who who was shocked because they didn't realize the mistake. This animal hospital ADMITTED TO THE MISTAKE -- but the doctor refuses to answer our vet's calls and explain how this mistake happened or how this going to affect the kitten in the long term. The offending vet is Chris Brushair (not sure of spelling), I don't know who the assistant who prepared the shots was, because the breeder said the shots were prepared ahead of time. FIND ANOTHER VET!

Brianna Graff: DO NOT USE THIS VET. They used to be reputable, but after bad experiences with both our dog and our bird, I would not recommend them. Still, they are one of the few avian vets in the SPR area.Our dog had a non-healing corneal scratch (a sign of low immunity that would lead us to a cancer diagnosis within the next few months, at a DIFFERENT vet) and they were very rude and derogatory to my partner. Them being one of the few avian vets in the area, we decided to give them a try for our bird. We had an OK visit and they were overall friendly, but after asking for his records they sent me a blank form with nothing listed on it aside from 1 fecal test they did (and they didn't include the result on the test). They had his age and my address wrong on the form and didn't document his weight, which I know they took at the visit.I asked for the doctor's visit note, as well as any visit data they had, and they responded with the same blank medical record, and an index card with scratchy, barely legible writing on it. No explanation of the care he was given. It's 2023 - a health office should have an electronic medical record that they document ALL visits in. We have been going to Feeding Hills instead with our new rescue dog and have been much more impressed with their care. I guess if your animal is overall healthy they'd be fine to pop into for a health check, but don't expect great records.

IMO His Mental health is on the decline due to his age. He was once a great VET. Now he is a shell of his former self. Please someone tell him to retire.

C S: Have been taking our pets here for 15 years and it has been the only place we have trusted. We lost a pet to a very dishonest place years ago and it took us time to find the right place. Up until last year this place was great. Today we had our first real emergency 1 hour before closing. I mindful and acknowledged the time and was told by the receptionist she would check if the vet was available since she had 3 other appointments. She also gave me a number to a place in Sturbridge … for an emergency?? I waited 45 minutes for her to call me back like she said and I had to call. She immediately let me know the vet was gone for the day. I let her know again this was an emergency and I was waiting for her call back and all she said was “didn’t I already give you the number to Sturbridge?” Idk what type of business this has become but that is disgusting. In an emergency to not follow up as she said, to not have compassion and treat us like we don’t matter is disgusting.

Sarah Reilly: When my vet told me the cost to spay our cat was up to $600 I was shocked! We 100% did not want her to have kittens, but we just could not afford that. I found Second Chance and submitted my application. Once at the office, I found the staff helpful, kind, and reassuring. I felt Ruth was in good hands and was at peace with leaving her there. They took great care of her. She is part of my family, so I had been anxious leaving her with strangers for her spay. Janine Boland: We were greeted warmly for our first visit with our rescue dog. The staff took time to answer all our questions and were gentle in their examination. They put Franklin at ease as they gave him his immunizations. The practice is set up so that pets never interact with on another during the visit so that there is less distraction and excitement for everyone. Highly recommend!

Joy Iwanicki: Dr Robert Sidorsky and his wife came to our home yesterday to see our cat who has been struggling the last few days. I left a voicemail for the doctor and his wife called me back the very next morning offering me a 1pm-3pm window that they could come over. They were both very calming, sweet and educational. Unfortunately we had to put our 16 year old cat down but they spoke to us about our options prior and helped us throughout the whole processes.They helped make Denali as comfortable as possible and euthanized her at home with us where she was the most happy! Prices were also reasonable.. although having someone come into your home and cause so much LESS stress for your loving pet is worth EVERY PENNY!I highly, highly recommend this couple and their services!

Marianna Abrahamson: After 20 years of going here with our dogs, we had to choose a new vet for our furbabies. Throughout the years we have had Dr. Bob, Dr. Barns...and loved the doctors , techs, and staff. Something changed in the last few years. Such an overturn of staff. We feel the compassion has left the practice.Our girl just had to have major surgery on Oct 7 for a situation that was not being treated correctly and being brushed off as something less . Our girl presented with trouble breathing and with X-rays showed it was pneumothorax. Air between lung and cheast wall. She was put on steroids and antibiotics. 2 weeks later , second xray appt on a Friday, Some improvement. But not great, But talking with the doctor we were spoken to in a very condescending way after asking questions. The steroids made her so restless. I asked the doctor what could we do. Doctor Lazjur asked me, is that ur anxiety or the dogs. She stated our girl could go back to some play and activity. I was appalled by how she spoke to both of us. I spoke to an associate in the waiting area in tears. She asked if we would like nyla to see Dr. Shirtleft for a second opinion. Our appointment was at 5pm on the Monday. At 645pm we were finally seen. Dr. Bob was stumped, he said let me confer with Dr. Lazjur, I will call you tomorrow. No call ever came. Called the next day. We finally got a call at 10pm Wed night. DR. said he think we should call tufts.I was done , our girl was not getting better. On Thursday morning I called tufts. They got nylas reports..they stated she needs to get there ASAP. they did emergency surgery on out girl...she had a piece of a twig in her lung , had to have a lobe of her lung removed. If we didn't trust our gut and went with what Dr. LAZJUR Said ,our baby wouldn't be here with us. This was a horrible experience and it wasn't the first!! But it will be the last!! Nyla is on the mend because of Tufts University in Grafton Mass. She had the best of the best care.Eastfield is not what it used to be. And they are low on staff (vets) and compassion. No one should wait an hour and a half to see a vet when you have an appointment.

captain cap: Absolutely awful. These are pictures from when they remove a couple of mats from my cats fur. I was never informed that he was cut multiple times and the second photo had a piece of his skin hanging. I had just noticed when I got him back home.. The doctor told me my cat had a serious kidney issue possibly kidney failure and prescribed food that didn’t help with kidney issues. Come to find out at a new hospital that my cat has a tumor in his lungs and nothing was wrong with his kidneys… They did not properly treat my cat nor found out what the true issue had been. The receptionist charged another member in my house hold for the wrong bill without informing them.. I had found out at a different day of a different appointment.. Everyone is extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. Absolutely do NOT recommend bringing your animals here. Wasted hundreds of dollars to be told misinformation and treated horribly.

Carol. Gowrie: Very efficient, and organized especially during covid, on staying in your vehicle, calling them on your cell to let them know your outside with your pet for their apmt. Staff is always very helpful & friendly!
