CHD Outpatient Behavioral Health Services: what do users think?
Raymond Corbeil: Very professional people they are there for a reason if anyone looking for therapy or ANY mental health team CHD is the place to be
Liz K: I will add on to the bad reviews... they're correct. Despite repeated calls from CVS, a recent medication management appointment with my son, AND my bringing it to their attention a month ago, here I am, STILL having to go get an EMERGENCY supply from CVS to hold him over.. for the second month in a row. People shouldn't have to stress out over the possibility of running out of their medications. My twins were left with no doctor for months and I recently learned that Dr. Darcy had been assigned to them 4 MONTHS PRIOR and just never reached out! I reported this and now they are making it difficult to keep the meds filled. I've never asked for anything special- just the basics: return a phone call, refill meds. That's all. We don't need a doctor in absentia who intentionally keeps patient communication NONEXISTENT. It's actually negligent. If you are THAT above some basic communication with your patients, then you're in the wrong field at the wrong place. The office manager there was ridiculous. The medication issue is a "now" problem- not a "wait until next appointment" (in 2 months) problem. If people just do their job in the first place, you'll have far fewer phone calls, complaints, and bad reviews.
Anon Mouse: The youth therapists there literally have no oversight and can pretty much write their own ticket. There is one therapist, Aimee, who is reliable, responsible and accountable. If not for her- 0 stars. Unfortunately, I can't say that about a few past therapists and my daughter's current therapist. My daughter's Pandemic era 2020-21 therapist, Whitney, dropped off the face of the earth for 5 months. When I called to ask what happened, they put my daughter right back with Whitney, just for her to ghost my daughter all over again (She should not have had her job, still). Her latest/current therapist relegated her to 1x a month appointments. When they were by phone, they'd typically run only about 5 minutes... makes you wonder how much time is *actually billed.* For the third time since she began with her, she cancelled due to a flight delay. Three cancellations from plane delays?? If it wasn't that, it was something else, like one of her weekend getaways. At some point you have no choice but to realize that the job of therapist is not high on her list of priorities. Sure, live your life and have fun- but not at the expense of my teens/kids. My daughter needs a reliable, responsible adult who won't flake on her. She told me she will never feel comfortable opening up to this therapist. No wonder... My son has adhd and his last therapist, Emias, who thankfully is no longer there, refused to go beyond 1x a month. He would text the link to my teen son a whole month ahead of time then wonder why my son would forget. Um... he has adhd??? Even with a typical teen, that text will get buried in a month... Things came to a head when I asked him to text my son the day OF the appt. Emias refused, yelled, stating his "other patients are fine with it." Meeting individual needs or making a small accommodation was not in his skill set. He acted like the job was beneath him. So, now I have experienced behavior that is egregiously unprofessional from three different youth therapists. Whoever the therapist supervisor has been (Sonia was the latest) she clearly has not cared. For a large # of cases, therapy in this facility is just a box for them to check off. You call and can't even leave a message anymore nowadays. It just rings and rings and rings. Just another insult to people with MassHealth, who apparently, don't deserve decent patient care or basic, common consideration. Oh, and my kids have not had a doctor in eight months now, just nurses filling the scripts. The company does not know how to run in a professional manner.
Sharie Lebron: Donna St. John a therapist their is beyond unprofessional , takes her patients mental health as jokes and continually ignores her patients putting them at risk
T: Once again this office is absolutely HORRIBLE with their clients. They never call back, respond to emails, have failed to fill out LEGAL paperwork that I needed. Not only me as a client has been trying to get a call back about the legal paperwork but my lawyer as well. They say they never had it in my chart but I emailed them several days ago, they give me absolutely no information about what is going on MY LEGAL documents that must be filled out and are time sensitive. Give the run around, and lie to their clients. I have never been to a mental health office with this kind of delay in communications and filling out paper work. This office really needs people who know how to work at a dr office, every single employee their is terrible at their job.
