Good thing I called as I was informed that my account transferred over. I will update again once I receive fuel delivery with new company Dead River Company.

Unfortunately had to go to another company who has no problem with same day delivery.

From their options of budget or pre-pay plans, to Roxanne who is our service tech...they have been awesome. Since we got central A/C they even have a plan to service that unit as well. I would highly recommend baystate fuel.3 years after this review we just got our letter stating baystate is transferring ownership. This is disappointing to us, but I understand running a business is very different now than ever before. I would like to thank the owners and employees for 23 years of great service. Jaer Martinez: I have been dealing with this oil company for now 5 years and I had run out of oil because my tank does not show when we are running out of oil and I did I called them to come fill the tank and yes I did tell them I did not need someone to restart it because I have plenty of other times but they had updated my system without telling me to a digital system that has locked mr out and does not let me restart it. So I call I ask then politely if they can have someone come out and restart it since I was unaware that they out in a new system the gentleman that time he came never informed me as the owner of the home thst they did that and the Woman disrespectful as could be said to me that they did not have to tell me that they installed a new system that fuel assistance paid for it yet I’m the owner of the home and what do you mean they did not have to inform me. I am a single mother with 3 kids one being asthmatic 8 years old and my 6 month grandson and they are ok letting us be in this cold a whole weekend because they want to charge me 119 dollars and 95 dollars an hour to release a kick out code that I’m sure will take less then 5 min and charge me more then the time they were going to if needed the assistance upon delivery . 413sOWN: Bay state oil is a good company. There prices are a bit more than almost every other place but they can usually deliver the same day or for sure the day after. I definitely recommend them.Update: For others new to oil. I was under the impression that you could not order less than a hundred gallons of oil, ok that's fine but apparently its if your oil tank doesn't take at least a hundred gallons on the delivery. So apparently I was charged $45 on the last two deliveries because my tank took under the hundred gallons. This is something I was not aware of. So this is for people new to oil just in case you are not made aware as I was not. Also the new updated charge for your tank not taking at least one hundred gallons is $75 so just a heads up. This is not a bashing review I'm just letting people know that might be unaware as I was. I will continue using Baystate oil but I just wish I was told this from the start so I would have saved the $90.

I sent an email to you late that night and to my surprise a woman from your company called me to ask about my problem the next morning. She very nicely explained I was not a current customer but she would see what she could do. Very soon after we spoke she called me back with an appointment for that afternoon. Again I was pleasantly surprised. The driver showed up at noon. Lenny was very professional and fixed my furnace perfectly in just a couple hours. He was a pleasure to talk to and made the experience a less stressful one. I highly recommend Lenny and your company to everyone I speak to. Tad Duncan: Came home from work on a 20° evening to find my house ice cold and furnace not working. Called for emergency dispatch and spoke with Tim. After gathering some info he said, "I'll see you shortly." 10 minutes later dude shows up with his Home Depot bucket and went right to work. 20 minutes after that our system was working perfectly. Tim was very kind, personable, helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. He even offered advice on our old water heater. We decided to pay in full for a 2 year service agreement which gets you a lot of perks and is very affordable. Regular maintenance, priority dispatch, reduced cost parts and whatnot. A very good deal for these older New England homes. I was a little embarrassed about the cleanliness of our kitchen, but a true professional Tim was, he said not a word 🤪 10/10 would recommend calling Berkshire Heating & Air. Ryan Hall: I had scheduled a furnace maintenance and took time off work and they canceled the first time due to an employee quitting. They rescheduled for almost 6 weeks later. On the day of the second appointment I got a call to cancel again due to many customers being without heat, which is totally understandable, but then they wanted to schedule the next appointment for another month away. I have taken off work twice and have questions about our furnace and eventually didn't even take the next appointment. The person on the phone was very smug and kept stating that the people with no heat are priority and I agreed every single time, my problem is that they couldn't get me in for another month and she acted like she was doing me a favor. I originally called in October and we are now in the end of January. I will find someone else

Lawrence Goodman: Jason recently serviced my two air-conditioning units. Not only did he do a thorough inspection, but he discovered that they air did not seem to be circulating properly and discovered that the registers were not installed properly which was blocking the vents and returns. He took the time to check everyone throughout the entire house and corrected the problem.
