Laurie SMR: I was worried when I drove in and couldn't read the sign because it was so faded. The awning above the door was old and covered with mold and mildew, the other sign was half lit. Then I picked up our food...... it was Disgustingly terrible! Rice had a weird, old flavor. The crab rangoon had no filling & were burned. Chicken wings were dry and overdone too. I'm certain everything we received was reheated day old leftovers. It sucks when you spend a lot of money for old/reheated food that we threw away.

Laurie Hamm (Laur): Don't know what happened here order after order (it's only a cpl times a yr treat) the quality has declined to where tonight will be the last. Crab Rangoon is now deep fried cream cheese pockets, note the pic of the ? pork? Fried rice (rice, a sprout and maybe 3 tiny bits of pork if it's even that, too small to even tell) served to me upright sideways in a 6pack size bag. Styrofoam clamshell doesn't do well stored vertical in a paper bag!!No flavor except for the excess grease that indicates improper fry technique.On the hunt for decent Chinese place now! 😡😤So bad I just delivered it back. Minus the egg roll, I haven't eaten all day.... Walked .5 miles I was so angry!

Shirl Hickson: There was only one person working, I tried making my order and she walked away from me. My friend made a order and it took the lady a hour and a half for her to get the order. We go home and the lady forgot two things she ordered. Had to go all the way back and had to wait again. I'll Never go back there again. The food wasn't all THAT anyways. I wish Peacock was the way it used to be that was the Spot right there. But I'm gonna try it again and see how they are. Because when the original owners sold the Peacock restaurant the food just wasn't all that great. I'll try them one more time and I'll let you all know what I thought. Thank you.

The place is filthy , Dirty floors walls equipment. On the upside the girl at the window on my first visit was articulate polite and intelligent The young man on my second visit seemed tight and ready for conflict probably based on location and past experiences but that doesn't exclude the fact that right across the street is a college and that means high traffic. If the owners clean up this filthy mess they could be among the best. But now it's just as Wu-Tang says. It's just an old dirty Chinese Restaurant. Typical Asian fare.

The sweet & sour chicken was awful the chicken fingers are tiny and soggy and the sauce wasn't very good, I threw it away after eating only one chicken finger. The General Tso's Chicken was okay the chicken is supposed to be crispy but it wasn't and the sauce was decent but not the best i've had. I like that I was able to pay online through the beyondmenu app.

Ordered for me an my wife wich a House platter for two , we are locals from the west side of Springfield and considered giving a different Chinese food spot a try , then the usual “china garden” on boston road wich is really good !! I say th best in town. The beef sticks were almost uncooked and rubbery. From my experience there suppose to be grilled. The crab ragoon were made in-house wich I don’t mind but these were barely any filling and soggy. The rice tasted bland and no color. The spare ribs were dry and cuts I never seen before. I will never order from here again. I recommend no one to eat from here I don’t understand how there still in business.

Tony Cox: I ordered vegetable fried rice delivered to my hotel. I received a quart of rice and onions. When I called to tell the establishment that the order had no vegetables except onions, the same person who took my order told me to stir the rice towards the bottom and there should be broccoli in there. I told him that I mixed the entire quart and all I have are onions and rice he said that's how they make it. I asked if he would be willing to add the vegetables for a future order and he said that's how they make it just as I received it. After giving the driver a $5 tip for a $10.05 only to receive rice and onions, DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS DUMP!!!

The owners are lovely n the delivery service is quick n our order is always correct.Now I DO AGREE they do not put enough veggies in their dishes, beef n broccoli is " light on the 🥦" and I was SHOCKED when I ordered the veggie fried rice on more than 1 occasion and it literally only contained onions!! I strongly recommend you avoid that.It's really designed for take out or delivery, dining space is minimal. The kitchen is extremely clean and we have honestly never had an issue. Pretty good General Tsau's🐔 and they have pretty good incentives of free menu items when you order over $15, $25 etc but I do always remind them to include it please..