Migdalia Garcia: Been apart of CHD for years. And I can honestly say. I got one of the best therapist that's can come by. I'm so blessed to have her in my life and to call her friend. Again one of the best CHD theropist.
cathy serrano: My behavioral place
Laura Diaz: This place does not take mental health serious. They took me off the wait list without me knowing after waiting more than 2 months for outreach which i found out when i called wondering what was taking so long being that i was told it would take 2 to 4 weeks. After DAYS of phone tag with the supervisor they told me they would get my case open and assign me someone....of which i had to call numerous times within 2 weeks and never called me back...when i called the office they told me the worker called me a week prior which was a lie because i had no missed call or voicemail. When i said i dont feel comfortable seeing who i was assigned because she clearly was dodging my messages i was told i can be put on a wait list again...Seems to me they dont understand how mental health works and how hard enough it is for someone with mental health to even advocate issues for themselves at times. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! If you have serious mental health issues i recommend finding somewhere reliable.
Sandra Colon: Very friendly peoples
Mandy Harfst: At this place you a really just a number. The administrative staff are condescending and rude. Good luck if you need help with anything. My therapist is so so. I wish there were better options. Since they cater to the poor though, they don't have to change. The incentive is not there. People have no other options and they know that.
Raphael Elias: Not very insightful,
Paul Fosberg: The management at the Palmer mass shelter is the most unprofessional, rude , harassing people I've ever come across . Constant defimation of character which is very much so against the law..I made a complaint against a certain woman and nothing got done. Now its time to call the news and let them know what kind of people they employ there..

Behavioral Health Network, Inc.: what do users think?
Mateo Torres: Not proud to say I work for this organization but it pays the bills for now.
Trish: This place isn't it.
Carol Malone: Janelle and Cassie very professional and caring. I would recommend them
Michael Armstrong: They sent my friend to the hospital for supposedly saying he was suicidal when he wasn’t.
Jeanny Erma: Front desk is too incompetent to do their job correctly and keep me on a waitlist. I was told that I would be waiting for 8 weeks to be seen. Well, two months passed and I call asking to know where I am on the waitlist. I get told that I was never put on a waiting list and that I would have to wait a whole year. This is absurd and downright shameful.
Misael Suarez: The detox in spfld, ma is only good for people with no insurance or for those with any form of Masshealth who have no choice but to go to a state funded facility. When I say state funded I mean you will receive minimal services and care, and be housed in a run down, extremely uncomfortable facility with overworked and understaffed personnel. There are staff that care and then there is staff that just work there. I understand you can't expect much when your receiving state-funded services. This is just so you know what your getting into and what to expect. Some one had to leave a review as it was well overdue. Don't expect any type of luxury what so ever and be ready for minimal care and poor housing conditions especially the beat-up bathrooms. I will end this on a good note. I never felt unsafe and they are quick to remove violent or threatening patients. Security is never far. Plus this is just a starting point to get towards better services at a CSS or TSS and eventually in a decent residential program. No matter where you detox, it's going to be an uncomfortable and unpleasant experience. As long as your will to get clean and stay clean, is strong, you'll be able to push through this. Be blessed on your journey.
joshua pollock: After speaking to a Living Room worker and explaining the situation my patient was in and after obtaining info, worker said to send my patient there without any indication of only servicing patients with substance abuse. When patient showed he was told it was only for substance abuse patients and that the only reason we sent my patient there was "because we were only trying to get rid of him." Super unprofessional and down right false accusations especially after calling around different places, looking up information online and even in their own site, calling them only to be bounced around three different times and getting permission from The Living Room staff... Needless to say patient called upset at the Living Room staff and I completely understand why. Not sure I should refer anyone there after this...
EXODUS Drive: PROTECT YOUR LOVED ONES FROM THIS EVIL FACILITY!! THEY OVERDOSE THEIR CLIENTS AND CONVINCE THEM THAT THEY HAVE NO FAMILY!!! JESUS WILL HAVE THE FINAL SAY. AMEN👆🙏 0 STARS!!!
