David Guardino: I've been in car with Claudia, Fred, and Jonathon, and have also taken the thirty hour classroom course( through zoom) with Robert. All of them know and teach you not only exactly what you need to pass your road test, but how to stay safe on the road. Every time I've spoken to Francheska In the office, she's been kind and helpful, and has always gotten back to me right away with any questions I had. I want to thank you guys for all your help, really appreciate it!
Marc Atkin: We had a great experience with United Driving School. They are very busy with all the Covid restrictions and still made it as easy as possible for my son. He really enjoyed the driving experience and education he received from Claudia. She was great! I was also very impressed with how calm he was during the driving test and yes he passed the first time. I know that came from the great experiences he received from United. We’ll be back for the next go around with our other kids soon.

Freedom_Lasts: It was pretty good. Videos kind of outdated but still pretty good nothing out of the ordinary. I would recommend this school and the vehicles and in perfect condition to drive at all times. And I passed first try.
Ryan O'Keefe: Super friendly and very nice. Completely different experience than the Springfield DMV. I have anxiety and they made me feel at ease.
Hilary Amparo: This is the best driving school in the area , I’ve been to other driving schools in Springfield and they weren’t as helpful as elms. After failing my license twice via two local driving schools , I decided to give elms auto school a chance and that was the best decision I had ever made . My instructor was Bethany and she was AMAZING ! She understood my anxiety when it came to driving and helped me build the confidence that I needed and helped me believe in myself. Elms has one of the best staff I’m so glad I went there . Like they say third time is a charm im so glad I can finally say I passed !

Instead of motivating and encouraging young drivers, they focus on every mistake and incorrect move you make, and not one positive thing was said during the entire lesson.I learned nothing and left fighting back tears with my confidence in driving destroyed.Do not send your child here, do not waste your money.
saoirse trodaire: Definitely would not even give this place a star. It’s been a year since class was taken online. Calls are made daily to this place with messages left in regards to the driving part of the class. The one time the owner answered the phone from the number listed online for the school she was confused asking why calls were coming in on that number. That ended fast with her saying “call you back in five minutes”. It’s now three months later..Don’t waste your money here.
Aaliyah Davis: Driving instructors are harsh and demotivating. They only focus on most of the maneuvers we use in everyday driving but what about actual parking? Ever since I’ve gone there not once have they taught me how to park. I had to ask. I thought that came with the curriculum. Imagine paying all that money for driving school only to have instructors drive you around town for an hour, have you taking turns and parallel parking all throughout your lessons but when on your own you don’t even know how to park in a regular slot. I guess you’re supposed to gain that knowledge on your own. Not once have I parallel parked outside of the lesson but yet I struggle with parking in lots.

I’ve just not finished my sentence yet then she jumped in my mouth and she’s like scream over the phone ‘ WE DONT HAVE ANY OPENING THIS MONTH’ . I did not even ask her about next month schedule cos I think she doesn’t respect and need customers at all. We pay , we do not ask for free then we dont deserve for that bad service.

K T: I would assume that the cost includes practicing the test route until perfect. This was not done and I was not excited about having to teach after paying this kind of money. Must prepare students better for the test especially since the RMV seems to treat some people differently than others or based on their mood that day. Having said that, we really like the employees we dealt with at Elm Auto School. Very pleasant, accomodating, and convenient program. Only had to reschedule once and they were punctual within 10-15 minutes every lesson and were good at texting to let student know what was going on.

The most unprofessional driving instructor I ever seen. Cost me my exam and my safety because she also gave me the wrong instructions during the short lesson before my exam. Waste of money and time. Go to a different school if you want professionalism.

Well working office.There was DMV system change in main office and with all that problems and difficulties, the office stuff was extremely helpful, trying to do as much as possible to give us all possible information and guide us through all scheduling, payments and information of "how, where and what to do", being consistently patience texting me back and force with all reminders.2. Our teacher was Bethany. Very punctual, knowledgeable teacher! I was a translator for my friend and can tell the attention is the road, rules and give a knowledge how to use it safely and competently.I saw her with young people (prior to driving test) and she is very patience, can give a comfort, a time (to think) and you better listen ))).My friend (who use to drive in different country for more than 10 years) and 2 young girls (who never drive any car) - all passed.I read previous negative reviews about Elm school and there was some "strange feelings" like not to go, but we live near by and had no choice but take the chance and "risk". I guess something was changed in time, because im more than satisfy with the results and already referred few people there.

yes no: Don't ever take lessons here. Incredibly unpunctual, rude, inattentive, you name it. Had instructors forget appointments several times, come at the wrong times, and overall had the time to get my license stretched way beyond a reasonable amount. Never, ever, again.

