Attree Cummings: People who work/voulenteer could be a little friendlier but as long as you go with the right documents you will be a quick in and out. They will help you if you've forgotten some things but at least bring your ID and a piece of mail. It's a huge hit or miss with the food here. I still haven't figured out the best day to go yet. I've been at the beginning, middle and end of the month and I've come home with tons of great non-traditional food bank foods like steaks an coffee BUT I've also come home with rotten Hamburger an 12 boxes of Mac n cheese.. I am very thankful to have gotten to a place close to home to help when in need of some extra food. If it's something I won't use I simply leave behind for someone else or if I bring home pass on to someone who will eat it. Too many people feel ashamed to go to places like this but you shouldn't be.. no one is here to judge you trying to help you eat. They also have baby food an diapers but you must ask as soon as you sit down with the helper cause then they have to resubmit you papers.. try it out if you need a place to go.

Melissa Sivard: Lorraine has been around a ling time. She also has help a lot of people when they needed it. I went there to get some food supplies from the food pantry to supplement my groceries. The food the gave me was amazing. I didn't use or like some things, so I passed it on to a friend who is in need & has no car. When I can help others too with something I don't need or use, it makes me happy. I also donate items back to Lorraine's if I don't have someone in need.

Tm C: Intake lady is a tad distracted an rude. Only person in whole place whos not friendly and inviting. She gotta deal with people all day so i get it but even first thing in morning shes not nice so i dunno. ANYWAYS rest of experience is top notch an I'm so thankful of this resource while ive been struggling. Now that they have partnered with foodbank western mass im seeing more cheeses an fresh fruit an veggies. Love the coolers we can choose our own things from. Im diabetic so in times past id get several items i cannot eat unless i wanted to be sick. Irs nice to feel like a regular person not embarrassed an just take what i can get an figure it out

Doctor Benway: Great community food pantry and soup kitchen providing meals and food to take home. Bring your ID and a current piece of mail to prove your address. I went home with plenty of bread, some frozen meats,fresh vegetables,canned and boxed goods, peanut butter, a whole watermelon,a few yogurts,fruit cups and trail mix bars. Very helpful if you are living check to check and run into financial troubles. Extremely friendly staff who are there to help those in need. Don't feel ashamed to ask for help for you and your family. No one should go hungry.