Eric Roberts: I notice that BHN seems to be rushing to cash in off the latest cash crop (Opiod Epidemic) while building and growing more facilities, programs, campuses, methadone clinics most def, etc. Its basically a modern day slash n burn operation. The bigger issue at hand here is the hiring of unqualified staff and lack of proper training. Its getting easier to retain clients during the Covid Epidemic because you got a captive and desperate market. Its a one hand washing another business. Thats why so many reviews express violations of policies,BSAS regs,SSA and HIPPA laws and Masshealth/ Medicaid insurance fraud allegations The new Criminal Justice system. Since the Feds have reformed incarceration of opiod dependent individuals due to enormous lawsuit settlements, BHN is picking up the slack! If Human Resources wants to talk more with me about my experiences I would be pleasantly surprised. You can bring counsel or two to give me a challenge.
Rafal Plonka: They use new peaple, no future in this job
Rosaida Ayala: La peor clínica mi hermano es discapacidado mental y física mente y nunca lo ayudaron al contrario me lo discriminaron
BOB SAGAT: Consistently break client confidentiality agreements. Address trauma patients as "well others have had it worse." Even went so far as to ask why the patient was even still showing up, when they weren't comfortable talking after consistent abuse from the "therapist". Maybe it's just the one therapist, but if they find the person to be employable, it speaks volumes about their care for their patients.
Kaitlin Montgomery: Staff is very rude. Not all but some. Cleaning the kitchen at 5am very loud. Then when I politely asked for earplugs I was rudely brushed off and told "there's nothing on". Very dismissive and careless of the needs of those who stay here. Was told by one staff member the tv goes off every night at 11 pm. During the shift change, a different staff member took over and claimed there is no set time that the blaring TV gets shut off. I was forced up till around 12:45 dealing with excruciating anxiety, depression, and exhaustion when sleep could have been the thing I needed to feel well rested and able to tackle the very difficult day ahead. Unfortunately now I will leave here in worse shape then I came in. Very poor treatment do not recommend!
Jef Gosselin: Professional
Jose Manuel: One of the staff was acting very aggressive with me on camera outside and I told the supervisors but no one did anything ! they all were helping the other staff out because they don’t care and like me either.
Joyner Bonita: The worst place ever very unprofessional and uncaring Maria plaza is the worst of them all,she don't know what she is doing, she takes rubber bands out and snap them and tell you that gonna be you.
Earlie Maria Knuckles: These People are Very Rude and Unprofessional! They wasted my time and behaved very poorly when I went there.
J C: They’re very unprofessional and rude. And they keep you waiting on the phone.
Curtis Godbolt: Great place caring staff.
Elizabeth Hussey: Helpful
Michelle Adams Darrah: Some of these peopld are amazing....

The Gandara Mental Health Center: what do users think?
Liz Garcia: This place is pathetic years ago they were good. Unfortunately now they have people that come and go and do whatever they want and not give a care to the well being of clients there!! They change counselors like trash bags and then you have to start all over again!! They don’t serve the community and need to close asap!!! Why does this continue to happen and no solution. They call people for a made up appointment when the patient doesn’t even have no knowledge of an appointment?? Like how they do their job is ridiculous. I need to find a better therapist for my loved one. I don’t not recommend this place to no one. They fire people there all the time. They don’t even know what they’re doing!!! A therapist leaves all the time! Mind you starting all over again! They need to be investigated
JoJo Young: GPS has the address for the Impact Center as this health center. Google constantly rerouted to this place.
Thatguygio Gameing: You can’t contact no one, they don’t call you back after 6 months of leaving messages they also are stealing the mental health people that have no family’s stimulus checks.Im building a case against them now they dint know my mom had a son and they took her check thinking no one would notice but if they did it to my mom they are doing it to everyone. There drug program is a joke instead of helping people the dam counselor are the ones selling drugs to the clients. This place is a disease to the community,I have uncovered so much but as you well now money runs everything..
Nicholas Dejesus: Why is your mailbox full and not able to take voice mails? SMH

Gandara Mental Health Center: what do users think?
