J&L Medical Services: what do users think?
lisa silva: Having issues with Maxine and they won’t return my calls.
Jeremy Dugan: I received my CPAP from J&L on 6/27. I immediately found out the mask I was fitted for was wrong. I have called 14 times and left 14 messages with either Customer Service or Respiratory Therapists to get refitted for a full face mask. I was told a fit guide would be sent to me (nothing sent!). Today, I was told this is a Supply issue but I still don't know what size mask I need. This rep started the conversation with an over the top attitude and I asked her if I did something wrong. She didn't answer, so I asked, "did I do something to deserve this attitude?" ...she responds, "I'm sorry, goodbye," and hung up. So I've now had a CPAP for 6 weeks, after waiting 13 weeks for it to be delivered. This place is rude on the phone regularly (today's was just the cherry on top), unresponsive to messages and customer service requests, and hangs up on you.If you have a choice, do not choose J&L.
Michael Saliba: They used to be great prior to merging with Lincare. Dealt with Lincare in West Htfd years ago and and treated to the worst customer service I’ve ever had. They overcharge Medicare for items you didn’t request as well as uphold Lincare’s horrific customer service. FIND ANOTHER PROVIDER!
Christopher Secco: The lady I spoke with was nice, and gave me other places to check as they didn't have what I was looking for.
Lora Barrett: I have been trying for three weeks to order a portable CPAP machine. First J&L lost the referral from the doctor. Then I called and was told someone would get back to me. Then I had the referral sent again. I have called three more times and no one has ever gotten back to me. We’re talking about a $600+ machine that I am going to pay for out of pocket. One would think they would want my money, particularly since I have had a regular CPAP machine for 2 years now.
Erica G: If I could give no stars I would. This is the most disorganized company I have ever dealt with. If you have a choice, use ANY other supplier. Save yourself the headache.
R. Aversa: If you need CPAP equipment DO NOT CHOOSE THIS COMPANY. From my first appointment there was literally no communication. I had to figure out everything on my own. I was never fitted properly for a mask and I never received supplies when I needed them. If you have questions and need to call in, they use some sort of generic answering service and it could take hours for someone to get back to you. I finally decided to change companies. When I went to drop off my machine, the receptionist looked at me and walked away. I sat in the waiting room for over an hour. There are plenty of other companies out there to use.
Victor Dynak: Won't stop calling, even after I told them I'd call if I needed anything. Blocking their number.
Frank Nunez: Stay away from J&L Medical Services. Customer service and billing practices are horrible. I have spent 5 month trying to resolve a billing issue caused by them and they wanted to bill me for the insurance companies portion also. Buyer beware.
Lisa Dietz: Their employees are very unhelpful and very rude to the customers. Left several messages with no return calls. I’ve been having an issue with my billing for the last seven months Getting nasty pre collection letters saying that I have not made any effort to Communicate with them about my outstanding bill, when I’ve called them every month starting back November 2019 till June 2020 on the same bill problem, because I returned some supplies back to them and they never gave me credit on the supplies that I returned.
Tito Medina: I just wanted to say thank you to Stephanie for her patience on explaining the c pap machine how to use it and also cleaning it. She was awesome 👍🏼
VL. St. John: I found the staff very friendly and helpful, I would recommend J & L to my family and friends.
PRIMARY CARE: The company itself may be unorganized, but the RT that I saw was amazing! She was very knowledgeable in all areas of concern such as my sleep apnea, use of my c-pap, how to clean tubing, and what to do in order to improve my health condition.. Thank you Stephanie !!! Because of you I sleep better.
Jackie Dejesus: The worst company to deal with for C-pap. I wont send any more referrals there and I will be transferring the ones I already have! They get a Zero from me.
Susan Cragin: I called in 4 times, was kept on hold for a few minutes, then there was nothing, I think they hang up.
Valerie Chadwick: If they had zero stars, I would have put that. The one employee was aggravating and rude. It seemed like she wanted to prove we were doing something wrong with the machine. She was no help at all, didn't care about taking care of a person's needs. I left the office swearing and slamming the door. That woman is a barracuda. Stay away if you want to keep all your body parts.
Gerald Mann: They took over Lincare accounts. Never notified customers, new address, Lincare never helped when called for info about new address. No local telephone in office, only one employee. Can only contact thru messages left at central switchboard. Time to look for a new D M E.