Josh Burke: Lady named Amber (who is one of the driving instructors employed at this establishment) almost had my life taken away from me TWICE in just 1 day of driving due to her lack of attention, awareness, and responsibility, by constantly being on her phone, complaining, screaming, swearing, and yelling about food, her dream vehicle, and mocking a deaf student. She intentionally ignores students who she dislikes and doesn't answer their questions when it comes to driving while driving. If you want a good driving school experience with SAFETY, go someplace else. TRUST ME.

He taught me the right techniques particularly how to proper parallel park the vehicle and he was very patient and never showed me any frustrations whenever I messed up . Meg Dinn: I am on my second driver going through AA. Their on roads are great. Both of my kids are good drivers and were very independent in all of their easy scheduling.

Racist driving instructors made me feel in adequate and were very rude in particular to me and my friend who drove me to take the road test in the first place. Do NOT take your road test at this location. They tested after hours in the DARK and will refuse to reschedule you even if it is their fault. You will not being taken into their consideration as I wasted both my time and my friends time here driving here was not good at all.
Mt. Man: My son went here. He was really impressed with the school. He said the staff was very friendly and was there for you. He had no problems getting his license. He said they were very professional. Sid he would highly recommend the school to anyone. From my dealings with them I would have to say my son is very accurate with what he says. Jatzia Cruz: I made a $30 down payment for the “license tests for non full course driving school students” on 7/24/2022. I selected to be scheduled for the 8/20/2022 driving test. On 8/6/2022, I was contacted by someone in the company via text to provide a copy of my permit. After I provided this info, I was informed that I would receive an email confirmation of the scheduled test. I NEVER received this email confirmation. On 8/10/2022, I was informed that “due to a shortage of examiners, tests were moved to 9/3/2022.” Furthermore, I was informed on 8/11/2022 that I would receive an email confirmation for this new scheduled test. And again I NEVER received an email confirmation despite asking for it on multiple occasions. Every time I’ve attempted to ask for the email confirmation, I am told that it would be done but it never gets sent.On 9/1/2022, I reached out again to confirm that the scheduled test for 9/3/2022 would still be happening. YET AGAIN, I was informed that examiners we’re not able to get tests for 9/3/2022. Again, this employee is telling me that I can be scheduled for 9/7/2022, however this entire experience has been inconvenient, unprofessional, and unacceptable. Why are we given a scheduled date and time if “examiners are unable to give tests in the first place?”This place never return your calls or text messages!!!! They have poor customer service and are not professional. Save your money, time, and effort and go elsewhere!!

Tyler Hutchison: We struggled to receive any information about the class and did not receive a zoom link until the morning of the class. One day was cancelled for some reason with sort notice. No one is at the place of business and calls are never answered. The parent's class was cancelled, and no responses were ever provided for a reschedule. My son took the class months ago and we have been unable to get the notice that he passed or took the class. The owner continues to respond to text saying he is working on it, but the RMV has no record of him taking the class.

Theresa Carrington: We did not have a good experience with this Driving School. When my daughter went to take her Test, she was told her Paper Permit was warn out and not readable (note: RMV has everything online) , so she was Rejected. This is the same Permit she presented to the School for each On Road, and then to schedule her Driving Test. She was not warned that she needed to get a new one. So when it was time to schedule another Road Test, Maria wasn't going to give us a Test refund without a yelling match. We then had to wait out the rejection and then many weeks later to schedule with this Driving School for another test. Lots of stress. We won't be going there for my Son.
Sanessa Cortina: Very difficult to schedule on roads. No flexibility. 6 week gaps in scheduling as they’d only schedule 3 at a time. Can’t schfeule additional on roads until your 3 are done, and by the time I scheduled next they were booked 6 weeks out. Would not use again.
Debra Low: We did not choose to use this company for our 2nd child's drivers education. Our 1st child did learn everything she needed to pass her drivers test, with this company, but their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. We found Maria to be snappy and defensive in response to any criticism. Their on-road scheduling procedures made it difficult to complete on-roads to test on-time, resulting in an 2 month delay for our daughter. (can only schedule 3 on-roads at one time, and lots of stalling in between) If you ask around, you will hear similar complaints from other parents. Your child will pass their test, but I would advise you to do your homework and give your money to someone who provides better customer service for your $600.