Hy Phuyen: I am sorry if I posted a thumbs down to Gandara's programming, but a few staff when I was a former client had offended some clients who were living their own lives free. A few staff abused their power by not letting clients choose an option to follow that client's choice in an activity being offensive, not leaving them alone in their business which involved finishing homework, being off-ratio when some clients meet their staff who has a full ratio by leaving the other client who is not part of the group in coincidence who wanted to join the group, not letting clients use their coping skills to avoid other clients who would violate what they are doing which is a trigger, and not listening to a client's clear words making the staff be jumping in conclusions giving them punishment. Even some of the staff who work at the detention center formerly who does like clients are realizing they are working with some clients are not living a good life. Which is why someday, clients who are the smartest and most good people are going to rebel, like I did with one late staff who, before he died, deservedly realize I am more than a following client turned leader proving that we are more than listeners. We can't let other kids up to young adults hear staff say, that's how life goes," or "Staff always wins."
Bai Brinks: Sean Romanski & Julie Dzialo are very unprofessional & the HR team as well. I decided that being at a certain location working with some of the staff it wouldn’t be a good fit. They decided to hold my payment so it’s going on a month I’m waiting on my 1st paycheck. I don’t complain much I just move on but the professionalism was so unnecessary. In the Beginning they were always emailing and calling me back due to me being a new employee as soon as I had a issue to address I was only getting a hold of receptionist and a Payroll manager. Please just be aware that this may happen and may not be everyone else experience. I’ve kept good relations with multiple previous jobs never had a issue. Thank you to whomever read this
darin reyes: I was there ....yesterday i wanted help from crisis so they put me in a emergency room for 24 hours then crisis and there supervisor cleared me but gandara did not want to take me they picked up my clothes and thru me to the street and now they want to say that i refused treatment from respit and that is not true they told me i was ok to go back to my program ....i try looking for help cuz i don't want to use anymore but people just do me wrong

Clinical & Support Options: what do users think?
Onigiri Hipster: Is there a reason why this particular practice actively invalidates and ignores clients who are diagnosed autistic or on the spectrum who are constantly trying to advocate for themselves? The only one with a shred of empathy seems to be the one receptionist thats been there for years. Don't worry, I'll wait for a logical response.
Tony Pouliot: I called and spoke to a very young, inexperienced and (as it turned out) unlicensed woman who said that she accepted my insurance and would schedule an intake interview over the phone. The very next day she called back to say that she CAN'T take my insurance because she wasn't actually a licensed therapist! She then referred me to CSO social worker who would call and take my information if I paid her in advance of that call. Most of the reviews here are 3-5 years old, which is a red flag. Young, inexperienced staff and expensive therapy is no way to run a mental health clinic - especially a "non-profit". Stay away!

Baystate Behavioral Health - Adult Outpatient: what do users think?
Hayden Cifrino: Always great.(and Gabapentin is not a pain killer)
Catherine LaChance: I had been going to Baystate for many years, but I didn’t start having a problem here until somewhat recently. First, my regular doctor left the practice. No explanation why. She just left and I was left scrambling trying to find another doctor. I got put with an older doctor who recommended I take Gabapentin, which is an extreme pain medication that can knock you out, for klonopin withdrawals. I had extreme anxiety and was previously put on klonopin to cope, but needed to stop taking it. Gabapentin is not an anxiety medication. My aunt had taken gabapentin before and she slept through work because she was so groggy and weak from taking it. Therefore, I didn’t take it because I didn’t want the same thing to happen to me. So I called back to tell them Gabapentin wasn’t going to work and the on call doctor told me to take vistiril which also isn’t an anxiety medication! It’s an antihistamine meaning it’s used to treat severe ALLERGIES, not anxiety! Vistiril is essentially Benadryl on steroids. It’s not what you should be taking for anxiety OR withdrawal symptoms. Not only that, but my body rejected Vistiril and resulted in severe tremors and worsening anxiety. The doctor clearly did not know what she was prescribing, nor did she have the knowledge of what treats anxiety and withdrawal symptoms. Needless to say, I’m not going back. All they do is prescribe medication even those that have nothing to do with your symptoms! It’s all about making money for them.
