Seeing all positive reviews gave me confidence to tow my 1992 Ski Centurion to Full Throttle Monday morning without an appointment. No promises were made, but I was told maybe Friday. Imagine my reaction when the phone rang later Monday afternoon and I learned that my boat was all set, fixed, and ready to be picked up. Now we can finish the season with our boat on the water. Anthony Ardizzoni: Hired L&D to move my pontoon boat from one lake to another. They did not secure the mooring ropes and were apparently dragging them through the water, when the driver put the boat in reverse the rope got stuck in the prop breaking the housing behind the prop ($250 part) as well as breaking the fuel filter when the rope snapped around. They immediately said we will take it back to the shop and replace fuel filter which they did. Then after they dropped it in my lake I paid them and they said they would take care of fixing the broken housing verbally. It’s been about a month they rarely answer my calls last time they did she said they are only willing to pay for 1/2 of the part and you have to install yourself or hire someone else… complete hack company I would never hire them againService:Boat trailer service

John Sloan: Had two outboards for these people to fix. They took my fathers lower unit to their shop and diagnosed my outboards issues as well. Was told 7-10 days to get the parts in. Several weeks went by without hearing anything before we made the first call to them to see what was up. We were told the shipping was delayed due to the coronavirus. We were very patient and understanding and gave them full benefit of the doubt. Joel told us he was a former Marine and talked the talk so we figured they knew what they were doing. A month and a half went by and they finally scheduled a day to come by and put the lower unit back on my fathers boat and fix mine as well. After doing a no call no show that day, they showed up unannounced the next day and put the lower unit back on. They didn’t touch my outboard. I called and was told my motor was actually fine and didn’t need any parts. If that was the case, why did he hook up his software to my motor and tell me it needed 300 dollars worth of stuff on May 11? He said he did another diagnostic test on the day he came back and it magically fixed itself. That is a blatant lie. My cowling was covered in half inch of pollen from sitting. Not 1 handprint on it. He told me “you’re motor is running in full throttle because you started it on the mitts, if you start it in a lake it will run fine. It needs back pressure.” I called a few marinas to see if that was true and was told by all that Joel was completely wrong. I have a Ficht motor. Completely computer controlled. No back pressure is required. You can start it on mitts or in a barrel. To top it off, my fathers lower unit is in worse shape than it was before they touched it. Fluid is leaking everywhere and we can barely spin the prop now. These people are an absolute joke. They will lie to you and completely waste your time. If Joel didn’t know what he was doing, he at least could have told me it was beyond his scope instead of wasting almost 2 months of my time. Customer service is horrible. Don’t waste your time with these people unless you need your boat washed or need them to come by your place and tell you what brand boat you have. That’s about all this business is good for

Matthew Hawkins: Long story short, sunk 1/2 my boat and water inside the engine caused the piston to break. I had no hesitation hiring them and he ripped my entire engine out, fixed everything and put it all back together in 2 days. Talk about service and Joel knows so much. Super professional!!! Highly recommend over anyone else. He will get it fixed the first time, unlike other repair shops who have to guess the problem.

Richard Thorlakson: Joel, and his helper Tommy, are FANTASTIC!! Last Fall they power washed and shrink-wrapped my pontoon boat that I had stored out on my back lot. The carpet was green from the moss, but they turned it back to the gray that it was suppose to be. Joel took my motor and my cushions back to his shop for the winter so he could put a new lift motor on the motor and re-sew the cushions because they were all coming apart at the seams. This week Joel and Tommy came back to put everything back together and everything they did looks great! What impressed me the most was that after they were finished and had driven off, I discovered something I wanted them to look at again. I called Joni at the office and told her about my concern and she said she would tell Joel when he got back to the office. Since I had already paid them for everything, I didn't expect a response for a few weeks since that has been my experience with most service-based companies. But no!... to my surprise, Joel and Tommy were back at my house the next morning to address my concern. They took care of it without a hint of complaint! Amazing!! I will be using them again whenever my boat needs attention!

Garen Sahagian: Steve is unresponsive to requests for his services, and clearly is cherry-picking which types of marine work he is willing to take on. He clearly prefers to take on simple cash-cow type work, such as winterization, oil changes, etc., rather than any type of work that involves detailed marine engine expertise. I have contacted him on multiple occasions, and he has summarily blown me off stating he was too busy with other work to take on diagnosing on my boat's engine. Why people refer me to him is a mystery. My conclusion, if its anything beyond simple work, he is willing to take it on, otherwise not interested. I resent even giving him the one star rating required to post this review.

Only complaint is they did not bother to cover up the brand new deck I just spent many hours building. The mechanics managed to burn a hole in my carpet and get grease splatter on the deck. Jordan Jezierski: Called to get my boat out of storage. Had registration issues with the trailer so asked if they could put the boat in the water and drive it directly to my dock. (For a $125 fee) I agreed and scheduled it for the following week at ANY time as to accommodate their busy spring schedule. I didn’t hear back the whole week, not even a “hey we are crazy busy can we do next week?” I’m a very understanding person when business is done right. I called that Friday and they didn’t even know who I was. I scheduled it again and was apologized to and told definitely Monday or Tuesday of the following week. AGAIN no call or heads up. I called Thursday and told them I was coming tomorrrow to pick it up and to please have it ready. This time they remembered who I was but didn’t mention delivery of give any reason why I didn’t have it by Tuesday as promised. I looked inside and there was sand, dirt, leaves and and empty food container filled with rain water which means it was taken out of storage and left outside.A full detail was already paid for by the previous owner who sold it to me. I called and complained and they agreed it was supposed to be detailed and asked if I could bring it back. Are you crazy?? I will not be doing business with Hazzard at all.