Steve Nelson: These people would have to get much much better just to be incompetent. They have no idea how to run a business...stay away..they're bad news...very bad news
Henry Robert: This company had the worst customer support they just hang up when a problem surfaces.

Agawam Medical Supply, Corp.: what do users think?
Diana DiMauro: Their customer service is A+.They were helpful, caring, respectful, friendly and professional. This is coming from someone who was in customer service for 30 years.
Yoly Echevarria: The ladies Aleesa and Amy did a fantastic job. The service was amazing and very professional. I will recommend this place 100%.
Jamie LaBay: I went in for my 3 year olds breathing machine. This was the 4th place I had been to with my prescription order and the first place to greet me pleasantly and actually help! Aleesa called 2 people and worked diligently to make sure I left with our machine and didn’t have to make another ER trip for a treatment. Office is very clean and bright. Thanks again Aleesa for easing this momma’s mind and your awesome customer service!
Nikki McCuin: I went in to buy a moist heat pack to ease arthritis pain. Aleesa recommended the Theratherm. So glad I got it! She was very knowledgeable and I felt confident she knew what I needed. Great service, great products! Definitely recommend this store.
Kelly Jones Sr.: Terrible costumer service! No sympathy or compassion for the disabled who desperately need and depend on medical equipment. They seem to be a company looking to make a quick profit off the disabled community.
Patrick Pezzati: If ZERO were an option that is what they would get. Called them with an emergency situation and they could not have cared less. Never dealt with less helpful people and they're supposed to be in an industry that requires compassion.
David Silverman: There’s no way to contact the store. Was trying to find out if they carry a specific item I needed but despite the store being open, the phone number wouldn’t connect.
mariluz ramos: Very rude customer service
Patricia Uschmann: Do not listen to what they are being told about insurance coverage we have. Said they spoke with insurer and there was a copay which there was not. I called insurer. They told me we did not have a copay and no one from Agawam medical ever called them
Joanie Lawson: I called about a walker and it was in my price range Yay!!!!
erick cortes: Great job calling patients and then they support. They have a great team to help out. They are good communication with patients and be on top of the insurance company to get approved and doctor. Keep a great job. God bless all and family members.😊😊😊😊
Elizabeth: GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! Waited over a MONTH for supplies only to find they never ordered them!Waited a month and a half for some supplies to be approved by insurance and sent out, only to find that the order was never placed. They had all the forms they needed, yet couldn't manage to put in a simple order.I've had problems with getting supplies in a timely manner right from the get go . . .UNACCEPTABLE!!
Barbara H: We got emergency medical supplies through Agawam ordered by VNA hospice and could not have appreciated the delivery personnel more (Gerald especially and Joe) .....they were considerate, effective, set up and explained everything and felt like part of our family for the brief time they were here. We will always remember them and were grateful for their support and help. Thank you again!
Tim Jackewich: Good selection and great staff.
Terri Davis: My husband who is a double amputee was fitted in February for a power chair and they are saying it's our fault that the insurance lapsed which it never should've because we paid the premium. They dont take responsibility for their mistakes that they make and they lie constantly. I just called to check on power chair that was supposed to be delivered today, but apparently now it's just been ordered and has to be put together and so on, and it takes time and blah blah blah.....STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.. WE WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN FOR ANYTHING AFTER WE GET THIS CHAIR...
Chelsey Andrews: I think this company is great, staff is very nice and helpful. They have a very big variety of medical supplies for a decent price, I’ve been ordering from them for a few months now with no problems. For a local business with lots of customers, I’d say they do a great job. Definitely recommended!
Dan Hesser: Literally the worst company I have ever dealt with. They make you do all the work between the doctor and you, they don’t call back, they wouldn’t help me when someone left me a voicemail. I called back 5 min later that person had left for the day and NO ONE would help me to get an RX refilled
Sarah Dansereau: Not well trained to meed the needs of clients
Kelly Donovan: My order sometimes is wrong catheters but they do quicklyFix the problem..
corey drouin: Stay far far away from this place I’ve been dealing with them for years and it’s only because I have no where else to go they are never on time rude to customers have no customer service skills for deliveries that come monthly they just show up at your house and expect you to be home with out setting up an appointment and if your not home it’s your fault and they send your medical supplies back like I said before no customer service skills and absolutely does not care about there clients they just want to your money and look at it they bill your insurance I bet there’s a few extra charges you didn’t know about
Catherine Mulcahy: 10/10 would not go back. Very hostile.

