Gilberto Otero: Don't let their instagram mechanic touch your car. Hey Ed your mechanic never replaced my oil pressure switch 3 years ago. All this time and all he did was loosen it. Factory switch was in there. Not a replacement. Don't worry I fixed it. You owe me a $100.

J Colon: From the moment I pulled in I was serviced immediately! My total time with my muffler being serviced was only 30 minutes (maybe even less)!! I am beyond happy with the service I received, the customer service from Ed himself and his team that serviced my muffler was something I never experienced at another auto shop especially since I am a female. Beyond professional and super friendly! I was told from another local muffler shop (Bay st) I had to leave my car and they will call when they can look at it but was going to be a couple hours! Ed not only took my car in right away, he let me wait for my car to be serviced right there even offered muffins while I wait! I can’t say enough how happy I am with the services I received! Having some experience with car parts and labor costs I was bracing myself for a bill that would be unmanageable with my limited resources.I was pleasantly surprised! Not only was the cost more than reasonable, I was also offered financing which although I didn't utilize is comforting to have as an option and very likely will never put off repairs for fear of cost.They even refinished my headlights which had become hazed.Great place, friendly people, and they really appreciate you as a customer. Bree: Had breaks done the very 1st drive after repair got into accident brake pedal went to floor had to pull emergency brake which had no tension rear ended a car. Brought back to spartan they said it was completely separate issue with master cylinder n charged me again. So they obviously never test the brakes after repairs someone could of been killed the officer at scene was gonna charge me with some offense until i showed repair bill n showed him E brake failed was not re connected after brake job that same day. Also they allow my senior citizen neighbor to put approximately 20k last year into a 1998 honda accord which doesnt see 2 months without a breakdown and another $500 repair.

Broke down 10 hours from home, these guys got my squeezed in same day, had parts in stock, and were overall a pleasure to work with. Salman E.: A huge let down. Don't get mesmerized by all the certificates and decorations. I explained my issue to George in detail at the shop. They were to take my vehicle for a long test drive the following day to hear a tapping noise i described. Not only they didn't, Nick said it was crazy and unusual to do so even though i had agreed to pay the fee. Then he said I needed four new tires and suspensions that would cost me $3000! All they had to do was test drive the car, hear the noise, point to the real problem and be nice about it. Be careful with this shop.

Chhin Nai Eang: Traveled to West Springfield for a trade show at the BIg E from Maine. Thieves chopped out my Cadillac Converter on a Friday night in hotel parking lot. Spartan was the only place that picked up the phone at 9am Saturday in the area. Got a rough estimate of $1200 and dropped Honda Element off at 10am. They have a loaner car for $20, which was really useful. They finished repair at 3pm at cost of $1600, the extra was because thieves chopped off multiple oxygen sensors. Grateful to have a solid repair shop open on a Saturday, and able to get the job done by closing time.Service:Exhaust

For the sake of not making this a huge novella, I'll just say they were honest, detailed, and gave me options in a variety of brands and prices of tire models, told me what ought to be prioritized vs what would be nice but by no means urgent, and were just in general courteous and friendly. I was sneaky and didn't provide as much detail about the tire issue as I knew (I know... it's bad... how can someone help you if you don't give them all the facts? I'm just suspicious by nature, and recently got burned...) Anyway, despite my lack of details, they accurately - perfectly - assessed what the problem was and what my options were, without ever forcing the more expensive tires or resolutions (but calmly explaining my various options, price points, pros and cons. I can't begin to say how much I appreciate being presented the facts like I'm an adult that can handle it... There very good people as well my convertible top has a leak so while the time of them fixing it they left in there shop over night so my car wouldn’t get destroyed. I even received a message a few days after I picked up my vehicle from James, the owner, making sure everything was running well and to make sure I was satisfied with the service. Dyllan Farneth: My girlfriend and I were in a really tight spot when the front axle snapped. I called these guys and not only did they point me in the right direction but they made me and my car feel like a first priority. Skye Burke: Best auto repair service I have ever had, hands down. Knowledgeable main office staff that know what they're talking about, super nice and communicate really well. Techhnicians get the job done right. They even take a ride with you so you're on the same page about your car issues. Diagnostic fee is a little steeper than im ised to, but well worth it to get the issue diagnoaed correctly rhe first time. Best if you plan ahead and leave your car there if you can since they're pretty busy.
