R Valdez: Very friendly and professional. They are knowledgeable, precise, and provide great service. I would recommend them highly. ---Oct 2021 had some problems with right hearing aid, took it in. They ran a quick test, determined it had to be sent out for repair. It was back in 8 days, & repair fee was very reasonable. Great service, totally recommend this place.
Don Brown: This place is slowly going downhill. They do not answer there phones. They do not return phone calls. Not the way to conduct a business. Yet they are cheaper than most places.

Donald: I have been using Baystate Hearing for years for my hearing aids and service. James Caldarola my hearing aid specialist and owner has given me outstanding service for years and still is to this day. When ever I have an issue or emergency he is always there for me and goes way beyond the service expectation that one would expect. Mr. Caldarola will always try in fit me in to address my concerns as soon as possible. For me the service is the most important component of buying a hearing aid than price which he has everyone beat buy hundreds of dollars. Highly recommend this company.
Kate Cotnoir: I called and left message at Westfield office 7/1. Jeff promptly called me back and had me come to the office the following morning to discuss new hearing aids for my Mom. I brought her Audiologist test with me. He gave me a form to have the doctor fill out for insurance coverage. I took care of that the same day. Jeff had told me he would come to my Mom's house to do the ear molds for the lab. When I heard nothing more from Jeff since our meeting 7/2, I left him a message last week. He ignored it. I left three messages this week. Last night, I happened to take my Mom to Westwood restaurant when a miracle occurred, my phone rang and it was Jeff. I can only presume he saw me in the building and was concerned I would make a personal visit to his office upstairs to find out why he was not returning phone calls. He told a tale that there were 50 customers ahead of my Mom. I don't particularly believe this because he never indicated that two weeks before. As a matter of fact, I called a reputable Audiology practice in Springfield Tuesday late afternoon and took my Mom to an appointment yesterday at 3:30 and they did the mold castings immediately. I would highly recommend moving on if you are dealing with Jeff. He has zero follow through.
Terry Hurlbut: Thanks to Baystate hearing I am up and running. They fitted me a few years ago and I had an issue with my aid today. I called and was immediately called back. Jeff Hall met me one hour later and took care of the issue. Service is awesome. If you or someone you know needs hearing assistance, don’t hesitate. These guys are awesome!

Michael P Williams: Spent a few days getting tested at various hearing centers. I found that Jim Caldarola who is one of the owners at Baystate Hearing Aids to be the most honest & ethical of all the centers' practitioners I visited. His focus was on what type of loss of my hearing capabilities I was experiencing and then providing me with the most cost effective product that would give me the best hearing I could have. My loss was severe and included Tinnitus which is best described as a constant sound buzzing in the ear. Jim made sure the product I have relieved that situation while enhancing voice hearing and eliminating background noise. Before my units for my ears I was unable to hear conversations with people sitting next to me in a restaurant!! Not anymore, the possibilities and the new sounds are endless. Thank you Jim for returning my hearing to me!!

The provider was courteous and professional.I liked the bone conduction hearing test being included with the normal hearing test.I also like that a sound-proof chamber WASN'T used. It meant that hearing is tested in a normal environment which better replicates reality. Sound chambers can give a false sense of hearing ability.I had no need of a hearing aid, so my review ends here.

Wendy Delcamp: My Dad's hearing aid wasn't working and the staff at Hearing Life Center in West Springfield MA was great! They had to send the hearing aid out for repairs and they kept in touch letting us know how long it would take and they were flexible with the appointment to pick it up. When it came time to pick it up his other hearing aid wasn't working quite right and they fixed it on the spot. We are were very happy with the whole process!

I was tired of only understanding1/2 of what people said in group settings, and constantly asking people to repeat themselves. Someone at work recommended Hampden Hearing Center. Dr. Garcia is very easy to work with and supportive during the hearing evaluation and device fitting process. The hearing aids have definitely improved my quality of life. HHC continues to provide assistance and answer questions.