National Seating & Mobility: what do users think?
Susan Santerre: I have been calling for weeks and just keeping getting shuffled around. We have a wheelchair from there for my mom and it needs the head rest adjusted. No one ever gets back to us. Tech was out to see what it needed and there it ended.
Isaura Flores: Office people Heather is unprofessional. My son has this company for his equipment for 12 years and they just get worse every year. The only peraon that has helped us is Richard. Time to move to another company!
Frank Forrester: Be very careful about using this company you'll get the run around, we've been waiting for 8 months for an approval for a Wheelchair and still on a waiting list back in September for a temporary chair. Made numerous phone calls and getting the same answer, still waiting for an approval.
Gabe Luppi: I've been without a wheelchair for WEEKS close to a month they order wrong parts then make you wait even longer, no loaner chairs nothing I go to college I'm building a wheelchair myself in school and can barely get what i need done because of this. One day nsm chicopee is gonna bury somebody with they're mistakes and they don't ever take account for anything they mess up with. What's caster wheels gonna do for my wheelchair stuck on its safety feature. Absolutely astonished
Charlie hmmm: Barely had the chair 12 hours and it started to malfunction. Now I have to go all weekend without my legs! Called them Thursday the day after I got it. They basically told me I was going to have to wait. They did not have an emergency slot for anything yet their medical equipment company? Don’t go through them they’re not good!
Nicole: We have had a terrible experience with the Chicopee office. It has been a year and my son's wheelchair is still not appropriate for him. It has been a year of excuses and lack of follow through. Once the salesmen made the sale he was really allset with us. Desiree, the supervisor, gave me "permission" to utilize a different branch. That is how she dealt with my concerns. We did need to purchase a stroller and shower chair so I did already get support from another branch. The complete process with the new location was great. Customer service, communication, and support were all provide to us. We are very happy with our new vendor. As for Chicopee, if Dan or Dessire are involved, run!
Brian Boisvere: You call to find out what your repair status is and they don't answer the phone all the sudden you'll get a voicemail. They say if the call comes in before 4:00 they'll return it. I called two days ago and I have not gotten anything back. Did the same thing last week
David LaRosa: The team at Chicopee works hard to meet the guests needs.
John Letot: Extraordinary customer service. Billy went above & beyond to help our family when our father's wheelchair battery needed to be replaced before our family vacation. He took his time explaining how everything worked and walked us through the process. We truly appreciated his hard work & professionalism. Highly recommended!
Karen Jacques: Always on time. Steve and Graig are there to please you. They are friendly and knowledgeable. I enjoy workingworkinh
Sharon Levy: My husband needed a mobility scooter and National Seating and Mobility is affiliated with Medicare so we called. Vanessa was great at handling the details. If you have a complaint with them, it is not the actual company it is the Paperwork requited from Medicare to cover the cost. So, even though I think the process was about 2 months it was worth it. One needs lots of documentation and if you can't follow through with all of it, you are out of luck. Today the scooter was delivered and Jules did a great job explaining all the details. Jules was professional and detailed.Just remember it's Medicare that makes the process difficult.
John Geer: don't return phone calls left messages 3 days in a row 3 xs3 a day NO reply
Desirée: Great customer service team and skilled technicians, knowledgeable ATPs/salesmen
Dan Frappier: I just don’t have anything bad to say. Very good company!!!
Nate Budington: Horrendous customer service on so many levels well beyond disinterest in returning phone calls. A Harvard Business School case study in poor management. Having a relationship with NSM gives you a glimpse of what life must have been like doing business in the Soviet Union.
