Barbie Chase: Putting the long wait aside, because I understand that with one person working, things take time. I ordered the avocado pesto, fresh mozzarella and arugula with added bacon and a cup of butternut bisque. Was not impressed with either. The "pesto" was just pureed avocado with no sign of seasoning. The bacon ... Something wasn't quite right with it as it has been repeating on me since lunchtime and it is now after 8pm. The bisque just had a weird taste that I couldn't figure out what it was. But it wasn't pleasant.Now for the Serve safe practices. One would think that gloves would be worn during the making of a sandwich, but not today. Then with those bare hands the worker rang out a customer, took cash, made change and went back to making sandwiches. Um... Hello there is a sink right there for you to wash your hands in between touching dirty money and food. I won't be back. And I don't recommend this place at all. Just dirty.

S T: This is a gem of a little place to grab some incredibly tasty food. We got sandwich offerings, soup and dessert to go! They also offer glass bottles of local soda and they are delish! Really the hardest thing was choosing which items to bring home! Fair warning! This is not a knock at all but if you are western or Midwestern as I am, the chili was a huge surprise. It has a sweet kick to it! Almost like a bit of brown sugar? It was delicious just not what I was expecting at all. The corn chowder was totally as expected, also delicious. I don't imagine they make anything that's untasteful. Will definitely be back!Vegetarian options: They have some!

They always have a fresh take on "basic" sandwiches, creating something new and exciting on a regular basis. They always use fresh, quality ingredients and their soups are to die for! Even if it sounds like something I wouldn't like, I will try it and I always end up loving it. The kale and white bean soup was simple yet complex in flavor, to die for! It's always a pleasure to support our local businesses, and this is one I will continue to support on a regular basis.

However, the soup of the day was the chicken and rice and I do have to say it was not good at all from just the look of it I could tell, almost no chicken in it and it had a foul taste, however the sandwich which was there version of a steak and cheese was great maybe will try again depending on what soup they have

Natasha Klug: Amazing taste. I had both breakfast and lunch here. Both incredible. I asked for my bacon to be crispy and they made it to my request. Kind owner. I loved the pecan brownie and homemade rice crispies. I tried the chicken noodle soup and it tasted like mom made it very classic comforting taste. The Achilles heel sandwich was the best vege sandwich I've ever had. It was beyond delicious. I had the mountain man breakfast sandwich it was so good the biscuits are incredible.. the jam the sausage everything incredible. I tried the sweet potato biscuit with my soup the biscuit wasn't dry and had so much flavor. I'll be back time and time again thank you for the amazing quality food. Christy Peffley: Been going here for years. This place is older than I am. The sandwiches remind me of the ones my mom made when I was younger. Slice of pickle, cheeseburger chowder, and ham salad sandwich. There are others I have gotten from the menu and very nostalgia and family loving place. Go early though. That cheeseburger chowda (er) runs out quickly. Get a bowl or a cup.

MaryAnne: Don't let the size of this tiny place fool you, the food is always amazing and it's always made fresh to order. I always order a bowl of cheeseburger chowder and a chicken salad pita. I believe it was $14.45 (11-28-22) Those are my go-to, however, the minestrone is another of my favorites. The chowder goes fast so I recommend if you want to try it, go early or do a phone order. The service is wonderful and very fast. To be completely honest I have personally never had a single complaint about this place. It's one of my favorites! Delish!

The ham and cheese grinder was delicious!!! If you're ever in West Springfield Massachusetts, stop by the Celery Stalk for a nice dining experience.

Olivia Royland: I went out of my way to support this mom and pop shop. I had never been before so I was asking what was in the sandwiches. The man who was getting my food was kind and was considerate of my allergy. He went out of his way to tell me ingredients to make sure I could eat different items. The menu is pretty vague, so I did need to ask for ingredients. I didn't even know you could add items onto a sandwich because the menu and servers do not say anything.After I get my food and sit down I hear the cashier (who seemed to be the owner) speaking intentionally loud enough for me to hear. Swears were mixed into his language and he was basically making fun of me for not reading the menu when in fact I had read it and it was just super vague. He was really just being very rude and mean in the way he spoke about me. Also the workers in the back kept speaking very loudly and swearing. I am not going to go back to this place. The food was standard.

