Oliver Duncan: Love it but at times it's boring
MonaLisa Leung Beckford: I graduated from the IB program (I'm not sure if the school still has the IB program now). I loved the program, got into six out of seven colleges, and graduated salutatorian. I still keep in touch with some high school friends after all these years. The teachers at this school were very friendly and cared about our success. The downside is, this school houses mostly underperforming and struggling students, and it's in a bad neighborhood with high crime rate. If you excel in school and you get into Commerce, make sure you join the Honors Classes (or IB if they still have it).
Alexander: Too many kids, so it makes it difficult to learn anything.
Tikidra Taylor: Good athletic program, very crowded so it's hard to attend to all the academic needs and Disciplinary

Megan Lederman: My son was assigned here after extenuating circumstances left him behind in credits. The staff have been phenomenal: guidance counselor is switched on and engaged, adjustment counselor is supportive and thoughtful, reception staff is helpful and knowledgeable, and the principal is amazing. My son says his teachers are all really nice too. This is a fantastic, energized, and welcoming team. It’s clear from my visits to the school that they are really working hard to serve kids and families in need of alternative options for academic success. Many thanks.

Genesis G: Most teachers are sarcastic, just move a long even if you do not understand what is going on. These teachers need to go over the work with the students for lots that do not understand the subject they are trying to learn. Do your job, and the students won't fail. Reach out to them, stop leaving them behind. This school is too challenging for lots of students that go here.

miguel soto: okay so i write this to wake parents up from sending there kids here, First of all it nothing how they say, the teachers pick the athlete over other students, the kids curse, as well as the staff , also most are racist and prejudice, forcing there beilefs on too others, they are unconsiderate, and sorry for the staff members whom do care, the prinpical is a dick who doesnt know how to talk to students with respect, with the exception of the athletes. bullies and kids with larger threats are everywhere,tons of kids have illegal things, weed, kinfifes, i seen it all behind these walls. really read this good parents, if you dont care about the B.S. your kids do , and the education they recieve this the place , but if you do care about your children send them else where

This "new school" of theirs is just a juvenile detention center. It is made out to look pretty from the outside and too "in line" on the inside. FOLLOW THE (unwritten) "RULES", HAVE CONNECTIONS, AND NEVER SPEAK "out of line" and you'll be "fine". To new coming Freshman parents, from a mom, send them to a private school...

Brenda Manning: I do not like West Springfield High School. They treat the special needs student's like they have a dis·ease. The are locked off from the rest of the school. My son hated it there. So we moved him to Agawam High School and he is doing great. I don't know much about the rest of the school , but anyone with specail needs shouldn't go there.They also say one thing to you and another to someone else. So there not even trust worthy.