AJ Beatty: Trying to help my client get service from this company is incredibly difficult. Even the day after repairs are done there are still more repairs that weren't fixed during the visits. My client is a full time wheelchair user and was given a miracle of a grant to be able to get funding for a new chair after the one this company made didn't fit their size anymore but insurance wouldn't cover a new one and this company refused to give their sizing info so that the very large amount of grant money could be put towards getting them a new chair. My client was very upset and felt very exploited by this company as due to this response they felt they were nothing more than a paycheck to this company and that them not being allowed access to information such as measurements about their own body took away their autonomy. This was all extremely problematic. They have since learned to fix their own wheelchairs the best they can and to take their own measurements and to find and order their own parts and essentially do everything this company does out of their own pocket which they can't really afford because of how badly this company treats its customers. I really do feel for my client and I urge anyone who thinks about getting any kind of equipment from this company to learn how to repair your own chairs, find your own funding sources and cheap parts and because we know this company does not help, utilize amazing services such as the DME Requipment reuse program that some states have as they give loaners out for free and will work with you so you don't have to pay much if anything at all to have equipment that actually works. Sad that a nonprofit run off donation is doing a significantly better job than this company to get people the DME they so desperately need and repair things when this company's literal job is to do that same thing but at least there is an alternative. I am glad clients like mine have another option in our area. I wish everyone else did. If it comes to picking this company or any other company, please pick another if your insurance lets you. From my clients experiences you will not be disappointed with pretty much every other company out there compared to this one.
Courtney Rohan: good luck getting anyone to call you back. I leave voicemails send emails and never hear back from customer service. my clients with wheelchairs have to wait months to ever get anything fixed which is a shame.
sandra barreira: They NEVER return my calls. My client who has Cerebral Palsy has been waiting for a new motorized scooter for almost a year.Horrible customer service.
Justin Skinner: I've been dealing with this company for years now and I can honestly say there always issues either with its appointments, ordering of parts to the repair of equipment zero organization when dealing with Clients
bertrand bickel: You got a love a place that calls you back, left my name my number reason why I was calling, I don’t even think it was 10 minutes later I got a callback from a very nice professional young lady very helpful and knowledgeable about the issues and problems I was experiencing. I would definitely without a doubt recommend this place for any kind of scooter, electric wheelchair any sort of mobility device A1 professional service, thanks again for all your help!!! B.P. Bickel lll
Gail Poulin: Latest update: The patient advocate got some action on the repair and the chair was fixed.Last experiences.I left the review below 6 months ago and spoke with a representative after he read it. There was a quick turn around in getting the service completed after that contact. Now we are having another HUGE issue. My brother uses a Quantum power chair. The steering went on it in late July so I scheduled a house call for about 10 days later. The problems were diagnosed and we thought the process had begun. That includes getting insurance approval and manufacturing/parts ordered. We waited several weeks without hearing from them. Then we started calling, almost weekly. We heard lots of excuses, "insurance approval is slow, manufacturer hasn't given us a delivery date, sign the form authorizing we will pay if insurance doesn't " - heard that one twice and have yet to receive the promised form the second time. We had a tech out last week and he said "What? The motors not here so I'm not going to be able to do this other job."Right now I am on hold and filling the time with this review. Don't bother leaving your number for a call back without losing your place in line, I did that an hour ago when I was #1 in line. This time I am hanging at #3 until my battery dies or the system times out.My brother has been unable to drive his chair for over 2 months. A patient advocate for my brothers doctor called them and was told the "authorization form was mailed 5 days ago." Our next call will be to the state's attorney general. They get things done.Earlier review:We have had good and not-so-good experiences with NSM over about 20 years or more. They are terrible about getting out to you in a short amount of time. If you can get the chair to them at their office, they can often do it same day or next day if the parts are in stock. Our last issue was a dead chair and it was the battery so that was a quick fix after we got the chair to them for diagnosis. We have had one amazing technician who is top notch, personable, and cares about the needs of the client. We've had another who said he needed to order parts but then dropped the ball. When we called back a month later, the part had not been ordered yet. When parts need ordering, it's a long wait, weeks or months. I suspect that may be the industry standard.Edit 4/15/19We needed to add attendant controls to the back of the chair and contacted NSM last month after posting the above review and getting the reply from them. The part was ordered, an appt was made, the tech installed and tweeked the settings, and we have tried it out. We need to tweek it some more so I will contact NSM today. While the attendant controls only have 2 speed settings, we need a faster speed for traveling outside. 3 speeds would have been better but two is what we got. I have changed my review to 4 stars anticipating a quick appt for a more simple adjustment. The young tech's name started with D and he was great.