Friends order was tuna and macaroni salad (got potato salad). Again way too much onion. I would agree with the reviews here about the owner that he may seem rude, he is just trying to keep the long line of customers flowing.

Christian Smith: Delicious healthy food options … A Hidden Gem in Tower Square food court. I’ve ordered twice here once for lunch and breakfast yesterday. I had the açai bowl it was filling, cool and refreshing. My friends had omelettes that looked amazing. I would give five stars but they were a couple things that they didn’t have even though it was on the menu including coffee 😵but other than that everything they did have was awesome. I will definitely be back for more! Smoothies and açaí bowl is calling me now!

Eleanor Hinchliffe: For a food stall that emphasized helathy living so heavily in their advertisement and website, it seems ludicrous to me that they would not provide the packaging of their breads when I asked about the presence of corn derivatives for my corn allergy and simply wanted to "reassure" me that they didn't think it had anything bad in it.I cannot believe in good faith that this establishment took our group of two's food allergies into consideration seeing asA.) In the wrap I ordered, I was told they were out of quinoa, to which they offered no solution, I asked for rice as a replacement which was absent in the final product even though previously agreed upon.B.) The salad ordered asked to not have lettuce, cilantro, or onions and instead spinach was infact void of any spinach and filled with onions, as well as cilantro, foods which we're established as allergies with the cashier.C) When listing out allergies in our group they couldn't remember them and returned to the front to ask multiple times. I am glad they asked, however given that the orders came out wrong I cannot believe confidently that these workers were competent enough to be catering to food allergies.In addition to the food containing foods explicitly stated to be unsafe for us, when we were served intially we were not given parts of our order, namely the salad dressing to the salad that was not edible do to, again it being full of food we explicitly said we were allergic to.Most of the food was thrown away over helathy concern. This is truly upsetting given we paid over 30$, waited over 30 minutes with no line far past the lunch-rush hour, (we were the only people to order within the hour as we sat and contimplated if we could even eat what we were served, we saw one pickup order and other than that it was just us.) I find it highly concerning that it took well over a half hour, for one sandwich and one salad, to be prepared with no other orders and still have the food come out with things we are allergic to.Staff seemed incredibly aloof and we had to prompt them to check about allergies as they sat there blinking at us when we said we had a shrimp allergy and asked if they cooked shrimp separately from other foods.I would not recommend eating at this location, for safety's sake.

I had an organic reishi mushroom coffee with almond milk (the barista even put the milk on the side as requested), an Acai bowl, and the avocado toast on gluten free bread. Everything was nicely seasoned and good portion size for the price. Highly recommended with great service too! Vegan and gluten free friendly.

Peter Bovell: Hot Table has quality food! The premium ingredients make for top-notch sandwiches (paninis) well worth the cost. The sandwiches range from roughly $8-14 depending on the size. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great and offers a café vibe and the friendliest service in town. Definitely one of my favorite local shops.Vegetarian options: There are options to customize your own sandwich so there are plenty of work arounds for vegetarians. But, they also offer certain pre-built veggie options.

First the girl that made my sandwich put it on the grill and keep staring hard at me for some reason (witch made me uncomfortable) instead of watching my sandwich. I even smiled and said hi to her but she said nothing to me, i thought she is supposed to ask if I wanted it like it was described or do i want to add anything but she didn't. So the sandwich was dark and hard so they made me a new one. This one was under done. I also bought a cup of mac and cheese which had hair in it. it was so disgusting finding a hair in my food!! Steven King: The “medium” was HUGE(enough for two people). Can’t imagine how big the large is. Everything was perfect! Delicious, fresh ingredients. The bread was just right in everything, from the crust and the crumb, down to being toasted to the exact second of perfection. The Caprese was great and hit the spot, but I wish I would of gotten the Cubana like my friend. It was mouth watering. The homemade Raspberry Lemonade was some of the better lemonade I’ve had from a restaurant. It wasn’t super sweet or tart, but nicely balanced. I wish we had some locations in Richmond, Va. It would be a nice alternative to that overrated bread company with over-toasted sandwiches that end up rock hard.
